## Frame.io Reviews
  ### 1. Frame.io Streamlines Collaborative Video Reviews with Real-Time, Remote Feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arkajit D. | Chief Technology Officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

The greatest thing I love about Frame.io is that it simplifies the workflow of collaborative reviews and creative project management without feeling fragmented or too technical for users. In projects where there are many different people involved from different departments such as editors, producers, marketing, clients, and creative directors, there is a lot of value gained from using such an application.

In my opinion, one of the most advantageous functions of this application for me personally is the ability to do real-time review and provide comments on specific frames. The fact that users can comment on videos without going through numerous e-mail communications or using other applications is a significant improvement of the process.

Another reason why I like this application so much is its capacity for enabling remote and distributed collaboration. For teams which collaborate under very tight deadlines and often use many resources that are located all over the world, there is great value gained from using this platform.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

One of the things that I dislike about Frame.io is the fact that even though the collaboration process itself is very efficient, planning and organizing large scale projects which contain a lot of assets, have many parties involved, and require various approval steps can be somewhat challenging to do.

One of my concerns relates to project management as well as content organization, particularly when it comes to organizing and managing large scale projects which require working with a number of different assets and collaborating with several teams at the same time.

The third thing I dislike about Frame.io is the lack of advanced workflow customizability and permissions management. It could be useful to have more advanced options in this area considering how collaborative projects can get.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main solution that Frame.io offers to the existing problems is the creation of an ecosystem that allows all participants of the creative process to avoid fragmentation and communicate effectively.

Prior to Frame.io integration into my project, there were many challenges associated with feedback processes, which usually involved sending emails, using spreadsheets, message applications, etc., leading to delays and miscommunication. The new system has optimized all the above processes and allowed me to work more efficiently by streamlining collaboration through the content itself.

One of the biggest benefits that I've received from Frame.io usage is increased speed of feedback and approval. Ability to comment on specific parts of videos allows reducing the need for additional communications with editors about what should be fixed, which saves time.

Also, version management has been facilitated significantly, because now there is no need to manage separate file exports and check which version of the material is the latest. This feature proves to be very useful when multiple stakeholders review the same content at once.

Moreover, another big advantage for me personally is enhanced remote collaboration capabilities. It becomes quite important when you deal with production projects and you collaborate with other creatives, agencies, or clients that operate remotely.

  ### 2. Poor Support and Limited Integrations Make Frame Slow to Deliver Final Products - Prefer Timeliner

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J P. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Video production clients are used to Frame finished products, so it's difficult to switch, the user interface is easy to understand, there are tools that they integrate with, it is reliable, price is reasonable

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I really dislike that this isn’t the only tool I can use. I end up having to stitch together other software and resources because I can’t simply integrate everything into Frame. Support is poor, and I don’t feel like Adobe is giving this much attention. It often feels like they don’t care about the user experience. Overall, it takes too much time and too many steps to get to a finished product.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a way for multiple parties to collaborate on video production. There aren’t many real alternatives, and it feels like a lot of people end up stuck with Frame.io simply because they can’t find a true one-stop shop that fits the needs of video production agencies.

  ### 3. Timestamped Comments Make Video Feedback Clear and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu J. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

It makes feedback on video projects way less chaotic. The timestamped comments are probably the biggest win, you can leave feedback at the exact second something needs fixing instead of sending vague messages.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Pricing can be a bit hard to justify if you’re not doing video work regularly. For agencies or active teams, it probably makes sense, but for occasional use it feels pricey. Uploads are usually fine, but larger files can take time depending on internet speed, which gets annoying when deadlines are tight. Also, file organization can become messy if multiple projects are running and nobody maintains structure properly.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the messy feedback problem in creative work. Instead of getting feedback through email, WhatsApp, Slack or random calls, everything stays attached to the actual video.

  ### 4. Streamlined Video Collaboration, Needs Faster Transcript Generation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa A. | Bilingual Client Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I use Frame.io every day to review videos and upload assets for video production. I love the feature to leave comments in videos and how easy it is to share video links in high resolution with clients. I really like the organization of the interface to create files similar to Google Drive. The initial setup was really fast for me.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I don’t like that the transcript option takes quite a while, and it isn’t ready to generate subtitles when I’m reviewing. Also, sometimes when we activate the watermark option, the system glitches and doesn’t allow clients to press play on their videos.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io gives me a centralized platform to share videos, get feedback, and collaborate faster. Also it allows us to have a channel to get live collaboration with clients and storage their assets

  ### 5. Streamlined Creative Collaboration & Feedback

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praney M. | Product Design Manager 2, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I liked how simple Frame.io made the feedback and approval workflow for both internal teams and clients. The frame-specific commenting feature saved a lot of time because designers, editors, and stakeholders could communicate clearly without long explanation threads. I also appreciated that it reduced friction during client reviews. Even non-technical stakeholders were able to use it comfortably, which helped speed up approvals and revisions. The overall UI felt clean and easy to navigate compared to some other collaboration tools we tested. It stood out how well it fit into existing creative workflows, especially when working alongside Adobe tools and distributed creative teams. The frame-specific commenting was incredibly useful for removing ambiguity during revisions, making communication much faster. The Adobe integration helped since our team works heavily inside the Adobe ecosystem, saving us time during active projects. It also made async collaboration much smoother, reducing unnecessary meetings and repetitive feedback loops.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

One thing that could definitely improve is performance when handling larger media files or projects with a lot of revisions because we occasionally noticed slower loading times during heavy review sessions. It was not constant, but it became noticeable on bigger collaborative projects. I also think the notification management can get slightly overwhelming at times when multiple stakeholders are actively commenting across different assets. A bit more flexibility around organizing feedback and filtering activity would help teams working at scale. Another minor issue for us was that some external clients needed a little onboarding initially, especially people who were not used to structured review platforms. Once they got familiar with it things became smoother, but the first few review cycles sometimes required guidance.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io organizes feedback and reviews, eliminating email confusion and improving workflows. It simplifies async collaboration, enabling clients and teams to comment directly, speeding up approval processes. Its Adobe integration and user-friendly interface enhance our creative production and engagement with non-technical stakeholders.

  ### 6. Time-Coded Feedback and Versioning That Makes Reviews Faster and Clearer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bairon P. | Creative Editor Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

What I like most is the time-coded feedback. Clients can pause on an exact frame, leave a comment, draw directly on the image, and we know precisely what they’re referring to.

I also really appreciate the versioning. Every version of an asset stays in a single stack, so nobody gets lost in file names like “FINAL_v6_really_final.mp4”. Overall, it makes the review process clearer and faster for both creatives and clients.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Sometimes, when there are lots of projects and multiple versions, the account can start to feel a bit cluttered unless you maintain a clear structure.

Also, a few clients who aren’t very tech-savvy need a bit of guidance the first time they use the interface—mainly around where to leave comments and how to approve. Once they get the hang of it, everything is fine, but that initial experience can be a little confusing for them.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io mainly solves the problem of messy video feedback. Before, we’d get comments through email, chat, screenshots, and even voice notes, and it was hard to keep everything straight. Now all notes live in one place and are tied to exact frames.

That reduces misunderstandings, helps ensure feedback doesn’t get missed, and cuts down on the number of revision rounds. It also saves time for editors, since they can work through the comment list and address items one by one without guessing what someone meant. Overall, projects move faster, and clients feel more involved in the process.

  ### 7. Effortless Video Feedback with Global Reach

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dejan M. | Freelance Animator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love using Frame.io for getting feedback and changes to explainer video animations from my clients all over the world. It solves the problem of easily understanding what the client wants to change in their video because it has timestamps and markers on the image itself. I love that marking on the image and specific timestamp. The initial setup was easy and understandable from the start without any tutorial.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

While I’m very satisfied with Frame.io overall, sometimes large video uploads can take longer depending on internet speed. Also, when working with many reviewers at the same time, notifications can become overwhelming. It would be great to have more advanced filtering options for comments. However, these are minor points compared to the overall value the platform provides.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Frame.io, client feedback was scattered across emails and messages, which caused confusion and revision delays. Frame.io centralizes all comments directly on the video timeline with precise timestamps and visual markers. This reduces misunderstandings, speeds up revisions, and saves me several hours per project. It significantly improves communication efficiency with international clients.

  ### 8. Streamlined Video Collaboration with a Few UX Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bogdan V. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I use Frame.io for video review and collaboration, which is really helpful for remote collaboration between me and my team. I appreciate being able to upload multiple video files and stack them, making it easier to compare them and make changes. It's secure, which is really important to me. I also like that it allows high-resolution files or proxies to be uploaded directly from the camera, and I don't need to set up a cloud or anything else. The initial setup was pretty intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

So it's, maybe UI and UX design. So navigation and organization is a bit hectic sometimes. Search capability can be a bit better. And maybe asset performance.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for uploading and stacking multiple video files to compare them easily and make changes. It enables remote collaboration with my team, which is crucial for working with platform designers and media producers.

  ### 9. Seamless Video Collaboration with Frame.io

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitch M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I really appreciate Frame.io for its ease of use and practicality when it comes to sharing video work and reviews. The latest updates with mounted storage have made it a very seamless way for teams to work together. Being deep with the Adobe ecosystem, having Frame.io provides a new option to optimize our workflows. The initial setup was very easy, and this made the transition for my team, consisting of over 70 people, from Wiredrive to Frame.io a smooth process. Overall, these aspects make Frame.io a valuable tool for me.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I'm not the biggest fan of the new UI. It's more the aesthetic of it and just a personal opinion.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for file sharing, consolidating reviews, and optimizing workflows with Adobe. The latest updates make collaboration seamless and the platform is easy to use and practical.

  ### 10. Streamlined Video Collaboration, Slightly Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meena F. | Communications Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like how it's easy to upload and download videos, and I appreciate how it's really easy to leave comments and respond to other people's comments. It's interactive, making the process feel more engaging. It's also helpful because we need to get and send a lot of videos between different teams, so it's easy to quickly upload what I need and share it. People can view everything and then download what they need efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I think the interface is a little bit, as intuitive as I would like. Like, even as someone who uses it, like, you know, at moderate amount, I think I don't know all features and capabilities.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io solves the issue of sending large videos via email or Teams. It's easy to download and make comments, enabling quick collaboration and response among teams.

  ### 11. Easy, Painless Uploads and Fast Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Editing Producer On Air Promotion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

It makes it easy to collaborate quickly with a wide range of people. Uploads are straightforward and painless, and it also supports text files. Overall, it’s a solid tool that does what it’s meant to do.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Sometimes the browser can get a bit glitchy, especially when it’s running in virtual environments or on somewhat outdated operating systems. Other than that, I don’t have any criticism.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me collaborate with my team, even though we’re spread out. I can quickly assess whether a product is ready to be launched, confirm that all stakeholders have had a chance to review it, and decide which changes to implement in the next version.

  ### 12. Streamlined Video Collaboration Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro M. | Matchday Operations - RRA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I find Frame.io incredible for communicating between editors and other teams to ensure our videos meet high standards. We have quick and easy access to the same video files, and the ability to highlight specific moments and leave direct comments makes communication simple and effective. This streamlined our video editing process and significantly sped up our turnaround time. I appreciate how easy and smooth the setup is, and how new teammates can quickly understand the UI and start working as part of the team. I love Frame.io so much that I rated it a 10 and plan to use it for future projects.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Sometimes the upload process would crash, and I would have to reset the upload to start again. It happened quite often. Our IT department ensured us it was not an internet problem on our side so it seemed to be an issue with the Frame.io systems or servers.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io helps my video editing team by enabling easy access to video files and allowing us to highlight moments and leave comments. It simplifies communication, streamlines editing processes, and accelerates turnaround times. The user-friendly interface allows new teammates to quickly adapt and start collaborating effectively.

  ### 13. Efficient Video Previews with Codec Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam M. | 3D Artist

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I really appreciate Frame.io's ability to host non-web video codecs for displaying to clients or colleagues. It's so efficient because services like Google Drive can't display videos with industry codecs and formats without the hassle of manual downloads. Frame.io allows clients to view the content seamlessly without any kind of hassle, which is a great time-saver. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy for me since I work with videos all the time.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

The limits on the low tier are a bit annoying. I think I'd use the service more and be more likely to upgrade to a paid plan in the future if the GB cap was something like 10GB.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io allows my clients to view VGX / CGI footage without downloading files, solving the problem of unsupported video formats in typical services like Google Drive. Its ability to host non-web video codecs makes sharing content easy and efficient.

  ### 14. Seamless Integration, Eases Client Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel R. | Sports Photographer

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like how Frame.io integrates directly with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, allowing me to upload and update versions right from the timeline. I find the ability for reviewers to click precisely at a timestamp and comment there, along with drawing on the frame, incredibly helpful as it removes guesswork. I really appreciate how easy it is for clients or producers who aren't technical to use. Visual annotations are very helpful and help non-technical stakeholders feel technical. I really enjoy these features and find them extremely useful. The initial setup of Frame.io was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Honestly there isn't really anything I currently dislike.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io integrates with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, allowing me to upload versions directly from the timeline. Reviewers can comment at specific timestamps and draw on frames, removing guesswork. Its ease of use helps non-technical clients feel involved and technical.

  ### 15. Secure Platform with Easy Artist Feedback, Images, and the ability to work on the fly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** patrick F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

The ability to give feedback to the artists with ways to give picture and tag descriptions of the game and the art direction. I also appreciate the fact that they see my response quickly

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I have not seen a downside. The platform is very secure. If I had any actual feedback it would be that the platform could be a little bit more intuitive on the phone

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the problems that it solves is the ease of feedback and getting answers quickly to issues that come up. One of the main issues I had before was working globally in other countries and having to wait for the team to send me a movie that I can review, sometimes that would take 2 days

  ### 16. Effortless Asset Sharing, High-Quality Retention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** claudia j. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like Frame.io because it's easy to use via a computer or mobile device and makes sharing assets easy. As a content creator, I find it very convenient to toggle between my computer and phone. The ability to share assets without losing their original quality is essential for me. I also appreciate how Frame.io streamlines edit reviews, saving time while maintaining collaboration across my team. The initial setup was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I wish the subscription costs were lower

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to share and store video/photo assets without losing quality. It's easy on both computer and mobile, streamlining edit reviews, saving time, and maintaining team collaboration. We switched from Google Drive and WeTransfer because they decreased quality and weren't convenient.

  ### 17. Streamlined Workflow with Unified Presentation Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I use Frame.io to make management easier and organize my workplace. Being able to see my deck in full and share my plans with others is so much easier than using multiple apps. Instead of having to use more than one tool to solve an issue, it's all interconnected. I can present and assign a task all in one place. I really appreciate being able to present what we have done and explain it through a fully formed deck rather than waffling on without proof. Without Frame.io, I'd be pulling together with PowerPoint, Canva, Zoom, and hoping screenshare works. The initial setup was easy since I usually use Premiere.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I wish there were more updates for Android products.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to simplify management and organize my work. It integrates everything so I can present and assign tasks in one place. Presenting is streamlined, avoiding the hassle of multiple apps like PowerPoint or Canva.

  ### 18. FrameIO Delivers Fast Uploads and Top-Tier Review Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed A. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

As a freelance editor, I've collaborated with a range of clients and used many different video review platforms, such as QuickReviewer and Dropbox Replay. Out of all of them, FrameIO has consistently stood out as the best. The upload speeds are impressive, comments can be made with frame accuracy or across a range, and sharing videos with stakeholders is incredibly straightforward. One feature I particularly appreciate is being able to see exactly when a client has opened a video.

FrameIO has also introduced a dedicated panel within Premiere Pro and After Effects, along with the option to import comments directly into your timeline. However, due to my personal workflow, I still prefer using the main website.

I rely on this platform for every project I take on, and honestly, I can't imagine switching to another video review tool after this experience.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

There's no native Android app out or in-development currently, and opening the website on a web browser on my phone is not ideal & very buggy sometimes. Creating a review link to share with a client on my phone is also borderline impossible, unless you spend a good chunk of time clicking around in Desktop mode.

Pricing racks up fast if you have multiple people in your team since you're charged per member/seat.

And I'm not too fond of the design choices with FrameIO v4 either. An example being that they waste too much video player space on the review page.

I also dislike that there is no direct connection/link between Dropbox & FrameIO, which means I've to upload the same video to both sites separately (depending on state of the project).

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly, its video project hosting. I like that I don't need to buy storage on Google Drive or Dropbox anymore in order to share my deliverables. Client/shareholder reviews, sharing, & distribution is made very straightforward & easy. All they have to do is provide an email & leave comments.

I also like the option to add custom branding on review links, which in turn give a professional look on my delivered work.

I love that it's one single platform that holds all the feedback associated with my projects. I don't have to go digging around in different Slack chats or text files for feedback.

  ### 19. Easy, Centralized Collaboration for Creative Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

This workflow suite is well suited for creatives. The interface is easy to understand, and it’s simple to manage items. Collaboration is also centralized, with all versions, comments, and approvals kept together in one place.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Performance with large files can be an issue—uploads and playback may lag, especially on slower connections.

Permissions can also feel overly complex. Managing access across large teams or when working with multiple clients can get confusing.

Customization is another limitation. Branding and workflow options aren’t as flexible as some enterprise teams might want.

Notifications can become overwhelming as well. On high-comment projects, it’s easy to end up with a lot of alerts unless they’re managed carefully.

Overall, it’s a strong platform, but cost and scaling considerations tend to be the biggest friction points for growing teams.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Frame.io, feedback often arrived through scattered emails, long Slack threads, or PDF scribbles, which made it difficult to track what changes were requested and who requested them.

Frame.io centralizes feedback directly on the video timeline with precise timestamps, so comments stay tied to the exact moment in the edit.

Version Confusion

Teams often end up generating multiple versions of the same edit, which creates uncertainty about which version is the most recent or the one that’s actually approved.

Frame.io keeps all versions in one place and makes it easy to compare them.

Slow Collaboration

Sending large video files back and forth can be slow and inefficient.

Frame.io allows collaborators to review high-resolution video in the cloud without having to download huge files.

  ### 20. Streamlined Video Feedback with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David J. | Snaplogic Project Support and Integrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I use Frame.io to review video content, share drafts, and collect feedback. What I like most is how easy it is to leave time-stamped comments directly on videos, which makes feedback much clearer and faster to act on. It solves the problem of scattered feedback and inefficient review processes by centralizing video sharing, comments, and approvals in one place. I also appreciate that the initial setup was very easy.

  ### 21. Effortless Video Feedback and Collaboration Made Fun

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sree K. | Software Engineer II in Test, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

What I appreciate most is how effortless it is to get feedback on videos. I no longer have to deal with sending large attachments or waiting for people to figure out where to leave their comments, since they can just add their notes directly on the video timeline. This makes editing so much easier. For work projects, like when our team creates a welcome video or a quick client recap, it really cuts down on the hassle. Even for my personal edits, I love being able to simply drag and drop files and have friends easily mark up their thoughts. It’s fast, straightforward, and honestly pretty fun to use.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

To be honest, most of my issues with frame.io are minor. Uploading larger videos can be a bit slow at times, especially when my Wi-Fi connection isn’t strong, and I’ve occasionally noticed the player glitching while loading previews. I also wish it were more affordable or offered a more generous free plan for casual or personal projects. While the pricing is reasonable for company work, it can feel a bit expensive for random home use. Aside from these points, it generally works well and does what I need.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

frame.io has resolved many of the frustrating issues I used to face with video sharing and collecting feedback, particularly when working on group projects. Instead of having to email large video files or juggle feedback scattered across different platforms, I can now simply upload the video and have everyone leave their comments directly on it. For client projects at work, this streamlines the review and editing process, making it much less of a hassle to organize. When it comes to my personal side projects, it’s also far easier to gather friends’ opinions without the need to send files back and forth. The greatest advantage for me is the significant amount of time I save. There are no more lost emails or confusion about which part of the video someone is referring to. Everything is centralized, well-organized, and clear, which honestly makes collaborative video editing much less stressful.

  ### 22. Centralized Hub for Effortless Video Collaboration

I use Frame.io to upload creative files, manage projects, assign tasks, get feedback, and share my work. As a video editor, I feel great using the software because it acts as a centralized hub for the team in video production, offering future review. Frame.io is valuable to my workflow as it allows me, as the leader, to review and collaborate with others easily, from freelancers to enterprise teams, helping us both review, prove, and deliver. I find Frame.io easier to use compared to our previous software, Adobe Premiere Pro, and it enhances collaboration and communication. The software allows us to share and review before submitting the final product.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to upload files, manage projects, assign tasks, and share work. It acts as a centralized hub for collaboration, making it easy to review projects and work with others from freelancers to enterprises. Frame.io simplifies everything and enhances communication.

  ### 23. Lightweight and Impactful Communication with Frame.io

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shrey P. | Video Editor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

It’s incredibly light on the system yet remarkably powerful for collaboration. Frame.io streamlines communication, keeps projects organized, and makes feedback clear and actionable. The real-time review tools, fast uploads, and intuitive interface make the entire workflow feel smoother and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I don’t dislike much, but there are small areas that could improve. Occasionally the sync between versions can feel slightly delayed, and the commenting tools—though powerful—could be even more streamlined for heavy workflows. Nothing major, but refinements would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io solves the biggest challenge in post-production: keeping feedback clear, organized, and fast. It centralizes all comments, versions, and approvals so nothing gets lost, and it removes long back-and-forth chains. This saves time, reduces errors, and keeps my team aligned no matter where we’re working from.

  ### 24. Perfect Platform for Client Video Feedback

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vineeth K. | Sr. Multimedia Designer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

Frame.io makes it easy for me to share ongoing video projects by simply generating a link. This allows clients or higher management to review the video just by clicking the link, and they can leave comments or feedback directly on specific timelines. The fact that it can be accessed from any device is, in my opinion, its best feature.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I find it inconvenient that accessing premium templates requires committing to a full monthly subscription, rather than allowing for individual purchases. This results in watermarks appearing when using the free version. I also wish there were more advanced annotation tools available, such as multi-frame tracking, although the current set of tools generally meets my needs.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool is a great help for us video editors and motion designers, as it removes the time-consuming task of exporting videos just to get feedback. Exporting can take a significant amount of time, and for editors, every minute counts. Now, clients are able to view and review ongoing projects without any hassle.

  ### 25. Clients love it!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris G. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

We use Frame.io as a review tool for our clients. It has been well received by everyone. The ability for them to leave comments at the exact time in the video has been a game changer and made it easier for our editors to produce changes

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Right now, it's hard to say what I dislike about it. We have some network infrastructure that doesn't allow us to use the full capabilities of the app but we are working internally to resolve that. What we need is to be able to make a solid use case with our information security team about storing assets on the cloud.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our review process would take days and we would get random emails and chats within our company from stakeholders. Now stakeholders can comment directly in the app and any changes can be discussed acurrate on the timeline.

  ### 26. Intuitive, Reliable Reviews with Frame.io—Everyone Stays on the Same Page

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frae.io makes it easy for our clients to review our creative work and provide precise, actionable feedback. As a result, we get approvals faster and maintain a higher quality throughout our content production process.

  ### 27. Super Convenient Client Reviews in One Place—Perfect for Post-Production Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Animation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

The ease of use for review, I'm sharing links with clients for them to leave their comments and it's super convenient to keep everything in one place that is already friendly for post production workflows

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

After I enabled the adobe user plan with 100gb, I haven't found something I do not like, prior to that, the free tier with only 2 gb of space is just too small to offer any meaningful usefulness

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping feedback and deliverables in one location instead of multiple services (dropbox, vimeo, email, etc)

  ### 28. Effortless Collaboration and Clear Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bartłomiej O. | Freelance Motion Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

What I like most about Frame.io is how easy it makes collaboration with clients, partners, and teammates. You don’t have to write down timecodes or explain things in long messages. Feedback can be left directly on the exact frame that needs changes. The drawing tools are also very helpful because they make it easy to show what should be adjusted. Overall, it saves time and makes communication much clearer.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Sometimes playback is not as smooth as playing a video directly from disk, especially with heavier files. Other than that, the platform works very well for my workflow.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io solves the problem of sharing files and collecting feedback from multiple people at once. With a single link, I can quickly share a file and receive all comments in one place. This keeps feedback organized, saves time, and makes the review process much more efficient.

  ### 29. organized video collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nijat I. | Full-stack Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

The way it streamlines video feedback is brilliant. Instead of endless email threads, clients can comment directly on the video timeline, and I see exactly what needs to be changed. It keeps projects moving fast and organized.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

> The biggest issue for me is performance with heavy projects — large uploads or long timelines can slow things down quite a bit. Sometimes comments take a few seconds to sync, and it interrupts the flow. I also wish there were more customization options for sharing links and controlling client permissions. Overall, though, the core idea works really well.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the chaos of video review and communication. I can share drafts with clients, collect feedback in one place, and make revisions without confusion. It saves a lot of time and helps avoid misunderstandings during editing.

  ### 30. Streamlined Video Collaboration, High Storage Costs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex H. | Owner Outward Element Creative Studio, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I think Frame.io is the best software for collaborative review. I love that it allows clients to leave feedback based on exact time codes and lets them draw on the image. I find the uploads to be incredibly fast, which is fantastic, and I enjoy how it integrates with Adobe Premiere, making it easy to import comments directly into my sequence. These comments translate to markers on my sequence, allowing me to easily go through and make changes. It even allows file uploads, revisions, and offers great features when sharing videos.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I think the biggest downside to Frame.io is the storage cost beyond the free version. It is expensive to have large amounts of data stored.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Frame.io perfect for video reviews and collaboration, as it allows clients to leave feedback with exact time codes and draw on images. It integrates smoothly with Adobe Premiere, letting me import comments directly, which makes editing changes simple and organized.

  ### 31. Perfect for feedback during the video creation process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mindy S. | Account manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

It is super easy to leave feedback on video projects we are working on. Everyone can leave comments on exactly the right spot, and we can mark up the screen, use specific timestamps. It's perfectly easy to convey our meaning. We use it both internally and with clients.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

It doesn't keep me signed in so I have to sign in every time I open a new link. I don't know why since I always sign in so this is annoying- happens every time.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Leaving precise feedback on a video project, critical for our needs as a creative agency creating videos. We use it both internally and externally with clients.

  ### 32. Game-Changer for Video Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate C. | Field Marketing Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love how Frame.io has made getting final sign-off on content much easier for us. We can discuss the video and give notes at the precise frame, which is super helpful. I love being able to go in and use the drawing tools to pinpoint exact issues in a frame. It's great that you can draw around the edit that’s needed instead of having to describe the frame and issue. The integration with our Adobe package is fantastic, and the initial setup was seamless; we didn’t need any setup, just log right in.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I don’t have any improvements

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io simplifies getting final sign-off on video content by allowing precise feedback and discussions on specific frames, avoiding detailed text replies. The drawing tools let us highlight exact issues within a frame, making the review process more efficient.

  ### 33. Streamlined Video Collaboration, Precise Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam S. | AI Data Annotator, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love Frame.io for its frame-accurate commenting feature, which lets clients pinpoint exact moments for feedback without vague emails or confusion. The real-time collaboration and seamless Adobe Premiere integration dramatically speed up workflows for video teams. I appreciate how version control keeps everything organized in one place, eliminating scattered files. The initial setup is very straightforward, with an intuitive dashboard and guided onboarding that make it accessible even for non-tech users. I also enjoy that Frame.io integrates seamlessly with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop for direct uploads and frame-accurate exports, working well with tools like DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Dropbox, and Google Drive. It was a big upgrade from Dropbox and Google Drive, providing organized workflows and smooth client handoffs.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Pricing and storage limits can feel restrictive for larger teams or high-volume projects, often requiring upgrades sooner than expected. The interface, while powerful, has a learning curve for non-technical clients, and occasional upload speed issues arise with big files. Mobile app functionality lags behind the web version for full review workflows.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io streamlines video workflows by centralizing feedback, eliminating version confusion, and speeding up approvals. It offers frame-accurate commenting and integrates seamlessly with Adobe tools, resulting in organized workflows and smoother client collaborations.

  ### 34. Pinpoint Feedback and Seamless Adobe Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam A. | 3D Animator

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love the pinpoint-accurate feedback feature, which allows users to click directly on a frame and leave comments associated with specific pixels, making notes very precise. I appreciate Frame.io's intuitive interface, as it's exceptionally clean and easy to navigate, even for clients new to professional review platforms. The fast and reliable playback of high-resolution videos with minimal load times and buffering is another highlight. I also enjoy the deep integrations with Adobe and Apple, which let editors review comments and manage assets within their NLEs, saving hours usually spent context-switching. The visual context feature is great too, as it allows drawing annotations directly on frames for clear instructions. Setup was easy for me, and the convenience of uploading and receiving immediate feedback through Adobe After Effects is extremely useful.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Download/Upload Complexity: For clients who just need to quickly download the final video file, the interface can sometimes feel overly dense compared to a simple shared Dropbox or Google Drive link. The focus is heavily on the review mechanism, which can complicate the simple delivery task. Non-Video Asset Handling: While you can upload images, PDFs, and audio, Frame.io is optimized for video. Its tools for marking up and collaborating on non-video documents are basic compared to dedicated document collaboration tools.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io offers pinpoint-accurate feedback and an intuitive interface, making video review effortless. The precise feedback speeds up the revision cycle, while deep integrations with Adobe and Apple save time by reducing context-switching.

  ### 35. Effortless Collaboration and Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I like Frame.io's ability to maintain a cloud version of projects, which ensures access across our organization. It allows for sharing of assets for approval across our organization and provides access to both ongoing and archived projects. The initial setup was easy, which made integrating Frame.io into our workflow smoother.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Being able to make collections that span across the account level, and not project level.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for sharing assets for approval and providing all creatives access to ongoing and archived projects, streamlining collaboration.

  ### 36. Streamlines Video Collaboration and Client Delivery

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nix T. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like the fact that I can export directly from Premiere and put it right into Frame.io, and the fact that I can receive the feedback with time stamps and the sections that need to be cut directly in Frame.io is a game changer. It makes it really easy to send a short link to my clients. Overall, it just makes things easier for video production. Easier often times means quicker, and quicker leads to more money!

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

If Frame.io could also include a focus on print and digital artwork, that would be great. I'm not sure if it does now, but I think that would be something that could be made a little bit more prominent. As it stands currently, Frame.io is video focused, and it's great for video, but I wish that there would be a way to get the feedback from clients all in one place, especially as a creative agency. We're often doing visuals, logos, intros, outros, and print production like stickers for the same client, and if I could send everything through Frame.io, I think that would be great.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io simplifies organizing and sharing videos for production, and it helps in allowing clients to view work without downloading. It also enables feedback collection and integrates well with Adobe apps, speeding up uploads compared to Google Drive. This improves workflow and efficiency for video work.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

The interface could be a little cleaner.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for client-facing delivery of assets. It eases my workflow in delivering these assets and managing media efficiently. Its clean interface makes it user-friendly.

  ### 38. Seamless Content Sharing, Storage Needs Improvement

I like that Frame.io makes it easier to share content and makes it seamless to edit the content. It's easy to access and work with my team, and the initial setup worked perfectly and seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I find the storage not enough and it sometimes changes the format/quality of the videos/pics. Also, I wish they didn't charge for storage amounts.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to share media with my coworkers easily. It simplifies sharing and editing content, but storage and format changes can be issues.

  ### 39. Broad Format Support, Effortless File Navigation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I definitely like the wide range of formats that Frame.io supports, which is my number one. I also appreciate the ease of searching through files and subfolders, including metadata, because it makes accessing content I've uploaded throughout the year really easy. This ease of access also speeds up my editing process and makes sharing with stakeholders much easier. It's also worth mentioning that the setup was very easy. It also seems to have super fast upload times, and decent download speed as well.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

It struggles at downloading multiple files through the browser. You need the app to consistently download projects containing numerous files, otherwise it will crash and fail several of the individual downloads.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frame.io accepts a wide range of formats, including Premiere save files, and organizes content well. It's easy to navigate and simplifies searching through files, including metadata. It makes edits quicker and sharing with stakeholders easier.

Easy to send images/videos to clients for approval. Keeps everything organized in simple folders, so it's easy to find assets whenever needed. Easy to change statuses.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

No internal only statuses. Sometimes it would be nice to have statuses only for the internal team to show feedback or if the asset has been used in ad channels yet.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A place to curate assets for client approval. Simple and easy way to group assets together for clients and internal team to review and leave feedback.

  ### 42. Effortless Large File Sharing and Real-Time Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valerie I. | Creator | Executive Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like how seamless it is for large file sharing while in post production and i like that multiple team members can acess and comment on the same project in real time

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

i don't love that it's a bit expensive -- more affordable for companies and large teams than it is for individual users. but otherwise, there's not much to dislike!

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes large file sharing seamless without involving the purchase and management of a physical hard drive. Everything is cloud based so all you need is a strong wifi connection but you don't need to purchase a drive and then ship it.

  ### 43. Streamlined Video Collaboration with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MOHAMMED R. | Graphic Designer

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love using Frame.io for video collaboration and project reviews because it has significantly streamlined my workflow. The platform is exceptionally user-friendly, especially when it comes to sharing edits and gathering feedback from clients or team members. One of the standout features is the use of time-coded comments, which are invaluable for tracking revisions clearly and without any confusion. Upload and sharing speeds are impressive, and I appreciate how organized everything stays within a project, allowing even those without logins to review videos. I particularly like how easy it is to collect feedback using these time-coded comments, which accelerates collaboration and keeps it well-organized. The interface is clean, and the sharing options are quick, making the entire workflow smoother. Additionally, Frame.io integrates seamlessly with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, fitting well into my editing workflow and speeding up the process of exporting and sharing drafts for review. The initial setup process was also very smooth and straightforward, requiring minimal learning, which was a delightful experience.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Sometimes large video files take longer than expected to process in Frame.io, which slows down the workflow a bit. Additionally, the mobile app experience could be improved.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Frame.io streamlines video collaboration and project reviews, simplifies feedback collection with time-coded comments, and enhances workflow organization, though large files take time to process.

  ### 44. Highly Customizable, But Needs Intuitive Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Senior Technical Writer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I like how Frame.io is highly customizable, which allows me to quickly change the look and feel, such as adjusting thumbnails for videos. Being able to alter the shape and size of thumbnails, like their aspect ratios, depending on the sort of use is incredibly useful as it makes the content appear much cleaner and more professional. The process is very easy and doesn't require complicated configurations or settings, which I find logical and intuitive, making my life easier. I also appreciate the feature which allows me to apply changes in bulk rather than having to tediously go through each file individually. The instant preview while adjusting settings, like the aspect ratio, is another feature I find very convenient as it saves considerable time. This live update avoids the need for constant saving and refreshing to see results, enhancing the efficiency of my workflow with Frame.io.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I find exporting files to be a bit complicated, especially in certain formats. Initially, the workflow and the user interface seemed clunky, making it unclear how to export files in the desired format. Additionally, the setup process was a bit complex, with a notable learning curve. The software is not very intuitive, requiring more time to get up to speed. While there are online resources available, an on-screen tour guide or walkthrough of the features would be beneficial to help users navigate the application more efficiently and get value quickly.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io as a one-stop shop for managing and updating video assets. It simplifies collaboration and customization, making changes like aspect ratios quickly with live previews, thus streamlining our video marketing process.

Frame.io simplifies client reviews in video production, offering an easy-to-use interface for my team and clients.

  ### 46. Intuitive and Centralized Tool for Content Management

I think the interface of Frame.io is very simple and easy to use. I love the design and how it brings everything to one place, solving the simplicity of it. The features save a lot of time as everything is centralized, rather than needing to use different tools. The initial setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

Usability could be improved next to accessibility, it only happened one time so I believe the issue I experienced was fixed!

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to manage content projects effectively for clients. It saves me a lot of time by bringing everything to one place, eliminating the need for different tools.

  ### 47. Frame.io: Essential for Precise Video Editing but Needs 3D Enhancements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love using Frame.io for video editing as it offers frame-accurate comments, which significantly enhances the editing process by allowing precise and clear communication on video feedback. This feature is incredibly useful for ensuring that every detail is captured accurately, making the collaborative editing process more efficient and effective. I find this capability to be particularly valuable in streamlining the editing workflow and improving the quality of the final output. Overall, Frame.io has proven to be an essential tool in my video editing tasks, and I highly recommend it for its frame-accurate comment feature.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I don't like that Frame.io doesn't have a 3D layer, which limits its functionality for creating complex video compositions. Additionally, the absence of camera position features means that achieving seamless transitions is more challenging than it should be.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io for video editing, enabling precise stabilizing and composition with frame accurate comments, greatly enhancing my editing process.

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I love how fast and easy to use Frame.io is. The fluidity it offers is comparable to other design tools like Figma or Framer, providing the seamless environment that designers need. This product allows me to beautifully present screens, which is essential in my work. I appreciate how well organized Frame.io is, making the workflow efficient by reducing half the hassle right from the start. The ease of use extends to the initial setup, which was very straightforward. These qualities not only streamline my design process but also significantly enhance my ability to create compelling presentations for clients, showing them the potential business impact of our projects.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I feel that Frame.io could improve on some important tools needed for designing a pitch deck. Specifically, it lacks an inbuilt AI image builder and features for video asset creation. These omissions could hinder the seamless creation of comprehensive pitch decks and presentations, which are crucial for my work with clients.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to visualize website fundamentals, showcasing clients how their sites will look and impact business. The platform's speed and fluidity enhance design presentations, simplifying workflow and reducing hassle.

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I find the feedback and comment section in Frame.io particularly valuable for my video editing projects. The real-time notifications are a feature I really appreciate, as they enable efficient communication with clients, allowing them to provide immediate feedback without being time-constrained. This immediacy significantly speeds up my editing process and enhances overall efficiency. My clients are also happy with the system, as it alleviates the need for constant back-and-forth about each detail, enabling us to chat directly in the comment section about specific changes. Furthermore, the integration of Frame.io with Adobe Premiere Pro through its extension provides a seamless workflow for uploading projects and sharing them with clients. The setup process is extremely easy due to the simple and minimalist user interface. I can easily log in, upload videos, share links, and receive feedback from clients without hassle. Overall, these features help streamline the feedback process and make my project management more effective and less cumbersome.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

I experience some issues with the mobile phone version of Frame.io. When using the website on my phone, the keyword input sometimes doesn't pop up as expected and occasionally feels slow. This doesn't happen frequently, but it is noticeable. However, I find the web version on my laptop to be satisfactory without these issues.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Frame.io to streamline project feedback, making the process smooth and real-time. My clients can comment directly on videos, enhancing communication efficiency and speeding up editing tasks.

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Frame.io?**

I really appreciate how Frame.io streamlines my revision process by stacking new versions automatically, allowing clients to switch between versions easily without confusion. The feedback system is incredibly efficient, with clients able to leave comments directly on specific timestamps, which makes addressing feedback straightforward and eliminates guesswork. I love the link sharing capability because it simplifies access for clients. Just one link is all it takes for everything, and clients don't need an account to view it. Also, having control over whether they can download or just view ensures my files' security and relevance. These features work together to keep the workflow smooth, organized, and professional, helping me avoid the back-and-forth complication that was common with previous tools. Overall, the ease of setup with Frame.io was a bonus, as it allowed me to quickly start working with it without any fuss. The clean interface made operations intuitive and expedited the entire setup process.

**What do you dislike about Frame.io?**

One aspect that frustrates me about Frame.io is the UI design. Although the colors are cohesive and create a clean theme, the similarity among button appearances occasionally causes me to click the wrong one when working quickly, which can be mildly problematic. Additionally, uploading large files seems slow when my internet connection isn't strong, and I find the free storage limit to fill up quite rapidly. These are not major issues, but addressing them would enhance the overall experience.

**What problems is Frame.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Frame.io eliminates version chaos and confusion, with organized version stacking and clear time-stamped feedback, streamlining client reviews without clutter. Link sharing is effortless, keeping clients engaged without account demands, saving back-and-forth time.
