## Granola Reviews
 ### 1. The game-changing notetaker that let’s you stay present in meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aprielle D. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

background without joining as a bot or recording audio means I can actually be present in conversations. No awkward “there’s a bot in this call” energy. It transcribes both on my Mac and iPhone, which is a game-changer for on-the-go catch-ups. The summaries it produces are actually good, not just a raw transcript dump, but key insights and actions. It’s become one of those tools that delivers every time. Not sure how I lived so long without it!

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Honestly, not much comes to mind cause it’s one of the few tools that just easily works without needing to tinker with it to get it working

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to lose focus in meetings the moment I started taking notes cause you’re either listening or you’re writing, hardly both. Granola helps remove that tension completely. It handles the capture so I can stay engaged in the actual conversation, and then surfaces a clean summary afterwards. For someone juggling a lot of conversations, the mental load reduction is real. I’m more present, my notes are better, and I don’t have to stress about what I missed

 ### 2. Effortless Meeting Summaries with Intuitive Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa K. | Global People Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I like the most the chat function with Granola itself. I can go back in history without having to search for the chat. It's great to just say, 'tell me about this interview,' and get the details. I also appreciate the really good integration between cloud and Granola, allowing full agents to analyze Granola on a daily basis and tell me what my to-dos are and what has been discussed. I am integrated with Claude, and it's doing pretty much everything for me. I asked Claude to review every meeting I've had about a tool, and it created a project plan for me based on our conversations in just ten minutes. The initial setup of Granola was extremely easy. I downloaded the app, logged in, and now it runs every day. It couldn't have been easier.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I'd like to have little buttons in Granola for automated actions, like a Slack button to generate a message or an email button for a formatted email. It'd be nice to connect directly to Slack for sending meeting summaries.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola so I don't have to take notes during meetings. It lets me focus on the discussion and provides transcripts and AI-generated summaries, especially helpful during longer meetings or with complex topics.

 ### 3. A Time-Saving Solution with Seamless Meeting Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anne C. | Marketing & Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I like that I have the Granola app, and if a meeting is starting, it recognizes that and pops up, so I never forget to click record. It will always be there. If a Google Meet is starting, for example, Granola will pop up and ask if I want it to take notes, which is super helpful. I just click on it, and I never worry about forgetting. It really takes away the headspace of remembering to record the meeting to get notes. Granola does a really great job of transcribing the meeting accurately, which is fantastic. The initial setup was very easy, which is a bonus. Granola also has a great notes feature, where you can manually type your thoughts and it will integrate it with the meeting notes.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I haven't found anything to dislike yet.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola summarizes meeting notes and provides transcripts, saving me time and helping me easily refer back to discussions. It pops up strong reminders for meetings, so I never forget to record and capture notes.

 ### 4. Obsessed with Granola: Seamless AI Notes Without Disrupting Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I recently started using the Granola AI notetaker app in my meetings, and I’m absolutely obsessed. It’s so much better than the AI notetakers that just join a meeting, because it doesn’t disrupt the flow at all. I can keep taking my own notes, and I never have to worry about missing anything important.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

The only thing I dislike about Granola is that, occasionally, I’ve noticed the transcript isn’t completely accurate. It also doesn’t always distinguish between different voices, so it can be unclear who is speaking. It would be helpful if it could prompt me to identify who a speaker is, so I have that context.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of feeling distracted during meetings. I used to feel like I had to take notes the whole time, but now I can rely on Granola, jot things down when I’m able, and still feel confident I’m not missing any context.

 ### 5. Granola Turns Every Conversation Into Priceless Notes and Content Ideas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christel C. | Founder | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I love that I can use Granola for absolutely everything: every single conversation I have, every course I listen to that doesn’t have a transcript, every conversation I’m having with myself while I work, and every conversation with another person. The notes it generates are incredibly helpful on their own, but the real magic is the follow‑up discussion in the chat. Being able to turn those notes into content assets, reflections, and new ideas is priceless. For the price, Granola very quickly went from “nice‑to‑have” to one of the most essential tools in my stack.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Honestly, there isn’t anything I really dislike about Granola so far. The only improvement I’d love to see is an option in the chat to send what the AI just wrote directly into the notes, without having to copy and paste it manually. That small workflow tweak would make an already excellent experience even smoother.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola is solving the problem of losing value from my conversations, meetings, and learning time. Before, I either didn’t take notes, or I took messy notes I never revisited, and I definitely wasn’t capturing the gold from spontaneous conversations or solo thinking sessions. Now, I can turn Granola on for any interaction - client calls, courses without transcripts, planning sessions with myself - and I know the important points, decisions, and ideas will be captured clearly.

It also solves the “blank page” problem for content creation. Because the AI can discuss the notes with me and generate angles, summaries, and draft assets, I’m able to turn everyday conversations into content for my business much more quickly. This saves me time, reduces cognitive load, and makes me feel far more present in the moment, because I’m not stressing about remembering every detail or trying to multitask as the note‑taker.

 ### 6. Revolutionized My Sales Process with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I really find Granola extremely easy to use, especially with its seamless connection with Google and Zoom. The fact that there are no manual steps involved and I can just jump right into a meeting is a huge plus. Granola takes a full transcript and analyzes it, making it easy for me to reference at any point in its library. The initial setup was also a breeze and took less than 10 minutes. It's such a valuable tool for capturing meeting notes accurately and staying engaged during conversations. I love how I can analyze and make use of all the notes I've taken, which helps me see what's missing in the sales process and where to focus. Everything works above and beyond, and I haven't found any issues.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Granola

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola to take meeting notes easily, stay engaged, analyze the sales process, and store transcripts for reference, thanks to its seamless integration with Google and Zoom.

 ### 7. Effortless, Accurate Meeting Notes That Boost Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brahmatheja Reddy M. | Head of Product, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

What I like best about Granola is how effortlessly it handles meeting notes without disrupting the flow of the conversation. It listens directly from my device audio no bots joining calls and produces clean, structured summaries with decisions, action items, and key points. That alone makes it far more seamless than tools like Otter.ai or Fireflies, which often feel intrusive because they require a bot to join the meeting.

Setup is extremely smooth; once installed, Granola automatically detects meetings and prompts transcription, so I never have to manually trigger anything. The quality of the summaries is consistently strong, and the ability to enhance my quick notes or ask follow-up questions (What were the action items?) is something most competitors don’t do as well. Reviews from other users echo the same sentiment: the tool just gets out of the way and works.

Overall, Granola stands out because it’s accurate, unobtrusive, fast to adopt, and genuinely improves meeting productivity without adding extra steps which is why it feels like a good tool.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

What I dislike about Granola is that it still feels limited in a few important areas, especially for a tool I rely on in meetings. The biggest gap is that it doesn’t record audio or video it only transcribes the device output which means I can’t go back and replay parts of a meeting if something was misheard or misattributed. For critical calls, that’s a noticeable drawback compared to tools like Otter or Fireflies that offer full recordings.

Speaker identification can also be hit-or-miss, which makes it harder to track who said what in larger meetings. Integrations are another area where Granola hasn’t fully matured; it works smoothly if you’re in Google Workspace and on common video platforms, but exporting notes into other systems or syncing with broader workflows isn’t as seamless as competitors.

In terms of frequency of use, Granola is incredibly valuable when I have multiple meetings a day, but on lighter weeks it doesn’t add much utility, so it doesn’t become a daily-use tool. And while setup is easy, customer support can feel slow or generic when you run into audio setup issues or OS conflicts something a number of other users have also mentioned. Overall, the drawbacks don’t outweigh the benefits, but they’re worth noting.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola solves a major pain point for me as a product manager: staying fully engaged in cross-functional meetings while still capturing accurate notes. I work with UX, QA, developers, and external SMEs and every discussion has different details, decisions and follow ups. Granola automatically captures and organises all of that, so I don’t have to split my attention between listening and note taking.

It keeps a clear record of requirements, blockers, and action items across different teams, which makes post-meeting alignment much easier. Instead of rewriting notes or trying to remember specific explanations from SMEs or engineers, I can quickly reference the summary and share it with the team. Because it works quietly without joining as a bot, I can even use it in sensitive or external calls.

Overall, Granola reduces context-switching fatigue, helps me maintain clarity across multiple workflows, and ensures nothing gets lost between meetings which directly improves collaboration and decision making.

 ### 8. Efficient Note-Taking, Needs Better Detail Capture

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I like Granola because of its ability to capture and summarize notes for my meetings, which allows me to stay focused and engaged in our team discussions without worrying about taking notes. I also found the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

It does not capture all meeting details. It would be nice if it can provide an entire transcript of our meetings so you would know in case it misses something, especially if the meeting is quite lengthy.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola for taking notes during meetings, letting me stay engaged without worrying about missing details.

 ### 9. Effortless Note-Taking with Intuitive Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dean M. | Country Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I find Granola incredibly easy to use across both the phone and app version, including on Microsoft and MacBook platforms. Its intuitive design makes it user-friendly, enhancing my efficiency during busy times. I particularly appreciate how Granola's features align with my workflow, especially the ability to interact with and query chat and note data. This functionality allows me to easily reference decision points and discussions from meetings, which is crucial in my daily tasks that often involve complex information and numerous decision points. The ease of initial setup for Granola was also impressive, as it was straightforward and uncomplicated, further contributing to its usability and my overall productivity.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I dislike that Granola doesn't have a steady web version. This is particularly challenging for me as sometimes I can't always install software on my work computer, especially my work MacBook. I wish it had a web version because not being able to use it via a web interface is a big blocker. Although I can share links and read documents, the absence of a fully functional web version limits my ability to use Granola effectively in a professional setting.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola to take detailed meeting notes efficiently, keeping track of complex information and decision points without relying on my memory. It's easy to use across devices, supports my workflow, and helps me stay organized during busy days.

 ### 10. One of the best tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan A. | Funding manager, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

One of the best tools I have and use. I use it every day for all my calls.
It helps me understand difficult accent merchants and to have clear and truthful interviews. i also configured an AI prompt to qualify my leads, which helps me greatly and saves a lot of time!

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

So far is excellent, AI could be improved because sometimes it does not take prompts correctly.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main challenges we encounter is understanding customers with strong accents and maintaining an accurate record of our interviews. Granola has addressed both of these issues for us. As a result, we are now able to work more efficiently and quickly than before, which not only improves our performance but also contributes to the company's revenue.

I love the ability to ask about specifics during meetings, and the app's seamless integration with platforms like Zoom, Teams, and Slack enhances my productivity.

I think it would be beneficial if it were easier to get a full view of the transcript when desired.

I find that data analysis and continual innovation of go-to-market resources could be improved.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Granola for meeting note-taking. It provides detailed, thorough notes with actionable next steps in a clean format, making it simpler and more efficient.

 ### 15. Game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Syl C. | Senior Technical Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I’ve been recruiting for nearly 15 years, and I genuinely wish I had Granola from the very beginning. This tool allows me to be fully present in every candidate conversation without worrying about taking detailed notes in real time.

Granola not only transcribes interviews accurately—it also organizes the information directly into my personalized template, which makes completing feedback scorecards fast and effortless. The amount of time this tool has saved me on a daily basis is truly incredible.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to streamline their interview process while improving candidate engagement and overall efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I wish the templates offered a clearer option to collect data in either bullet points or paragraph form from the start. Right now, it seems to adapt based on how you give feedback over time, which is great—but it would be even better to configure that preference up front for consistency.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola allows me to spend more time being fully present during candidate interviews, which has improved both the quality of conversations and the candidate experience. It also delivers meeting notes in the format of my feedback forms, saving me a significant amount of time when entering data into our ATS.

 ### 16. Gamechanger

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

Granola really helps me stay focused during calls and meetings by taking reliable notes. I appreciate that after a call, I can switch the note style—like discovery, auto, or 1:1—to get even more insights from the conversation.

It is also so easy to use and set up once you download the chrome extension! I use it on every call - it has been the most impactful tool for my day to day!

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

No real cons, I do wish I could tell it to summarize less of the information I say and focus more on the other party but with the note style I can typically get what I want out of it!

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is great for taking clear notes and makes it easy to organize them. I appreciate being able to revisit conversations and gain new insights thanks to the different note styles available. Another feature I really like is that it lets you launch granola and Zoom simultaneously, so you never have to worry about forgetting to turn it on.

 ### 17. Really Easy to Use and Solves a Worthwhile Problem

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Granola?**

Really easy to use, solves a worthwhile problem for me

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I can't think of anything that I dislike about Granola right now.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes it's hard to pay attention in a meeting and take notes at the same time, Granola allows me to focus fully on the people that I'm talking to and then makes it easy to remember things in the future if I need to reference them.

 ### 18. You will share it with everyone!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cory M. | Head of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I find that Granola Web and Mobile is far superior for taking notes and creating transcripts for several reasons:

- It works seamlessly across all conference software.
- It doesn’t record, so there's no need to interrupt attendees.
- It takes accurate notes.
- For in-person meetings, the mobile app is just as precise as the web version.
- They now offer folders to help keep notes better organized.

Overall, the value of Granola far exceeds its price.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

There is nothing that I dislike about the Granola software. They have a slack channel and I give them direct feedback.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes on all my calls, recorded lectures, and videos I watch. Providing a way to easily find my previous call notes.

 ### 19. Granola is my meeting sidekick. Transcription + follow-ups = a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Granola?**

Granola nails exactly what I need: clean, reliable meeting transcripts and smart follow-up summaries without any fluff. I use it for nearly every call to stay focused on the conversation instead of scribbling notes. The follow-up action items are especially useful. Huge time saver.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Sometimes the speaker attribution isn't perfect on larger group calls, but it’s minor and improving.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola helps me stay fully present in meetings without worrying about missing details. It captures everything accurately, then distills the key points and action items so I can follow up confidently. I no longer waste time rewatching recordings or manually writing recaps. Granola handles it all, which means faster execution and better internal alignment.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy C. | Senior Technical Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Granola?**

It's simply the easiest tool I've discovered for capturing notes during meetings. Most tools force you into a set number of meeting types/outline structures, but, while Granola offers a core set for you to adopt, they have made it super easy and flexible to create your own for whatever purpose you have. Their implementation elegantly enables AI prompting without forcing the user into that mindset. Their team has made themselves available via Slack or email and are incredibly responsive, proactive and engaging with their user base. Granola is the one tool I continuously have up during my day whether in a meeting or going back to "ask questions" about what happened during the meeting.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Integrations with other systems is still in it's infancy. The team is listening to their users and building based on need.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm in several meetings or discussions throughout the day. Taking notes and going back to them can be incredibly distracting, removing me from the conversations. With Granola, I can start the meeting and engage. Later, I can come back and refine notes or ask the transcript questions.

 ### 24. The best meeting notetaker, period.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Granola?**

When I'm on a conference call, or even just a regular call, talking and taking notes at the same time is never easy. With Granola, it does the notetaking and thinks about how to assemble the, and when the calls over, I have the notes ready to refer to and share.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Not much. I just wish they had an iOS app for my iPhone.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Granola is designed to address the challenges of documenting and managing notes during meetings. It enhances the traditional note-taking process by integrating AI-powered capabilities to transcribe, organize, and improve the notes from meetings automatically. This tool is particularly valuable for individuals with back-to-back meetings, providing a seamless way to maintain structured, comprehensive notes without the typical manual effort involved.

 ### 26. Allowing you to concentrate on the conversation with confidence your notes are taken cEarlare of.

**What do you like best about Granola?**

Granola was a very simple tool to set up and start using, It has been extremely useful in making notes on calls with prospective customers as well as team meetings, and allows me to focus on the conversation with confidence, that the important points are being noted.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Being still in development there has been, a few times, that I have provided feedback to the team about errors or ideas.

Their team have been very good at taking my opinion onboard during development to improve the product, and it's nice to see ideas actually come to fruition.

Would be good in the future to bring it to more operating systems such as Windows and Chrome, as this would expand the use within my company.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making notes during internal and external meeting, saving time and increasing the accuracy of my note-taking. Making it easy to share a summary of the meeting, We use a couple of conversation intelligence tools and I find that Granola is the most straight forward and workflow-friendly. This is due to the simplicity of it.

Also allowing me to go back and review what was said during performance review meetings with my team.

**What do you like best about Granola?**

I love that you can blend shorthand with AI notes. It's also super intuitive and super easy to use. The interface is clean and simple. I use this nearly every day for work.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

I would love if there were more integrations (outlook, apple calendar, notes/reminders) as well as a mobile app so I could use it on the go. I also don't like that there isn't speaker recognition.

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have lots of meetings and need a summary of notes for many after. Granola makes it easy to pay more attention to the call while jotting down the crucial info I need to be included.

**What do you like best about Granola?**

With Granola I don't have to worry anymore about taking meeting notes, I can just write down things I really care about and let Granola take care of the rest. Love that I can easily share my notes with my colleagues as well, and that we can all chat with the meeting transcript so everyone can see the full context of the meeting, even if they weren't there. I don't worry about forgetting important things because it's all in there. Love it.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Nothing, I love everything about Granola

Granola takes care of all things note-taking when I'm in meeting. I love that my colleagues can also benefit from my notes super easily now

 ### 30. The best AI notetaker you'l use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Granola?**

It's literally the best. It doesn't join your calls like other AI note takers (that was big for me) and the AI is ACCURATE. I don't usually fall for "Freemium" models but after the first 25 free meetings, I HAD to purchase it.

**What do you dislike about Granola?**

Would love to see more features being rolled out in a faster way!

**What problems is Granola solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to take notes anymore. Literally. Not at all.
