It might mislabel speakers or treat one person as two, which makes reviewing the transcript confusing sometimes. **What problems is Otter.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a time management tool for me and also makes my job a lot easier, I don't have to take notes, I can depend on otter to do so. It’s now much easier to stay on top of what was said and what needs to happen next, and I can work more efficiently as a result. With Otter.ai's ability to manage vocabulary, I was able to insert various terms and nicknames that we use in house, and Otter was quickly able to learn these words, eliminating further transcript editing. **What do you dislike about Otter.ai?** I’ve noticed that when I use Otter.ai during conference talks, it doesn’t always distinguish clearly between different speakers. It also frequently assigns the wrong name to a voice, so I end up spending more time than I’d like going back and editing the transcript. **What problems is Otter.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** By eliminating the manual input of meeting minutes, and having to have an admin in each conference call for the sole purpose of recording meeting minutes, we have allowed our admin team to become more efficient with their time. We have also been able to use the recordings and generated summaries to help with follow up on certain action items, ensuring that all team members are fully aware of their assigned tasks, eliminating team members from forgetting or not knowing the action items assigned. ### 4. With other solutions, it's based on each video/audio feed. This means if there are 3 people in-person in a conference room, it counts this all as one person. With otter, I can just put my phone on the table with the app open and it labels everyone correctly in the transcript. I don't even have to have my computer with me or be logged into the meeting. Also there's not a AI attendee to the meeting, which feels intrusive sometimes. **What do you dislike about Otter.ai?** It's expensive compared other options, but I think it's 100% worth it. **What problems is Otter.ai solving and how is that benefiting you?** It accurately transcribes my meetings, so I can go back and see who said what and get a nice AI summary. In product marketing, people have often say some real gems about products. This makes sure I catch them all. I aslo interview people for case studies, and this makes sure I capture all the details and also quotes for including in the write-up. ### 9.
