"Thoughtful Engineering Culture Solving Meaningful Mobility and Safety Challenges"
What do you like best about Woven?

I like Woven has a thoughtful engineering culture with a clear mission and real, meaningful problems to solve.

The cross-functional collaboration and trong technical discipline make it easy to build reliable, scalable systems.

You get balance of innovation and structure, plus the chance to work on impactful, large-scale mobility and safety challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

Sometimes the organization can feel a bit complex, and navigating cross-team processes can slow things down.

The decision-making structure can be a little layered, so getting alignment across teams isnot always fast.

Because the problems are large and interdisciplinary, it can take extra effort to coordinate and keep momentum across different groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-World Technical Tests That Feel Like the Job"
What do you like best about Woven?

The technical test format I’ve received from Woven focuses on problems that closely resemble what you’d encounter in real-life scenarios. This feels different from the usual automated tests that simply assign generic DSA questions, often with no proper testing environment and very limited time. The scoring and review process is also well structured, and the feedback is detailed and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I expected some kind of screen or camera recording, or at least something that shows I’m actually being monitored. For example, in situations where I’m instructed not to use human assistance, I assumed I’d be penalised if I did. But I’m not sure how they would even know if there’s no camera or screen capture. And if there’s no real way to monitor it, it doesn’t feel fair, because some people could break the rules, struggle less, and not be penalised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Very Modern Take on Interviewing"
What do you like best about Woven?

I have participated in technical interviews with companies that primarily emphasize mathematical problem-solving skills and familiarity with algorithms. As a senior software engineer, I frequently need to revisit topics I haven't used since college, even when applying for experienced roles. I believe that focusing on "Work Simulations" is a much better approach, as it demonstrates that I am truly capable of performing the tasks required in the job description, rather than just being theoretically qualified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I understand that the challenge time constraints level the playing field, but I wish I was able to read through the question prompt before the timer starts. Often it took me 5-10 minutes to fully read and understand the prompt, but the challenge would only give me 20-30 minutes to complete it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Better Way to Showcase Real Engineering Skills in Interviews"
What do you like best about Woven?

The most challenging thing about modern tech interviews is the format in which they assess you being so heavily skewed towards data structures and algorithms, which no engineer uses on a daily basis unless they are actively interviewing.

Woven gives you a way to show what you can actually do as an engineering professional, so you are assessed on your merit and not on your memorization skills. With their assessments, I feel confident in my ability to demonstrate my value to an employer without having to cram study DS and A while maintaining a full time job. It makes me feel like I am actually putting all I am capable of towards the interview process, so whether I get an offer or not, I can feel like the employer actually got to see my skills and judge the fit on that.

I will always prefer a Woven assessment to any other style, and feel the are successfully fixing the broken engineering interview system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I do feel some of the time boxed assignments are too short for the scope of the ask. Also, I wish some of the feedback around hidden tests was more detailed. And on the feedback, it would be cool if they had references for things you were weak on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A fair and realistic way to evaluate engineering skills"
What do you like best about Woven?

Woven makes technical assessments feel much more structured and fair compared to traditional interviews. I really like how the challenges focus on real-world engineering thinking instead of just trivia questions. The interface is simple to use, and the instructions for each task are clear, which helps reduce stress during timed exercises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

Some of the instructions can feel a bit intimidating at first because they emphasize time limits and restrictions heavily. It would be nice if there were more examples or practice modes before starting real challenges. Also, navigating between different challenge sections could be slightly smoother. "A Thoughtful, Real-World Engineering Assessment"
What do you like best about Woven?

I liked the format. It feels much closer to real engineering work compared to typical algorithm assessments.

The scenarios require practical debugging, system thinking, and clear communication, which better reflects real production environments.

Overall it was a thoughtful and engaging assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

Nothing significant. The experience was smooth overall. If anything, clearer time expectations for each scenario could help candidates manage their pace even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Refreshing Approach to Technical Interviews"
What do you like best about Woven?

What I appreciated most about the interview process at Woven was its clarity and conciseness. The tasks presented were highly relevant to the job and not overly complex, and I particularly appreciated that expectations were clearly communicated at the beginning of the interview.

The feedback after the evaluation was also very helpful. Instead of simply stating whether I passed or failed, they provided specific feedback on my strengths and areas for improvement. Overall, I felt it was a fair and professional process that focused on evaluating actual skills rather than trying to trick candidates with difficult questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

My only reservation about Woven is that there isn't much opportunity for additional questions or discussion during the evaluation process. The assignments themselves are excellent, but especially when working alone without real-time feedback, it can be difficult to be sure you're fully understanding the intentions of the assignment creator.

Other than that, I have no complaints. Overall, the process is very smooth! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Woven Review for SEP Application !"
What do you like best about Woven?

I enjoyed using Woven because of the real-world problems it provides along with the IDE which supports several programming languages.

It also has a notes section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

It would be nice to be able to separate the notes window into a sub-window or separate panel/window within the UI.

I would suggest perhaps having some small problems to build up into bigger logical problems.

I believe 2 problems does not sound like much, but at first glance it can seem like a lot. (honestly it was not, the problems were straight forward, I did overthink/underthink in some areas)

However, this can put some pressure on interviewees. It could be wise and more effective to split problems into smaller problems or sections (ex Problem 1 has 3 or 4 mini problems and same going for Problem 2 -- or leave that up to the developer if it is something worth gauging. "Better than most interviews still worthless"
What do you like best about Woven?

The interview experience is generally practical and resembles real life on the job more than leetcode style interviews. This is definitely much more realistic than typical coding problems which repeat the same problems throughout industry. However, the very small window of time to complete each task is very unrealistic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I would really appreciate a debugging solution with breakpoints. I would also appreciate more time to finish a quality response. I am a senior engineer with 9 years and I cannot complete the coding assessment how does that make sense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Highly Relevant Technical Test Experience"
What do you like best about Woven?

I found the technical test very relevant. Another important aspect for me, was that care shown by the recruiter, Wes Winler. He wasn’t only concerned about why I hadn’t submitted the technical test, but he also understand my time constraints during those days. I really appreciate that. If I, as as candidate, was treated like this, I can only imagine how well I would be treated if I became an employee Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Woven?

I cannot say anything that I have disliked about Woven Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
