"Mac-Friendly MDM with Seamless Apple Business Manager Setup and Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about Iru?

Iru is clearly built with Mac environments in mind, and that’s been a huge win for us. As a fully remote workers’ comp insurance company, we needed something that simply works without a lot of overhead—and Iru delivers. The MDM capabilities are robust while still being easy to manage, and the interface is clean and intuitive.

Its connection with Apple Business Manager makes deploying apps and provisioning devices incredibly straightforward, which is especially helpful for remote onboarding. I’m also able to manage and deploy Microsoft 365 apps across our fleet seamlessly, without friction. On top of that, their team went a step further and helped us build custom scripts to enforce additional tools like remote screen-sharing software and cloud storage sync utilities. That flexibility, along with the hands-on support, was genuinely appreciated—particularly during our onboarding process.

Overall, onboarding new users and devices is very smooth, and their chat and tech support are fast, helpful, and knowledgeable. That makes a real difference in day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

There’s not much to complain about so far. As with any platform, there are always small features I wish were included in the price, but nothing that has impacted our day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Apple Device Management with an Easy Interface and Excellent Support"
What do you like best about Iru?

We love the managment tools it gives us to prevent loss and steamline setup of devices when onboarding / offboarding teammates.

The process is straightforward and interface is easy to use.

It also integrates perfectly with our Apple devices to prevent headaches of needing to know everything about the backend of the systems.

The pricing is within budget and support we recieve when needed is excellent.

I have yet to utilize the AI tools, but I trust that they will add to the overall value and performance of the product. I also expect the AI tools will streamline the performance of the enrollment process and save me time daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

I wish there were a mobile companion app that offered the same level of management, so I could handle things at a moment’s notice right from my pocket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Blueprinting and Smooth Apple Device Onboarding with Iru"
What do you like best about Iru?

What I like most about Iru is the combination of its blueprinting functionality and overall ease of use. The platform is very intuitive, which makes managing Apple devices accessible even without a dedicated IT team.

The blueprinting feature allows us to standardize configurations, security settings, and applications across all devices with minimal effort. This not only improves consistency, but also saves us a significant amount of time in day-to-day management.

Onboarding new users is also very smooth. The enrollment process is straightforward, and users can simply log in with their Microsoft 365 credentials. Within an hour, devices are fully configured and ready to use, creating a seamless experience for both IT and end users.

Overall, Iru strikes a strong balance between usability, automation, and efficient onboarding for our Mac-only environment.

Coming from no prior solution, the investment initially feels significant. However, we strongly believe that a well-implemented MDM solution is essential nowadays, both from a security and operational perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

The initial implementation requires some time and effort, especially if you have general IT affinity but not a deep technical background. Setting up integrations (such as with Microsoft Entra ID) and properly configuring blueprints can involve a fair amount of trial and error.

That said, it is definitely manageable. Iru provides solid documentation and tutorials, and their live chat support is very responsive and helpful when you run into issues.

One area for improvement would be offering more structured implementation support. For example, an optional paid onboarding or guided setup service could help organizations get up and running faster and with more confidence, especially those without a dedicated IT team. "On point MDM solution"
What do you like best about Iru?

The new EDR Solution seems pretty robust, Assignment maps are really useful , being able to use IFTTT( if this then that) style arguments to assign apps , limitations and conditions for each endpoint.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

You are still able to set up conflicting settings, for example, if you set up logging in with an IDP like Google Workspace, and also set up a local password replacement policy, you can get locked out of your user because its managed by Google, yet Iru thinks you need to change your password. When setting up IDP sync this setting should be turned off automatically instead of having and alert or disclaimer reminding you of the potential conflict. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and reliable Apple device management"
What do you like best about Iru?

IRU has been a solid solution for managing Apple devices in our organization. The platform is intuitive, easy to deploy, and the automation features make device configuration and maintenance much more efficient.

The interface is clear and policies can be applied quickly, which saves a lot of time for IT teams. Documentation and resources are also helpful when setting up new configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

That said, some advanced customization options could be a bit more flexible. Overall, it’s been a very positive experience and a good choice for organizations looking to simplify Apple device management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Endpoint Management with Exceptional Support"
What do you like best about Iru?

Iru really stands out for its ease of set-up, allowing me to effortlessly move from no device management to zero-touch, set-and-forget endpoint enrollment and maintenance. This is especially valuable for me as a Head of IT when joining an organization lacking effective device management. The support from Iru is exceptional and incredibly helpful, as I have always had positive experiences with their team who go above and beyond to assist with issues or troubleshoot abnormalities. I find Iru is indispensable for quickly configuring endpoints to a secure baseline, automatically keeping the fleet up to date, and easily deploying applications. Its user-friendly experience empowers end-users to keep their devices updated with minimal friction and intervention from me. The initial setup was extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

The only sticking point for me is their licensing model. I tend to work for start-ups with less than 100 endpoints to manage and their 25 license buckets make it hard to sell the solution over others internally. I'd definitely appreciate more flexibility or smaller license buckets. This has consistently been a sticking point for budget approvers that results in long conversations about going for the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Fleet Management with Intuitive Setup"
What do you like best about Iru?

I love how Iru is so easy to set up and manage. I got tired of having to be the only person that understood our management solution, but now with Iru, any junior admin could pick it up in just an hour of training. The self-service feature is a standout for me, allowing me to deploy anything from applications to bookmarks to custom scripts to fix a variety of problems or make changes. It really gives me everything I could hope for. Also, the fact that it helps keep my devices and software up to date is incredibly helpful. The platform is so intuitive that I was able to build out everything I needed quickly, and it’s a truly great product that I’ve recommended to friends and colleagues. For ease of use, I think it's best in class at this moment in time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

Honestly, pretty much like every aspect of Iru, my only minor complaint is since we've moved from Kanji to Iru, the online chat now has an intermediary step where you have to kinda go through a bunch of AI guided stuff until you get to a person. For my own stake, I would much rather be able to go straight to a person like I did when it was still Kanji. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear, Real-Time Tracking That Boosts Efficiency and Accountability"
What do you like best about Iru?

What I like best about Iru is the tracking feature. It gives clear, real-time visibility into activities and progress, which makes monitoring tasks and workflows much easier. Having everything tracked in one place reduced follow-ups, improved accountability, and helped me spot issues early. It noticeably improved efficiency and saved time compared to manual tracking methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

The tracking feature could be improved in terms of customization and performance. In some cases, it lacks flexible filters and advanced reporting options, which makes it harder to analyze data for specific time ranges or use cases. Occasional delays in updates also reduce real-time accuracy. Adding more configurable tracking views, faster refresh times, and exportable reports would significantly enhance the overall experience. "Game-Changing Automation and AI Insights in One Streamlined Device Management Hub"
What do you like best about Iru?

The automation and AI-driven insights are absolute game-changers. Iru has successfully unified Apple, Windows, and Android management into a single, sleek interface. The "Auto Apps" library is particularly impressive—it handles patching and updates for over 200 applications autonomously, which has drastically reduced our IT ticket volume. The zero-touch deployment via Apple Business Manager works flawlessly every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

The transition from the Kandji branding to Iru was a bit sudden, and while the AI features are powerful, the learning curve for advanced "Assignment Maps" can be a bit steep for new admins. Additionally, the list view customization in the admin console could be more flexible to allow for better filtering of massive device fleets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, High-Performance Platform with Fair Pricing and Strong Support"
What do you like best about Iru?

The solution itself is very clean and clear. The functions are easy to understand and change ourselves. The support is generally really good and even the sales teams are clear and don't try to trick you into anything.

You can integrate your SSO solution so saving stress with user names and passwords, and the performance of the system is really good. We've never had an issue with platform performance.

The pricing is fair and for us, the increased compliance for our security standards is excellent. They have implemented an AI system for support and some other bits. It's good so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Iru?

The only downside I’ve found so far is the support around specific integration issues. For example, with Sophos Intercept X, there aren’t clear instructions for implementing Sophos in Iru. I understand the reasoning behind that, but it still doesn’t necessarily help us as a company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
