I like the power behind Agentforce Marketing. There’s so much that we can do to personalize emails, which I find really valuable. I also like using AMPScript to make dynamic blocks personalized to that specific subscriber.

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I wish there was a direct hookup between Personalization Studio and Journey Builder. We aren’t hooked up to the CRM, so it’s a challenge to send directly to a segment that clicked on a specific webpage, for example.

Agentforce Marketing helps us connect with our clients via email.

I like the seamless integration between MarketingCloud and SalesCloud. The ability to have one source of truth for all data is invaluable.

The platform has a steep learning curve and for those that do not fully understand the whole platform as a whole, the ability to get up to speed can be long.

It is solving our ability to stay on top of top of funnel leads. This is a benefit as pur sellers may not always be prepared to make an initial touch.

Maybe you could make things faster by providing more dedicated servers for each customer.

I use Agentforce Marketing to send transactional emails to customers. It correctly identifies invalid email addresses and marks them as held. However, the next time I try to send an email, it should recognize the updated/new email address instead of keeping it on hold.

The feeling of accomplishment when I've finally figured out one of the cryptic error messages

**What do you dislike about Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud)?**

I can work with clunky, complicated products. I can even tolerate historically grown structures that make no sense. But to try and navigate this with no useful documentation or training resources is next level bad. The Taskforce AI support doesn't make things better, either. Human support is available - bless them - but after a few cases I get the feeling they're just as clueless - to the point where just figuring out what product we're using took a day (It's Marketing Cloud Adcanced, by the way).

In short: this product is bad. Your work is going to suffer, your results will get worse.

**What problems is Agentforce Marketing (formerly Salesforce Marketing Cloud) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, I want to build our digital marketing journey around this solution, integrate the website (socials only to a lesser extent) and be able to create smart, flexible paths to nurture and convert, relying on analytics to evaluate and optimize. I'm not at that point yet.

Despite these challenges, I view this as a valuable chance to expand my skills, since becoming proficient with such a comprehensive platform is ultimately very rewarding.

I like that there are so many templates you can use to accelerate your ability to build and execute specific experiences. The ability to create a campaign from start to finish allows for speed to production and speed to market.

I think any Salesforce product requires a more intense level of expertise to fully understand the product and how to use it. Salesforce products can be more complex in usage and require specific knowledge and expertise to really be able to leverage the product to its fullest.

I hate that the best functions are not as usable without Data 360. There might be ways to better optimize segments and flows without data 360 foot. It’s not inherently easy to figure out.

Marketing Cloud makes it really simple to deliver daily campaigns, and it’s the main platform our bank uses to communicate with clients.

The architecture feels a bit outdated, and a few user-experience limitations hold it back. Addressing these issues could easily make this platform a 5-star option compared with some others on the market.

With Marketing Cloud, we can automate customer journeys, segment audiences accurately using real-time data, and deliver targeted communication based on customer behavior. This has improved campaign efficiency, reduced manual effort, and helped the team focus more on strategy rather than execution. What I like bes about the Salesforce Loyalty Mnagement is how seamlessly it integrates loyalty programs with the overall Salesforce ecosystem, Especially Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. It allos you to deliver personalized experiences across every customer touchpoint, turing data into real, actionable loyalty insights. Also I really appreciate the flexibility of Salesforce Loyalty Management's architecture.

Implemeting loyalty programs often requires deep Salesforce expertise. Customizing rules, tiers, and iintegrations can be time consuming and technically complex. Also the licensing and implemtation costs are quite high, especially for small or min-sized businesses. Additional costs for CRM, Marketing Cloud, or integrations can add up.

Salesforce Loyalty Management helps inify customer data, automate loyalty processes, and deliver personalized experiences. It increases customer retention and revenue through tailored rewards, improves operational efficiency with automation, and provides real-time insights to optimize program performance and scalability.

It makes the hard things easy, but makes a lot of the easy things hard. For example, the email interface is much more rigid and user-unfriendly that most other email platforms.

I like that everything lives in one place instead of juggling multiple tools. Journey Builder makes it easy to build out personalized customer journeys, and since it connects natively with Salesforce CRM, sales and marketing data stays in sync.

The learning curve is pretty steep and I didn’t find it super intuitive when starting out.

I have been using Agentforce Marketing for 15 years.  It has continued to evolve and always be on the cutting edge of Marketing Capabilities.  My favorite feature is the flexibility and ease of building personalization at scale.

Tbh, I don’t have any major complaints about Agentforce Marketing.  I wish some of the newer features were more enterprise-ready - but I know that is coming soon.

Marketing Cloud can process a large amount of data, and AMPscript is great for saving and encrypting data in the URL so I can use it later.

Agentforce only works with Marketing Cloud Engagement Plus. Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) doesn’t have that.

Agentforce makes it easier to find the data we need. Our team doesn’t have to export files or analyze them in Tableau before we can answer questions.

The user interface is not always intuitive, and simple activities like managing data, troubleshooting journeys, or identifying errors can take more time than expected because error messages are often unclear. Additionally, the platform is expensive, with costs increasing as you add channels, contacts, or advanced features, making it less practical for smaller teams. I like that everything is in one place, so there’s no need to integrate multiple third-party tools. Agent Force makes it easy to pull data from different SF tools, not only to answer questions but also to build a profile for each user.

I find the journey builder a bit clunky. You can create very basic campaigns, but integrating different channels isn’t as straightforward as it should be. Also, once a journey is built, you can’t edit it, and the interface is difficult to use.

Also, I think this new update has really been a good facelift for the tool. The initial setup has also been very good.
