I have use Rippling for over a year and the global payroll feature is absolutely a life saver. Before, paying our team members in different countries was a huge mess with local taxes and laws, but now Rippling handles all the currency and compliance automatically. I loved the employees self-service portal allows employees to make self changes to update their own bank account information or download tax forms without asking me for help every time. The dashboard is very busy. There are so many tabs and icons on the main screen that it can feel a bit overwhelming when you first log-in. I wish I can hide some of the features I don't use so the screen looks simpler and cleaner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Rippling is very easy to use and has a straightforward interface that's easy to learn. I appreciate that it not only handles AI tasks but also incorporates a learning management system, which I find pretty cool. I value the leave management features a lot, along with the payroll system where I can modify, add, or split my salary and benefits across different accounts with ease. It's also great that I can submit for medical or other kinds of leaves just with one click. The initial setup was very easy too, thanks to the platform being easy to understand and navigate, plus the learning management system had a lot of resources to help me learn more about Rippling and how to use it. I love how broad Rippling is, it covers payroll, benefits, time tracking, reporting, and company policies. It really fills the gaps and I love that you can add a new tool to your subscription at any point within your contract. So you can start small with just payroll and time tracking, then you could add in benefits management, and so on and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I've found that I don't love is that the amount of seats you sign up for at the beginning of the contract term is the lowest amount of seats you can have. So if you start with 25 employees and 5 employees quit, you still have to pay for those 5 seats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about Rippling is their life saver and easy salary structure feature, it lets me set clear pay grades and job description for every role, ensuring compensation and wages payment is organized and fair. I also sign with the web portal that let employees to login at anytime to download our @-2s and pay stubs history without the need to ask from HR. I'm using Rippling a few time in a week. Customer support is very reliable in making sure that we correctly implemented and move all our old payment data into the new structures so everything is correct from day one. I don't fancy their login timeout that is too sensitive with inactivity and immediately kicking me off from the session. Integration with Adobe Acrobat is available, but not many tools is available to make it worth-it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rippling makes global employment feel simple and reliable. I work remotely in Asia for a U.S.-based company, and Rippling helps ensure I’m paid accurately and on time. Riplling's self-service portal has totally change how our team operates, it wasn't just a place to check paystub, it is a command center where employees handled their own benefits management and life-event changes. Schedule management tools are a massive relief to manage vacations, sick leave, and even a complex overtime rules are tracked automatically. Implementation process is easy because of the guided migration, we've been assigned a dedicated specialist customer support that helped map our existing payroll data and state-specific compliance support rules directly into the employees payroll settings.

In addition, we transform from overly-manual spreadsheet operation into a fully integrated HR code system and IT system(slack integrated) just under three weeks and have been using the system for almost three years everyday without any major issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike with Rippling's mobile apps is lacking of advanced administrative capabilities, currently, to resolve complex schedule management conflicts or compliance audits still require for a desktop version of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rippling work very well in several administration management especially with time, attendance, and PTO that allow me to clock in via the mobile apps, and the system automatically remark overtime or missed break based on local labor laws. The benefits administration is impressive, during open enrollment, our team can compare plans side-by-side and any changes they make (including life events) is automatically update their payroll deduction without us lifting a finger. We use Rippling daily for everything from shift scheduling to expenses approvals. Best example of integration is how its connect with Slack and Google Calendar, when an employee's PTO is approved, it automatically updated their status in Slack and mark the as "out of office" on the team calendar. My experience with Rippling is positive and easy to use, while the customer support is generally helpful, it can sometimes be inconsistent with response time for complex technical issues, often relying on a ticket-based system rather than phone support that can solve issue instantly. We are a small startup that started last year backed by Y Combinator, the same accelerator that incubated Rippling. We use Rippling as our standard HR system and payroll management, which allows us to delegate tax deduction, health insurance, 401K without having to set it up from scratch. As part of the Y Combinator deal, we also get 1 year of free Founder Mode subscription which helps us evaluate the product at no cost which is excellent. Our fundamental reason for picking Rippling over other startup-focused HR companies was the maturity of the platform and their top tier sales team, which can be pushy at times but generally were quite helpful. More over, their support team is excellent which has really quick turnaround time on Slack. We use Rippling every week for our payroll checks and its been really smooth. We also integrate it with our health insurance reimbursement through Salusion which has been great. The migration and implementation was also great and seamless thanks to their onboarding team. Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate. The sales team is also somewhat pushy which is not fun. The platform has a lot of features and not all are relevant for a small startup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rippling offers so many services altogether in one package - instead of having to log in to multiple services, we now have just one place to go. It is the most affordable comprehensive software suite I have seen so far. So far, customer support has been fantastic. Most of our staff were able to make the switch over from the prior services we used with ease. QBO users will have to download/upload or manually enter vendors into the Bill Pay app, as Rippling does not currently offer a direct import from QuickBooks, and we had to troubleshoot a couple of errors I made in the setup to get the syncs to work correctly, BUT - other than that, the syncing is super smooth and I love it. It was a little difficult to set up (we chose the DIY approach, so that probably affected our point of view). However, our implementation team was very responsive and helpful. Because it is so robust and we have so many apps at our fingertips, it can be difficult to remember where to go when we need to adjust a certain setting. I love how personal and organized it feels. The notifications are perfectly timed and include just enough detail to tell me what they’re for, but still in a fun and exciting way.
