"Slack: Easy, Secure, and Feature-Rich Communication"
What do you like best about Slack?

I find Slack to be a wonderful platform for daily internal team communication, allowing us to discuss queries and express ourselves with emojis and GIFs. It's the best medium and a very secure way of sharing data among teams, as it supports sharing any file such as PDFs and Excel documents. I really like its feasibility in connecting calls with Huddl and the notifications it provides on both a team and organizational level. The emojis are the best; they really help in expressing thoughts and messages beautifully. Besides, Slack is very helpful for holding meetings and receiving frequent messages from peers. It's faster and friendlier than Teams for sharing thoughts and ideas. I appreciate how easy it was to set up and use. The interface is nice, and I can update my status daily. The mobile app works well, and it's great that I've been able to use it for both educational and corporate purposes. I'm a big fan of Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration and Organization with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

I like how Slack keeps everything organized in channels, which makes conversations easy to follow and revisit. The quick search, integrations, and casual tone help me collaborate faster without relying on long email threads. One specific feature I really like in Slack is the ability to update or display my status—like “on break,” “at lunch,” etc.—and set it for a particular period of time. I find this feature unique and very helpful, especially for letting others know my availability at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Too many notifications can get overwhelming, and important messages sometimes get lost in busy channels. It can also feel distracting when multiple conversations are happening at once.

Its not specific to slack, its a general issue not even a issue, when there is work, there will be lot of message notification and can get sometime overwhelming but its not something to dislike on contrary one should be proud of his/her productivity. I haven't encounter any issue, unhelpful feature yet in slack. I guess i don't have much experienced the slack, but i will make to highlight as soon as i encounter any. "A dependable tool for seamless team collaboration"
What do you like best about Slack?

I really like how Slack keeps conversations organized in channels, making it easy to separate projects and teams. The integrations with tools like Google Drive, Jira, and Zoom save a lot of time since I don’t have to switch between apps. The UI is clean, easy to learn, and the mobile app works smoothly, which is super helpful when I’m on the go. Features like threads, reactions, and huddles make communication quick and more engaging compared to traditional emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The notification settings can be a bit overwhelming at first, and it takes some time to configure them properly so you don’t miss important updates. File upload size limits also feel restrictive when working with large media files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack Keeps Dortoservices Connected and Operations Running Smoothly"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is a highly optimised work space for our company Dortoservices where we make sure that all of the employees interact with each other and share the documents along with invoices, bills, data, customer leads etc. This is a software that ensures the smooth functioning of operations related challenges in our company. What do you dislike about Slack?

Initially we used to work on the free plan of slack but this version has limited message history option available and if you get multiple messages from different team members then the overall data becomes messy and hard to find. So, we went for its premium plan and made sure that all the files are properly managed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack makes team collaboration clear and efficient"
What do you like best about Slack?

One thing I like about Slack is the way it organizes group discussions for teamwork. We organize channels for work-related discussions and separate channels for design discussions so that everything doesn’t get jumbled together, like it does with emails or WhatsApp messages. This will help GraphEraaa by allowing everyone to stay on the same page and aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Regarding what I do not like about Slack, one of the cons is that sometimes the notifications can be overwhelming, especially if there are multiple channels that are active. It takes some time to get used to the notification settings. Another thing is that the message history limit on the free version can be limiting at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack has become a key tool for managing complex, cross-departmental collaboration"
What do you like best about Slack?

No matter the department or time zone, Slack’s channel-based messaging and direct messages have become an essential part of our workflow, keeping our team responsive, aligned, and in sync. Thanks to its smooth integrations, we can collaborate across locations with very little friction.

Slack has also evolved into the central place for day-to-day conversations, file sharing, and even getting work done, especially through integrations with tools like Google Drive, Zoom, and our project management software. As a result, it has made it much easier to manage different parts of the project lifecycle without constantly switching between apps.

Once we got up to speed, Slack quickly became our team’s go-to communication tool. Even as our teams grow and message volume increases, we can still rely on consistent performance and a seamless user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Slack excels at many things, but task management is one area where it needs improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool for reducing meetings and centralizing project data"
What do you like best about Slack?

The "Huddle" feature is a game-changer for quick syncs without the formality of a scheduled Zoom call. I love that it feels more like walking over to someone's desk. The search functionality is also incredibly robust; I can find a specific file or conversation from six months ago in seconds. Additionally, the native "Canvas" and "Lists" features have made it much easier to keep project notes and to-dos right where the conversation is happening, rather than jumping between different apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The notification management can be a double-edged sword. If you’re in a lot of channels, the "information overload" is real, and it takes some time to fine-tune the settings so you aren't pinged every two seconds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration, Intuitive Interface"
What do you like best about Slack?

I like the good interface of the whole Slack platform. I find its integration with different software, like Figma, very useful. The huddle interface is just amazing. The searchability feature makes finding a file or a specific feedback comment from months ago effortless. I also appreciate the threads feature, which keeps conversations organized and prevents the main channel from getting cluttered. Integrating Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud with Slack is a significant improvement, as it reduces context switching and allows me to stay in the 'creative flow' longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I wish there was a more robust 'Gallery' or 'Asset View' for each channel that organized shared images and Figma links more intuitively. The message history limit is a significant drawback for long-term projects where you might need to reference design decisions or assets from over a year ago. "Simple, fast communication that keeps teams aligned!"
What do you like best about Slack?

What I like best about Slack is how it centralizes communication and makes team conversations easy to follow. Channels keep discussions organized by topic or project, so important messages don’t get lost in email threads. It’s quick, flexible, and works well for real-time collaboration, whether you’re sharing updates, files, or jumping on a quick call. It helps teams move faster and stay connected without overcomplicating things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

What I dislike about Slack is how noisy it can get if it’s not well managed. Too many channels, notifications, and side conversations can become distracting and make it easy to miss important messages. It can also encourage constant interruptions and an “always on” feeling, which hurts focus if boundaries aren’t set clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A useful platform for daily work communication"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is an easy and dependable tool for daily team communication. I appreciate how it keeps conversations organized by separating them into channels, which makes it straightforward to locate messages and files. The notifications, integrations with other tools, and the ability to quickly search messages all save time and help teams remain connected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

At times, Slack can become overwhelming due to the sheer volume of messages and notifications. The limited message history available in the free version can also be quite frustrating. Additionally, the audio and video call features are rather basic when compared to those offered by some other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
