Google Meet is a great meeting solution. It has better background effects than most other meeting spaces, and its interactive tools, such as polls and Q&A, help promote participation. It works seamlessly with Google Workspace, and you can set up a Google Meet directly from your calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a company that works with a mulititude of people and businesses, the meet is dependant on a Google Accout, which not everyone has. We typically have to use Jitsi in the place of Googe meet when meeting with certian people and companies. Also, some features require a third-party app that is inconvinet. I work for a company that collaborates with a wide range of people and businesses. We rely on Google Meet, but not everyone has a Google account. When meeting with certain people or companies, we often have to use Jitsi instead. In addition, some features require a third-party app, which is inconvenient. I like Google Meet for its simplicity and ease of use. It's very straightforward to schedule and join meetings, especially since it integrates seamlessly with Google Calendar and Gmail. The video and audio quality are generally reliable, and it works well across devices without requiring additional software. I also appreciate that it's secure and doesn’t have complicated setup processes, making it a great choice for quick meetings or team collaborations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike about Google Meet is that it sometimes struggles with connectivity issues, especially when there are a lot of participants or poor internet connections. The audio and video quality can occasionally drop, which can be frustrating during important meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NOTHING TO SAY DISLIKE ABOUT GOOGLE MEET. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how Google Meet has been constantly updated to fulfill our needs, this is a tool that I've used for meetings in every remote work I've had, it's very simple to use specially if you're in a desktop although it's always installed on my phone in case I need to join a meeting during an outage or on the go.
Over the years, they've added new features to customize the meetings; I used to use it for just one-on-one huddles but now in our workplace it's used for group meetings; you can change your background and make use of filters which makes it fun to use!
Another great feature is the active noise cancelling, I've noticed that when in meetings you can bearly hear the other person's background noice, which is unique on Google Meet, I haven't seen this feature in other apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like everything about Google Meet so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setup is super easy—just send a link, and anyone can join without having to download anything (which is a huge plus when you’re dealing with clients or team members who aren’t tech-savvy). The video and audio quality are solid, even if my internet connection isn’t the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One small downside is that sometimes it feels a bit bare-bones compared to other platforms that offer more interactive tools and background customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ITs fast and stable video conferencing app that do not require high speed internet connection to maintin proper connection with other parties. Its super easy to setup as it just one click to start a meeting and another to co invite people. Customer support is also top notch as it is a google product. I use meet multiple times a week and never fased any issues in my weekly meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it requires more ram than other lightweight video conferencing apps like zoom. It does not have many controls to properly moderate the meeting and is unable to maintin a proper channel for more than 11 people. It's also terrible to use as a brodacasting tool for a mass conference . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Google meet is the most optimised seamless and easy to use video collaboration platform that has inbuilt functionalities to note taking , brain storming , transcript recoding, video recording, Activities, Polling and much more.Easy to intergrate as events create in Google Calendar are seen on the meeting main page Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some time the network optimization is not good, audio devices are not recognized specially on the Mac Devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Google meet since past 6 months and it's been a wonderful experience. It's easier for me to communicate, screen share. The video calls are also marvellous and especially the emojis, we can react to whatever we want if we don't have to react using words which creates more fun and indulgence into the conversation. I only dislike one thing that if the meet link is shared to anyone, kindly give the access to everyone. If the link is for public it shoule be accessible for everyone rather than waiting for someone to join in until they are being pulled into the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"Google Meet is a reliable and user-friendly video conferencing tool that seamlessly integrates with other Google Workspace apps. Its free tier is generous, offering essential features like screen sharing, live captions, and real-time collaboration. The interface is intuitive, making it easy for users of all technical levels to join and host meetings. While some advanced features require a subscription, the overall experience is smooth and efficient, making it a great choice for both personal and professional use.
