What do you like best about Klaviyo?

Klaviyo is straightforward for day-to-day email work. The template builder is clean, and it doesn’t take long to set up simple campaigns or pop-ups. Ease of implementation was surprisingly smooth — I had forms and basic flows running pretty quickly. I also appreciate that most features work out of the box without extra integrations. What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

Some areas of the UI feel a bit cluttered, especially when managing segments or lists. Certain items have to be removed one by one (similar to profiles), which slows down cleanup. Support is mainly email-based and handled through their virtual assistant — there’s no real live chat, so responses can feel delayed when you need quick help. What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I use Klaviyo for its ease of use and full customizability. The drag-and-drop editor for emails is extremely intuitive, allowing me to build out an email or email template within minutes. This feature lets us create email pages that look professionally made with little to no experience. The UI is very similar to the Shopify theme customizer. I also appreciate that the initial setup was extremely easy; I downloaded the app in Shopify, and it took me through the setup process in just a few steps with a wizard. What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

I would prefer that my Klaviyo back end loads right in Shopify. Every time I use it I have to navigate off the site and do a two factor login. I would love it if it was combined with my Shopify account and was always logged in there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I really like Klaviyo for its simplicity of use and very intuitive workflows. It's great how you can segment lists and choose to use one of Klaviyo’s email templates or create a custom one. The analytics and benchmarks provided for both my company and our industry are very helpful for stakeholders. The segmentation of lists makes it easy to automate flows, and the smart sending feature ensures we're not spamming our audience. The initial setup was very quick, and the team at Klaviyo was incredibly helpful, making settings very easy to use. The setup of SMS was efficiently handled by the Klaviyo team. What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I use Klaviyo for Email and SMS sends as well as automated marketing. Klaviyo solves the problem of email marketing and SMS sending. By hosting all of our contacts, it makes it easy to set up automations for emailing and SMS for new customers and established customers. I think Klaviyo's ease of sending communication is great. It's not overwhelming and is very user-friendly. I love the automations and the ease in which to set them up. It was very easy to transfer information or automations. I really appreciate Klaviyo's automation scope, which is great for my small business as it helps with simple setups without needing an ecommerce manager or a coder. It serves as a fantastic thought starter tool for ideation on content for triggered flows and newsletters. The platform's insights are easy to read and quick to act upon, making it very helpful. What stands out to me is how much time it saves me, as it's a tool that lets a non-ecommerce expert run it effectively. Setting it up was extremely easy, contributing to my positive experience. What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I like Klaviyo for how tightly it connects customer behavior to action. It lets me quickly turn real-time data into lifecycle flows that drive repeat purchases and long-term LTV. It removes the gap between insight and execution, because everything is connected, like data, segmentation, flows, and reporting. I can measure impact clearly and iterate fast. Previous teams I've worked with switched to Klaviyo from more limited email platforms because it offered stronger insights and actionable options. It made it easier to act on customer behavior and tie email/SMS directly to retention, LTV, and revenue growth. What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

One area for improvement is deeper native retention reporting, especially around cohort analysis, LTV forecasting and attribution across flows and campaigns. While Klaviyo is strong operationally, I still rely on external tools or exports for more advanced lifecycle insights. I find Klaviyo incredibly flexible and it integrates really well into our other systems, especially with Shopify, which we use for our website platforms. The user experience can be a little glitchy when editing the emails. The email editing portion of Klaviyo isn't the greatest, copying and pasting text can be a little bit of an issue. It just modifies the text in terms of color, font, etcetera. It doesn't offer a ton of unique options either. It's really kind of pick a template or create a template.
