Some staff members don't enjoy public celebrations, and BirthdayBot allows them to take out their birthdays or not set them at all, which means they won't be celebrated. This feature lets me avoid managing the politics of birthday celebrations. I also found the initial setup to be super easy; I just connected it, set up the billing, and then informed my team via Slack. It automatically handled the rest of the setup. **What do you dislike about BirthdayBot?** I found BirthdayBot to be super cheesy in terms of messaging. But that said - it was so cheesy that it was almost endearing to my colleagues. They loved it. **What problems is BirthdayBot solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use BirthdayBot to remember employees' birthdays and work anniversaries with my fully remote workforce. It automates celebrations, allowing people to opt in or out, and keeps celebrations fun, even if a bit cheesy. I don't have to manage the politics of who's celebrated or not. ### 2. I like that the features are birthday and work anniversaries only for a reasonable price. **What do you dislike about BirthdayBot?** Least helpful is I'm not always sure what communications new hires get about it - some enter in their birthdays on their own and some don't and I have to enter them for them. It also sends out an alert on their birthday, so nobody forgets. This is great because everyone gets birthday wishes! I have been at companies that did not have this software in place, and many people's birthdays were forgotten unless they spoke up about it. I also like that it is integrated with Slack, which makes it super easy to be alerted. It has its own channel, which shows everyone's birthday as they come up. **What do you dislike about BirthdayBot?** I have not found any downsides to using this tool yet. So far, everything has worked well, and it hasn't missed anyones birthdays yet! Side note: Not sure if this was intentional, but the logo looks like Bender from Futurama!
