**What do you like best about TeamBoard for Monday.com?**

I like how TeamBoard for Monday.com allows all team members to see the exact status of a project, where we are at, and what documents have been submitted. That it shows what items are outstanding and actionable for those team memebrs involved, and how far the process has gone along. I also like that once a project reaches a certain stage, it can trigger things to be sent out, like emails or tasks, working on a flowchart basis where certain actions happen at specific points. Items can be prioritised, start & end dates. You can look at a timeline & see what items have been completed , those in progress, not started, pending etc.

**What do you dislike about TeamBoard for Monday.com?**

It was a bit clunky in part, some functions didn't work as well. When setting up users and their access at certain stages, it wasn't always clear or defined. We had to give them whole access because it wasn't possible to tailor the access as needed, which made it hard because they didn't need access to the whole process.

TeamBoard for Monday.com lets everyone on the team see the exact status of a project, including what’s already been submitted and what still needs to be done. It also helps automate processes—especially in recruitment—by triggering actions at different stages, such as sending emails when a candidate moves forward. I like the visibility it gives me into team workload and resource allocation. The planning views make it much easier to see everyone’s availability and balance work across team members, which in turn supports smoother project planning and execution.

What I like most about TeamBoard for monday.com is how seamlessly it builds on an already strong platform. It adds more advanced project planning and resource management capabilities without overcomplicating the overall experience. Since monday.com is built around highly visual, customizable workflows, TeamBoard fits right in and extends that flexibility with more structured planning views and clearer visibility into timelines and team capacity.

I also appreciate how it helps bridge the gap between basic task tracking and more advanced project management. monday.com is excellent for collaboration and keeping work organized in one place, but TeamBoard adds an extra layer by making it easier to plan resources, balance workloads, and manage projects at a higher level—without needing a completely separate tool.

Overall, the biggest win for me is that it keeps everything centralized. Instead of bouncing between multiple systems, I can manage tasks, timelines, and team allocation in one environment, which saves time and makes project oversight much more efficient.

What I dislike about TeamBoard for monday.com is that it can feel complex and a bit overwhelming, especially at the start. There’s definitely a learning curve, and getting everything configured the way you want can take longer than expected before it truly starts to feel efficient.

Another drawback is that the UI can start to feel clunky as your boards grow. When you’re managing larger or more complex projects, navigation can become less smooth and performance may slow down, which takes away from what is otherwise a clean experience.

I find that the visual aspect of TeamBoard for Monday.com is very pleasant, intuitive, and also very useful. The visual features make it much easier to find what I'm looking for, such as functionalities, adding fields, extracting statistics or reports, and assigning tasks. Additionally, the use of colors allows me to differentiate the more urgent priorities from the less urgent ones, making it easier to organize all the tasks of my work team. I also guided myself with tutorials published by the platform and on YouTube, and thanks to that, the initial setup was very easy.

I love to see how the progress is going, how people are doing, and being able to work ahead. It saves so much time from having to check-in with everybody all the time because you just have it already on Monday.

I don't have anything that's necessarily not working. It's doing what it should for us right now. I assume notifications could be more easily handled like auto automations could be easier to create maybe. I have the most issues with sending boards to different boards, if that makes sense. Sometimes the boards would be added twice to another board and it's a whole process that can be somewhat confusing.

Task management for the team is much easier now. Assignments are straightforward, and the automation for recurring tasks saves time. The teamspaces also help keep everything organized and easy to find. You can add priority, track time, tag people, there's so much!

It’s not something I primarily dislike, but once you create a task in the teamboard and add subtasks within the main task, those subtasks tend to get buried. They don’t show up clearly on the board alongside the main list of tasks. You can still assign a person, set priority, add a date range, and include everything you need—it’s just not as visible as I’d expect.

It is a pretty basic setup and you can’t do more of complex tasks. There’s better software out there but if you neee the basics for project planning this is a great choice.

I found Monday.com far too complicated for our use case. On top of that, many of the things we wanted to do seemed to be hidden behind a paywall. There was not a ton of available support and we got very frustrated.

**What do you dislike about TeamBoard for Monday.com?**

It felt like around every corner, something we wanted to do to make life easier came with an extra cost or required adding on to our plan. There’s a steep learning curve, and we never felt like we could just get moving with it; instead, we were always trying to figure something out.

In the long run, Monday.com didn’t solve the problems we needed it to, which is why we ultimately decided to switch away from the platform.

One of the best things about Monday board is receiving notifications directly in your inbox. It offers easy-to-implement automations and seamless status updates—no hassle involved. You can find all your tasks and updates in one place, without needing to check multiple platforms. It is better than any other platform I have worked with

Sometimesthe  board is so lengthy and it isn't easy to find something via scrolling or searching.

arlier, I used Google Drive to keep all my data in one place. But with Monday board, it's much easier to update statuses through automation. It also allows you to upload PDF files, documents, and leave comments directly on tasks. The best part is the automation—you no longer need to manually track what's pending, what needs attention, or what's urgent

Formula column, task id, which is random and which is something i use to make folder names unique.

That the task id is completely random, i would like if the task ID has some sort of relation with another coloumn, that way i can have sequential numbers for a string of related POs

Its solving the prioritazation issue i sued to face, automation after i just fill in the urgency and importance of a task

You can view multiple projects in one board and assign tasks to team members. It’s an easy way to see what team members are working on and who may have time to complete a task if needed.
