For example) when I’m in a meeting I’ll admit, there are days where I’m not entirely awake and sometimes people’s words can get drowned out in my ears, what I like the most is that it will play it back on Audio and I can hear what the speaker is saying and any other side comments. My otter will transcribe everything and keep things simple and also has the ability to add bullet points per section of the audio clip. My favorite part would have to be if I had any question at all, even theoretical questions, that it will give me a good idea based off the lecture / information itself. I’ve tried to use other transcribers out there and they don’t offer what Otter Ai has to offer. It’s so much more than just some Artifical Intelligent note taker, it’s seriously my lifeline. **What do you dislike about Otter.ai?** The only thing I don’t like about Otter is the recording minutes per plan you’d choose from. I started with the basic and it was awesome but upgraded to pro due to needing more minutes. I thought 1200 in app recording minutes were good for me but I realized that some people really love to talk and had to upgrade it again to Business where it offered 6000 minutes. I wish there was an option for unlimited minutes but the plans for business and enterprise only go up to 6000 minutes per user. Not sure why that is but other than that, the app is pretty great. Does what it needs to do and more. **What problems is Otter.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems that otter solves is when you are finished transcribing everything you can ask it anything. You can ask where you can find a previous conversation and it will go back to that time stamp and I’m able to review my previous audios. I’m also able to rename my audio titles so I’m less discombobulated. ### 4. Their meeting bot is fairly reliable, they organize conversations into channels, and the search and summarization features are intuitive and useful. **What do you dislike about Otter.ai?** Otter's support is among the worst of any SaaS company I've worked with. They are impossibly slow to respond, and it's rare that they actually resolve the issues you're reaching out about. For example, we occasionally have new staff members whom we invite into our Otter account, and Otter claims that their email addresses are invalid and prevents them from finishing account creation. Their support team neither responds quickly nor do they actually solve the issue. We still today have two team members who are unable to use Otter. This leads to the next point, which is that their account management and account lifecycle features are truly among the worst. As a business, it's very difficult to manage accounts and licenses. When employees leave the company, there's no clear and workable path for what to do with their data after they depart. I no longer am writing everything down, trying to keep up with the instructors, power slides, diagrams and Ted Talk videos . Because Otter transcribes everything, I can follow along with my instructor’s lectures. I can follow along for when a student asks a question. I can participate and engage in the lesson because I am no longer stuck in “mad” writing mode trying to write everything down yet nothing makes sense until after I write down what I wrote. The Otter app has helped change all that. At the end of lecture I read through the transcripts then I ask it questions, I give Otter a quiz and then I remember these quiz Q&A to apply on real course quizzes and cumulative test.
