What do you like best?

The platform is easy to use and it provided complete solution from testing to follow-up trainings. You can use each module individually or link them together as a program.

The ability to integrate to AD allows easy grouping to user by department, location, functions, or any custom data field. Contents gets regular updates, you will always find new template and training modules. You can run test daily, weekly, monthly to the whole enterprise or to selected group. And you can create targeted training for user who failed or a training for everyone.

Their support and account manager always available for help with the solution or if you need new ideas for the campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There really nothing to dislike about the solution. Many other solutions doesn't cover the wide ranges of the campaign capabilities. I would say an area of improvement is reporting capability, the data is there but a more robust reporting dashboard maybe helpful. Currently I have to download the data into csv and using spreadsheet and presentation slides to complete the report for the management teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Understand what your needs are as a whole program and the contents available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Regular security awareness training, with history and record to follow-up. And a training module to pair up with the campaigns.

Most of the solution would only provide campaigns or training, Knowbe4 has all. In additional it can be set for user grouping which very helpful when sending out targeted campaigns with matching contents for users role and function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Great topics! Content is engaging. Phishing templates are amazing. Provides real world fake phishing emails and customized landing pages show the user what to look for in phishing emails. Over all very pleased with the system. Their videos are great! We have used the videos in our annual training for the last 3 years and they get better every year. They keep the user engaged and educated. We also utilize the tips emails for reminding our users what to look for and additional training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Really the only downside i see is the lack of names used to send the fake emails from. The system does use names of managers and supervisors in emails, but when they create names to send emails as, it tends to be just a couple. End users could become aware of the names and not necessarily because of what to look for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Just purchase it!!! You wont be disappointed at all! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving our requirement to train our end users. We are a hospital and it is very important that our end users do not fall victim to phishing emails. We have realized that our end users are paying attention to the emails that are coming in, and our phish prone % is dropping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Very easy to use and with several customized templates. The customer support is very good and helpful when it's necessary to talk to them. There are several options of trainings in English. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are few options of trainnings deppending on the language you choose. In Portuguese there are few updated translations and there ones that are available have in the title dates such as 2019, 2018 and others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Deppending on the sector it's good to decide the order of the trainings. Some of them are very difficult and could be used by the IT department. Other ones are easier but can be hard for most of the employees. It is also good to think of the impact of the training and how it can improve the cyber security skills and the behaviour inside the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

There are some issues such as translations, some confusing questions and some questions are very complex or technical comparing with the other questions in the same assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Large pool of security training content, that can be customized for any kind of company at any maturity level. Simulated phishing is very believable, and tricks even the most savvy of employees. The Inside Man is the most entertaining, and valuable security training I have ever seen, and impresses everyone that takes it. Platform feels very well made, and the UX is fantastic in providing a premium experience for learners. API for integrating with other platforms or writing metrics or reporting from the learning platform. The PhishER SOAR platform is able to be integrated with SIEM systems, and makes cleaning up REAL phishing campaigns a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing about KnowBe4 itself that I don't like, they adapt very quickly and iterate on new features/capabilities on a regular basis. There are a few minor things in the KSAT dashboard that are not the most straight forward to figure out without help from an account representative, but nearly nothing is impossible to achieve within the platform. The only thing that is a problem is anti-competitiveness by some email platforms that like to flag KnowBe4 simulated emails as actual phishing, and refuse to fix their logic. I won't mention any specific vendor names, but those companies know exactly who they are and should be ashamed of themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

No need to look any further, KnowBe4 has your security training, simulated phishing, vishing, usb drop, and even LMS needs covered. You will be hard pressed to find a platform better at managing cyber security training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Phish prone clickers quickly learn things they need to be watching out for in emails, email responses to the simulated phishing emails are recorded and tracked, entertaining training material that helps to identify blind spots across physical security, cyber security, operational security, and the traditional types of material needs to be protected, how, and why. It even covers Insider Threat, which most security awareness tools do not spend much time on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The ability to create and schedule regular testing on this solution is fantastic. The monthly test that is being sent, helps us to see it we are getting better as an organisation overall, or if there are specific people/areas that need attention or additional training. The range of training, and the regular additional videos/presentation around holiday and special events are also a nice and relevant form of training. I also find the ability to adjust the level of "deceitfulness" of the test emails being sent particularly useful. Being able to very closely mimic official correspondence from the organisation lets us push our users further once they become good at spotting the more easily recognisable test emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike about the solution from my viewpoint. It is providing a solution that clearly addresses a need for improving cybersecurity in organisations that are connected to the internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is providing a regular testing and training solution, and helps me feel better about the knowledge level of our employees in spotting phishing emails. Not having to spend hours going over training with people that do not need it has given me back a large amount of time. Being able to focus the training on those that are most in need each month helps to ensure we are using the most of the valuable team that the team has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

KnowBe4 offers comprehensive products that are easy to use and they also have some of THE BEST customer support. Over the years, I have had a few different account representatives and each one has been great. They produce useful and advancing products in the ever-expanding cyber climate. The campaigns are easy to build and deploy, the UI is easy to navigate and flows very well. We also implemented the PhishER console and found that this is also a great product to assist with the overall security of our organization. KnowBe4 continues to develop additional products that set them apart in the cyber security industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

My only dislike, and we're digging in the bottom of the barrel here - the PhishRIP feature within PhishER requires several filter points in order to RIP successfully. There are a few instances where there are not enough similarities between the same chunk of phishing emails for this portion to work all the time, BUT it does work when there are enough similarities. It's really a stretch to say that I dislike any of the KnowBe4 products that I have utilized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Reach out to KnowBe4 and have them demo their products - you won't be disappointed. The products are easy to use and the staff are wonderful. They offer not only simulated campaigns to raise awareness, but they have newsletters you can set to automatically go out to your users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

My organization has greatly increased their awareness with phishing emails and was able to lower the over-all phish-prone percentage. Since implementing KnowBe4, we've been able to increase cyber security awareness for our employees and with that knowledge, better protect our organization as a whole. We're also able to utilize trainings in the modstore for use in our learning platform which is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like how easy it is to setup campaigns and also the ability to get managers involved in making sure employees complete them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I think sometimes the videos could be a little more light hearted as there is a repetitious tone throughout most of them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do not let this be something that you wait to do at your company. For the cost per user of this product it is a no brainer and will shows ROI in the first month. We could not be happier by making this addition to our network security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We quickly noticed how much user awareness this has brought. We have pretty much scared the users to a point where they even ask us about legitimate emails to check before they do anything with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's very easy to use, and to create the phishing and training campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I don't like is that I can't download the videos. In the instructions said we can download the videos, but I don't see the option. I don't know if it's something in the role that I have assign but I'm the account admin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is a tool that really works to keep employees alert and able to correctly detect phishing in order to avoid information theft or fines to the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

All employees have improved in the way they can detect phishing. Previously in a test, they failed more than 50%, now only less than 8% fail a campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Our users click on far fewer phishing emails compared to the first few times that we tested them. Dramatically reduced the number of fake emails that our staff actually replied to or gave up personal info to. We try to find a balance between diligence and annoying our staff. You can use cookie cutter training campaigns or customize them for your environment. They have short optional remedial video training, also.

Active Directory integration was simple to implement. Was obviously a necessary component.

We haven't had the time to roll out the phishing report button yet, but plan to in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Not a legit complaint, but the support works very hard to remind you to test users regularly.

Users occasionally complain, but usually the embarrassment of failing the training emails keeps those complaints to a minimum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

KnowBe4 is great at Phish Training and the password strength and repeat checker (I forgot what they call it) is really helpful for making sure our employees are correctly rotating their passwords. It's incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are lots of things you can do with KnowBe4, but it often only gets used for the most simple tasks - shorting us out on getting the best ROI potential. This isn't necessarily KnowBe4's fault, but when we talk about security KnowBe4 is one of the last things we mention. Other tools we have are more important and do more than KnowBe4. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

KnowBe4 is great, but it's easy to forget you have it. It's only as good as long as you use it. Make sure you remind yourself to do a phishing campaign or other security checks, otherwise it doesn't do much for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Within our organization, we use KnowBe4 for phish training and ensuring that our employees are staying compliant with our password policies. I'm sure there are a few other things we use it for, but those are the main features we use. We've been able to find our most vulnerable employees who are susceptible to clicking links or reusing known passwords and help train them to avoid those pitfalls. What do you like best?

I am a small business without a lot of time to spend learning a new system and the customer success representative along with clear and straight forward documentation made it very easy to get my organization configured in just a couple of hours. I find the content in the training modules to be comprehensive and I like that it is available in a variety of tones. You can find serious material that you could use for remediation training and then funny content to keep your audience willing to sit through the training. You can tie the phishing results directly to a remediation campaign streamlining the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I have only been using the training for a month and have not spent a lot of time looking through all the learning modules but finding the ones that best correspond to our company's culture while meeting the learning objectives can be time consuming. The customer success rep did make some suggestions and would probably be happy to go over all of them with me if I asked. I have some specific content that I am required to train on based on certain regulatory guidelines and I have not found how to add my own content but I have not spent much time looking either and have not contacted my customer success rep yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I was doing training in person but as we went remote and schedules got more difficult to coordinate I found it hard to get sufficient training in. KnowBe4 gives me the ability to schedule training and let our employees complete it when it best fits their schedule. KnowBe4 also creates the artifacts that I need to demonstrate compliance for audits. I was also using a freeware phishing tool that took some effort to support and my team had to create the phishing content. KnowBe4 comes with a complete collection of phishing content organized from basic to sophisticated so you can challenge your most targeted users to ensure they don't get tricked. What do you like best?

The features I like the most is the ability to sync KnowBe4 with Azure AD. With this feature it makes it much easier for me to manage the security of my users all in one place no matter if we add, remove, or edit users in our AD, it is all synced back to the KnowBe4 portal so I don't have to edit users in multiple places. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There is not anything I dislike about KnowBe4.. The only thing "bad" I would have to say, is that if you are dealing with anymore than a couple hundred users, it may get a little pricey. So I would suggest using this if you are a short-handed IT team in need of a more enhanced security solution that protects it's users from primarily phishing scams and when you would need to teach your users security concepts when it comes to a business setting. I've had KnowBe4 for about three months and have already seen a major change (for the better) in our vulnerability to cyber crime. My users are now more knowledgeable and can handle most situations themselves, and allows them to report any email they receive that they think may be malicious for me to review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

My advice to anyone on the fence about KnowBe4 is to go ahead and make the leap, you won't regret it. KnowBe4 has helped our company tremendously in the past few months since we started rolling it out. I had no idea that I would see this amount of change for the better in such a short amount of time. We have reduced, not only the volume, but the clicks and openings of malicious email and cybersecurity vulnerabilities in the workspace. KnowBe4 does an amazing job in protecting your users from potential security risks and allows you to confirm or deny any assumption it makes. It will literally take emails that it's AI thinks is bad out of all users email, if it falls within the right criteria you set up, then send it to your KnowBe4 inbox for review using Virus Total. KnowBe4 also gives you tons of insight and analytics of your current roll out so that you can make any other changes outside of KnowBe4 to further enhance the security and experience. All around KnowBe4 is 10/10 in my book and I would recommend them to any small, medium, or larger side of medium business that has unexperienced users in terms of cyber-security awareness. The only thing I would have to say that would be considered "bad" is when you start to get more than a couple hundred users, it can get kind of pricey. However, most businesses of that size can afford it when you look at their capital.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The main problems that I have been able to solve with KnowBe4 is training my users from the ground up. KnowBe4 offers, in my opinion, the best training services for a cyber-security awareness platform. They offer many training modules that you can then setup into campaigns based off of user determined criteria. Say for instance someone clicks on a simulated phishing email that you have setup within a phishing campaign. Well KnowBe4 allows you to setup "remedial training" for users that have been found to click on simulated phishing emails and automatically enrolls them in the training you choose. You can start at the ground and work your way all the way to the top, from the most basic security concepts and training modules to the most advanced. You will be able to teach your users and learn a bit more about cyber-security awareness yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

So many features we like. The Phish Alert button in Outlook, ability to query our Office 365 user mailboxes to remove Phish email. Love the engaging training library with lots of positive feedback from our users. They like some of the funny characters in videos while learning. Another excellent feature is ability to send fake phishing emails that are harmless but test what users have learned. This way you can concentrate learning to users that need additional training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I can't think of one thing I dislike about KnowBe4's security training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

There is none better in my opinion. They cover all the bases for end users training and keep updated security testing related to recent events and attacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It was always a pain to keep up with new hires and brining them up to speed. This makes this so much easier by assigning new hires to initial onboarding training. I now know which users need additional training based on their testing results. Biggest resolution is knowing who need additional training and where vulnerabilities exist. Without KnowBe4 training you don't really know your users ability to spot malicious email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I really enjoyed how my service rep helped my set up our trainings and Phishing tests and then checked in with me on the results and guided me on how to improve. The dashboard is a great resource for ensuring that all employees are participating and for documenting their results so that they can improve. They also have a great variety of training modules. Instead of just a library of boring videos, there are games and interactive puzzles. They update their library every year so your users are not just doing the same modules over and over again. They also have trainings in multiple languages which is great for international companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much to dislike. Everything was easy to set up and the cost was reasonable. My only critique is that during the phishing test, knowbe4 used very old websites to 'trick' our users. The sites chosen were so out of date that users easily figured out that the emails were not legitimate without much effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would definitely recommend working with KnowBe4. They assist you from start to finish, the set up is easy, and the benefits to your staff are immeasurable. Security issues can be incredibly expensive so it is incredibly important to train your employees before incidents occur rather than after. The cost is totally reasonable especially considering how extensive their library is. I love the gamification of the security information. It ensures users are enthusiastically participating in your trainings. We follow HIPAA and their HIPAA trainings are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our users hated HIPAA training. They said it was boring and covered what they already knew. KnowBe4 provided enjoyable, in-depth training. The phishing tests were a great way to remind our users to be vigilant online, especially as we work from home during covid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Phishing templates. / automation / coordination of phishing results with remedial training / reporting / csv downloads for use in Power BI/ customer service,/ smart groups;

Everything in the KB4 suite works together to provide the best information security training and testing that we have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The little I have found fault with in the past was satisfactorily addressed and no longer exists. There is nothing I currently dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I can't provide a comparison to KB4 competitors because I have only used KB4. However, I can say that I have been 100% pleased with the product, the rate of feature additions, the relationship to the company, and the support they provide on an ongoing basis. I haven't looked at anyone else because I don't have any unmet need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Administering and managing annual information security training. Evaluating the state of our human shield. Identifying and reeducating risky employees. With KB4, we went in one year from a 30% phishing failure rate to < 3%. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The content has been very helpful and informative for my users. Most claim to have learned quite a bit, and talk about what they discover from the modules. I also appreciate the variety of tools available to the administrator(s) that help make it easy to grab useful data in easy to present formats such as graphics, graphs, and charts to decision-makers and other parties of import. The additional ability to take all of that data, and cross-reference to historical data to show/track progress has enabled me to justify renewing our subscription with KnowBe4 as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The organization of the administrative console is a little tedious to manage and navigate, but even still is very workable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

When looking for user training, I strongly suggest focusing the pitch as it were on the practicality of the content for the cost of getting it. I know as a non-profit, my organization can hardly imagine not achieving a great ROI, but compared to the costs of dedicated security appliances or software suites, it is a much lower cost for a much greater benefit to ROI with KnowBe4. Even still, having compared a number of other products some years back before we opted to work with KnowBe4, their content and the people they have giving their expert input to develop it are second to none in my opinion.

The administrative console also provides a lot of useful information in practical formatting both for viewing and presentation to executives and other decision-making parties (things like graphical representations of the data like charts and graphs that can you can screen-shot, print, or snip and drop into slideshows or such, making it much easier to provide useful info in a laymen-accessible format to leadership. The ability to track changes in user behavior based upon their handling or treatment of simulated phishing emails and such has proven very useful to me, as well as all of the info and tools I mentioned helping to justify continued expenditure towards addressing the human-element of security that I know some security teams or officers can at times struggle to get other leadership to sign off on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

User awareness of the constant risks and threats posed especially by communication and social engineering was almost completely lacking outside of the C-suite at our organization, prior to our starting to work with KnowBe4. Both in general, and even among the leadership team, awareness has increased significantly, and user wariness of potentially malicious content and activities has very visibly increased over the past few years since we began to work with KnowBe4. What do you like best?

I like the interface, I spend the bulk of my time, on the Training, Users, and Reporting Tab. Some of my users enjoy collecting badges. It seems every time I log into the system I receive a refresh button so I'm glad the site is constantly being refreshed with updates. I like the notifications feature for our managers on a campaign. I thought about setting up security roles to allow the managers access to pull their own reports on their divisions, so security roles are very helpful in this aspect. Saves me time from having to pull the report... ;-) The ASAP feature has been helpful, I've used it as a guide during the implementation process and I like how it points to different articles setting things up within the system. I'm glad users are beginning to stop and think and it's thanks to the phishing test and training which I've only done 2 Baseline for our IT Department and for our non-it users and only 1 training campaign. More will be coming out in the Spring for our new hires. I'm a fan of the Scam of the Week and Security Hit and Tips Campaign. The dashboard gives me a birds-eye view of everything. I can't wait to see what our phish-prone % is when another phishing campaign is complete. That should be interesting. I believe our users find their end easy to navigate except after they complete the training they can never figure out how to get back to it to print their certificate. We definitely have customized KnowBe4 with our brand to ensure our users don't delete the messages especially when notifications get set out to our users notifying them of training or how many days they have completed the training. I'm glad the reporting is in CSV because I take out a couple of columns that I don't feel the managers need to see like the Groups I've created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a way you can merge 2 campaigns into one. I had it originally set up for users who completed the SAPA would automatically receive the training materials. Those who did not end up with a new training campaign with the same material setup for them. I may be the only user faced with this particular situation but a merge feature would be nice especially if it's the same training material in both campaigns. It would be helpful if once a campaign has started and you need to edit and add a particular group to that campaign that would be an option as oppose to merging. When I contacted support I wasn't keen on having to create a separate login to view images that support was sending me. That I found annoying. :-). Even though I'm a proponent of Security Roles, I didn't see why under the General Tab the role requires at least Read access under Account Settings. I want to use 2nd Chance so badly but the killer for us was our users had to be using Internet Explorer 11. Most of our users are Chrome or Firefox. SAPA I had some feedback from some of the questions, I know KnowBe4 polls a select group of people for these questions but a feedback box from our users would have been appreciated. As an administrator of the accounts that are within the system, there are based on our Groups in Active Directory and are pulled through the AD Sync. I wish there was a way to download a provisioning report when a batch of users has been added, removed. I know we can go into the provisioning tab and look at groups, users, memberships, but a report would be so nice. I'm sure KnowBe4 is just not for the education industry but as an educational institute we do have users who are Spring Employees and Fall Employees I have found a way to manage by using Smart Criteria I just feel it will get out of hand if Im not to careful. Recommendations to others considering the product:

KnowBe4 is a relatively easy platform to use. I reviewed InfoSecIQ and I wasn't really impressed with their platform. Our only hiccup was during the SSO portion because we use QuickLaunch SSO and some of the verbiages on the instructions didn't match our SSO portal. Eventually, we got there. I'm a fan of the security roles feature because it allows me to practice the principle of least privilege. I have coordinator groups setup and those responsible for GLBA, FERPA, and other compliance areas are responsible for their own team and training material making sure their team gets the required training. The diamond platform includes several compliance modules: FERC/NERC/FERPA, FFIEC, GLBA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and Sarbanes-Oxley. I plan on utilizing some more of these compliance modules for our end users. Another cool feature is the Phish Alert Button (PAB). I have most of my users reporting "suspicious" emails to me using that feature, however, our Firefox users are not allowed to participate as it's for Outlook, Outlook Web Access, Office 365, GSuite (Chrome Extension), and the Outlook Mobile App (for iOS and Android). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Part of my newly created position was to develop Security Awareness Training for our users. I was dreading the training creation because I knew it would take a lot of time for me to develop the material myself. So KnowBe4 ticked that box for us. Users have been giving me feedback on some of the training materials on what they liked and didn't like. The majority of them enjoy Kevin Mitnick's video's that I have added from the Modstore. Our users are taking cybersecurity awareness training pretty seriously, and I'm thankful for that. A user came up and told me recently that I'm teaching them well because now they stop and think before clicking, also their phone was stolen so they knew exactly what to do because of the training. Feedback is essential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
