Lattice helps me manage the team’s growth plan and makes it easy to collect feedback about both the team and myself. With its AI-powered features, performance, engagement, and growth management are much easier to handle.

I need to click around a lot to find things, which makes it harder than it should be to navigate. I’d also like the option to incorporate my company goals, department goals, team goals, and my own individual goals in one place.

**What do you like best about Lattice?**

Easy to use for our employees. There was not much of a learning curve. Lattice was implemented well in our company; the set-up process was not difficult. There are a lot of different ways to give feedback to an employee through Lattice, which the managers appreciate. I specifically love the chat with customer support option, everyone I have spoken to is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

The weighted scores can make things confusing. Sometimes the review process is too in-depth for what we are looking for.

**What problems is Lattice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lattice has streamlined our review process, and we were able to set up our bi-annual reviews to run smoothly. Before, reviews were paper and pen format, and Lattice is so much better.

**What do you like best about Lattice?**

Lattice is very easy to use - I use it weekly if not daily for my role and have been impressed with the functionality and features. It makes our review process much easier and alleviates much of the admin burden associate with review time. We also recently implemented Lattice Engage for our eNPS surveys and it's great getting to see the different splices of data. The implementation process was very smooth as well.

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

There are a few areas that can be a bit clunky, or take extra steps. For example, if you are an admin, you need to switch between admin mode (to kick start reviews, for example) but then if you want to go into your 1:1 notes you need to exit admin mode. Not a huge deal but the extra step can be cumbersome. Or if you are writing review questions, you need to first go into "questions", add it, then go back to the review and add the question.

Streamlining performance reviews, giving us more insight into your eNPS results data based on employee location, department, etc

**What do you like best about Lattice?**

We have a dedicated Customer Account Manager who meets with us every couple of weeks discuss question that we might have as we are implementing modules. The AI features in Lattice are also something that we are liking and that we have seen a lot of improvement on even in the last 6 months.

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

We started with Performance, Compensation and the Grow module and we have since started looking at HRIS and Engagement. Not a massive issue as we have our dedicated Customer Account Manager but it looks like there are different sales reps for each product. It would be nice to also have a consistent sales rep work with us as well. It would be nice to export the org chart into a Visio format (with the org fully expanded).

**What problems is Lattice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having one tool to house all our performance conversations, goals and compensation data. Over the years we have "frankenstiened" some systems together so nothing was talking to each other - essentially we had more expensive excel sheets that we still had to manually maintain. With Lattice, we are hoping to house everything under one roof. We have started with Performance, Goals, Grow and Compensation and are looking at expanding that in the next couple of years.

It helps me keep track of 1:1s, meetings, and annual reviews, so everything stays organized and easy to find.
Integration with slack is helpful for timely inputs.

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

It should encourage everyone to fill out the forms by sending reminders, and maybe also send occasional emails to help keep people engaged on the platform. It could also perform better overall.

For setting OKRs, this tool is great performance-wise. It helps the team, managers, and the company create solid OKRs to set up, align on, and work toward.

**What do you like best about Lattice?**

I love the fact that it is intuitive, user-friendly from both an employee and administrative perspective, and it offers a complete suite of HR services. If you have a question, more than likely you can find an answer in the FAQs, but if not, the team at Lattice is top-notch and always ready to assist, whether it's implementing a new module or answering a simple question. Having many of our HR process integrated has been a lifesaver and made our team so much more efficient! I use Lattice every single day, and we are getting feedback that many of our employees do too!

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

I love Lattice!  The one thing I wish was added to the Performance module was an average overall score. For companies that still use review scores to assist with annual merit increases, having to compute these manually is labor-intensive and takes quite a bit of time.

**What problems is Lattice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We kept track of many of our processes using spreadsheets. Having all this data in one place makes us so much more efficient, plus it allows us the ability the view data easily and keep track of trends over time.

**What do you like best about Lattice?**

We absolutely love the Engagement Survey feature! We had previously done them through either Survey Monkey or spreadsheets. It was an administrative nightmare!

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

The only issue that I have come across is the anonymity threshold. We are a small company - 14,  and it is hard to quantify some of the results we receive. I know that I could not use that feature, but it defeats the purpose.

I love how it is an "all-in-one" solution. We started off using Lattice for our Engagement surveys, but are moving towards using them for our 1x1's. We plan on using them for Performance reviews in the upcoming year.

Lattice is easy to use and helps us to set the goals. when we use it helps to give feedback and track the employee progress. The interface is user friendly and it really helps managers, employees, HR as it helps with the team communication.

Sometimes the notification can be overwelming it came 2 hours before the actual 1:1. And the mobile app is not as good as the desktop version.

Lattice has helped us with tracking the goals we have from the last year, We can track the performance. We can add points to connect in each 1:1 and we can track the discussed point easily with teh help of lattice. When it comes to the employee feedback lattice helps. If we have to give a shoutout to our employee lattice helps with that. It keeps everyone alligned with company objectives and make it easy to recognize team achievements.

**What do you like best about Lattice?**

Our company uses lattice for performance reviews, feedbacks, 1:1 and setting the goals. I like how everything can be managed in one place. My manager updates my performance which I can monitor easily through lattice and can share the updates with them.

Interface is also clean and even a new team member can get used to it very easily.

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

the website sometimes may load slow when the review is lengthy.

Our organisation releases lattice surveys from where I can leave my feedbacks for my manager and if I have any suggestions that could help the company. 

My performance review is also shared on lattice on which I can share my feedback or updates directly to the manager. 

It is way better than having those emails which you have to keep starred.

My favorite thing about Lattice is its interface. I also very much enjoy how often Lattice releases updates and new features. Lastly, Lattice's support team and customer teams are top notch.

The goal module in Lattice could use some work on the UI UX front. There could also be improvements to reporting, but it's sufficient.

Lattice is a great way to track and document my career development. I enjoy the 1:1 meetings with my manager feature. It is very easy to use.

Not everyone is onboard with using it. It is not implemented company wide so it can seem like use is infrequent.

I don't like that I cannot see any billing or contract information as an admin in the platform itself. Makes it difficult to track pricing and renewals without digging through old emails.

Some features seem a bit strange, but we have addressed them with our Account rep and have put in feature requests!

**What problems is Lattice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lattice is helping us solve some of the most common People Ops challenges by bringing structure, consistency, and visibility to our performance and engagement processes. Here’s how:

Performance Management
Problem: Inconsistent review processes, unclear expectations, and feedback limited to twice a year.
How Lattice Helps: Lattice gives us a reliable, repeatable framework for running review cycles, capturing self, peer, and manager feedback, and ensuring calibration happens fairly and transparently. This means better conversations, more growth-oriented feedback, and fewer surprises for employees.

Employee Engagement
Problem: Hard to measure and respond to employee sentiment in real time.
How Lattice Helps: Engagement surveys give us actionable data on how employees are feeling, which helps us spot trends, identify areas of concern, and respond proactively. It’s shifted us from guessing to knowing what matters most to our teams.

OKRs & Goal Setting
Problem: Goals were often siloed, outdated, or disconnected from company strategy.

On the admin side, I love being able to see who is or isn't completing updates and 1on1 meetings. I prefer this over just trusting everyone is leveraging Lattice. The shoutout feature is also my favorite!

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

I don't love having to log into Lattice to view meeting notes and tasks rather then have them in Slack or Notion. Also wish I could write the shoutout in Slack and it would translate to Lattice.This integration may already exist.

Performance management. Instead of waiting until the end of the year to give feedback, we are constantly asking for an receiving feedback.

I like the depth of functionality of Lattice. Even though we don't use all of its capabilities to the fullest, we are learning more about it every day and hopefully, we can get more use out of it in the future.

The external feedback process in Lattice is quite challenging for us as a consultancy. It's a pretty heavy lift, and we would love to see it be a little bit more user-friendly in the future. We've talked about this with our rep before as well.

The pulse surveys and engagement tools also provide valuable insight into team sentiment, which helps in proactively addressing challenges. It’s intuitive and makes performance conversations more meaningful and data-driven.

While Lattice offers strong features, the navigation can be overwhelming at first, especially for new users who aren't familiar with performance platforms. Some customization options—such as adjusting review cycles or feedback templates—can be rigid unless managed centrally.

Lattice is solving key challenges around performance visibility, goal alignment, and continuous feedback within a distributed Customer Support team. Before using Lattice, tracking individual and team progress across multiple regions was manual and inconsistent. Now, I can easily set clear objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with broader company goals. Regular feedback, 1:1s, and review cycles are centralized, making development conversations more structured and impactful. This has boosted accountability, helped identify high performers early, and made coaching more consistent—ultimately improving team performance and engagement.

Lattice has been every helpful for our organization when it comes to performance reviews.  It is customizable which is very helpful if there are different expectations across departments. The one on one feedback gives employees and supervisors an opportunity to discuss performance even before yearly reviews take place.  Employees are able to set goals and these can be incorporated into the review cycle as well. Customer Support has been very helpful every time I need assistance.

Because of the many functions in Lattice it does take a while to make sure that the program is being used to its full capacity and the organization is getting the most of the program.

- Our main pull to use Lattice was the performance management feature. We needed to identify consistent KPIs across the company, and ensure that all of our employees were being reviewed on relevant and consistent metrics. As we continue to grow, that foundation is essential to supporting our growing number of employees. 
- Love the feedback integration. It has empowered our employees to give regular and meaningful feedback to their managers and peers.
- Customer support is incredible! From our very first demo to ongoing questions about system updates, the customer support team at Lattice is amazing. Compared to other platforms we use, Lattice sets the standard for customer service.
- Integration and implementation were super straightforward. Couldn't have made it any easier!

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

- There are a few features that have proven to be clunky. When initially setting up review cycles, I was disappointed to find that I had to set up separate review cycles for each month, and then manually add the employees. We operate on a system where we give compensation reviews annually, but some employees have a different review month then their initial start date (based on promotions or role changes). I was disappointed that I couldn't set repeating review cycles based on who I wanted to receive a review each month of every year. The review cycle based on start date feature is just a little ineffective, and could be further refined. I did reach out to customer service, and they did not have a resolution for the problem, but suggested a work around that has proven effective. TLDR: I wish there was a bit more customizability in the review cycle setup.
- I wish the calendar feature integrated with Google calendar! That would make it a lot more practical for our uses.

Ease of use and ease of implementation. The implementation time commitment was hours not weeks.  We initially implemented all modules except Grow, Comp, and Engage and manged to configure and test all modules in less than two weeks. The product team is very receptive to feedback and also able to help come up with creative workarounds for functional gaps.  The customer support is great and very responsive.

At this point I don't know that I have any negative points to raise except the lack of a full integration with UKG UltiPro.  The out of the box integration does not pull all the fields necessary so we have to revert to a SFP file that is scheduled to run.

We have been able to streamline the  performance lifecycle into one tool to track growth, goals, performance, and compensation into one streamlined tool. What I like best about Lattice is how easy it is to use and how well the features connect with each other. The engagement tools, dashboards, templates, reports, surveys, and 1:1 features all help drive efficiency and make it simple to keep everything in one place. I especially value the ability to see and update company goals in real time, with feedback, goals, and action items from 1:1s all linked together. It’s also really encouraging to see employees engaging with the platform, and managers have shared that it feels easy to use and helps them be more intentional with their teams. On top of that, customer support is top tier — responses are quick, efficient, and always helpful.

**What do you dislike about Lattice?**

What I dislike is that reporting feels like the area that needs the most work. I’d like to see more customization options and additional report templates, especially for payroll and employee insights. It would also be helpful to have more standardization that’s consistent with other HRIS systems (for example, last name then first name formatting). Lastly, having a more seamless way to track both past and present data would make the reporting experience much stronger.

Lattice sets up HR professionals for success with easy implementation, great templates and user-friendly admin tools. I've used multiple HRIS platforms in my career, but Lattice as our performance management system of choice is a huge improvement and really sets our reviews, 1:1s, feedback to a higher, more sophisticated level.

Not really a downside, but since we don't use Lattice for our HRIS there are multiple systems that our employees have to shuffle between.

Lattice has solved our performance management tool hiccups. We used to use Google docs, forms and requesting docs via email /sharing which was cumbersome and required a ton of herding and requests that really slowed us down and required a ton more admin support. I appreciate how all the features—performance reviews, 1:1s, goals, feedback are housed in one platform. It keeps our processes aligned and saves time.  I also find the templates for reviews and 1:1 meetings to be quite helpful.

The customizable review cycles and real-time insights help us support managers and drive better decision-making. Plus, the platform evolves frequently, and their support team is responsive and open to feedback. The app is user-friendly and makes it easy to capture feedback quickly.

It provides the space for employees to write things in that they want to go over during their next 1:1, which also allows the manager to prepare for the question so the time is valuable and doesn't require much follow up because both were prepared for the meeting.

I like the 1-on-1 feature the most, as it quickly allows me to track action items and things discussed with a particular team member. I can schedule a meeting, which gives me all things discussed in the last meeting, action items, notes, etc., all all in one place for convenience.

Lattice is expensive to keep. Each feature has costs added in the package, and so it's not worth it if you are on a tight budget. I also feel Lattice can only be used for specific purposes like career development, through updates, goal tracking, etc., but it isn't a complete HR tool. If time off, holidays, staff details, etc. can be stored within it, it would make the price worthwhile.

Tracking discussions and goals on a spreadsheet is made so much easier with Lattice. Lattice solves the problem of keeping 1-1 discussion trackings,  goal tracking and reviews from  managers, etc. as all of these are in one platform, making it very convenient.
