What do you like best about Rippling?

We are a small startup that started last year backed by Y Combinator, the same accelerator that incubated Rippling. We use Rippling as our standard HR system and payroll management, which allows us to delegate tax deduction, health insurance, 401K without having to set it up from scratch. As part of the Y Combinator deal, we also get 1 year of free Founder Mode subscription which helps us evaluate the product at no cost which is excellent. Our fundamental reason for picking Rippling over other startup-focused HR companies was the maturity of the platform and their top tier sales team, which can be pushy at times but generally were quite helpful. More over, their support team is excellent which has really quick turnaround time on Slack. We use Rippling every week for our payroll checks and its been really smooth. We also integrate it with our health insurance reimbursement through Salusion which has been great. The migration and implementation was also great and seamless thanks to their onboarding team. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming and hard to navigate. The sales team is also somewhat pushy which is not fun. The platform has a lot of features and not all are relevant for a small startup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rippling: Affordable All-in-One Suite with Robust Features"
What do you like best about Rippling?

Rippling offers so many services altogether in one package - instead of having to log in to multiple services, we now have just one place to go. It is the most affordable comprehensive software suite I have seen so far. So far, customer support has been fantastic. Most of our staff were able to make the switch over from the prior services we used with ease. QBO users will have to download/upload or manually enter vendors into the Bill Pay app, as Rippling does not currently offer a direct import from QuickBooks, and we had to troubleshoot a couple of errors I made in the setup to get the syncs to work correctly, BUT - other than that, the syncing is super smooth and I love it. What do you dislike about Rippling?

It was a little difficult to set up (we chose the DIY approach, so that probably affected our point of view). However, our implementation team was very responsive and helpful. Because it is so robust and we have so many apps at our fingertips, it can be difficult to remember where to go when we need to adjust a certain setting. I have been the main driver of the implementation and after 6 weeks of daily usage, I finally feel like I know most of my way around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rippling?

I use Rippling for all of our HR materials, like getting W-2s, putting in pay, days off, filling out forms, and healthcare. I find it pretty intuitive and clear. It gives me what I need on the homepage, so I just click, and I'm done. It's very secure, and I find it really great. Rippling keeps us organized as an organization with HR tasks, and I don't even need to talk to an HR person—I just use Rippling. I like that Rippling has a checklist on the homepage telling me what I need to do and complete, so I don't have to dig for it, and it clears once I'm done. The left-hand navigation also makes it easy to submit time off and get my W-2s or CNA history. It's just not a hard system to navigate. Having these features simplifies my experience logging into the system and accessing the information I need quickly without spending a ton of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling?

I'd love a summary of what benefits I'm signed up for. It's listed, but it's all kind of healthcare jargon. It would be helpful if there was a clear explanation of my healthcare benefits and how they're actualized. What do you like best about Rippling?

I like that I can see all of my benefits information and I love that I can clock in and out through the mobile app right from my phone. Rippling makes accessing all of my pay information and clocking in and out super easy. I can always access all of my benefits information, information about my employer and their administration team, and much more. Being able to do it quickly through my phone is so convenient. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Rippling has been a game changer for our team. What I love most about it is how user-friendly it is the interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, even for non-tech-savvy users. While Rippling is an excellent platform overall, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The pricing can be on the higher side, especially for smaller businesses or startups working with tighter budgets. Additionally, there is a slight learning curve when first getting started it takes some time to explore and fully understand all the features the platform has to offer. What do you like best about Rippling?

What I like BEst about Rippling is how easy it is to navigate, compared to previous employers, this app feels like it was desinged for employees and not the employer, meaning its makes it easy for us to track our hours, submit tickets to our Boss if any discrepancies with our time mangement, and also made it easy to accsess and change my banking info. What do you dislike about Rippling?

So far, the only thing that i dislike about rippling is nothing to do with the app, but rather when the team is logging in at the same time to clock out, like if 5-10 of us use it, then it's laggy or crashes out, but that may be due to the internet, not the app itself. What do you like best about Rippling?

I really like using Rippling because it brings most functional products like payroll, time off, T&E, into one streamlined platform. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, which saves our team time and reduces administrative back-and-forth. I especially appreciate how automated workflows keep processes moving efficiently while still giving us the visibility and control we need. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Our implementation experience with Rippling was extremely disappointing. The teams operated in silos and often seemed more focused on securing five-star reviews than ensuring we were genuinely comfortable and confident using the platform. Instead of providing hands-on, practical support, we were directed to hours of videos and tutorials. Too frequently, issues were escalated by “submitting an engineering ticket,” which made it feel as though no one on the implementation team had the expertise or authority to actually resolve problems in real time. One particularly frustrating example was when a team “took a correction payroll off our plate,” only to create significant additional issues for us. The effort required to secure any meaningful make-good was exhausting, and Rippling did very little to proactively rectify the problems or rebuild trust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
