**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

Our sites are hosted with generally no issues with uptime whatsoever. WPEngine has consistently provided excellent support and hosting services and has thoroughly assisted us with several issues that we have had.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

My only honest complaint is the support chat no longer makes a sound when you are not actively tabbed into the window anymore, making it easy to miss updates from the support chat if you are, say, working on another task while talking to them.

**What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WPEngine has solved the problem of us having to manage hundreds of websites across several servers. The systems make it incredibly easy to manage, review, and update over 600 sites of ours.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

I like its ability to connect with git actions  for smooth deployments . Also, I like the way it treats clone into staging and dev environments

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

The CPU or Disk load can not be visible from Dashboard , always need to be connected with support team for this

I appreciate WP Engine's easiness to manage production, staging, and GitHub, which really helps streamline operations. The support is a standout, with the technical team being awesome. The initial setup was good, and I like that the UI is good as well.

The support team is amazing! The truly go above and beyond any support team I have had to deal with.

Too many pricing add-ons and the inability to have a blueprint site to use for all new installs.

We using them as our agency hosting provider. They have really stepped up big with the Page Speed Boost plugin. It works magic on improving site performance in a few clicks!

Customer service, scalability, and the evolving product suite.

Price points for the dedicated servers (that come with tier-tied products) are financially out of reach for most of the SMBs we support.

**What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The managed hosting component of WPE's product suite is a game changer for my agency. We are relatively small with limited resources and knowing that our client sites are protected from malware or other types of vulnerabilities, are going to be monitored from performance optimization and infrastructure updates is extremely reassuring.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

Customer Support and ease of use are key components of a great business tool. Since the website is used every day - making sure that the hosting is both reliable and secure is critical. It easily integrates with our other tools, and provides the best number of standard features of any host we have used.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

Like all WordPress sites, this can be a technical beast. WP Engine adds a layer of tools for developers and training for selling sites, that are not set up for a single sign-on, which is a little annoying.

**What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have not had a single major website issue since moving to WP Engine. Our last hosting company was a disaster and we had hacks, and viruses, every 90 - 120 days...

The admin center is really user-friendly, and I can’t complain about the uptime.

It’s relatively expensive compared to other hosting providers, especially once you need higher plans or add‑ons

The support is probably our favorite thing. And we really appreciate the relationships we have with our account managers.

The only thing I don't like is the cost but really we're getting a good value for what we pay.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

Previous Response: I genuinely believed WP Engine was the best hosting company on the planet. I used to rave about their performance, reliability, and support — and to be fair, their hosting infrastructure was excellent. Speed, uptime, and technical stability were never an issue. It’s what made the eventual termination of my account all the more disappointing.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

Previous Response: After nearly a decade with WP Engine, I was shocked when they terminated my account over three forged legal documents without conducting proper verification. I reached out directly to the former owner and acting CEO, explained the situation, and even referenced our feature in The New York Times and a recent Bloomberg documentary exposing the same individual behind the fraudulent complaints. Despite this, they showed no interest in the facts or defending a long-standing customer. Their unwillingness to investigate or support me during this attack was deeply disappointing.

**What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WP Engine provided solid hosting and, on occasion, helped mitigate denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. However, those moments often came with delays and friction. Now that my primary website is protected by Google Project Shield, I’ve seen how seamless and proactive real protection can be. Compared to that, WP Engine’s response to threats always felt like a temporary fix rather than a long-term solution.

  ### 16. Advanced Customs Fields is a must!

The customization of the product is only limited by the user's creativity. The included features cover nearly every need I had. Customer support was extremely fast to find a solution for my needs and was very helpful.

The learning curve can be steep for someone with less experience but the content is organized in a way that is easy to remember once the user's skills develop.

Advanced Custom Fields is almost required to have a stylish and functional Wordpress site. ACF helps me save time in designing my websites and ensures a uniform look across them.

WP Engine takes all the server and security headaches off my plate. I don’t have to worry about updates breaking sites, backups failing, or performance issues. From seamless site management to top-tier performance, they make complex hosting feel like a walk in the proverbial WordPress park. The platform itself is intuitive, beautifully designed, and robust—like a Swiss Army knife in a tailored suit.

We use WP Engine daily—like, caffeine-level frequency. Whether we’re staging a new site, syncing updates, or running backups, it’s all frictionless. Integrations? A dream. From CDN setup to third-party tools, everything just... works. Like IKEA furniture, but without the leftover screws and existential despair.

But the real MVPs? Their support team. Our account managers are prompt, personable, and practically psychic. Whether it’s a rogue plugin tantrum or a mysterious 500 error at 2 AM, their support staff handle it with grace, speed, and a healthy dash of good humour. I really appreciate the clear, user-friendly dashboard that makes managing multiple client websites a breeze. The layout is intuitive and the clean design helps me navigate all the essential features without getting lost. Additionally, their tech support is great! They are pretty fast to respond in support chat, and their support people mostly know what they are doing. Nice.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

One thing I dislike about WP Engine is their tendency to upsell additional services that our clients don’t really need. Sometimes, the upsell emails are framed in a way that makes it seem like there's an issue with the site that needs to be addressed, setting off an unnecessary alarm for clients who then contact us with their concerns.

My favorite part of WP Engine is definitely how smooth they make staging and launching sites. The automatic backups are also a plus, they've saved me many times.

The only downsides to WP Engine are the cost. It's not the cheapest hosting, but it is worth the money.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

Updating sites is brutally simple and streamlined allowing me to update our 100+ sites without logging into a single site unless there are issues updating a particular plugin. Support is very good and responsive with either chat or calls. Copying and creating sites is also staggeringly simple.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

The only complaint I can think of is that it can be unwieldy when trying to navigate to a particular site within WPE when you have 100+ sites. I realize we likely aren't the norm with that number of sites, though.

WP Engine Support is an extension of my IT team which is very beneficial.

We can manage multiple WP sites in one place, and we can manage the access control of the user/collaborators of the sites, backup/restore options.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

They have a very friendly dashboard to manage all your sites, with a couple of free tools that will help you on your sites.
We use WPengine to deploy several stores and they are running correctly. We can administrate those all sites easily and fast.
Our first stores were deployed very fast in a couple of clicks. It's ideal for startups that want to go online fast.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

If you use the cheapest plans, you share servers with other customers. This can cause your performance to have a negative impact due to the traffic from the other sites. We had to change servers because of that and we will upgrade our plan to have dedicated servers to avoid that problem.

They solve the problem of managing servers to deploy WordPress/WooCommerce based stores. Now we can focus on delivering sites and not on managing an infrastructure.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

WPEngine provides the best 24/7 technical support I have ever seen. Their plugin updating add on saves me at least 8-10 hours of work a month. The DNS settings are easy to use and they integrate with many domain providers. The ease of implementation with different URLs was such a great experience. I created one site and then easily pointed our different domains to the main site. It was seamless and the one issue I had, the 24/7 support walked me through it. As for frequency of use, I'm on WP Engine at least 4-5 times a week making updates.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

Honestly, I don't have anything I've found in over 3 years of use that I dislike. WPEngine takes on your advice as a user and is always finding ways to make the site easier to use.

The ease of backups, the SSL having no cost, and the integration with WordPress and PHP are seamless.

**What do you like best about WP Engine?**

I like that WPEngine backs up everything for you every day, that you can back it up manually at any time, the fact that you can restore and feel safe about having it restored to any point. The support is amazing as well, as good as the Apple Support. The research as well. I participated in two research video calls and I was more than happy to give my input and experience.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

There is not much to dislike about it. The design is good but it is not as responsive as you might think. The confusion between Flywheel and WpEngine. I know they merged, but that is still going on.

It solves everything. Hosting, backing up, restoring. It's all handled by WpEngine so you don't have to worry about it. Buying from random host and trying to mix the hosts would be a nightmare, but WpEngine makes it easy.

The best support that I have experienced in the industry. Nothing even comes close. Their team is always prompt to respond and usually goes above and beyond in their solutions.

The overall product is what you'd expect - managed WordPress and WooCommerce hosting. The dashboard is easy to navigate and utilizing the Staging and Development environments for each instance is simple enough.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

Entry-level pricing is still competitive, but enterprise options can be atrociously expensive. Depending on your situation, the price just may not be worth it, but if you can afford it their services and support are absolutely top-notch.

**What problems is WP Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, WP Engine makes it easy to manage and access a catalog of WordPress sites that our organization currently has in its portfolio. Their dashboard makes it easy to monitor each site individually and the SSO to each site make it seamless to get into the WordPress admin side for each individual site.

We wish it had Cpanel for file mgmt. Its the only reason we dont use it on 100% of all of our client projects. We would use it 100% of the time if it did have that option.

The acceleration of 0 to 60. The start of a project is super fun because we can get it going asap with WPE. No BS just hit the ground running. Love that!!

It is used for hosting and backups across the board. Our task is to oversee the routine updating of backups of customer websites. The functions that help us create and structure websites, as well as its ability to move data quickly and expeditiously, make it a very effective and robust solution for our company. Their technical support is quite good.

Users of the tool would benefit from receiving an e-mail whenever a major change occurs. With this feature, users would be able to receive information about new features and options.

It takes the pressure off of us to ensure that our clients' websites are safe from harm by regularly backing them up automatically. Making daily backups is the best way to protect the confidentiality of your data. Always have a backup plan ready to go. The hosting seems OK, but haven't really had the chance to use it yet.

Their local development app ate my website and from what I can read has frequent bugs that impact core functionality.

I tried to push from local to development and found out there was a recently released bug that was breaking this. Downloaded an update that was supposed to fix it, and my local site was missing a lot of data from the db. I have used other dev ops apps on Drupal and other platforms and didn't have issues like this.

They have one of the cleanest UIs, are loaded with many features, and the best thing about them is their customer support.

**What do you dislike about WP Engine?**

Nothing much to dislike in WP Engine. They take customer feedback seriously and frequently update their product to eliminate loose ends.

We are a company hosting multiple websites (all on WordPress), and WP Engine provides a single portal to create, manage and access all our sites. Not just that, they provide additional staging and development environments for each site that can be used to test new features/content on the site before they are made live. WP Engine also provides various other capabilities like seamless switching of PHP environments, domain mapping, CDN, SSL, caching, etc. It's a one-stop solution for all your managed WordPress hosting needs.

I like that it's easy to make backups and environments. Also, I've been pleased with their customer support.

It's a bit costly compared to other hosts I've used in the past.

We switched our WordPress theme at the beginning of the year. We created a development environment while setting up the new theme. We then migrated the environment to production and the new theme was live and it all happened without any issues. We were very pleased!
