**What do you like best about Workday Benefits?**

I appreciate the clean and intuitive design of Workday Benefits, as well as the comprehensive range of features that let me manage tasks independently, without needing to reach out to HR or management. The ability to conveniently track my pay and how it is distributed matters a lot to me, and I also value how effortless it is to update my account numbers whenever I need to.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

I have a hard time logging in when I'm off property due to the dual authentication process, which makes things more complicated. Additionally, I find it confusing to determine how to select the correct PTO hours when I want to request a day off. The initial setup was acceptable, but it felt tedious since I had to create one password and then set up a new one afterward.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on Workday Benefits for my daily operations, such as managing PTO, handling direct deposits, and updating my benefits. It streamlines these tasks, allowing me to take care of them myself without having to reach out to HR.

I use Workday Benefits for healthcare, dental care, and child care, which are offered through my job. I think it's convenient because I can rely on these benefits if I can't find healthcare elsewhere or I'm staying with my current job. I like that Workday Benefits allows me to get dental coverage without needing a separate provider.

The initial setup of Workday Benefits can be complex. I have to verify my information and search for the right plan that’ll suit my needs.

It’s super easy to use. I like that everything’s in one place and the step-by-step guidance during enrollment makes the process way less stressful. Comparing plans and seeing the costs upfront is really helpful too.

Sometimes it feels a bit clunky, especially when trying to go back and change something. It’s not always clear where to find certain info without clicking around a lot.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies the whole benefits enrollment process by putting everything in one place. I don’t have to email HR or dig through PDFs—I can view, compare, and manage all my benefits on my own, which saves time and cuts down on confusion.

What is not to like here in workday? Any established company uses workday for HR and finance operations. Easy access and retainment of Information.

Some applications within it are finicky, IE time keeping corrections.  I still haven't figured it out.

Workday is easy to use. It is very well integrated with the company policies and benefits. I can track my leaves, apply leaves, see my reveiws and do many more. I have not reached out to their customer support, that speaks for itself that how great the tool is. This tool is frequestly used in my company for all the benefits covered.

Dont see any dislikes. The tool is great.

Honestly, I hadn't found things I disliked regarding the benefits Workday offers. It can only improve from hereon. The processes and the search option to find different benefits will probably need to improve a bit more.

Since we use Workday for Payroll its an easy user experience to also have benefits and benefits elections in workday.

One form solution is highly recommended. There are details sections as well as attachments, all contained in one simple form.

Maybe the most time-consuming part might be a sign-up or user account creation. this page needs to be short and quick to go through and probably the verification process can be simplified.

It is solving the problem of complex forms and the multi-page form that is being created and needs to be fulfilled and most of them are compulsory.  This creates te unnecessary information entering and  being kept in databases, including all the names, DOB, and addresses etc.

There isn't really anything I like about workday benefits. I do believe Workday could be a powerful program but it is not user friendly and only creates frustration.

Everything. You can't build reports yourself, you have to go through the administrator. When working with several locations, this is a huge hassle and takes way too much time.

Nothing. I just don't like it and can't wait to NOT use it any longer. This is the worst HRIS I have ever used and I would not recommend it to anyone. Sorry but this is my truth.

Workday portal can be more user friendly or more updated in comparison to other global tools in presence, since it's seems to be more of a old version type, but still no complaints because of that.

Search bar not very helpful for finding items e.g. pay slips. I also would like more of expansion/collapse feature for navigation. Too much presented on same screen for payslips for example.

The Single login for payroll, TimeOff, Performance reviews, and other employee tools is a definite plus.

Flow for applying a time off. There is no good way to keep track of timeoff left while applying. And tracking of applied timeoff's is a bit confusing
Performance reviews flow is also a bit complicated by not pointing to issues when on page and having to come back to fix on submission.

We use it to manage out timeoffs with the whole process from applying to approval on Workday
Also have performance reviews on workdays which flows through the provided hierarchy for approvals.

The features I appreciate the most about Workday are in the design of the main page, everything is located in one place, and easy sign-on compatibility. How it compares to other software benefits companies is the simplicity of its design.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

The least unhelpful feature is the confusion with the login. I work at two different companies that both use Workday and I have to have two different logins. I am assigned two different employee ID's and I wish there was a way to have a click-down menu of the different corporations I work for, instead of having separate entities. It is evening frustrating when I lock myself out of the app and I have to contact my administration. It is a daunting and unnerving task.

The benefits I have realized that solve my problems is the ability to view my paycheck and W2 forms. I am more productive because of being allowed to have access to these documents without risking the loss of information.

I like how Workday gives the user several options to view information their personal information. Within the main menu, the user will automatically view each section as a summary. And if the user wants to view each section in-depth, they have the opportunity to do so by selecting each sub-catagory seperately.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

The thing I dislike is navigation through Workday. Sometimes It isn't easy to navigate throughout Workday. And it can sometimes take a few minutes to locate what selection you want. Then it becomes easy to find the information you seek once you choose the correct selection from the main menu.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Often, the confusion arises from the mislabeling of the selections within the main menu. I recommend choosing the most logical title carefully or selecting the word used most often to identify each section on the main page after log-in. This consideration will significantly decrease the frustration of those using Workday and help increase the efficiency of those using the program. Overall, Workday has benefits if used effectively. One such benefit is having all Human Resource data available in one location kept private by log-in credentials only.

You can have all your benefits and employee status, compensation, everything all in one place. If you get the additional add ons you can even have your paycheck, goals in there as well. Essentially this is the only program you would need to do anything HR related.

Other programs may have extra features that workday does not have yet, however don't let that deter you. This program is scalable for large organizations as well. It's great for employees since they know this is the only tool, and they just need one username and password to get into everything they need—no need to call HR for every question.

Human capital management. This tool helps HR to manage and streamline all HR needs in one place, including HR management, employee status, benefits, HR planning, employee engagement, and analytics needed from employees to serve your company better.

Make sure your HR Team really understands how to use it because they make all the difference if you have any questions or need support. My HR team was v ery helpful!

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

I would prefer if my company had all this information (payslips, all the benefits, expenses) in only one place. Workday is only used for payslips.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a way to check my payslips and the truth is that it is easy to use, but I don't find it relevant as it misses a lot of the information I would expect to find here.

**What do you like best about Workday Benefits?**

The layout used tiles and is very straightforward. Everything you need easily located by a straightforward image. When creating a benefits site, simple is always better so it works for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

The tiles they use are nice, but due to the lack of colors and selection of images, they start to blend together. Add more defining tiles but just don't overdo it. The simplicity is nice but it needs a bit more work.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Benefits:**

Let the users poke around first as the tiles should be intuitive enough to use.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When employees visit a benefits portal it's because they have a very specific need in mind. Workday Benefits lays out tiles nicely in a way that employees will actually click through other tiles as well. This integrates a layer of discovery other sites do not, leading to some questions being self found and answered.

I like how maneuvering through the application Is very easy to do. Most often times when using an application you have to read through paragraphs just to get to a destination.

Just like any other application you go through moments where it might freeze and you have to start all over so reentering information were missing something can sometimes affect the flow of things

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Benefits:**

Workday helps to carry out day-to-day Business Integrity and accuracy. It helps to have a more realistic outlook on what's happening regardless of what happened today tomorrow or even a week from now. It's nice to have real updates that keep you in the loop as things change from a technology perspective

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll management and other benefits have undergone some changes and it has been helpful. Talent tracking and time management are also really helpful especially when you run a team of 50 or more.

I like the summary page of the benefits, as it lays out all benefits, dependents, and costs.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

I dislike that there is not a workflow walking me through each benefit. I recommend this type of software to clients, and I do not like most of the Workday Benefits Administration module. The UI of each benefit plan is clunky looking, and, compared with competitors, it has multiple steps to click through. Benefits Administration platforms meant for small businesses does a much better job with the workflow, UI of each plan, information within, organization of each page, and easy-to-find links and related documents.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization has put benefits administration with the other modules we utilize, so there are fewer systems to log into. That is the only benefit I have seen.

Some of the control pages are overly complex and it's not clear exactly what fields need to be changed and why.

I like how the inbox is located at the main dashboard and has all of our unread/unfinished messages. I like the Shortcuts button because it helps me get to where I need to go faster.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

It isn't easy to find where to request Paid Time Off. Putting PTO under "Absences" isn't clear. Then when you finally find the tab, it's confusing having to input "Start Time" and "End Time" instead of just saying that you'll be taking the full (8 hour) day off.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a centralized place where employees can access information about their benefits. It is where HR can send out essential tasks such as signing company acknowledgments.

**What do you like best about Workday Benefits?**

Workday does what it says on the tin. I can view my paychecks, handle open enrollment, and submit time off in a way that makes intuitive sense, without any funky errors or confusing workflows.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

The user interface is not great. It's a classic case of slightly dated, annoying design with tables and buttons and dropdown menus in places that don't make sense. Plan for it to take 2 minutes longer than it should for you to find what you need.

Workday saves our HR team time fielding questions and sorting through expenses. It's a centralized place for employees to handle most benefits arrangements via self-serve.

I like how all categories are grouped together on the homepage and that I can access the app from my phone.

Overall, Workday is not as intuitive/easy to navigate as ADP was. I think the clock-in/clock-out and time features could be improved, along with the absence balance calculations - they don't update after future PTO has been approved.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to keep track of my weekly timesheet, PTO/absences and have links to all HR benefits. There was a learning curve switching from ADP, and overall I feel like I waste more time trying to find what I'm looking for, but it's manageable.

The UI is straightforward for everyone. Like most UIs these days, it works off tiles but does it better than the rest. This is so useful for employee benefits which has so many options.

When searching for people, there are no quick peeks or hover details. You need to click in to each user. The lack of this basic functionality is quite time consuming.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Benefits:**

Compared to the look and feel of other similar tools used for other companies, Workday had the fastest ramp time.

**What problems is Workday Benefits solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The layout of the UI is so clean that the training is near minimal. The benefits realized is that everyone can use the tool with little questions so the focus quickly moves to wish related questions rather than technical support.

Benefits are very straightforward, whether within your outlined open enrollment period, changing something outside of open enrollment, or simply viewing your available benefits.

**What do you dislike about Workday Benefits?**

The only true complaint I had was simply having to learn a brand new system. The transition was as seamless as it could be!

It has been very eye-opening to show people (especially new hires) all of the benefits available to them. It is one thing to casually mention a benefit in the hiring process, but to be able to demonstrate how to assign beneficiaries, add funds to your HSA, and many other possibilities, it really hits home.

All in one platform, if your company size is more than 200 -300 employees, you can use workday for all your administration purpose. it can use globally

HR will have all in one view for all its employees; mail can be triggered to all and will go by workday. Hence it is a beneficial tool to communicate internally.
