## Fathom Reviews
 ### 1. Excellent Free Plan, Solid Support, and a robust MCP

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert M. | Director / Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom’s free plan is excellent - one of the very best on the market. Onboarding and support have been solid. The user interface is mostly straightforward.

Meeting transcripts and summaries are generated and delivered extremely quickly, usually within a minute or two after the meeting ends. And they are for the most part, very well structured and contain the right amount of detail.

Finally, Fathom’s MCP is excellent- it’s been essential for tying Fathom into other tools in our software ecosystem.

We are new to Fathom but it has already become a permanent and core part of our enterprise stack.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There are a few quirks in Fathom's UX that make some basic functions harder to find than they should be. E.g. sometimes I have found that it is not possible to minimise the floating Fathom app in a meeting. While other times, the function is available. I also wish it were easier to add Fathom to an unscheduled meeting in Teams. So far, I haven’t been able to find a way to do that. It would be great if Fathom could release a Teams app that’s accessible directly from the Teams meeting UI.

My only issue with the AI meeting summaries is how actions are presented: they’re split between “Action Items” at the top, the summary body itself, and in “Next Steps” at the end. It doesn’t feel clean, and it still requires trawling through the summary to make sure you’ve captured every action.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Fathom's MCP, we have been able to automate creating meeting actions in our project management app. This has removed quite a bit of manual work and closed the gap between raising actions and tracking them.

 ### 2. Essential for Sales Calls and Follow-Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasu C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has become a core part of my sales and partnership workflow. It automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings with very little setup, which saves significant time after every call.

What I find most valuable is the quality of the AI-generated summaries and action items. Instead of spending time taking notes, I can focus entirely on the conversation. After the meeting, I get a structured summary, key discussion points, follow-ups, and next steps that are easy to share with prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is very little to dislike. Occasionally, some industry-specific terminology or company names require minor corrections in the transcript, especially during highly technical discussions.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of manual note-taking and post-meeting administration.

Before using Fathom, I spent considerable time capturing notes, writing summaries, and organizing follow-up actions after sales, partnership, and customer meetings. Now those tasks are largely automated.

The biggest benefit is that I can be fully present during conversations while still maintaining a reliable record of every discussion. This has improved follow-up quality, reduced administrative work, and increased the number of meetings I can effectively manage each week.

 ### 3. Easy-to-Use, Reliable Notetaker with Seamless Calendar Integrations and Fast, Accurate Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JohnBosco O. | Evidence and Impact Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

1) The interface is really easy to use.
2) It integrates with your Google, Zoom & Teams calendar seamlessly and the app you install also pops up once your meeting is about to start, giving you a reminder for your meeting
3) You get your full transcript, the video recording and the summary of the meeting, regardless of the platform you used and the length of the meeting.
4) Guess what? Even on the free tier, all these services are still available endlessly
5) I have also noticed that its native transcription works more accurately out of the 3 I tried.
6) After your meeting, it automatically sends you and other participants the summary
7) That summary is sent within 3 minutes, and you can also customise who gets
8) And yes, when you newly create an account, there are interactive video lessons that teach you how to use the fathom.video notetaker's app and web interface

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Ummm... you cannot eat your cake and have it back.
The full video recording of your meeting is saved to the cloud. So if you are not comfortable with that, then that's the only downside I know

I have not tried requesting them to delete a recording before though. You can try

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes other notetakers fail me. Seriously.
But fathom? It never does that. Never
It even saved me yesterday again for a virtual interview conducted. I did not know that Teams did not enable transcripts

 ### 4. Outstanding AI Meeting Summaries, Seamless Integrations, and Real Strategic Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

**UI / UX**
Exceptionally easy to use. The interface is clean, intuitive, and requires almost no training. Our team adopted it quickly, and it became part of our workflow almost immediately.

**Integrations**
Fathom works brilliantly with our wider tech stack, but what has been particularly powerful is using it alongside Claude. We can ask Claude questions about meetings that happened months ago and instantly surface decisions, themes, and insights without having to search through notes manually.

**Performance**
Reliable, accurate, and fast. Meeting summaries, action points, and transcripts are consistently high quality, helping us stay focused during conversations rather than taking notes.

**Pricing / ROI**
The ROI is outstanding. It saves hours every week and is free for charities, which is remarkable. For a small organisation, the value far exceeds the cost.

**Support / Onboarding**
Very straightforward to set up and use. The learning curve is minimal, making it easy for teams to get value from day one.

**AI / Intelligence**
This is where Fathom really shines. Beyond summarising meetings, it helps us identify patterns and themes across conversations. We can analyse how much time we spend on different topics, spot emerging strategic issues that we had not consciously recognised, and uncover recurring themes across months of meetings. It genuinely helps move our work forward and improves decision-making.

I've recommended Fathom to many other charities and nonprofits. It is one of the most useful AI tools we use.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only area where Fathom could improve is name recognition. As an international charity working across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, many of our meetings include names that are less common in English-speaking contexts. Occasionally, Fathom misspells names in transcripts and summaries. For example, one of my colleagues is called Ksenia, and her name is sometimes transcribed incorrectly.
The impact is relatively minor because the overall transcript quality is excellent, but it does mean that I occasionally need to review summaries before sharing them externally. It would be helpful if Fathom allowed users to build a custom organisation dictionary or learn names from previous meetings so that accuracy improves over time.
That said, this is a small issue in an otherwise outstanding product. The AI summaries, ease of use, integrations, and strategic insights more than compensate for the occasional spelling error. In particular, combining Fathom with Claude has been transformative for our organisation. Months after a meeting has taken place, we can analyse discussions, identify recurring themes, uncover issues that were emerging beneath the surface, and understand how our team is spending its time. These insights have genuinely improved our decision-making and strategic planning.
I've recommended Fathom to many other charities. The fact that it offers a free plan for nonprofits makes it even more valuable, and it remains one of the most useful AI tools we use.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Fathom, we struggled with internal communication and meeting follow-up. Important decisions, actions, and discussions could be interpreted differently by different people, and someone always had to spend time writing notes and circulating them afterwards. As a growing international charity, this created inefficiencies and sometimes led to misunderstandings.

Now, meeting summaries, decisions, and action points are available almost immediately after a meeting. This has significantly improved accountability, alignment, and communication across our team. When there is any uncertainty about what was agreed, we can quickly refer back to the meeting record rather than relying on memory. The result is fewer misunderstandings, better follow-through, and a considerable saving in staff time every week.

We have tested other note-taking tools, including Microsoft's built-in meeting notes, but we consistently find Fathom's accuracy to be superior. The AI summaries are concise, reliable, and genuinely useful.

The platform is also very thoughtful in its design. It is unobtrusive during meetings and automatically notifies participants in advance, giving them the opportunity to opt out if they prefer not to be recorded.

One of the most valuable features for us is the ability to combine Fathom with Claude. Months after a meeting has taken place, we can analyse conversations across multiple meetings, identify recurring themes, spot emerging strategic issues, understand how time is being allocated, and uncover patterns that were not obvious at the time. This has strengthened our decision-making and strategic planning.

The only improvement I would suggest is better recognition of international names. Because we work across many countries, names are occasionally transcribed incorrectly. The impact is small, but a custom organisation dictionary that learns names over time would make an already excellent product even better.

Overall, Fathom has become an essential part of how we work. It is easy to use, delivers exceptional value, and has improved communication, accountability, and organisational learning across our team.

 ### 5. Intuitive Meeting Notes with Excellent AI Summaries and Seamless HubSpot Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn R. | Enterprise Sales Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that it store video that I can share with customers (it will even auto-share if I want it to), makes detailed, organized notes, and links each note to the timestamp in the video so I can immediately jump to it. The AI that writes the meeting notes does a great job of summarizing what's important, some of the best I've seen. I didn't need much support for onboarding because it's very intuitive to use. It integrates perfectly with HubSpot and will automatically transfer my meeting notes, and integrates well with Claude as well. The price is reasonable as well. I've never had any issues with performance. I don't think it's ever been down when I needed to use it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only annoyance is the way the icon presents on the screen. It typically gets in the way of clicking other buttons, but you can slide it around and move it out of the way, so it's a minor annoyance. I'm not sure how else they would display it to make it better.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to elegantly and in an organized manner share recordings as well as notes with my customers and record them for myself. Fathom does all of that automatically, and I don't need to spend hours of work doing it after each call.

 ### 6. Fathom Is a Huge Time-Saver for Accurate Meeting Summaries and Action Items

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siva N. | Training & Onboarding, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I've been using Fathom daily, and it has made a big difference in my workflow. It automatically records important meetings, creates accurate summaries, and captures key action items, so I can stay focused on the conversation instead of taking notes. The integration with Claude AI is especially helpful, allowing me to quickly turn meeting recordings into detailed summaries, training documents, and reports. It's a huge time-saver and helps ensure nothing important gets missed.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The UI could be a little better as manual recording at request should be added in the main page.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of manual note-taking, missed information, and the time spent creating meeting summaries after calls. It automatically records meetings, captures key discussion points, action items, and decisions, allowing me to stay fully engaged during conversations instead of focusing on taking notes.

For me, the biggest benefit is the time it saves. After training sessions, client meetings, or internal discussions, I can quickly review the AI-generated summary instead of going through the entire recording. The integration with Claude AI helps me turn meeting recordings into detailed training reports, summaries, SOPs, and follow-up documents within minutes. This has improved my productivity, reduced the chances of missing important details, and made knowledge sharing across the team much easier.

 ### 7. Automated Meeting Documentation and Action Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourabh R. | Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom eliminates the need for manual note-taking by automatically recording, transcribing, and summarizing meetings. It accurately captures key discussion points, decisions, and action items, so nothing important gets missed. The searchable meeting history makes it easy to revisit past conversations and decisions whenever you need to. Its seamless integration with meeting platforms also helps teams stay focused and productive during discussions.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Fathom’s meeting summaries can occasionally miss important context or the nuance of certain discussions. I’ve also noticed that some of the more advanced features and integrations are limited to higher-tier plans. Because of this, the tool may still require a post-meeting review to confirm that action items are captured accurately and nothing important is overlooked. Additionally, recording and transcribing sensitive meetings may raise privacy concerns for some users.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom addresses the hassle of taking notes manually during meetings by automatically recording, transcribing, and summarizing conversations. It helps make sure important decisions, action items, and key discussion points don’t get overlooked, which reduces the time I spend on documentation and post-meeting follow-ups. As a result, I can stay fully engaged in the conversation while still having a dependable record to refer back to later.

 ### 8. Intuitive, Accurate Meeting Summaries That Make Every Conversation Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Jo M. | President and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The Summaries provided from Fathom have been so useful. I am a new Executive Director at a non-profit, and am having a lot of meetings with Board members and vendors. I can really focus on them and our conversation, while Fathom takes notes, produces summaries and creates action items. It's made my transition into the organization so much easier!

It is very intuitive, and its been easy to use. I integrates into our Google Workspace and helps me start the meeting on time and get Fathom into the session immediately.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I have not encountered any issues. The AI has been very smart and accurate, and I'm happy with its overall performance!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love being able to focus on people during my meetings, and not be distracted in taking notes. It saves me time in producing minutes with action items that I barely have to edit, and can share easily with participants.

 ### 9. AI-Powered Notes That Make Client Calls Effortless and Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genesis P. | Client Success Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I absolutely love this note taker and all the features it has. The AI mode has been incredibly helpful for me, especially during client calls. If I ever forget something that was mentioned, I can simply go back and ask the AI instead of having to search through pages of notes or rewatch the entire call. It gives me the information right away, which saves me so much time.

Another feature I love is the action items summary at the end of each call. It helps me stay organized, keep myself on track, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The follow-up email templates are also amazing. They make it so much easier and faster to send professional recap emails to clients after meetings.

Overall, this tool has made my workflow so much more efficient, organized, and stress-free. Highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

nothing, honestly. It's super easy to use.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s efficient, and the fact that it integrates with Google Meet or Zoom is amazing. It automatically joins all my calls without me having to add it to the meeting.

 ### 10. Simple, effective meeting notes with excellent HubSpot integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piers W. | Sales Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is very easy to use and has quickly become a valuable tool in my workflow. The note-taking is efficient and accurate, helping me capture key points from meetings without distraction. The integration with other platforms, such as HubSpot, is also very useful and makes it much easier to keep records and follow-up actions organised. Overall, it is a simple, effective, and well-integrated solution.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I have not found any obvious downsides so far. Overall, it is a simple, effective, and well-integrated solution.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps solve the problem of capturing accurate meeting notes while still being able to stay fully engaged in the conversation. It reduces the need for manual note-taking and makes it much easier to review key points, decisions, and follow-up actions afterwards.

The HubSpot integration is particularly useful, as it helps keep meeting records and customer updates organised in the right place without duplicating effort. Overall, it saves time, improves follow-up, and helps ensure important details are not missed.

 ### 11. Flawless workflow fit with fast, accurate transcripts and smart AI summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Baudouin M. | Dirigeant et fondateur, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom integrates flawlessly with my workflow. While my non-digital clients just see a standard Zoom or Google Meet call, Fathom works quietly in the background.

The interface is clean and distraction-free. Fathom’s UI makes it effortless to organize call playlists and locate transcripts without a steep learning curve.

Performance is rock-solid. The transcription accuracy, even when dealing with technical jargon is great. The software loads instantly, and the call processing takes few minutes, meaning I never delay my client follow-ups.

Hence the ROI is clear and immediate. In a low-margin, high-stakes service industry, time is money. Fathom saves me hours of manual data entry per week.

The AI intelligence is impressive, even in the free plan. The standard summaries are great, but the custom templates will allow me to structure summaries exactly how my white-label partners expect them. Furthermore, the 'Ask Fathom' feature acts like a smart assistant; I can ask it to extract specific sentences discussed weeks ago without re-watching hours of video.

Finaly when I deliver a new digital solution, onboarding non-digital users can be a major challenge. With Fathom, I can easily share targeted video clips of our calls to provide exact, contextual help. This visual, step-by-step guidance allows my clients to easily understand the digital tool, overcome tech anxiety, and get off to a much smoother, confident start.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

If I had to nitpick, the UI colors can feel a bit too flashy or high-contrast when using the dark theme. However, this is a minor subjective critique. The platform's overall layout is so simple, intuitive, and clean that the color palette never gets in the way of usability or stops me from getting my work done.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves two problems: information loss during technical handovers and digital friction for my less-tech-savvy SME clients.

Instead of overwhelming traditional small business clients with complex written manuals, I can instantly share bite-sized, contextual video clips from our actual calls. This visual, step-by-step guidance removes their tech anxiety and helps them adopt new digital tools much faster.

For my business, it eliminates manual reporting by automatically structuring technical notes into clean summaries I can immediately share, saving me hours of admin work weekly.

 ### 12. Takes the Pressure Off Meetings with Clear Summaries, Transcripts, and Action Items

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asad A. | Manager CRM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really appreciate the free tier and I like the app a lot. What I like most about Fathom is how much pressure it takes off during meetings—I can stay focused on the conversation without worrying about taking notes. The summaries afterward are also easy to refer back to later. I do refer to the transcripts a whole lot and the ability to revisit the meeting is great.

I’ve also found the action items section especially useful. It makes it much easier to understand who discussed what, who mentioned which point, and what the key takeaways from the meeting were. The features for auto record and auto share the auto meeting with options for internal and external is great for control. I do tend to pause recording as per requirements in the meeting and the access is quite straight forward. so kudos to the design team. The interface is intuitive and straightforward, even for someone using it for the first time.

One thing I’d love to see in the future is an option for offline recording capture as well. That would really be the icing on the cake. Rest be assured I love using the product.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

One downside is that there’s no offline recording option. Competing products do offer this, but their pricing and available options are a problem. Phone-based apps also include this feature. Can Fathom be used to transcribe a meeting that was captured on a phone?

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have to capture the salient points from my meetings and reflect them in different ways for the clients to review. This app is a lifesaver and makes my role so much easier to do. The transcripts and feedback also are available right after the meeting, enabling me to migrate my info to the various ways the clients wishes to view them

 ### 13. Ask Fathom Is a Game-Changer for Searchable Meetings, Summaries, and Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin C. | Customer Support Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Ask Fathom has been a genuine game changer for me.

I lead multiple teams and have several meetings each day, so it can be difficult to remember every action point, decision, or broader discussion, especially when it comes to strategic planning. Ask Fathom gives me one central place where I can quickly search across my meetings and find what was discussed, instead of relying on my memory or digging through notes.

One of the most valuable use cases for me is being able to ask Fathom for all the key topic points from my meetings over the last week. This is incredibly useful when I need to report updates to upper management, prepare for follow-up conversations, or make sure important actions do not get missed.

The meeting summaries are also very helpful. Being able to send a clear summary to attendees, including action points, saves time and keeps everyone aligned after the meeting. It reduces the need for manual follow-up notes and helps make sure there is a shared understanding of what was agreed.

The desktop UI is excellent as well. I like that it opens just before a meeting, shows my upcoming meetings, and gives me quick access to previous meetings. I’m currently using Fathom with Microsoft Teams, and the integration has been seamless with no issues.

Another big benefit is how quickly the summary and recording are available after the meeting ends. That makes it easy to review the discussion while it is still fresh, share updates, and move straight into the next action.

Overall, Fathom has made my meeting workflow much easier, especially from a leadership and reporting perspective. It helps me stay organised, remember the important details, and spend less time manually pulling together meeting notes.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The desktop UI for MS Windows is fixed and can’t be dragged around.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

athom solves the problem of important meeting actions and discussions being missed, forgotten, or not documented clearly after a meeting.

Before using Fathom, follow-up action items were not always easy to capture, share, or refer back to. This was especially challenging when moving between multiple meetings each day and leading different teams. Fathom helps by automatically capturing the key discussion points, action items, and decisions from each meeting, which makes it much easier to keep everyone aligned afterwards.

The biggest benefit for me is being able to consolidate high-level discussions across multiple meetings and use that information when reporting to ELT or upper management. Instead of manually going through notes or trying to remember what was discussed, I can quickly review summaries, ask Fathom for key topics, and turn that into clear updates.

It saves time, improves accountability, and gives me more confidence that important actions and strategic discussions are not being missed.

 ### 14. Quick, Easy Onboarding and Effortless AI Meeting Summaries with Fathom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mishkaah N. | Strategic Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

The onboarding process was quick and easy, with short intro and training videos available on how to set up and use Fathom. It makes recording meetings, taking minutes, and allocating tasks a breeze. Super user-friendly. Add to teams with a click of a button, and its Free! AI does the nitty-gritty for you, like different types of summaries based on your needs - and all of it is immediately available as soon as you leave the meeting, which saves me time sending out meeting summaries and minutes. Lots of things you can automate upon set up, like record automatically upon start of a meeting, which saves time.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I have not experienced any downsides during my usage of Fathom thus far.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Literally acts as my assistant when attending online meetings which is saving me time and it's super-efficient for post-meeting minutes and summaries.

 ### 15. Fathom has helped to reduce my notetaking by so much.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney B. | DCEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The Ai notetaking features
It is a great listener and records the video.
It eliminates me needing to take notes, which I take a lot of typically
It is simple to use. I press a button and it records
I like that it keeps the recordings in the database and not on my laptop. Way less space to take up
I am using it more often

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes the Fathom icon to add it to the room does not appear, I have to manually add it, and sometimes it still won't appear. Sometimes it takes a while to appear in the waiting room. Maybe I am doing something wrong

Sometimes the notes aren't the most accurate. Like it doubled the price I was giving to my client... maybe that was a sign to raise my prices haha.

It can be a little overwhelming knowing with all the features and how to utilize them properly.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to take notes (my handwriting ain't pretty ya'll)
It sends the notes to others, really helpful for meetings with potential and current clients

 ### 16. Indispensable Note-Taking Tool with Seamless Integration and Smart Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Clinical Hypnotherapist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist working with very complex cases, excellent note-taking is a must for my practice to satisfy both local and European legal requirements. Generally speaking, Fathom is an excellent and easy-to-use note-taker. Once set up using the PC app, I was able to seamlessly integrate Fathom into my client journey workflow using both Zoom and Google Meet.

The ease of accessing the summary, full transcript, and recorded video is brilliantly implemented. The automatically generated Action Items are extremely helpful; having the option to copy these items and create an AI-generated follow-up email is a fantastic time-saver.

The summary itself is excellent, broken down into four clear areas: Meeting Purpose, Key Takeaways, Topics, and Next Steps. These Next Steps are also smartly allocated to the person responsible for each one. Finally, it provides a list of your questions—clicking on one plays the video at that exact moment, which is incredibly useful for review.

I have had to contact Customer support on one occasion and I found them both helpful and very knowledgeable on the issue that I was experiencing. They resolved the issue in a timely manner.

I use Fathom everyday as I work fully online and it is an indispensable tool for my practice.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

While the AI is generally impressive, being based in Europe means I work with clients who often have strong Irish, Northern Irish, or Scottish accents. Fathom occasionally struggles to transcribe these accurately compared to standard American or English accents.

I have also noticed that if people talk over one another, the system sometimes misses a speaker or attributes the text to the wrong person. Additionally, the formatting of the text exports can be a bit messy and requires some manual tidying up. Finally, while the free version is useful, I do feel the limits on it could be increased slightly to offer more value before upgrading.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem Fathom solves is the conflict between needing detailed legal documentation and needing to be fully present for my clients. In complex hypnotherapy cases, I cannot afford to be distracted by taking notes manually.

Fathom allows me to focus 100% on the client, knowing that every detail is being captured accurately for my records. It solves the administrative burden of compliance by automatically generating transcripts and summaries that meet my legal requirements in Europe. The ability to click a question in the log and immediately watch that part of the video is also invaluable for reviewing client cues I might have missed in the moment.

 ### 17. Lightning-Fast Meeting Joins with Easy Sharing and Smart AI Timestamps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amr E. | Senior events manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The app joins meetings so fast, and it’s very easy to use, so you don’t need to be an expert. If you ever get lost, you can just copy the link, click “add link here,” and paste it to join. Once the meeting ends, it’s really easy to view everything on one page and share it. You can also use the AI chatbot to ask any question, get a copy of the transcript, and jump straight to the exact moment you’re asking about. If you ask something and the AI answers it, it even shows timestamps. Oh God, this is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The pricing isn’t easy to find. It’s been free for so long that I’m not sure how they’re making money. I’m worried that one day they’ll lock me out and suddenly charge $25. It feels a bit too good to be true in this day and age.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve stopped taking meeting notes and started focusing on the meeting itself. I no longer have to sit down days later and try to recall what the client said. Now I get project updates instantly, and I can search what was said on a call even a month later.

 ### 18. Reliable, Accurate, and Great Value with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael A. | Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

That it works reliably and accurately. It's pretty quick to get started and learn how to use, and the free tier allows you to properly trial the product in full, including their AI summary. Oh, I found the human support was exceptional too. Great value, even at their lower and free tiers.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

That the latest version of Fathom with the bot-free feature was working great on macOS Ventura for a few weeks... until it decided one day that Ventura was too old and decided to downgrade itself to the old version (without the bot-free feature) – this was something I was able to capture via screen recording and verify with the excellent support team.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple to use, accurate transcription and a useful summary that frees me to be present and focused in my meetings. Fantastic.

 ### 19. Simplifies Meetings, Frustrated by SSO

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Brand Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I find Fathom invaluable for recording meetings with our clients as well as internal meetings. Each Fathom recording acts as a source of truth for what was said during a meeting, eliminating inefficiencies that commonly arose afterwards. It's a simple way to check every question that comes up in the aftermath, like wondering what someone said about a project or confirming a timeline. I particularly appreciate how easy the initial setup was; the UX is intuitive and I never had to formally train anyone.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Constantly having to login through SSO is instantly and repeatedly annoying. Fathom is the only one that requires us to log in as much as it does. Every time another app asks for a fresh login, we have had to log in to Fathom 20x or more.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom as a source of truth for meetings, eliminating inefficiencies and providing a simple way to verify details without relying on human memory.

 ### 20. Accessible Meeting Notes with Action Items and an Easy-to-Use Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teddy C. | External Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I really like about Fathom is how accessible it is in terms of having it join a variety of meetings to take notes, both comprehensive and summarized. I use it primarily for Google Meets, and it has been great in keeping track of all of my meetings, determining key talking points from those meetings and provide action items as well.

Moreover, the interface is easy to use, you only need to click it to join your meeting. On another note, its performance is really great, as it keeps track of how much time someone is speaking. Pricing of Fathom is also attainable, though the free version is honestly already great in my opinion. They also have great customer support which will help you resolve any issues you may have when using the platform.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, I don't see anything that I dislike about Fathom, as I have been using it without hiccups at all.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who does a lot of corporate meetings, Fathom helps me to keep track of all of the insights and discussions mentioned during those meetings. This is especially relevant when I have team meetings, where there will be a variety of viewpoints from team members, and traditional note takers will have a hard time doing it.

By using Fathom, I keep my meeting notes organized, and I can easily share the meeting for archival purposes for my team members in case they need a copy of what happened.

 ### 21. A tool that makes client calls actually actionable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luisa G. | Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most about Fathom is how it turns client calls into structured, actionable summaries. As a lifecycle manager, it helps me keep track of feedback, priorities, and next steps without missing anything, which makes a big difference when managing multiple campaigns. I also like the integration with Slack, which makes collaboration way easier and seamless.

Also, the UI is super clean and easy to navigate, so it never feels like extra work to use itit just fits into my process. I also like how seamlessly it integrates with my meetings without needing a complicated setup.

Performance-wise, it’s been really reliable. The summaries come through quickly and are actually useful, not just generic notes. The AI does a great job pulling out key points, action items, and important context, which makes it way easier for me to manage follow-ups and keep campaigns aligned with what clients are asking for.

In terms of ROI, it’s a no-brainer for me. It saves me so much time on note-taking and helps me stay organized across multiple clients, which directly impacts how efficiently I can execute and communicate.
I didn’t need much support to get started because onboarding was pretty straightforward, but everything feels intuitive enough that you can just jump in and start using it right away.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes the summaries can miss a bit of nuance, especially in more detailed client conversations, so I still find myself double-checking certain points. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. And sometimes I have to manually enter the notetaker, but its not issue really.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the challenge of keeping track of multiple client conversations and turning them into actionable next steps. Instead of digging through notes or trying to remember details, I have everything structured and easy to reference, which makes managing campaigns and aligning with clients way more efficient. I also like the fact that it records the meeting and has the transcript that directly takes you to that part of the video. Its pure gold.

 ### 22. Unparalleled Note taker & Action Item Creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Collin A. | IT Systems Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s extremely perceptive when it comes to action items.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The UI layout is a bit weird for me. I also don't always receive a notification for a meeting that's about to begin, whether the app/extension is open or not.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our internal meetings can sometimes feel disorganized and scattered across too many topics. Fathom has helped keep me and our team on track by capturing clear action items in a digestible format, so I can put the pen and paper down and not worry about forgetting something we discussed.

It’s also been incredibly helpful when working with vendors. They may quote different pricing on a call than what shows up on the invoice, or say they’ll complete something and then never do. Fathom has consistently picked up on those situations accurately, and it’s been a real aid when we need to point out that we didn’t drop the ball.

 ### 23. Fathom Saves Hours with Excellent Task Summaries and Comprehensive Meeting Reports

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carl M. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom saves me several hours a week and allows me to go back and review the meeting for any questions. The way it outlines the tasks and who should perform the task is excellent. My clients are amazed when they get the comprehensive report at the end of each meeting. I keep each report in the client file and review the takeaways each time prior to the next meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only thing that I can think of is sometimes it will misinterpret a word or two if it is not common or with thick accents. Otherwise, I love everything about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps make the meetings more impactful in many ways. Action items are called out for each person that attends, and the next step help lead to the next meeting. I interact with 10-15 clients a day and you can sometimes get them confused. If I read through the Key takeaways real quickly, it helps me keep the client information straight. Super helpful.

 ### 24. Fathom Makes Meeting Summaries Effortless and Boosts Team Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana Luisa Y. | VP de Operaciones, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has been an extremely valuable tool for our team. It simplifies how we capture and revisit meetings by automatically producing accurate summaries, key takeaways, and action items. This has noticeably boosted our productivity and helps ensure that nothing important gets overlooked. The integration with video conferencing platforms is seamless, and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. Overall, it’s a dependable solution that saves time and strengthens collaboration across the team.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

So far, nothing to complain about at all. We’re very happy we moved to Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like how it turns conversations into useful, actionable information, with no more information loss. Fathom automatically generates summaries, key points, and action items, which helps reduce errors and misunderstandings.

It also solves the inefficiency of reviewing meetings. Rather than rewatching an entire recording, our team can jump straight to the key moments or read a summary in seconds, which saves a significant amount of time.

 ### 25. Effortless Meeting Summaries and Replays—Fathom Nails It

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vladislav M. | PHP Developer & NetSuite Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom makes it easy to create bullet points about what we discussed during the meeting and what needs to be done. I stopped taking notes during meetings once I started using Fathom. It’s also very useful because I can rewatch meetings if I need to find something specific, and Fathom makes that easy as well.

Performance, UI, and support are quite good. It integrates very easily with Outlook, and I’d say the AI does its job quite well.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

So far, I haven’t found anything about Fathom that I don’t like.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That makes planning and actually getting things done much easier. I don’t need to rethink what we were talking about, and I usually end up with a plan that’s pretty much ready to go.

 ### 26. Crisp AI Notes and Helpful Zoom Integration That Save Tons of Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddharth D. | Enterprise Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The AI-generated notes are crisp and clear. The UI’s video-with-transcript feature and the summary templates are both very helpful. The ability to highlight important sections during a meeting also improves the overall experience. Integration with Zoom makes it easier to keep track of all meetings. Overall, the time saved with this application is immense compared to manual note-taking.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The pricing is high for a regular user. the overall performance of the desktop app lags a bit and is sluggish at times. Once a meeting ended but the desktop app kept recording till the next morning. Had to close it manually. Unable to change passwords and username. if my company email is closed, i am unable to take away my notes for future use.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me records and transcript meetings which are hosted by others. It should not be limited to zoom or teams meeting. it should also record desktop audio for normal note taking and store those notes to apps like notion or local repository for easy access. everything to server can sometimes lead to not using the product

 ### 27. High-Quality Meeting Capture with Clear Notes, Action Items, and Highlights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Formatting of the Notes and Action Items; along with the ease of accessing highlights of the meeting for review or training. The AI provides quality capture of the meeting allowing our team to focus in the moment.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

We wish we could have Fathom not be utilizing it's own user window in meetings once we have consent to be recording. Plus the name on the screen formats horribly and diminishes professional appearance.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Single source of meeting notes/minutes is amazing to have; the portal is convenient repository; clarity of action items; remaining focused in the meeting instead of on note taking; all of Fathom collectively allows for less ancillary activities around internal standard meetings and external engagements for Sales or Strategic Relations.

 ### 28. Using Fathom has definitely changed my life!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuval D. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has completely transformed how I handle meetings. The AI summaries are incredibly accurate, and I love that I can stay fully present in the conversation without worrying about missing a detail. It’s seamless, fast, and the integration with my calendar is perfect. Highly recommended for any professional

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside is the desktop banner that appears at the start of every meeting. It feels a bit intrusive and clunky on the screen, and I wish there was a simpler way to minimize it or hide it permanently without it popping up every time.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the major problem of meeting fatigue and split focus. Instead of struggling to take notes while staying engaged, I can be 100% present in the conversation.

The biggest benefit is the time saved on post-meeting admin; the AI summaries and action items are incredibly accurate, allowing me to share recaps instantly. It has turned my meetings from stressful documentation sessions into productive, focused discussions.

 ### 29. Fathom Turns Every Meeting Into Clear Action and Follow-Through

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roca W. | Founder of Well & Good Myrtle Beach , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The ability to stay fully present in the conversation while Fathom captures accurate notes, summaries, and action items in the background. It removes the need to split attention between listening and documenting, and the post-meeting summaries make follow-ups and workflow execution immediate and structured.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Occasionally the summaries need light editing for nuance or context, especially in more complex or fast-moving conversations. It captures the structure well, but I’ll sometimes refine wording to better match intent or tone. That said, it still removes the majority of the manual work and significantly improves post-meeting clarity.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of losing key details, action items, and decisions during meetings. Instead of relying on manual notes or memory, it captures everything in real time and turns it into clear, structured summaries.

For me, that translates directly into better execution. I can move from conversation to action faster, keep workflows organized, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. It has improved how I manage operations, follow up with partners, and maintain consistency across a high volume of meetings without adding extra admin work.

 ### 30. A Huge Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel R. | Onboarding Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

How easy it was integrate it into my meeting links and how seamless it is to record my meetings and immediately have a detailed synopsis ready for me to review. And if I don't like the review that it gave or if I want it to explain the meeting differently, I can literally just ask it to and it will change it to my needs. Super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing that I really dislike at the moment. I'm currently trying to teach it my company's verbiage and terms so that it will automatically show up in my detailed review.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I host meetings and trainings daily and so the process of keeping up with everyone and everything that we talked about is almost impossible to recall 100%. With this tool, I now can teach the assistant what exactly I'm needing each meeting to be able to write out detailed notes or summaries for each of my clients. The hours I would spend each week just on documentation alone has been cut significantly since using this software. It's a game changer.

 ### 31. Fathom Makes Meeting Recaps Effortless with Reliable Notes, Transcripts, and Calendar Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I appreciate that Fathom syncs with my google calendar and allows me to launch meetings directly from the desktop App and the Key Takeaways, Topics, and Next Steps auto-generated by Fathom have helped streamline meeting recap note compilation. Having a reliable video recording/transcript available to reference right after a meeting has been extremely helpful in clearing up meeting ambiguity and possible missed or overlooked information. I have used Fathom for 10 meetings and its consistent performance and data integrity has been reliable. The simple, easy to use interface on the desktop app lets me quickly see what meetings I have scheduled and it also allows me to join them quickly. Finally, after my experience with other apps similar to Fathom, the free version has exceeded my expectations and meets almost all of my needs.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The expanded view when watching video recordings. I use chrome at an 80% zoom. From the regular and full-screen view, it is possible to select the other 2 views (regular or full-screen). However, when I am using the expanded view, I either have to zoom in or hide my taskbar to change views. Not a big issue, but I have had less technical members of my team complain that they "Can't exit the view" and they reload the page to get out of it...

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting recaps. I used to have to take live notes to capture topics and actionables. Often times, I have had to ask meeting participants to repeat what they said or to revisit topics to ensure that I captured everything correctly. That is no longer an issue. The Fathom App has saved so much time and prevented an immeasurable amount of wasted effort. It is also very useful when helping team members catch-up on topics and tasks covered during meetings they may have missed or verifying conflicting recounts of what was said or assigned.

 ### 32. The best AI assistant I've tried: superior to Otter, tl;dv, and Notion.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vladislav M. | Cofundador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

As a consultant managing multiple clients simultaneously, Fathom has become indispensable. What I highlight the most is its ability to ensure I don't miss a single detail from the sessions. I've tried practically everything on the market: Otter.ai, tl;dv, and even Notion's recorder, and Fathom wins by far. Its AI is, by far, the most accurate in defining new tasks and capturing the essence of the conversation.

It is, without a doubt, the best assistant on the market.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I really have very little to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be the lack of a direct native connection with Monday.com. Currently, I solve it by combining it with a bit of external automation (OpenClaw), but if they integrated Monday natively, the workflow would be perfect.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve the problem of "information overload" and the time wasted on post-meeting administrative tasks. It benefits me greatly in collaborative work: I can send accurate summaries to my clients and team immediately. The precision of its AI in extracting action items saves me hours of manual writing and ensures that we are all aligned after each video call.

 ### 33. Fathom’s Free Version Is a Game-Changer with Unmatched Transcript Accuracy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hrushikesh S. | Manager-MEL, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is a game-changer. The free version is incredibly robust, and the transcript accuracy blows other voice-to-text platforms out of the water—far fewer mistakes, which saves me a ton of time. The timestamps and transcripts have saved the day for me on multiple occasions, and I’m genuinely impressed by how many useful features they include completely for free. I also love being part of the BETA group and getting to see what they build next. Kudos to the team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I haven’t disliked anything about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t need to take meeting notes or track action items anymore. It directly sends the MOM and summary to participants, which saves me a ton of time.

 ### 34. Effortless Meeting Prep with Seamless Zoom & Google Meet Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derwin V. | Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really love how the app automatically prepares me for my next meeting. The initial setup is very easy, and you honestly don’t have to do anything else as long as the app is installed. The support I received when I needed it was amazing, they gave me exactly what I needed. I use it daily and it never fails. Even though the number of features depends on the plan, the purpose of the app is great, and it integrates perfectly with the tools we use, like Zoom or Google Meet.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There isn’t much I don’t like about Fathom. It’s basically a perfect app for its purpose, and it really does its job well. The only thing I’m not that fond of is the “Ask Fathom” option. For some reason, it doesn’t feel very intuitive to me, and it doesn’t seem that smart, although overall it still works fine.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes can be really annoying a lot of the time, and sometimes I just want to focus on the meeting. Having a notetaker running in the background is amazing, especially when there’s a lot to follow up on afterward.

 ### 35. Fathom Makes It Easy to Stay Focused and Review Key Points Later

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like best about Fathom is that I don't have to keep taking notes during online classes or project discussions. I can focus on what's being said and check the summary later if I forget something. I've used it a few times when working on assignments and it was helpful to quickly find points from earlier meetings instead of going through the full recording. It saves time and makes it easier to keep track of discussions.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

One thing I dislike about Fathom is that it feels more leaned toward office meetings than online classes or student project work. Because of that, some features aren't that useful for me. I've also noticed that the AI summaries can miss smaller details when the discussion moves quickly between topics. It's usually not a big problem, but I still check the transcript sometimes just to make sure I didn't miss anything important

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me avoid taking notes while attending online classes, project discussions, and study meetings. Instead of trying to keep up with both listening and writing, I can focus on the conversation and go through the summary afterward. The transcripts are also useful when I need to revisit something important without watching the entire recording again. It has saved me a good amount of time and made it easier to stay organized with assignments and group work.

 ### 36. Intuitive, Seamless Meeting Recording with Instant Recaps—Fathom Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J W. | Sr. Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

genuinely love using Fathom because of how intuitive and user‑friendly the platform is. When integrated with Microsoft Teams and Zoom, it seamlessly notifies me of upcoming scheduled meetings and automatically begins recording as soon as I join, which eliminates any extra steps or manual setup. One of Fathom’s standout features is the speed of its meeting recaps; they’re delivered almost immediately after the meeting ends, which is a huge improvement compared to similar platforms I’ve used in the past.
The value of Fathom’s free features is impressive, and the Ask Fathom AI tool is particularly efficient and helpful for quickly pulling insights and action items from meetings. Because of my positive experience, I’ve already recommended Fathom to others within my organization. I would absolutely continue using and advocating for the platform, and I would not hesitate to utilize its paid enterprise or business features should I move to an organization that is able to invest in a subscription.
Customer support has also been top-notch with troubleshooting a minor integration issue. I use Fathom almost daily for my scheduled meetings, especially interviews to create transcripts and track action items. Absolutely wonderful tool!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

no downsides to note. I have enjoyed using the platform for the past month.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of capturing and sharing candidate interview details accurately without distracting from the conversation. Its automatic recordings and fast, reliable transcripts allow hiring teams to review interviews asynchronously, align on candidate evaluations, and make informed decisions; saving time while improving consistency and collaboration in the hiring process.

 ### 37. Fathom Eliminates Manual Note-Taking and Keeps Notes Easy to Revisit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam H. | Operations Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

No manual note-taking is needed, which means I don’t make mistakes, and I can refer back to my notes at a later date.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I don’t have any dislikes when using Fathom. It works the way I need it to, and it does what I expect for my use.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps solve the problem of inefficient and unreliable meeting documentation. In many meetings, people either spend time taking notes (and end up missing parts of the conversation) or rely on memory afterward, which can lead to missed details, unclear action items, and weak follow-ups.

Fathom addresses this by automatically recording, transcribing, and summarising meetings, while also highlighting key points and action items in real time.

For me, this is valuable because it lets me stay fully engaged in the conversation instead of multitasking with note-taking. It also ensures nothing important is missed, since everything is captured and searchable. On top of that, it saves time on post-meeting admin by providing instant summaries and clear action points, and it improves follow-ups and accountability by keeping accurate records of decisions.

Overall, it increases productivity, reduces manual work, and helps turn meetings into clear, actionable outcomes.

 ### 38. Highly Customizable Auto-Recording That Keeps Me Fully Present in Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gen H. | Billing & Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The level of customization makes this a perfect tool no matter my role or industry, and the auto-record feature means I never forget to record a meeting. I don’t have to take notes anymore; I can simply be present during the conversation. Best of all, I can highlight key moments, add items to my to-do list, and categorize specific parts of the discussion in whatever way works best for me.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I’d really love it if this could integrate with my calendar, planner, or task list, so I can add items directly to my to-do list.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Never forgetting to transcribe a meeting, never having to page through notebooks to track down notes from a specific meeting, and being able to simply stay present in the conversation—this has been a massive time-saver and stress reducer, and it genuinely makes me better at my job.

 ### 39. Actionable Checklists, Replays, and Transcripts—A 10/10 Note-Taking App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I think my favorite part is definitely the action items being in the form of an actionable checklist that I can click on when it gets sent to my email. This specific feature is exactly one of the reasons why I chose to use fathom. It's so great that Claude recommended it over other note-taking apps. I can easily watch the replay and get the transcript and although I haven't used the AI feature yet, I'm pretty sure it's really cool.

I think anyone who likes to be as organized and probably has a little bit of OCD like me should absolutely go with this note taker. Also something worth mentioning is that it has little to no errors with action items and takeaways, which is a struggle that I've had with other note-taking apps. Really great product

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly there's nothing to dislike. 10/10 note-taking app!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting proper action items, I get my recap really fast, unlike other note-taking apps, and it's really easy to add to impromptu meetings

 ### 40. Best-in-Class AI Meeting Transcription with Effortless Zoom Recaps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raymond F. | Provider Success Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom turns what would otherwise be a slog of daily meetings into actionable, task-driven recaps. The AI transcription is the best I've seen to date, and not only catches the small details but ensures that everyone on the meeting has what they need to know. By integrating it into Zoom you don't even have to think about it - just add the notetaker to your call and get the recap delivered to your inbox. The desktop app is non-obtrusive and sits quietly in the corner of your screen with all functions accessible.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Getting permissions setup across multiple accounts can be a bit of a chore, as well as occasional hiccups when attending meetings outside your professional network. Support is quick to respond with to questions asked though, so not a massive hit.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom allows me to be fully present in the moment with every meeting and call, without feeling like I need to be constantly taking notes or putting together after-action reports. It's the App with the performance of both a stenographer and a videographer.

 ### 41. Excellent, Non-Intrusive Meeting Notes with Timestamp Links and HubSpot Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** liam b. | Head of CX & People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that its quietly there when you need it to be but its not trying to be the main charachter. It's not invasive like some other ai meeting products i've tried in the past where they start meetings before you're ready or send out emails continually reminding people about the meeting.
The quality of the meeting notes and follow up points are excellent. I can fully focus on my meeting and what I and the other patricipants are saying, and have full faith that i'll be able to refer to my fathom notes for any follow up points. I LOVE that the meeting notes are hyperlinked to the timestamps in the recording too. this is fantastic for reviewing complex points that have been discussed. I also like that it integrates with Hubspot so i can always see what the last meeting with a client was whether it was me or anyone else on my team that hosted it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside is that fathom has to join as a participant in the meeting, and if multiple colleagues join who also use fathom we end up with multiple note takers on the call but this feels like a small trade-off for the benifits we get.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can fully focus on my meeting and give my clients my full attention rather than trying to jot down notes from our calls.

**Official Response from Alyssa Edelman:**

> We heard you - bot-free capture is now live! No extra participants, just great notes. Check out everything that's new here: https://www.fathom.ai/whats-new 🎉

 ### 42. Fathom Saves Time with Clear Summaries and Seamless HubSpot Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thanish N. | Service Delivery Specialist - GEEKS, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom really helps me stay on top of meetings without worrying about taking notes. It captures everything clearly and gives simple, useful summaries, which makes follow-ups much easier. I also use the HubSpot integration, and it’s very helpful since it keeps everything updated automatically in our CRM. The pricing is also very good for the value it provides. Overall, it saves time and makes my workflow much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, nothing so far. It’s been working really well for my use case.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of missing details in meetings and spending time on manual note-taking. It automatically captures and summarizes everything, which helps me stay focused during calls. It makes follow-ups much easier, keeps things organized, and with the HubSpot integration, all updates go straight into the CRM. Overall, it saves time and improves how I manage tasks after meetings.

 ### 43. Fathom’s Structured Notes Keep Me Focused and Make Follow-Ups Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom’s note taking has been a huge help for me. It does an excellent job of capturing meetings clearly and organizing everything in a way that is easy to review afterward. The notes are structured really well, so I can quickly understand what was discussed, what feedback was shared, and what action items need attention.

One of the biggest upsides is that I do not have to spend meetings trying to take my own notes. Instead, I can stay fully focused on the conversation, listen more closely, and be more present in the meeting itself. That has made a real difference. Overall, it has saved me time, reduced stress, and made follow up much easier.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing that I can see yet...I dont have issues

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is solving a real problem for me because it is genuinely hard to take notes and stay fully focused on a meeting at the same time. As a small business owner, I wear a lot of hats, and I do not have the luxury of having someone else in the room capturing notes, tracking action items, and organizing follow up for me. Before using Fathom, part of my attention was always split between listening carefully and trying to document everything, which meant I was not always as present as I wanted to be. Fathom takes that pressure off. It allows me to stay engaged in the conversation, ask better questions, and actually listen, while still knowing I will have clear, organized notes afterward. That has been a huge benefit because it saves me time, reduces stress, and helps me leave meetings with a much stronger sense of clarity about what was said and what needs to happen next.

 ### 44. Fathom + HubSpot Recaps and Auto-Tasks Make Virtual Meetings Run Smoother

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle U. | Partner Success Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I meet with a lot of people and talk about similar topics. I like the recap and we have Fathom integrated with HubSpot. It creates tasks for me based on the meeting notes. The live data that it shares regarding talking time is helpful to keep in mind. Fathom has made me a better vitual meeting organizer.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes the tasks it creates in Hubspot need some tweaking but I would rather edit a task than worry it was missing something.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It assures me that the data I collected is correct and the follow-up items that I promised, will be documented. A lot of my conversations are around numbers and with Fathom, I always get the right information to reference back to. I can also send the recording to my clients so they know exactly what was covered.

 ### 45. Fathom Transformed Client Meetings with Accurate Summaries and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SILVESTRE C. | FullStack Developer, University Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has transformed how I run client discovery meetings. The AI-generated summaries and automatic action item detection save me at least 30–45 minutes per meeting — I no longer spend time writing notes
or chasing follow-ups. The transcripts are remarkably accurate even in Spanish and with mixed-language conversations, which is critical for my work in LATAM.

The UI is clean and intuitive — I was up and running the same day with zero onboarding friction. The meeting highlights feature was an unexpected win: I can share a timestamped clip directly with clients
to confirm what was agreed, which has eliminated the "but we said X" back-and-forth entirely.

It integrates seamlessly with Google Meet and the recordings are instantly available after the call. For the price, the ROI is undeniable — it essentially pays for itself the first time it saves you from a
miscommunication with a client.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside I experienced was with the Windows app, but they’ve really improved it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Fathom, my biggest issue was losing context. After a busy week of client meetings, important details would slip through the cracks, and I’d end up relying on incomplete notes or my memory to piece together what we’d agreed on. That’s a real risk when you’re managing multiple projects at the same time.

Fathom fixes this for me. Every discovery session, requirements meeting, and client call is automatically recorded, transcribed, and summarized, and I can search any conversation again in seconds. The AI also pulls out action items that map directly to my follow-up tasks, so nothing gets missed.

The biggest benefit has been client trust. When there’s any ambiguity around scope or agreements, I can pull up the exact transcript or a clip and resolve it immediately. In consulting and software development, that kind of documentation is invaluable. It’s also made onboarding new team members much easier, since they can review past client calls to get up to speed without me having to brief them manually.

 ### 46. Smart, User-Friendly Meeting Assistant with Top-Notch Transcripts and Action Items

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The user interface is very well put together and not over informative.

I love that it records the audio and key points of the video.

The actions items list is an excellent feature

The Key Takeaways, Topics, and Next Steps section is awesome is incredibly helpful. It almost does all of the work for you! I'm surprised little Fathom robot hands don't come out to give you a foot massage, while being your own personal assistant.

The section listing my questions and other questions is an excellent reminder of what to follow-up on.

The integration of Teams makes it a great tool to organize my day.

The overall performance is top-notch. The speech recognition is great! It recognizes my southern accent so much better than the stupid robots that can't understand me on the phone when I ask to speak to a real person.

Pricing is certainly competitive and reasonable.

The customer support has been excellent!

It's also one of the smartest tools I've used. I really wish I would have had it decades ago.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I had issues a couple of times where it wouldn't open the meeting. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My memory sucks and it makes me look like I'm a memory genius!

 ### 47. Fathom Makes Meetings Effortless with Clear Summaries, Action Items, and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like best about Fathom is how smoothly it fits into my meeting workflow. I have been using it for both internal and client meetings, and it saves a lot of time by automatically capturing clear transcripts, summaries, action items, takeaways, and key topics discussed.
The UI is easy to navigate, so I can quickly find recordings, review meeting notes, and share them with others when needed. I also like that the summaries are structured well, especially the way action items and next steps are assigned to specific people. That makes follow-up much easier after meetings.
From an integration standpoint, Fathom has worked well with tools like Microsoft Teams and Confluence, which makes it easy to connect meeting insights with our existing documentation and collaboration process. I have not run into any major performance issues so far, and the recordings and transcripts have been reliable.
The AI is one of the strongest parts of the tool. It does more than just transcribe the conversation; it understands the discussion well enough to organize notes into useful sections like action items, decisions, takeaways, and topics addressed in detail. I especially like that it can identify next steps and associate them with the right people, which makes the output immediately useful instead of just being a raw transcript.
Overall, Fathom provides strong value because it reduces manual note-taking, improves meeting follow-through, and helps keep everyone aligned after internal and client discussions.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of having to manually take detailed notes during meetings while also trying to actively participate in the conversation. I use it for both internal and client meetings, and it helps me stay focused on the discussion instead of worrying about capturing every important point.

It also solves the issue of missed follow-ups. The AI-generated summaries clearly capture action items, takeaways, key topics discussed, and next steps assigned to specific people. This makes it much easier to track ownership and follow through after the meeting.

Another major benefit is that recordings and transcripts are easy to access, navigate, and share. This is helpful when I need to revisit a client conversation, confirm a decision, or share context with someone who could not attend the meeting.

Overall, Fathom saves time, improves accountability, keeps meeting documentation organized, and helps ensure internal and client discussions turn into clear next steps.

 ### 48. Three weeks in and I'm a fan - Recorded Calls, Instant Minutes, Seamless HubSpot Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy F. | VP Strategic Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like the fact that the video conference is recorded and the meeting minutes and actions are extracted all sent to me right after the call and then our HubSpot CRM is automatically updated also. First time I heard of Fathom was only a few weeks ago when a friend invited me in to help with some business development for his new venture but I would recommend it whole heartedly.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

So far, there is no downside after three weeks of use. The control pane that pops up as soon as Fathom starts addresses some of the pain points I have had with similar solutions.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auto minutes, actions, and auto CRM updates are my minimum expectations in the current age, and Fathom addresses them succinctly.

 ### 49. Fast, High-Quality Summaries in One Easy Page—Best AI Notetaker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that it has the video, key takeaways, summary, and transcript all on one, easy to navigate, page. The quality of the summaries is really good. It's also amazing (everytime!) how FAST it is. I love that I can share the links with others, so they can review, and I can refresh myself on calls. The "Ask Fathom" feature is also amazing. It's the best AI Notetaker on the market today.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I am not sure sometimes that it is ON, but I click through on the app, and can see it quietly working. I haven't "missed" recording a meeting yet! I also feel like the branding is hyper masculine--not the biggest deal, but something I observed.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom reminds me of past calls so I can look like the person who remembers everything when I speak to a client again!

 ### 50. Amazing Premium Features, Unlimited Recording, and Helpful Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The premium features are amazing, but what I like best is that its free account still serve its functions though at a "less amazing"ways. But still it is very functional and works very well with me. I have already recommended it to my colleagues. I like the unlimited recording and the summary it can generate.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing actually. I had a bit of a struggle with the recording after the premium trial but was able to figure it out eventually. All good. However, I think there is room for improvement on the layout of the page showing the video and the summary underneath it. I can't scroll and see enough lines for me to read continuously. Improvement is welcome, but no big deal really.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is giving me the recordings and summary I need during meetings. It definitely takes a load off taking notes and writing the minutes. especially at no cost.
