"Robust Messaging Platform with a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really like Slack because it is just so easy to use. Each and every feature seems like it has been enhanced in a way that no other software can easily replace it. The tagging system is great because we can tag people and easily navigate through each group. I have over 150 projects, and the navigation is really easy. One of the best features is the ability to swipe through all the tags if someone has tagged me or if there is a post related to me. Slack has a feature that allows me to swipe back and check for messages I might have missed, which is really helpful. This has been really beneficial for me, especially when I discover that I've missed an important message after a few days. I can just swipe and find it. Another great thing is that Slack is easily integrated into nearly all software and CRMs, which I find very useful because I use it everywhere for my office purposes. What do you dislike about Slack?

Sometimes there's not enough customization related to when it should show us automatically active. There are some options available, but I think there should be more customizations. The setup was a little complicated, and it's not that easy to use. It takes some time to get used to it, especially for new team members, because of the learning curve. "Streamlined Global Team Collaboration with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really like Slack because it makes communication with a global team very easy. The channels allow us to keep conversations organized by project or topic, so finding information is simple. I also appreciate the real-time messaging and notifications, which help me stay updated and respond quickly. The huddle feature makes my work even easier. Slack helps streamline collaboration and keeps everyone aligned, even when working across different time zones. Additionally, the integration with other tools helps centralize information, improving our workflow. The initial setup was very easy, and our team adopted it quickly without needing much guidance or training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

One area where Slack could be improved is thread notifications. Sometimes it's easy to miss replies in threads, especially when there are many active conversations at the same time. Improving the visibility and consistency of thread notifications would make it easier to follow discussions and ensure that important responses are not overlooked. Beyond thread notifications, one possible improvement could be giving users more flexibility to customize notifications, so it's easier to prioritize what really needs attention. "Seamless Integration and Efficient Communication Hub"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really like Slack's ease of usability. It's great how everything gets synchronized easily when dropping messages or sharing files. Communicating across different channels and subchannels is very straightforward and organized, so it's hard to get confused. The responsiveness and speed of Slack make it an excellent tool for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Sometimes the notifications are missed when a new update is pushed. This kind of destroys and delays and costs a lot in ROI. Notifications can be lost not because of any misconfigured settings or some actual bug at the end, but it generally happens when Slack tries to update. Over time, Slack becomes buggy, or when a new feature is pushed, sometimes old features break. The dependency on Slack is a lot, and that becomes a real challenge. "Streamlined Communication for Large Teams"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really appreciate that Slack's channels help keep conversations organized and reduce confusion. The powerful search feature is great for quickly finding past decisions and files. I love how integrations bring updates from other tools into one place, reducing context switching. The async-friendly communication is a major plus, as it cuts down on meetings and supports remote work. Quick messaging really speeds up problem-solving and helps maintain a low-friction communication culture. The transparency feature improves team alignment. Using Slack alongside tools like Asana, JIRA, Google Drive, Zoom, Google Calendar, Zendesk, or Salesforce makes it even more powerful, seamlessly integrating with our workflow. Slack's straightforward initial setup works well for any team size, and the platform supports over 500 of us in our large company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I get notification overload, which can be really overwhelming. There's message overload, too, which makes it hard to keep track of important info. Sometimes, threads can get confusing, especially when conversations get lengthy or diverge. The search feature has its limitations, which makes finding certain messages or files a bit tricky. There’s still quite a bit of context switching, and it's not ideal as a long-term knowledge base because information can easily get buried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack keeps our team communication fast, organized, and efficient."
What do you like best about Slack?

What I like most about Slack is how it centralizes team communication and keeps everything organized in one place. Channels and threads make conversations easy to follow, and the powerful search function means past discussions and shared files are always easy to find. Its seamless integrations with tools like Jira, Zoom, and GitHub also make Slack feel like a true collaboration hub, helping our team respond more quickly and stay aligned. Overall, it cuts down on email clutter and boosts productivity across projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Slack can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when message volume is high and notifications are frequent in active channels. In busy conversations, it can also be difficult to quickly find key information, and the free plan’s message history limits may restrict access to older messages when you need to look back. "Fast, Organized Team Communication in One Place"
What do you like best about Slack?

What I like most about Slack is how easy it makes staying connected with my team. I don't have to send long emails or wait for replies. Everything happens in messages, and it feels fast and natural. I also like how channels keep things organized. If I want to check something related to a project, I just open that channel, and everything is there. The search works well too, so even old messages are easy to find. It saves me time because I don't get lost in different apps. I can send files, text someone, or hop on a quick call all from the same place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

One thing I don't like is that messages can pile up really fast. If I'm away for a few hours, catching up sometimes feels a bit trying. Notifications can also get overwhelming unless I adjust them. Another small issue is that the app feels heavy when I have many channels open. Sometimes it takes a moment to load older messages or search results. Not a major problem, but a thing I notice during daily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple interface, excellent functionality"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really like the interface of Slack and the functionalities it offers. By using public and private channels in Slack, we can organize our teams, groups, and projects. I also like that group chats can be muted when outside of work hours. I find threads appealing, and the best part is that it supports emojis, which makes messages more impactful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Yes, so the thing is that we can improve the fee functionality for granting access to public channels a bit more. Plus, the part about collaboration with external organizations or the path of shared channels can be made better by making it more security encrypted. That's the only thing that can be improved. "Intuitive Design That Makes Team Communication Effortless"
What do you like best about Slack?

As a UX designer, I’m hyper-aware of how tools shape team behavior and workflow efficiency. Slack stands out because its design truly respects how people work. The interface is clean, intuitive, and thoughtfully organized you can immediately understand channels, threads, and direct messages without any training. It's one of those rare tools where the user experience fades into the background, letting you focus entirely on the conversation and work at hand. I also deeply appreciate the customization options. The ability to adjust notification preferences, theme colors, and sidebar organization means every team member can tailor it to their personal workflow. And the integrations are seamless—having tools like Google Drive, Jira, and Figma right inside conversations reduces context switching dramatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Sometimes the sheer number of channels and notifications can become overwhelming, especially in larger organizations. While the mute and notification settings are robust, it requires deliberate effort from teams to establish healthy communication norms. A more intelligent default notification setup for new users might help ease this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack’s Flexible Automations and Integrations Make Work More Convenient"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack’s automations and overall flexibility have actually helped me automate my work. I have been using Slack for 2.5 years now, and I’ve found it very convenient. It includes features to add Google Drive, Gmail, and Calendar, which helps me stay updated. The channel templates help you build a good, informative space, and it’s also useful because you can edit and delete messages, or reply to a single message without starting a new chain. You can even message yourself, which is helpful for keeping notes. There are several ways to customize the UI, like marking VIPs and turning off notifications when you don’t need them. You can also make calls directly through Slack. Overall, it’s a handy tool to have around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Sometimes it stops responding or doesn’t function smoothly. The navigation and UI also keep changing very frequently, which can be confusing, because I’m often unable to find the option I need to reach the desired setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From Fragmented Chats to a Centralized Hub: How Slack Streamlined Our Logistics Coordination"
What do you like best about Slack?

As the HR Manager at Axiom Logistics Solutions, my primary focus is on our people and the efficiency of our internal operations. Our company operates in a fast-paced environment where clear, instant communication isn't just a nice-to-have; it’s essential for getting products where they need to be on time. For a long time, our teams were relying on a messy combination of long email threads and basic SMS text chains, which led to information getting lost and critical updates being missed. Implementing Slack was a strategic move to bring some much-needed order to that chaos.

What I Liked most about Slack is its ability to create a single source of truth for different types of communication. We’ve set up dedicated channels for each of our warehouse locations, which has been a game-changer. Instead of emailing back and forth, a warehouse manager can post an immediate update about a shipment delay in the specific channel, and the relevant sales and logistics coordinators see it instantly. The search functionality is also incredibly robust; being able to quickly find a message about a specific invoice from weeks ago saves us hours of frustration. It’s intuitive enough that our team, which includes a mix of desk-based and field personnel, picked it up with very little training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

However, it hasn't been without its challenges. What I Disliked, or rather, what has been difficult to manage, is the potential for it to become overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
