"Flexible, Secure Browser Management for Enterprises"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

As an enterprise-managed version of Chrome, it offers organizations the flexibility to provide employees with organization-specific tools, extensions, and bookmarks. At the same time, it ensures that the browsing environment remains secure for all users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

The frequent updates sent to users can become an issue, as each update requires a restart. This interrupts ongoing tasks and creates unnecessary hurdles, especially since these updates often bring little to no noticeable improvement to the overall experience. "User-Friendly and Secure, but Compatibility Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

I appreciate that Chrome Enterprise serves as both an operating system and a collaboration tool in my company, which simplifies our technological framework significantly. The security features provide peace of mind by effectively removing the hassle of managing multiple devices securely. I love the user-friendly and easy-to-use interface, which makes management tasks feel effortless. The clean design saves me a lot of time by allowing me to find menus easily and without complications, streamlining my daily operations. The setup process for Chrome Enterprise was surprisingly simple; I only needed to input my email and set a password, and then the straightforward setup began, which made transitioning to this system remarkably easy. Additionally, I enjoy using Chrome Enterprise alongside Google Workspace and other Google internal tools, fostering a smooth and integrated workflow. Switching from traditional PCs to the Chrome OS was beneficial as it supports Google tools effectively, offering robust security and smooth operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

Sometimes compatibility with certain apps and software creates hindrance to work with them, especially those that need full desktop support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Compliance Features and Google Workspace Integration"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

A key business feature is the ability for IT teams to configure company-specific Internet policies to ensure compliance with all regulated bodies for audit reviews and security/protection of sensitive data. It is also handy to integrate with Google Workspace for a holistic approach to Internet safety.

The Chrome Enterprise Core is usually a free add-on which is a financial plus, particularly for smaller companies, with the option to upgrade to Premium for more advanced security tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

The Chrome Enterprise Premium package, although more capable from a security perspective, does carry a fee per user. As such, for companies who do not have large budgets, this could be a deterrent for wider adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Version Control & Policy Management, But Admin Console Needs Streamlining"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

Version control that matches test strategy. We pin cohorts to Stable, Beta, and LTS and promote rings gradually. That lets us run smoke on Beta, full regression on Stable, and keep a frozen LTS for “is it a Chrome change or our code?” questions. Zero drama when a web-platform change lands.

Policies = reproducibility. With browser cloud management, we ship the same config to laptops and CI images: auto-update cadence, Safe Browsing, third-party cookie settings, site isolation, hardware acceleration, and a small set of allowed flags. Tests stop failing because someone toggled a flag locally.

Extension discipline. Only whitelisted extensions auto-install (devtools helpers, SSO helpers), everything else is blocked. Our UI tests run in clean profiles and we avoid “mystery extension modified the DOM” flakes.

Auth & certs that “just work.” Kerberos/NTLM/IdP and internal CA certs are pushed by policy, so staging and preview URLs behave like prod for SSO and mTLS. That means fewer bespoke test hooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

Policy propagation lag. Admin changes can take a while to reach every device, so CI and dev laptops aren’t always in sync during fast experiments.

Precedence can be opaque. Org-level vs. OU/group policy layering is powerful but confusing; one stray override can undo your carefully crafted test profile.

Driver/version footguns. ChromeDriver/WebDriverManager mismatches still bite on fresh runner images when we also pin browser versions.

UI surface area. The admin console is dense, finding the exact policy (and its OS caveats) is not as crisp as it could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Browser Management with Strong Security"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

I like using Chrome Enterprise for secure and centralized browser management. It helps me control policies, manage extensions, and ensure safety. I appreciate the centralized and strong security controls that save me time by letting me apply security policies, manage extensions, and control access from one place. I also like the seamless integration with Google Workspace, which makes user management easy, especially with sign-ins and policy enforcement. Deploying and scaling are simple, and switching to Chrome Enterprise from our previous setup was smooth, particularly because of the existing use of Google Workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

Some advanced settings can feel a bit complex at first, especially for new admins. Better in-product guidance or simpler explanations for certain policies would make it easier to manage and onboard users faster. Some security and policy settings, like fine-grained extensions controls, device policies, and user-based restrictions, can take time to fully understand. The documentation could be improved with more real-world examples, step-by-step use cases and clearer explanations of policy impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies IT Management, Room for More Features"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

I use Chrome Enterprise to centrally manage Chrome browsers and ChromeOS devices. It helps enforce security, deploy apps and settings, and simplify IT operations across many users and machines. I find it makes Chrome easier, safer, and more consistent to use at work. I appreciate how it's easy to use and manage others' profiles while being in control. The initial setup was pretty easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

I dislike the limited support for legacy apps and the sometimes clunky admin console. Inconsistent Android app support and basic reporting are also frustrating. Plus, high-end hardware options are limited. It could be improved with better analytics, smoother integration with Microsoft environments, more flexible app deployment, a more intuitive admin UI, and stronger offline capabilities. "Great for Multitasking but Needs Better Memory Management"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

I like using Chrome Enterprise because I can have multiple tabs open simultaneously, which is great for browsing, reviewing, and searching while coding. It's convenient that I can close my computer and restart it with all the tabs exactly how I left them. I appreciate that I can do almost everything in Chrome Enterprise, although an internet connection is necessary. The initial setup was easy and uncomplicated, even though I haven't used its full potential yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

I feel that Chrome Enterprise uses too much memory, and if the system is not capable, the experience is bad. It's difficult to use the maximum space of the screen in a small window. It would be good to have an option for hiding the tabs and other things from the top while using a particular tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Management with Chrome Enterprise"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

I love how the Chrome Enterprise extension made my workflow as a data associate much more efficient. By using it, I can export reviews directly into a CSV file, saving me from days of manual work. It's a fast, user-friendly, and time-managing tool that became a standard part of my workflow. I really like that there's no complex management needed at the user end, which makes it incredibly easy to use and manage at scale. The setup was extremely easy too, just a simple Chrome add-on that I installed directly from the Chrome Web Store, and it was ready to use immediately. I also appreciate that it allows me to export data directly from G2's product reviews without the need for copy-pasting each review manually, effectively solving the time gap issue. It's very easy, saves plenty of time, and makes data extraction much easier now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

The one thing which could be improved is how it handles the large volumes of reviews. Sometimes while exporting the reviews of thousands of entries it takes a bit of time. In my case it has crashed 2 or 3 times too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, But Customer Support Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

I really like the UI and interface of Chrome Enterprise because it's mostly easy to use. It's not difficult for a new person to tackle, unlike others in the field which are complex. Chrome Enterprise helps me with its inbuilt features, especially when I'm doing research on specific things. It's ahead in this field compared to others. Adaptation to Chrome Enterprise was much easier, and I’m more than happy to stick with it. It was our first preference and choice, and we are happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

I feel like the AI management is lesser, and the customer support could be better. A lot of the frequently asked questions seem kind of dumb, and it just doesn't cut it when you run into issues. Even though it's easy to use, there are times when we face problems, and customer support is not great, which is vital. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My go-to browser for Productivity and security despite occassional slow-downs."
What do you like best about Chrome Enterprise?

Chrome enterprise provides an excellent balance between performance and control. The centralized management console makes it easy for admins to deploy, update and manage browsers across devices. The browser also managed passwords efficiently and can store multiple credentials at once. It also recalls information to automatically fill out Google forms and respond to questions. Additionally Chrome's smooth integration and removal of extensions are great beginner friendly features that offers a wide range of features with minimal efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Chrome Enterprise?

Initial setup and policy configuration might feel a little complex for new admins, but once configured it runs smoothly with minimal maintenance. Sometimes, however saved passwords may get updated or replaced dute to data synchronisation, occasionally overwriting existing details. In addition althe browser can experience a lag or site crashes when handling a high volume of tabs or tasks, so it's best to manage usage to prevent performance issues.
