**What do you like best about Vendr?**

It's nice to have Vendr available when we're trying to negotiate contract renewals for various softwares, and their team is responsive and friendly. I also like the layout of their platform and seeing all of our different MSAs in one space. The insight into trends/costs based on what other users are seeing is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

There are often technical issues when trying to log into their homepage, leading us to frequently reach out to support for help accessing Vendr. Additionally, I have occasionally found myself more successful at negotiating discounted renewal rates without their team, which feels like it defeats the whole purpose.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendr keeps us aware of all upcoming renewals and has everything in one place. They also assist with streamlining processes to make sure all of the boxes have been checked before we sign a contract. When they successfully get us discounts on contract negotiations, that is also a benefit. Ultimately, though, the real pro to Vendr is using their platform as a source of truth and tracker.

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

Keeping track of vendors and when they renew was becoming hard to manage. Vendr gives us a platform to track and store all this information, The Vendr rep helps us get through the procurement process and requests all due diligence and other documentation for security and legal reviews. They then store the contracts and track when the vendor will renew. They also helped us define what we want from vendors and to refine the internal workflow used to help track the process.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

Although Vendr overall does a nice job helping us negotiate, tracking documentation, and recommending procurement standards, I still need to track what is going on and clearly state what I want with each contract. This may also include getting involved with the negotiation to help push the vendor pricing down a little more. Vendr helped us develop a procurement process and gave us a tool to manage it but this development was tedious.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendor management was getting hard to track. We lacked the sophistication to fully understand what terms we could request from our vendors including no auto renew. Vendr helped us to establish a protocol of requests we make now for every vendor transaction. Vendr provides a workflow where we can track the negotiation process, store the security and legal documentation, including contracts, and to track renewal dates. Occasionally we used to have a vendor with an auto renew clause that would renew without our knowledge until after the fact. Because of Vendr's recommendations, we no longer accept contracts with auto renew and because Vendr is tracking and reminding us about renewal dates, we never miss the opportunity to renegotiate contracts. In addition we have been able to take advantage of Vendr dollars for some purchases. This allows a rebate of some of the money initially paid for the services.

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

The worst part about negociating contracts with SaaS vendors is not knowing their pricing. Having a good idea about what the range of prices that they typically charge customers is a huge advantage. Hat's off to Vendr for giving their customers this information in as much detail as possible. To top it off, Vendr does the negociating for you. It save time and money.

The other advantage of Vendr is their organization of all Vendors in one location. From renewals to licensing details, they put all the information at your fingertips. No more spreadsheets or disorganized WIKI pages. The time savings is well worth the cost.

Their support throughout the sales process is excellent. They really want to understand what contract terms are important to you, not just price. They can use all the levers to get the contract to reflect not just the best price, but also the most favorable terms taylored to your needs.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

It seems like some SaaS company salepeople are ignorant about Vendor. They don't know how to interact with them because they don't fit the mold of "partners", which are known entities in the sales process. Educating SaaS sales people about Vendr's role is the only small disadvantage. It can slow down the sales cycle a bit.

I enjoy the contract management, supplier connections to contracts, and the ability to customize fields in the platform

In my particular case, the vendr negotiating team did not deliver $ savings as I had hoped, but there were many difficulties on my organization's side that contributed to this
The user interface has small gaps or features that can be expanded on, the product team at vendr is constantly working on this via user suggestions
As of now, multilingual services are limited

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

Central place for all our SaaS spendings and ease to track all the renewals. Customizable workflows has been really helpful as well. Ability to easily onboard all our users on this platform was great.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

Still not completely mature product. Navigating multiple workflows is not as fluid as desired. Absence of support for multiple currencies has created an issue here and there. Documents not easy to navigate within a workflow (adding a short description would be useful and-or adding the date it was added/modified), easy to confuse them.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Central place to manage all SaaS contracts and subscriptions. Prevents forgetting some renewals. Vendr negotiation services also helpful in keeping costs under control. Ability to compare our costs with the costs seen by similar businesses also very helpful.

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

Vendr has returned time and energy to our employees hired to sell, market, and develop our products and services.  It saves our employees from researching, negotiating and buying solutions to help them do what they need to do.  Vendr has internal knowledge of the best prices we can get for our SaaS purchases, do all of the negotiating and manage the internal compliance like legal, security and budget approval, to complete these purchases.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

I wish Vendr can help with other purchases outside of SaaS.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use a variety of SaaS products to help our organization.  From Salesforce to Netsuite to various Marketing and Engineering SaaS solutions, our employees were left to find services and negotiate independently without knowing what the market pricing calls for. Vendr has the inside track on how much these solutions are worth and helps us determine a fair price.  They also help navigate our internal compliance for contract, budget and security approvals and keep track of all of these contracts when it comes to renewals. This lets our employees do what they were hired to do, leaving this work for Vendr to handle.

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

The best thing about Vendr is that they have insights into what fair market value is for SaaS, eliminating the mystery around pricing when we make a purchase.  This data, combined with Vendr doing the negotiations on behalf of my company, allows us to get the best pricing while allocating our procurement resources to other deals.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

The only thing I dislike about Vendr is that the data is limited to SaaS, it would be so amazing if there was data like this for every category that my team sources.

Vendr solves two problems for me; the first is providing pricing data on SaaS, and the second is handling the negotiations on our behalf.  This benefits us by giving us peace of mind that we are getting great deals on SaaS and provides the procurement team with bandwidth relief to work on additional deals.

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

Vendr has helped us negotiate many contracts, which, due to time and workload constraints, we would not have been able to negotiate as successfully ourselves. We've saved countless hours of back and forth, as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars in discounts. The team is wonderful to deal with and has really helped us shoulder the burden of software purchasing.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

There aren't downsides to Vendr that I can think of. They are constantly working on improving their product, and I find that they've addressed any historical problems I've had with the software (ie: deal profiles not having a space to save contracts on the website).

Vendr has solved our problem of the centralization of all our larger SaaS spend and helped us negotiate the best price for all new purchases and renewals.

During our first year with Vendr we saved more than $300K on SaaS deals (new software purchases, upgrades and renewals), we saved a lot of time leveraging their support in compliance and legal review and as a free bonus we gor a great SaaS management platform for free thanks to their Blissfully acquisition

Vendr 2.0, the merge of the Vendr and Blissfully platforms has partially disrupted some of our reports and processes, we know Vendr is working to fix most of the issues and we hope they'll provide new useful features in the coming quarters

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to their experience in negotiating SaaS deals, we can be assured that we get fair pricing from our 200+ SaaS suppliers. We learned lots of negotiation techniques and we better understood the pricing models of our SaaS tools.

Vendrfunctions as an outsourced procurement function, taking over not only contract negotiations (which many business owners are not comfortable with) but also delivering valuable insights and analysis through their ever-expanding platform.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

Because it is, at heart, a service that relies on people, individual buyers we work with change frequently, and not all review the requirements we defined for our deals. Active oversight on deals run by new buyers is recommended. As new features have bee added to the platform, it can be challenging to keep up with how to best find information I need; I find mysel reaching out to my account rep more than I feel I should need to.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendr solves 3 main problems for me: 
`1  Time.  Procurement in a mid-size company is typically pretty complex, but the budget does not exist to support a dedicated employee in the role.  Vendr takes over the procurement process's two most time-consuming elements: negotiation and tracking. Even if I have to jump in and address issues at times, I know there is a single place I can go to see the status and where company input is needed.  
2)  Savings.  Vendr's buyers know the software space and benefit from being repeat players with many vendors.  They drive significantly better overall price outcomes than we would achieve with the individual business owners throughout our organization handling the price discussions did.
3)  Tracking and compliance.  The purchase process can be customized for your business' internal and external compliance needs.  Vendr obtains necessary consents and logs them in the platform.

The team is engaging and deeply helpful, from sales to onboarding to account management to deal negotiators to technical support.

Real savings and better deals have been actualized well above the cost of Vendr.

The software itself is an outstanding management tool and is now indispensable to us.

There is some initial setup, but this is primarily a "how clean is your import data" issue rather than any fault of the product/service itself. If your SaaS vendor data (next renewal date, cost, owners, etc.) is not perfectly clean or complete, the Vendr app also helps with that. It is more approachable than a random spreadsheet and supports attachments like actual contracts.)

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

I am systems manager/admin for many vendor accounts in our company tech stack, so the prospect of having one place to manage and negotiate the many contracts we are constantly handling is helpful. Assigned Vendr negotiation team is courteous and responsive.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

Overall I think Vendr has a lot to sort out before I'd recommend them. Our onboarding support was rocky at best, and many UX/UI improvements needed to happen in the intake portal. Also, in the end, Vendr didn't help us negotiate better rates for my particular contracts. Unfortunately, my team had to get involved and resolve the negotiations where they couldn't.

Ideally when working, Vendr is helping us management all of our operational contracts in one streamlined space and identifying/negotiating cost savings on our behalf.

Vendr helps me to be confident I'm getting the optimal value for the right price when purchasing SaaS and is working as an extension of our finance team. They can negotiate the deal on your behalf, provide background support, help collect necessary approvals, or coordinate security reviews. Recently they added a powerful functionality of SaaS spend tracking that allows you to be on top of everything your employees purchase and track transactions, contracts, and usage of the cloud products.

Vendr buyers and procurement teams will tend to work within their platform, so getting them to your systems (e.g., to perform security review) can be tricky as it is not scalable

Vendr provides us with an entire team of buyers, procurement specialists, and account managers. They manage the entire procurement process for us, and keep our internal stakeholders accountable to their vendor relationships, renewals, and budgets. We don't have to spend resources on FTE for procurement. New "workflows" promises to add even more efficiency to the process.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

Vendr is working on making its savings calculation methodology more transparent and easier to understand. It's getting better all the time.

Providing SaaS sales experts to be your advocate on the buyer side enables us to maintain a lean operations team. We can focus on what's important because we don't have to worry about renewing our tools and getting the best price.

I like the ability to hand off a renewal and know that the SaaS Consultants will work diligently to obtain the best pricing and not give up previously agreed-upon terms.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

The notification emails from the Vendr portal do not reference the supplier's name, so we don't know what engagement the communication is for without clicking the link to go into the Vendr portal.  I would like to see the supplier's name in the subject line.

Vendr is freeing up time that so that i can focus on other value-added tasks.  They also validate that the pricing we have negotiated in the past is competitive based on their experience with other clients.

Not every organization is scaled to a size that requires a CLM, which means that managing renewals is a more manual process than we want to admit. Vendr takes care of the behind-the-scenes admin requirements, and lets you focus on growing the business.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

Vendr will only handle purchases of a certain size, that's helpful but also leaves out a number of critical renewals and CC purchases that need to be tracked manually.

Vendr is a handy place to keep all of our SaaS contracts in one place, while managing the renewals for everything. Added bonus is negotiating better pricing and keeping the spend on the tech stack down.

I have used Vendr 4-5 times now. Vendor formalized a process for vendor selection at our company, we no longer have to guess who we need to go to. Visualizing the workflow and pending approvals have helped.

I haven't yet found them useful in negotiations with vendors or providing proactive support.

I see no downside to using Vendr.  Their team is an extension of our own team.

Vendr streamlines our SaaS purchasing & renewal, using a consistent process.  I'm not an expert on pricing for each the 150+ applications our company has in our SaaS stack,  Vendr ensures the best pricing is negotiated.

I like how Vendr has simplified our procurement process. The service its team offers is invaluable because I can have them negotiate the contracts on my behalf.  It's also great to have all our platforms in one unified location.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

I had some dislikes in the past regarding the self-service part of the process and their old portal, but I'm much happier with the new upgrades introduced recently.

It's primarily solving the procurement process and the complexity of managing vendor relationships. Having a unified platform for tracking all SaaS platforms the organization uses is also one of the significant benefits.

Vendr has been very helpful in working with our Vendors and working on negotiating our renewals.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

The Vendr portal is not as user friendly as we had hoped. It's hard to know what is pending and what the next steps are, but everything is a learning curve. We are hopeful to feel more comfortable as time goes on!

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

Blissfully offers multiple functions in one application. It's great to have HR, IT, and Finance all in one place and near-seamless workflow integration. I haven't found another SaaS platform that does everything Blissfully does at their price point.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

There are a few weird bugs and missing features that cause efficiency issues. For example, clicking into an Application to view its information (Blissfully calls them "vendors") while on page 3 and then clicking the back button brings you back to the first page every time. This is the same for viewing individual workflows, devices, etc. Occasionally a task isn't assigned during On or Off-boarding resulting in missed deprovisioning tasks. That said, Blissfully's Support is outstanding.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendr:**

Overall, Blissfully is a great product with a lot of potential now that they've been acquired by Vendr.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a fully-remote company, Blissfully's workflows are a great asset, especially when it comes to ones that involve people/teams across multiple departments. For example, IT, HR, and Finance can easily manage equipment collection, final paychecks, and expense reimbursements during Offboarding.

We've been working with Vendr for several months, and it has been a wonderful experience. The cost savings that we've seen have been tremendous and have benefitted our organization. One of the best things about working with Vendr is that they collect the legal, privacy, and security documentation, making it very efficient for our internal teams to conduct their due diligence. Working with the Vendr team was incredibly easy. I was kept in the loop at each stage of the process but I didn't lift a finger. They got us a fantastic deal with our new LMS vendor that I don't think we could have done independently. We feel even more confident in our decision now because Vendr ensured our contract was all-inclusive.

There is nothing negative I could say about my experience with Vendr. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to negotiate a contract with new or existing software.

Using Vendr allows Toast to get the best deal on our new LMS vendor. They are the perfect middle man that can stay unbiased in our decision-making, while ensuring that our needs are met in the contract. I understand the value on paper of outsourcing vendor management for companies that license a lot of technology. Having an intermediary to manage vendor agreements takes work off the business users, saving energy, but also contributes to some of the less ideal experiences we've had.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

We've found that Vendr can often complicate what would otherwise be a simple and straightforward contract process. This has caused relationship friction between customer and software vendor. Games of telephone between customer and their vendors, not fully understanding vendor contract models, fabricating customer situations, etc. Contract negotiations that had previously taken days have been needlessly drawn out and caused contract deadlines to be missed.

**What do you like best about Vendr?**

Vendr is my secret weapon in the battle between quickly scaling companies and the software providers who are "so excited for your recent funding". How does Vendr compare to its competitors? There ARE NO competitors. This is a refreshingly new idea with nearly immediate ROI in both literal dollars saved and hours of excruciating negotiation calls/emails/meetings with SaaS companies. 

Vendr allows me to focus on what I'm good at and what provides the greatest value to my employer, assessing the fit and potential benefit of SaaS tools against our organizational goals. I can spend my time thinking about how to utilize, implement, and integrate the tool with our existing tech stack and workflows instead of worrying about how I'm going to get the commercial terms in a good place for finance, legal, procurement, IT, etc.

**What do you dislike about Vendr?**

I've worked with 10+ buyers at Vendr. I can't think of anything I've disliked about my interactions with them, their ability to negotiate a good deal, leverage their internal data on contracts & strategy, and the professionalism of their interactions with the SaaS providers on my behalf. They function as an extension of my company and I know they will represent our brand and their own brand in the best way every time.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendr:**

My first experience with Vendr was at a large, publicly-traded, international organization spending over $10M annually on SaaS. Now I'm at a smaller startup that is only spending about $500K on SaaS but Vendr is still able to support our team, growth goals, and have it make financial sense for both ourselves & Vendr. 

Not sure if Vendr can help your company? Just talk to them. It's a very professional, non-pressure evaluation process. They really care about helping their customers and finding creative ways to partner with companies. 

They guarantee your ROI in the contract, so it's crazy NOT to work with them.

**What problems is Vendr solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At my last organization, I managed the tech stack for the revenue org (200+ sellers worldwide) of 25 SaaS applications. Not all tools were available to all teams, privacy & compliance regulations varied by country, and there were redundancies within the tech stack. Vendr allowed me to stay on top of multiple renewals every month (we didn't miss any 30, 60, 90 day out or auto-renewal clauses in existing contracts), consolidation of tools, optimization of workflows by increasing usage of the top platforms and removing the weakest. Additionally, we were able to reduce our annual spend on SaaS by over $200k.

In my current role, I'm managing the RevOps function at a rapidly scaling startup. I have less time to focus on SaaS than ever before but I also need several new tools that require research, negotiation, and procurement. Vendr will save me hours of time communicating with the SaaS providers on my behalf and help us establish a true procurement process internally to support a repeatable, scalable process for our finance & legal teams.

Vendr has experience dealing with any and all SaaS companies, so they have records of how much room each platform has to negotiate with. Once they find a lower price, they are able to add that data to their system and benefit all future clients looking to utilize that system.

The only dislike may be for folks who like the hard-cord negotiation tactics and handle the back and forth themselves. For everyone else, Vendr will do that for you, and take the time-consuming task of price and platform negotiation out of your hands.

There is a tipping point when you scale to a certain size that you find yourself drowning in SaaS platform selection and contract negotiations. When your team can use their time more wisely improving messaging or the product, let Vendr handle the time-consuming part of the contract negotiations. Not only do they make it easy, they can also give you advice on how much room to negotiate and what modules to add/remove.

We are saving a lot of valuaable resourced by letting Vendr do all the contract negotiation once we provide all of our requirements to them, and they will guide the process to the end. We never get to see the ugly side of greed, money, truth or dare tactics that people utilize during negotiations.

The process and engagement with buyers are very smooth. Vendr removes a great deal of stress in the buying process for SaaS solutions and has the benchmarks to ensure we are getting fair pricing. We have seen some good savings thus far, and we engaged with them in February of this year.

Vendr lacks effective reporting and functionalities that make it easy to navigate around the solution. The inability of the end-user to make comments or add notes for the buyers to see and having to correspond solely via email can be a challenge.

**Recommendations to others considering Vendr:**

I would recommend that any organization have a clearly defined procurement process that will easily allow Vendr to integrate without making a myriad of adjustments. Companies lacking a mature process may endure initial hiccups, but Vendr is dedicated to working through them to achieve the desired outcome.
