## Granola Reviews
 ### 1. The game-changing notetaker that let’s you stay present in meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aprielle D. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

background without joining as a bot or recording audio means I can actually be present in conversations. No awkward “there’s a bot in this call” energy. It transcribes both on my Mac and iPhone, which is a game-changer for on-the-go catch-ups. The summaries it produces are actually good, not just a raw transcript dump, but key insights and actions. It’s become one of those tools that delivers every time. Not sure how I lived so long without it!

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Honestly, not much comes to mind cause it’s one of the few tools that just easily works without needing to tinker with it to get it working

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to lose focus in meetings the moment I started taking notes cause you’re either listening or you’re writing, hardly both. Granola helps remove that tension completely. It handles the capture so I can stay engaged in the actual conversation, and then surfaces a clean summary afterwards. For someone juggling a lot of conversations, the mental load reduction is real. I’m more present, my notes are better, and I don’t have to stress about what I missed

 ### 2. Effortless Meeting Summaries with Intuitive Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa K. | Global People Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I like the most the chat function with Granola itself. I can go back in history without having to search for the chat. It's great to just say, 'tell me about this interview,' and get the details. I also appreciate the really good integration between cloud and Granola, allowing full agents to analyze Granola on a daily basis and tell me what my to-dos are and what has been discussed. I am integrated with Claude, and it's doing pretty much everything for me. I asked Claude to review every meeting I've had about a tool, and it created a project plan for me based on our conversations in just ten minutes. The initial setup of Granola was extremely easy. I downloaded the app, logged in, and now it runs every day. It couldn't have been easier.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I'd like to have little buttons in Granola for automated actions, like a Slack button to generate a message or an email button for a formatted email. It'd be nice to connect directly to Slack for sending meeting summaries.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola so I don't have to take notes during meetings. It lets me focus on the discussion and provides transcripts and AI-generated summaries, especially helpful during longer meetings or with complex topics.

 ### 3. A Time-Saving Solution with Seamless Meeting Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne C. | Marketing & Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I like that I have the Granola app, and if a meeting is starting, it recognizes that and pops up, so I never forget to click record. It will always be there. If a Google Meet is starting, for example, Granola will pop up and ask if I want it to take notes, which is super helpful. I just click on it, and I never worry about forgetting. It really takes away the headspace of remembering to record the meeting to get notes. Granola does a really great job of transcribing the meeting accurately, which is fantastic. The initial setup was very easy, which is a bonus. Granola also has a great notes feature, where you can manually type your thoughts and it will integrate it with the meeting notes.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I haven't found anything to dislike yet.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola summarizes meeting notes and provides transcripts, saving me time and helping me easily refer back to discussions. It pops up strong reminders for meetings, so I never forget to record and capture notes.

 ### 4. Obsessed with Granola: Seamless AI Notes Without Disrupting Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I recently started using the Granola AI notetaker app in my meetings, and I’m absolutely obsessed. It’s so much better than the AI notetakers that just join a meeting, because it doesn’t disrupt the flow at all. I can keep taking my own notes, and I never have to worry about missing anything important.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

The only thing I dislike about Granola is that, occasionally, I’ve noticed the transcript isn’t completely accurate. It also doesn’t always distinguish between different voices, so it can be unclear who is speaking. It would be helpful if it could prompt me to identify who a speaker is, so I have that context.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of feeling distracted during meetings. I used to feel like I had to take notes the whole time, but now I can rely on Granola, jot things down when I’m able, and still feel confident I’m not missing any context.

 ### 5. Granola Turns Every Conversation Into Priceless Notes and Content Ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christel C. | Founder | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I love that I can use Granola for absolutely everything: every single conversation I have, every course I listen to that doesn’t have a transcript, every conversation I’m having with myself while I work, and every conversation with another person. The notes it generates are incredibly helpful on their own, but the real magic is the follow‑up discussion in the chat. Being able to turn those notes into content assets, reflections, and new ideas is priceless. For the price, Granola very quickly went from “nice‑to‑have” to one of the most essential tools in my stack.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything I really dislike about Granola so far. The only improvement I’d love to see is an option in the chat to send what the AI just wrote directly into the notes, without having to copy and paste it manually. That small workflow tweak would make an already excellent experience even smoother.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola is solving the problem of losing value from my conversations, meetings, and learning time. Before, I either didn’t take notes, or I took messy notes I never revisited, and I definitely wasn’t capturing the gold from spontaneous conversations or solo thinking sessions. Now, I can turn Granola on for any interaction - client calls, courses without transcripts, planning sessions with myself - and I know the important points, decisions, and ideas will be captured clearly.

It also solves the “blank page” problem for content creation. Because the AI can discuss the notes with me and generate angles, summaries, and draft assets, I’m able to turn everyday conversations into content for my business much more quickly. This saves me time, reduces cognitive load, and makes me feel far more present in the moment, because I’m not stressing about remembering every detail or trying to multitask as the note‑taker.

 ### 6. Revolutionized My Sales Process with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I really find Granola extremely easy to use, especially with its seamless connection with Google and Zoom. The fact that there are no manual steps involved and I can just jump right into a meeting is a huge plus. Granola takes a full transcript and analyzes it, making it easy for me to reference at any point in its library. The initial setup was also a breeze and took less than 10 minutes. It's such a valuable tool for capturing meeting notes accurately and staying engaged during conversations. I love how I can analyze and make use of all the notes I've taken, which helps me see what's missing in the sales process and where to focus. Everything works above and beyond, and I haven't found any issues.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Granola

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola to take meeting notes easily, stay engaged, analyze the sales process, and store transcripts for reference, thanks to its seamless integration with Google and Zoom.

 ### 7. Accurate AI Notetaker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

Granola is not invasive like other competitors and is a notetaker that works in the background. I love how accurately it captures everything and generates summaries while making it easy to access the transcript.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

The free version of Granola is extremely limited and you can’t access meeting notes after 30 days. It would be great if it could better understand roles and who says what in order to improve the transcript.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola solves the problem of note taking and surfacing actionable insights. It only works on the Desktop for now. It helps me share what happened with colleagues and import meeting notes into other tools like Google Docs, Miro, Hubspot, etc.

 ### 8. The meeting notes tool that finally lets you stay present in the conversation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandro O. | CMO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

Not having a bot join the call means there’s zero awkwardness. It captures everything quietly in the background and then delivers clean summaries and clear action items, without interrupting the conversation or breaking the flow.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Still maturing on integrations; a richer connection with project management tools would make post-meeting workflows even smoother.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eliminates the split attention of note-taking during meetings. Summaries and actions are ready immediately after, saving time and improving follow-through.

 ### 9. Effortless, Accurate Meeting Notes That Boost Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brahmatheja Reddy M. | Head of Product, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

What I like best about Granola is how effortlessly it handles meeting notes without disrupting the flow of the conversation. It listens directly from my device audio no bots joining calls and produces clean, structured summaries with decisions, action items, and key points. That alone makes it far more seamless than tools like Otter.ai or Fireflies, which often feel intrusive because they require a bot to join the meeting.

Setup is extremely smooth; once installed, Granola automatically detects meetings and prompts transcription, so I never have to manually trigger anything. The quality of the summaries is consistently strong, and the ability to enhance my quick notes or ask follow-up questions (What were the action items?) is something most competitors don’t do as well. Reviews from other users echo the same sentiment: the tool just gets out of the way and works.

Overall, Granola stands out because it’s accurate, unobtrusive, fast to adopt, and genuinely improves meeting productivity without adding extra steps which is why it feels like a good tool.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

What I dislike about Granola is that it still feels limited in a few important areas, especially for a tool I rely on in meetings. The biggest gap is that it doesn’t record audio or video it only transcribes the device output which means I can’t go back and replay parts of a meeting if something was misheard or misattributed. For critical calls, that’s a noticeable drawback compared to tools like Otter or Fireflies that offer full recordings.

Speaker identification can also be hit-or-miss, which makes it harder to track who said what in larger meetings. Integrations are another area where Granola hasn’t fully matured; it works smoothly if you’re in Google Workspace and on common video platforms, but exporting notes into other systems or syncing with broader workflows isn’t as seamless as competitors.

In terms of frequency of use, Granola is incredibly valuable when I have multiple meetings a day, but on lighter weeks it doesn’t add much utility, so it doesn’t become a daily-use tool. And while setup is easy, customer support can feel slow or generic when you run into audio setup issues or OS conflicts something a number of other users have also mentioned. Overall, the drawbacks don’t outweigh the benefits, but they’re worth noting.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola solves a major pain point for me as a product manager: staying fully engaged in cross-functional meetings while still capturing accurate notes. I work with UX, QA, developers, and external SMEs and every discussion has different details, decisions and follow ups. Granola automatically captures and organises all of that, so I don’t have to split my attention between listening and note taking.

It keeps a clear record of requirements, blockers, and action items across different teams, which makes post-meeting alignment much easier. Instead of rewriting notes or trying to remember specific explanations from SMEs or engineers, I can quickly reference the summary and share it with the team. Because it works quietly without joining as a bot, I can even use it in sensitive or external calls.

Overall, Granola reduces context-switching fatigue, helps me maintain clarity across multiple workflows, and ensures nothing gets lost between meetings which directly improves collaboration and decision making.

 ### 10. Efficient Note-Taking, Needs Better Detail Capture

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I like Granola because of its ability to capture and summarize notes for my meetings, which allows me to stay focused and engaged in our team discussions without worrying about taking notes. I also found the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

It does not capture all meeting details. It would be nice if it can provide an entire transcript of our meetings so you would know in case it misses something, especially if the meeting is quite lengthy.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola for taking notes during meetings, letting me stay engaged without worrying about missing details.
