## Amplitude Analytics Reviews
 ### 1. All company has now the ability to answer Product Questions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo S. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Use MCP to connect Claude and schedule Cowork tasks to monitor the business and resolve customer support issues. You can A/B test your features through experimentation, and the user-level event tracking is especially helpful: you can jump into a specific user and see every event they’re doing, with full details, which is great for QA on events. It’s also easy to start for free with a solid monthly event allowance.

On the analytics side, event segmentation is a fast way to build meaningful charts and answer product questions. You can ask Amplitude AI for insights about your product, use conversion funnels to understand how users convert and track conversion over time, and use Pathfinder to see which events trigger other events. Retention reporting also makes it clear how cohorts are retained over time.

Speed up your analysis with fast charts and dashboards. Anyone in the company will have access to product performance. Clear UI and build together with Amplitude AI Agent.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Charts are limited to a 1-year window. If you want to view 2 years of data, you have to create two separate charts. This also makes it hard to properly measure Conversion events over periods longer than a year, which is a limitation when trying to track annual renewals for subscription apps.

The Block events feature is a great tool for limiting event volume, but it would be even better if you could segment it by platform—for example, blocking an event only for Android.

**Recommendations to others considering Amplitude Analytics:**

Like with every analytics tool do an analysis of what events to track before implementing

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Anyone in the company can access and answer product questions, especially now with an AI Agent or by using MCP with Claude or ChatGPT.

It also helps you spot technical issues in your app. For example, we discovered our Gmail social login was failing on the first attempt, so users had to try twice, and many dropped off at that step.

You can better understand how users behave, including which features they use and how intensely they use them. We realized some features were not very valuable, while others were, and we experimented with feature visibility to drive more adoption.

It’s also useful for identifying which events drive retention and for finding where users drop off in your onboarding funnel.

 ### 2. Amplitude Unifies Analytics and Session Replay for Faster Funnel Debugging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo M. | FullStack Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best is how Amplitude brings product analytics and Session Replay together in one place. We track complex quote and bind funnels across web and mobile, and being able to jump from a drop-off in a chart straight into a replay of what the user experienced makes debugging and prioritization much faster than digging through logs alone.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

When event properties aren’t structured consistently across client and server, cross-platform funnels can fail silently—you see drop-offs without an obvious reason until someone audits the payload shape. That’s less an Amplitude flaw than a consequence of how much control you have, but it’s the kind of downside that bites growing teams.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude solves the problem of not knowing what users actually do in our product. We can track key business events, build funnels, and spot abandonment early. That benefits us by shortening the loop from “something feels broken” to “here’s where and why”—so we fix the right issues and improve conversion with evidence behind every change.

 ### 3. Advanced Analytics, Challenging for Non-Technical Users

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srushti W. | Senior Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like using Amplitude because it’s powerful but still easy to work with. I don’t have to export data to Excel since I can do all my analysis in one place. The charts and visualizations make it simple to explore the data and dig deeper when needed. Features like Session Replay and Cohort Analysis are very helpful to understand user behavior. I also find the Event Segmentation, Funnel, and Retention charts especially useful for my day-to-day analysis. Getting started was pretty straightforward with the help of their documentation.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It isn’t very intuitive or easy to use for a non-technical audience. Many non-technical users find it overwhelming and often need ongoing support from the data team to understand their reports and to create their own.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me better understand product growth, retention rates, and churn indicators. It allows me to analyze user journeys, key funnels, and where users drop off, and it also supports deeper data analysis through its advanced features and visualizations.

 ### 4. Rapid, Shareable Insights Without Needing SQL

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Billy . | Digital Analytics Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The ability to rapidly answer questions that would be otherwise time-consuming and potentially require specialised knowledge of tools like SQL as well as being able to easily dig deeper, investigating related information in a way that can easily be visualised and shared with others.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Much harder to find things I dislike about it than things I like. The only thing that really comes to mind is that the ease of use sometimes comes at the cost of being able to perform some complex analyses.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to identify and monitor key customer journeys and where issues are occurring so we can best focus our efforts when it comes to things like where we should improve.

It also empowers more of our team to be hands on and familiar with exactly how our users interact with us online, which in turn means that future products involve less guesswork and are instead led by what we can see our users are most likely to appreciate/use.

 ### 5. Amplitude Helped Me Think Like a PM With Measurable, Structured Events

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stratulat R. | software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I’m a software engineer, not a PM - but Amplitude helped me think like one on a recent project. Structured events turned “is anyone using this?” into something I could measure. I stopped guessing what to fix or improve next and started deciding based on usage and failure patterns. That’s what I like best: it bridges engineering and product without a separate analytics stack.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It takes real event hygiene to get value - messy tracking becomes messy charts. The UI is powerful but can feel oriented toward PMs, not engineers doing one-off debugging. Pricing and limits can bite once volume grows. Worth it, but not zero maintenance.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It turns behavior into structured events you can explore without custom dashboards or waiting on analysts. On my project, I could see adoption, drop-offs, and error patterns in one place and answer product-style questions (“Is this used?” “What’s breaking?” “What should we prioritize?”) with data.

 ### 6. Amplitude Makes Funnel & Segmentation Analysis Easy with a Clean UI and Helpful AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kashyap V. | Product Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude is an extremely helpful product analytics team that any product or data-driven team member can benefit from. My team uses pretty much the entire amplitude product suite. Its incredibly easy to get started through both their documentation and AI agentic capabilities. Building funnel / segmentation analysis through Amplitude is easy to setup. The UI is clean, and easy to get going with. Recently they've introduced their AI capabilities which has been useful to understand certain dashboards / parts of our funnel, and also to build out net-new funnel. Its very easy to setup integrations through the platform, we currently have our data sending in from Rudderstack.

I'd highly recommend Amplitude over most other product analytics tools in the market today.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Overall not much. The agentic capabilities are pretty new so at times there are performance issues with that functionality, and times where it may edit certain dashboards and undoing changes through the platform can be difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My teams use Amplitude to unlock realtime user analytics. I work on growth, and Amplitude is probably my #1 used tool today; it makes it very easy to quickly understand how certain experiments are performing. Using their Agentic capabilities helps me to easily pull the right sets of data and present it in a meaningful way.

 ### 7. Empowers Teams with Real-Time Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haider A. | Growth Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate Amplitude Analytics' easy-to-use UI, which allows non-technical teams like design and product to access data without relying on us. The segment and funnel charts are a lifesaver for monitoring and analysis, and I find the ability to download data from a chart very helpful. I value the real-time connectivity and data flow because it's easy to integrate and ensures that events are tracked in real time, which helps reduce the turnaround time for anomaly detection. The initial setup was very easy, and we didn't face much trouble setting it up.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

In the free version, on a dashboard, we cannot change the time range for all visuals at once. We have to adjust each one manually inside each chart one by one. If we have many charts on a dashboard, it can take some time to load.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for real-time insights, conversion metrics, and user behavior tracking. It helps non-technical teams access data easily. Real-time data flow aids anomaly detection, and segments and funnel charts simplify monitoring and analysis.

 ### 8. Intuitive Interface and Amplitude AI That Shines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Buse M. | CRM Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the interface, how easy and intuitive it is to use, it's integration with Slack, and the monitoring features where I can get important alerts straight into my mailbox instantly. One thing I absolutely love though, is the Amplitude's AI - it is too good to be true especially when it comes to analyzing dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Even though the performance on creating dashboards with AI is pretty strong, it can only manage some of the basic charts like segmentation, funnel and retention. Dashboards are really good overall, but the personalization could be better, in my opinion. Also, for some mostly used charts, there are information bubbles everywhere which I really like, but some of the others -in my opinion, the less intuitive ones- doesn't have that supporting bubbles, I'd really like to have them.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me clear insights and makes my decision making process so much easier and data-driven.

 ### 9. A Reliable Shared Source of Truth Across Marketing, Data, and Engineering

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sirigiri H. | Senior MarTech Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude works well as a shared source of truth across marketing, data, and engineering. The same event taxonomy that drives Braze campaigns also powers the analytics dashboards the wider business looks at, so when a campaign isn't behaving as expected, everyone can investigate in the same tool.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude has been shipping a lot of UI changes recently, which is generally good, but it means features sometimes move around or get reorganised between releases. New users in our team have to relearn navigation more than I'd expect, and some older documentation no longer matches what's on screen.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Amplitude solves for us is unblocking marketing from the data team. Without it, every "how many users did X in the last 30 days?" question becomes a SQL ticket and a wait. With Amplitude, the marketing automation team can answer those questions themselves, validate audience sizes before a campaign goes live, and debug behavioural data when something looks off.

 ### 10. Empowers Data-Driven Decisions with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joji S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like Amplitude Analytics for its ability to provide clear and detailed insights into user behavior, which is crucial for tracking user interaction with different app features. The charts feature makes it pretty easy to derive insights, and the ability to track custom events simplifies analyzing feature usage across the app. The dashboards and visualizations save a lot of time and the real-time analytics through live events is very helpful in measuring success and failure metrics.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Real-time data updates may sometimes have delays depending on the volume of events being processed. Better integration visibility and debugging support for developers would make implementation and maintenance easier. Could improve integration visibility by providing more detailed event delivery logs, including clearer information on whether events were successfully sent, delayed or failed and a more developer-friendly debugging console with real-time event inspection would make it easier to validate event payloads.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track user behavior, analyze user journeys, and measure feature adoption. It solves visibility issues by providing detailed analytics and insights, enabling data-driven product decisions.

 ### 11. Powerful Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Digvijay C. | Management Trainee, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find that Amplitude can definitely be a bit of a challenge to pick up at first. The UI is powerful, but navigating through the advanced performance settings and cohort builders can be a steep learning curve for team members just starting out. I also find myself wishing for more intelligent automation around taxonomy management; keeping data clean as we scale requires a lot of manual lifting that I think could be better handled by AI suggestions. From a pricing standpoint, it can also get quite expensive as your data grows, which means we have to stay really hands-on with monitoring to make sure we're seeing the right ROI. A more guided onboarding or deeper native support for these specific scaling pain points would make a big difference in the daily experience.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While the platform is undeniably powerful, it isn’t always the easiest to pick up. The interface can feel overwhelming for new team members, making the learning curve for advanced analysis quite steep. I also find that as our data needs grow, the costs climb fairly quickly, requiring us to be very diligent with monitoring to ensure we’re getting the right value. Additionally, while the integrations are extensive, managing data taxonomy at scale is still a manual effort, and sometimes the performance can feel a bit sluggish when running complex, high-volume queries. It would be a huge help to see more intuitive, AI-driven guidance built into the onboarding process to help new users get up to speed faster, streamline our taxonomy, and optimize overall query performance.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Amplitude, we struggled with fragmented data and slow reporting that made it difficult to validate our metrics quickly. Now, we use it to unify our event tracking and build custom dashboards, which has drastically reduced the manual engineering work we used to rely on. It’s significantly improved our team's workflow—even with the initial learning curve, the ability to dive into complex cohort analyses has transformed how we approach operational decision-making. By leveraging the platform's performance and integrations to keep our data clean, we’re seeing much faster turnaround times on key insights, allowing us to focus our efforts where they actually drive ROI. While scaling costs require diligent monitoring, the visibility we gain into user journeys is invaluable for optimizing our core operations.

 ### 12. Amplitude Makes Engagement Reporting Easy with Powerful Dashboards, Filters, and AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya T. | Digital Programs Manager - Demand Generation, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I'm relatively new to Amplitude, but I've already found it to be a genuinely powerful tool for our team. We've been using it to build dashboards and reports to track user engagement across both our ecommerce platform and our CMS — and getting both set up was far more straightforward than I expected.

What stands out most is how comprehensively it tracks interactions. Every click, session, and funnel step surfaces cleanly, and I haven't hit a wall when trying to drill into something specific. The filtering capabilities have been a real highlight — being able to filter results using properties from our Salesforce integration (like Salesforce account names and instance data) means our engagement reporting is actually tied to our real customer context.

Also, I love the AI assistant. It is just so easy to share your thoughts of what we want to build, and it just does for us. A little tweak here and there but the groundwork is done by the AI, which is a time saver

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The breadth of features can feel overwhelming at first. As a new user, discovering where everything lives takes time, and a more guided onboarding or contextual tips within the dashboard builder would help speed up that initial ramp.

At our company, we had our own simple learning paths/materials that helped. The ones on Amplitude University felt a little overwhelming.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us a lot in tracking our marketing campaign performance across digital platforms and the CMS website. We are getting exactly what our target audience is consuming and how we push them down the marketing funnel.

What is in the process right now - Using Claude - Amplitude connector to further analyse our campaign data and generate insights that can be used in enhancing our campaigns.

 ### 13. Deep configuration and precise AI that guides quickly despite the initial complexity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Freddy R. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that they allow me to deeply configure the data and metrics I want to observe; moreover, the artificial intelligence offers quite a precise guide to achieve what I'm looking for. The interface can be overwhelming at first, but with use and the support of AI, one gets oriented in no time.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The interface is overwhelming, there are many options to choose from and finding something specific can be challenging, but the artificial intelligence was very efficient in helping me with this.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to analyze the metrics of my application. In particular, I needed to review the loading times of two different scenarios to make a decision, and thanks to these metrics, it was easier for me to determine which was the correct path. In short, it helped me improve performance by letting me see the real-time behavior of users, represented in data.

 ### 14. Data-Driven Insights with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad O. | Engineering Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really appreciate the amazing support for TypeScript. Since our entire system is built in TypeScript, being able to download the description of every single event in TypeScript helps us ensure our code isn't drifting away. The branching and versioning features built into their library are great because they allow our team to use the platform in various ways without a single point of failure. Additionally, the Chrome extension makes it much easier for us to test and play around with the system without spending too much time, which is easier compared to alternative options.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I feel like there could be a beginner friendly interface in our company. Our engineering and product team is very savvy in using Amplitude. But some of the other departments find it too intimidating to use Amplitude on a day-to-day basis. Also, giving the ability to build dashboards and then share with specific people would be useful. So essentially not public links, but controlled links where we can just share it with a couple of people via their email. It wasn't actually too easy to set up because we had a mono repo and we didn't have Amplitude from the get-go, so it meant that we had to experiment a lot with how we can make it work.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics lets us dive deeper into data and make sense of it in one platform without too much planning. We can mix different graphs and metrics, enhancing our understanding of user experience and funnel insights.

 ### 15. Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murilo B. | Data Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

 ### 16. Powerful Insights, Slightly Overwhelming UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumisha J. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics primarily to understand my app's behavior and user interactions. I love how it helps me track app failures and gives me a clear chart of events per user with exact data points. The chart and report features are incredibly helpful in deriving decisions—they're just a wow. I appreciate the wide variety of features it provides, making life easier by getting me the data I need. Its ability to show the user journey clearly with proper event validations makes it pretty easy to understand user behavior and quickly see what's useful and what's not. The live events feature is fantastic because it allows me to see the user interactions with my app in real time, helping me know instantly if something is working or broken. The initial setup was pretty simple and straightforward, which I appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes it's hard for me to derive on decisions based on complex reports or data. The chart features help a lot in tracking user events, but sometimes it feels overwhelming with too many options, making it difficult to quickly find what matters to me. And I also felt like we would have made the UI a little simpler, as of now the UI feels a little complex for complicated actions.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me understand app usage and failures with detailed user journey insights. It's great for validating features and making data-driven decisions quickly.

 ### 17. Amplitude Analytics Replaced Multiple Tools for Us Made Tracking Simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim N. | Senior Software Engineer II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

As a software engineer the things I like most about Amplitude Analytics are the simplicity of the UI, being able to quickly gather information about how the users are using the product, what are the most common drop offs, what is converting users well, but also additional information about the user and the user's device can give great insight. Another thing that is very helpful is integrations with other tools which enable us to only log Amplitude events, and have them on other platforms as well such as Braze. Also it supports alerting when anomalies are detected which we've found very useful. Last but not least, feature flags and experiments setup is very intuitive and allows a lot of flexibility in segmenting users and adding variants with payloads. Amplitude has replaced the need for multiple tools to accomplish these things. It's SDK has improved our ways of working with event logging.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Nothing major, some UI quirks such as those when filtering values the dropdown can be hard to interact with it sometimes closes when you don't want it to and similar

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Amplitude Analytics, we struggled with reliably tracking user behavior, especially because analytics requests could be blocked by ad blockers or browser privacy tools. Amplitude helped solve this by supporting proxy-based tracking, which improves the reliability of event collection and gives us more confidence in our product data.
It has also simplified how we manage feature flags and experiments. Previously, this would often require separate tools or more custom engineering work. Now we can manage analytics, experiments, and feature rollouts in one place, which reduces operational overhead and makes it easier to connect product changes with measurable user impact.

 ### 18. Powerful Analytics with Custom Funnels and Charts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aidar K. | Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics with Google Analytics. Amplitude Analytics is very powerful; you can see everything you want, make your own funnel, and make any chart you can think of. It has a lot of features that I love, so yes, this is the best thing about Amplitude Analytics.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude analytics has one main challenge for me: it isn’t always clear what to do next. That said, there are plenty of materials and videos available, and you can also ask any AI for guidance when you get stuck. Overall, I feel these features are designed to support you and make the process easier.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Amplitude Analytics, I can understand where my bottlenecks are and where our customers are struggling with our product. For me, as a startupper, this is a great starting point. They also offer start-up perks, which I really appreciate because when you’re a start-up, you can’t pay a lot of money, so it helps you stay on the saving road.

 ### 19. Comprehensive Product Analytics Made Easier with AI Agents

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry H. | User Experience Researcher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

It covers the full scope of product analytics comprehensively, including marketing channel analysis, product engagement, user cohorts, retention, and more. With the AI agent features, it makes my day-to-day work a lot easier.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The learning curve feels too steep for beginners and occasional users. With the massive number of events and properties we track, it’s almost impossible for those users to jump in and create their own analysis, even with the AI chart creation feature.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the time and effort that used to be required to complete an analysis. For example, watching user session replays can take a lot of time to synthesize. With the session replay AI agent and quick takeaways, I can now spot early usability issues faster and circle back with our design and product team to drive further improvements.

 ### 20. Powerful Analytics Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco B. | Director of CRM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude is how easy it is to understand user behavior without needing a lot of heavy technical work. The interface feels intuitive, the event analysis is powerful, and the segmentation options are very flexible. Overall, it helps teams move faster from data to action and make decisions with more confidence.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some advanced configurations can get complicated pretty quickly, especially when it comes to event governance and managing taxonomy at scale. The learning curve can also be steep for non-technical users, and pricing tends to rise fast as usage increases.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps us understand how users interact with our product throughout the entire journey. It gives us better visibility into feature adoption, funnel drop-offs, retention, and user segmentation. As a result, our teams can make faster product decisions based on real user behavior rather than assumptions.

 ### 21. Clean, Intuitive Dashboards That Make Analytics Easy for Everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yogesh M. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I’ve been using Amplitude and really like how clean and intuitive the dashboard feels. The UI/UX is well designed, and it’s easy to filter users, build funnels, create cohorts, and work with charts without much effort.

What stands out is how simple it is for non-tech teams to use. You don’t need deep technical knowledge to get value from it, and the third-party integrations make it easy to fit into your workflow.

Overall, it’s a powerful and user-friendly analytics tool.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Issue is pricing. As your data grows, costs can increase quite fast, which makes it less friendly for startups or teams trying to stay lean.
Overall, it’s great for ease of use, but can feel restrictive and expensive as you scale.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is clarity. I can quickly see what’s working and what’s not without relying too much on developers or raw data. It helps in making faster product decisions, improving user experience, and identifying growth opportunities based on real user behavior instead of assumptions.

 ### 22. Amplitude Supercharges Insights with MCP Integration, AI Agent, and Standout Guides & Surveys

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federico A. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

First, the MCP integration has been a genuine productivity multiplier. Being able to query Amplitude data directly within my existing workflow, without switching context, has dramatically shortened the path from question to insight. Tasks that used to require multiple steps across tools now happen in a single flow.
Second, the integrated AI agent makes the platform accessible at every level. Instead of manually building charts for every business question, I can ask naturally and get to answers faster. This has been especially valuable for ad hoc analysis and exploratory questions.
Third, Guides and Surveys is a standout feature. The ability to trigger in-app nudges, onboarding flows, and feedback prompts based on behavioral data closes the loop between analytics and action. It lets you engage users at exactly the right moment, with minimal engineering overhead.
Together, these three capabilities make Amplitude feel less like a BI tool and more like an integrated part of how the product team operates.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Event management and schema changes can be challenging at scale. When event names evolve or need restructuring, it tends to have a knock-on effect across charts, dashboards, and cohorts. A more guided migration experience would go a long way in reducing the maintenance burden that comes with a maturing data taxonomy.
Some of the more advanced features have a learning curve. Tools like Pathfinder or custom formula metrics are genuinely powerful, but they reward users who invest time in understanding the platform deeply. Better in-product guidance or contextual tooltips could help teams get more value from these features sooner.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude solves the core challenge every product team faces: turning raw user behavior into decisions you can act on with confidence.
For us, this shows up in a few concrete ways. Funnel and retention analysis lets us understand where learners drop off and what keeps them coming back, which directly shapes how we prioritize features and iterate on the learning experience. Cohort segmentation means we can go beyond surface-level metrics and ask sharper questions, like how engagement differs across skill levels, markets, or acquisition channels.
More broadly, Amplitude reduces the distance between a business question and a reliable answer. That benefits the whole team, but especially as a product manager it means I can walk into decisions, whether about monetization, onboarding, or feature prioritization, with data rather than instinct alone.

 ### 23. Clear, Real-Time User Insights with Intuitive Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anil N. | Senior software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude Analytics is how it delivers clear, real-time insights into user behavior, supported by intuitive dashboards and straightforward event tracking.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One challenge with Amplitude Analytics is that the platform can feel overwhelming at first due to the sheer number of features and configuration options. Some advanced reports and event setups come with a learning curve, especially for new users. Additionally, dashboard performance can occasionally slow down when working with large datasets, and certain customizations can make the experience feel less responsive.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me better understand user behavior, feature adoption, and conversion trends by providing detailed, real-time insights and clear funnel analysis. With this, I can make faster, data-driven decisions, improve the overall product experience, and prioritize features based on actual user engagement.

 ### 24. Insightful Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishnu U. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I appreciate using Amplitude Analytics to gain insights on user behavior and revenue details. It helps us understand issues our consumers are facing when there is a revenue drop or behavior change. I like the user-based analytics data, live event checking, and the filter option with lots of customization. Additionally, the dashboard in Amplitude Analytics is much better, which was a reason for switching from Klaviyo.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes there is a limit in property value character limit, but it is a standard one. Initially, the dashboard will feel complex, but eventually, we will get more idea.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to gain real-time insights into user behavior and revenue details. It helps identify issues when there's a revenue drop, providing more understanding of consumer problems.

 ### 25. Behavioral Cohorts Make Funnel Insights Fast and Self-Serve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The behavioral cohorts are what keep me coming back. I can actually see how different user groups move through the funnel instead of just guessing. Setting up charts is fast once you know your way around, and the fact that I don't need to bug an analyst every time I want to slice the data differently is huge for someone working solo.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The learning curve is real. The first few weeks I felt like I was clicking around hoping I'd stumble onto the right view, and some of the more powerful stuff is buried where you'd never think to look. Pricing also climbs fast once your event volume grows, so it's not something I'd casually recommend to a small team without warning them about that first.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly it's killed a lot of the back and forth guesswork about where users drop off. Before, I was piecing together a story from a few different reports and a gut feeling. Now I can point to the exact step where people bail and actually do something about it. That's saved me from shipping changes based on assumptions that turned out to be wrong, and it makes the case to leadership a lot easier when I've got the funnel right there to show them.

 ### 26. Senior Product Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ori L. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how smart, advanced, and flexible it is. It often answers my needs before I even realize them, and it genuinely feels like it was built for data-oriented product people. It also has a lot of great features and a deep understanding of data.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes it feels overly complicated. I also used to dislike the deep root analysis because it took ages and then bombarded me with charts.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wow—this honestly feels like a leap into the next generation of AI-driven, agentic product analytics. I don’t feel like I need to build reports anymore; I can simply ask questions and get what I’m looking for. It’s kind of unbelievable, and it genuinely feels like it’s democratizing access to data. The AI features, in particular, are truly mind-blowing.

 ### 27. Powerful Analytics with Room for User-Friendliness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andžej M. | Assistant Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics valuable for tracking our metrics, from event segmentation to conversion analysis. I appreciate the additional functions and capabilities it offers, such as setting up alerts to notice decreasing or increasing instances of events or conversions. I also find the initial setup quite easy, as Amplitude captures a lot of events automatically.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I had some issues with the login during our initial setup. We set up an account, and it logged us in without asking us to set up a password. Afterwards, we got logged out, and we weren't able to log in even though the email used was correct. That was a bit of a hassle. Also, it could be a bit more user-friendly and easy to read because it's a bit too technical for some stakeholders. Maybe having a switch between analytic mode and a reader mode to change the UI for easier readability would help.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to track metrics from event segmentation to conversion analysis. It helps us set up alerts to notice changes in event or conversion rates.

 ### 28. Powerful Integration and Real-Time Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nacho F. | Product Data Owner / Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I really like the possibility of integrating numerous tools and the ability to process data almost in real-time with a focus on growth. This allows me to fully connect my products, projects, and apps and have an overview of everything my user does, how they are acquired, how much revenue they generate, etc. With Amplitude Analytics, I can create funnels, dashboards, and segmentations for analysis, as well as have the possibility to build cohorts to be more precise in our CRM campaigns. The initial setup was quite good, although it's still a challenge to customize everything to generate uniformity.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I would like to be able to define from the UI the information received in the payloads of each integration to align more custom between tools. Perhaps it would have been easier if Amplitude showed each field of the payload and allowed customization of how I expect it to interpret them.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to measure product development metrics. It helps me have a comprehensive and centralized view, connecting my product E2E and analyzing user behavior, creating funnels, dashboards, and segmentations for precise CRM campaigns.

 ### 29. Session Replay, Experiments, and AI Analytics That Deliver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank A. | designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Session replay, experiments, and AI assistant agent analytics.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Very complex for some people. Some data doesn't match our database, the session replay has few recordings, and overall, it's very expensive.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics gives me visibility into flows and solves the problem of opacity in behavioral data. Instead of focusing only on vanity metrics (like page views), it focuses on user actions and what really happens throughout the journey.

It helps solve the difficulty in identifying friction points in the conversion funnel, the lack of clarity about which features actually retain users, and the delay in obtaining insights without relying on BI teams.

As a benefit, it allows for the democratization of data: product teams can perform cohort, retention, and conversion analyses in real-time. This makes it easier to make evidence-based decisions to prioritize the roadmap and optimize the user experience, driving growth.

 ### 30. Fast, Flexible Funnel Analysis with Powerful Cohorts and Drill-Down

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The depth of the funnel analysis stands out. Being able to break a multi-step acquisition funnel down by device type, acquisition source, or any event property—and then immediately see exactly where conversion drops off for each segment—is genuinely faster and more flexible than anything I’ve used before. The behavioral cohort builder builds on that: once I define a cohort (for example, for a specific acquisition channel), I can reuse it across charts without having to rebuild the logic every time.

For experiment readouts where I need to compare control vs. variant across multiple funnel steps while also splitting by device, it handles the complexity cleanly. The user-level drill-down when a metric looks anomalous is also underrated; being able to move from an aggregate CVR to the actual session sequence behind it helps close investigative loops much more quickly.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

The consent-based tracking gap isn’t surfaced anywhere in the UI. As a result, you’re effectively working with only a percentage of true traffic, but Amplitude gives you no indication that this is happening—you only notice the discrepancy when you cross-reference another source. That means every absolute number you share with a stakeholder needs a manual correction and a separate explanation, which ends up eroding confidence in the tool for anyone who isn’t close to the data.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The MCP connector changes the workflow meaningfully. Rather than context-switching between your AI environment and Amplitude to pull charts, check funnel metrics, or cross-reference experiment results, you can query your actual Amplitude data conversationally — the EU residency server means it works within our data governance setup without workarounds.

 ### 31. Powerful Product Analytics with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The funnel builder and cohort analysis save us 4-5 hours a week that we used to spend writing raw SQL. We track a specific conversion event (contact popup opens → seller call) across 300k+ monthly active buyers, segmented by state and district — Amplitude handles this in seconds with zero query writing. The cohort comparison between power buyers (4+ contacts) and dormant users revealed a behavioral pattern we hadn't seen before, which directly shaped our re-engagement campaigns.

The Amplitude MCP integration is an unexpected standout — we query live chart data directly inside our AI workflow (Claude) without switching tabs. It cut our analysis loop from 20 minutes to under 2 minutes for ad-hoc questions.

Performance is solid on large event volumes (millions of events/month); charts render fast even on complex multi-property funnels. The UI is dense but logical — once you learn the cohort builder and the "Measured as" toggle, you stop needing support docs. Onboarding was steep only because of event taxonomy decisions upfront; after that, zero hand-holding needed.

ROI is clear: one funnel insight (MH state 9% conversion vs UP state 19%) justified a full campaign rebuild that otherwise would have taken months of gut-feel iteration.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Initially it is a little bit hard to understand how everything works, especially custom formulas, events properties. Also, sometimes dashboards take longer to load.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand user behavior beyond top metrics, analyze funnel conversions and retention, and track revenue. It saves time by integrating data sources and helps to quickly identify user drop-off points in onboarding or subscription processes.

 ### 32. Driving Better Product Decisions with Amplitude

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude is how easily it turns product data into actionable insights. As a Analyst, I frequently use funnels, user journey analysis, retention reports, and segmentation to understand user behavior and identify friction points. The interface is intuitive, allowing me to create dashboards and analyses quickly without extensive technical support.

Session Replay is particularly valuable because it helps me understand the reasons behind user behavior, not just the metrics. The Session Replay Agent further enhances this by analyzing replay data at scale and surfacing key insights, helping us identify usability issues and user pain points much faster. Amplitude's AI-powered analytics is another standout feature, enabling me to ask questions in natural language and get insights much faster than traditional analysis methods.

Amplitude Guides and Surveys have also been extremely useful for creating onboarding tours, collecting NPS feedback, and driving user engagement directly within the product without requiring additional tools.

The platform handles large datasets efficiently, makes it easy to share insights across teams, and has helped us make more informed product decisions by quickly measuring the impact of new features and improvements.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One area where Amplitude could improve is customer support. While the documentation, learning resources, and knowledge base are comprehensive and usually help answer most implementation and analytics questions, it can sometimes be challenging to get timely assistance from a human support agent when more complex issues arise. Response times can be longer than expected, especially when you need direct guidance or troubleshooting support.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting Amplitude, it was difficult to get a complete view of how users interacted with our product and to understand where they were dropping off in key workflows. Analyzing user behavior often required combining data from multiple sources and relying on engineering support for deeper investigations.

With Amplitude, we can track user journeys, analyze funnels, measure feature adoption, and monitor retention in a single platform. Session Replay helps us understand the reasons behind user behavior, while Guides and Surveys enable us to collect feedback and improve onboarding experiences directly within the product.

The platform's integrations with our broader data ecosystem have helped centralize analytics and reduce the effort required to bring data together from different sources. As a result, our team can identify issues faster, validate product decisions with data, and measure the impact of new features more effectively.

The biggest benefit has been faster and more confident decision-making. Instead of spending hours gathering and validating data, we can quickly surface insights and focus on improving the customer experience. Consolidating analytics, session replay, in-product engagement, and AI-powered insights into a single platform has also delivered strong ROI by reducing the need for multiple tools and improving team productivity.

 ### 33. Insightful but Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kumar V. | EA to CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the session play feature in Amplitude Analytics, as it helps me understand when a feature is used and for how long. This insight is valuable because it allows my team and me to rethink our features. If there's a need, we can enhance them to make the user experience more friendly. I also find the initial setup of Amplitude Analytics very easy.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think that choosing cohort features should improve and enhance. That feature is very lengthy and while using, sometimes the particular things are not available, which makes it harder to find the data. I think it should be more user-friendly.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to gain insights into feature usage, which helps our sales team pitch appropriate features to leads and aids in enhancing product usability.

 ### 34. AI-Driven Insights, But Setup Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mafalda B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the new AI chat feature in Amplitude Analytics. It's pretty remarkable because you can just ask the chats what you're looking for, and it automatically gives you an answer. This means I don't have to create a dashboard for tasks like user reviews or getting summaries for a proof of concept; I can just ask the chat to provide me with a list of events and get the granularity I want for the results. This feature really streamlines my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I'm frustrated with the AI chat sometimes when I ask for updated results and it says there are no more events in the past time period, even though I know there have been. I have to contradict the AI agent before it finds the answer. Also, the initial setup of Amplitude Analytics was not the easiest. We had a lot of issues related to data cohorts. Although it might be related to our data warehouse, the setup felt difficult.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to measure and review engagement success of new features through conversion funnels. The AI chat feature helps save time by providing answers without creating dashboards.

 ### 35. Fast, Insightful Analytics—Occasional Chart Loading Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

Amplitude provides an easy-to-access UI that lets me quickly aggregate event data for user behavior studies. Chart load times have improved massively compared with a few years ago, when I first started using the product.

The stitching between user device ID and Amplitude ID is one of Amplitude’s biggest strengths, because it allows us to properly identify a unique user—especially when your product exists across multiple platforms. It also supports Claude MCP, which is really helpful for analysis that involves multiple data sources. The new Amplitude AI release is genuinely useful as well, and I’ve already started incorporating it into my workflow to analyze product releases and user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Sometimes the charts get stuck loading, especially when I’m sharing my screen during a team call on Slack, Zoom, or Google call. The tool currently lacks support for creating secondary aggregations, such as consecutive daily/weekly feature usage and the average of an event property per user. Customer support has also gotten weaker over the past year, particularly after a series of transitions to new account managers.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude helps me understand how users react to and interact with content and new feature releases on our platform. Being able to visualize different property breakdowns easily allows us to quickly drill down into the key drivers behind changes in our core KPI metrics. The user lookup feature is also extremely useful for tracing the user journey and identifying potential bugs or points of disruption in our product.

 ### 36. Intuitive, Powerful Analytics That Drive Product Decisions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I use Amplitude Analytics on a daily basis and what impresses me most is how effectively it links user behavior to real product decisions. First, the platform is both intuitive and powerful, allowing me to track user actions and analyze behavior easily, all without needing to write any code. I find its capabilities for funnels, retention, and path analysis particularly strong—these are areas I often struggle to analyze in other tools like Looker. We also make extensive use of the cohorts feature, which is great because Amplitude lets us build dynamic cohorts based on actual user behavior. I can then apply these cohorts across analyses, experiments, and activations. The user experience is very friendly, and I find it straightforward to learn how to use the various features without spending a lot of time on documentation. Still, it's helpful that the documentation is thorough and clear, so whenever I can't figure something out intuitively, I can easily find the answers I need. Setting up experimentation is also simple in Amplitude; we use it for all our AB tests, and implementation doesn't require deep technical expertise.
In terms of customer support it works quite well. At least with the enterprise plan there's customer support available and they are usually quick to answer questions and solve issues.
Integration with other tools is possible and easy to configure.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

While I find this tool powerful and intuitive as a data analyst, I think it may not be as straightforward for product managers or others whose roles are less focused on analytics. Some of the more advanced features, like funnels, cohorts, and formulas, can initially feel overwhelming. It's crucial to have a well-thought-out event planning process. I've noticed that if the event taxonomy isn't carefully designed from the beginning, analyses can quickly become confusing or even misleading, and making corrections later is quite challenging. The same goes for naming conventions—managing a large number of events can get complicated without consistency. Although this hasn't been an issue for us yet, I've heard that costs can rise rapidly as event volume and user numbers increase, which could be a concern for startups or teams dealing with a lot of noisy events. While the tool allows to accomplish a lot without SQL, performing truly custom or edge-case analyses can feel limited compared to using a data warehouse with a BI tool. Additionally, working with large datasets or complex charts can sometimes result in slow load times.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics enables me to truly understand how users interact with our product. Instead of relying on guesswork, I now have access to clear, event-based insights that reveal exactly what users are doing throughout our platform. This clarity helps our teams pinpoint the factors that drive activation, engagement, and retention, moving us away from assumptions and toward data-driven decisions.

By examining funnels, user paths, and retention metrics, Amplitude makes it straightforward to identify where users are dropping off and which behaviors are linked to long-term success. For example, after launching a new acquisition funnel, we used Amplitude daily to track its performance and to analyze where and why users were most likely to leave the process.

Another advantage is that everyone in the company can access the tool and independently gather insights, without needing to know SQL or rely heavily on the data team. This self-serve capability empowers all team members to make informed decisions.

Amplitude has also simplified the implementation and management of A/B tests and experiments. Previously, it was challenging to run and centralize multiple tests, especially given our limited traffic. Now, with features like mutually exclusive groups and holdout groups, Amplitude offers promising solutions to these limitations, although we have not yet fully tested these capabilities.

Overall, Amplitude benefits me by delivering faster answers to product questions, eliminating the need to wait for custom reports. It fosters clear alignment across product, growth, and engineering teams by providing a shared, reliable source of product and digital data. This enables us to make decisions based on measurable improvements in activation, retention, and feature adoption.

 ### 37. Effective Funnel Insights, but Clunky Journey Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I love how Amplitude Analytics shows me where people are actually falling off the funnel. I can really easily jump in and see if there's a huge gap at one stage. As we make changes to our marketing plan, we can see how those gaps change. It's easy to jump into specific cohorts of users, so I can see if a specific cohort's falling off. The funnel tool, I find really effective. I can quickly do data analysis for anything really fast, see how many users have done something, and answer questions on my own without needing to ask a developer team or a data team. I find it is a lot better and more user-friendly than some other analytics tools that I've used as someone who isn't a developer.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Their journey tool is not good. I find it very clunky and unintuitive, and they've recently tried to introduce a lot of AI features that just don't work. They crash out a lot of the time before they're able to give me proper answers. Things that are supposed to run on recurring basis just don't, I find. I've really struggled with their AI tools, but I know they're new. There's also a pretty hefty learning curve for someone coming in.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to identify gaps in user journeys, letting me see where users drop off. It helps adjust our marketing strategies effectively and analyze specific user cohorts for better targeting.

 ### 38. AI Dashboard Agent Makes Reporting Fast, Consistent, and Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

The AI dashboard agent is the feature I use the most. It helps me keep consistency in reporting and provides easy, fast ways to create graphs. The AI also flags when we might need more granular event instrumentation, which saves a lot of time. The UX is easier to use thanks to the chat history and clean navigation.

The second feature I rely on is Guides, which is excellent in terms of speed of deployment. Support has also been thorough, fast, and prompt in getting our doubts resolved.

We’re using the Gmail integration and have yet to explore the other integrations to keep the team up to speed.

Overall, it’s great value for the price.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

We’d like to explore more AI agents that are legally usable. I’m also curious about which backend services Amplitude uses for its new offerings, so we can make an informed decision about enrolling in beta feature programs.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discovering the critical, frequently used use cases our customers rely on, understanding where they struggle, and predicting churn risk based on their behaviour.

 ### 39. Comprehensive Product Analytics Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranay P. | sr. software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Amplitude Analytics provides an excellent UI/UX, reliable integrations, strong performance, good ROI for product analytics, helpful onboarding support, and AI-powered insights for understanding user behavior.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Some advanced features have a learning curve for new users, and pricing can become expensive as event volume grows. Dashboard customization and report setup could also be simpler for beginners.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps solve problems related to user behavior tracking, product usage analysis, and data-driven decision making. It provides insights into how users interact with features, where drop-offs happen, and which flows need improvement. This benefits me by helping identify user pain points quickly, measure feature adoption, improve user experience, and make product decisions based on real usage data instead of assumptions.

 ### 40. Powerful Analytics with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karin U. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like using Amplitude Analytics because it helps us dig deeply into technical questions. It's great for segmenting and re-segmenting data by audience, creative, or region. The platform provides capabilities to pull activation data, regional data, and funnel performance data, which helps improve how we reach out to end users. I appreciate its built-in features that improve targeting and support our new, less data-savvy users in making decisions. The initial setup was very easy, and while it does take some instrumentation and support, it's very powerful in driving growth.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

It's hard to use if you've never used Amplitude Analytics before. A new team member asked for training and I directed her to Amplitude training and she still found it difficult. It would be helpful to have more templates or references to existing dashboards so that when building a new one we can reference what others have built.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to pull activation, regional, and funnel data, improving user outreach. It provides detailed insights into dropoff points, enhances targeting, and helps data newcomers make decisions.

 ### 41. Powerful Product Analytics for Data-Driven Decision Making

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like most about Amplitude Analytics is how it delivers deep, actionable insights into user behavior through advanced funnel, retention, and cohort analysis. Its intuitive, self-serve interface lets teams explore data on their own without needing to rely heavily on engineering. With real-time analytics and flexible segmentation, it’s straightforward to spot trends, understand feature impact, and make data-informed product decisions.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I dislike about Amplitude Analytics is the learning curve that comes with its more advanced features, which can take new users a while to fully grasp. On top of that, the pricing can scale up quickly as event volume grows. I also find that keeping event tracking clean and well governed takes ongoing effort, since it needs regular attention to maintain accurate, consistent insights.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics addresses the challenge of understanding how users truly interact with a product by offering deep visibility into user behavior, journeys, and engagement patterns. It makes it easier to spot drop-offs, track feature adoption, and evaluate retention with clear, data-driven insights. As a result, it supports faster decision-making, more effective experimentation, and stronger product and growth outcomes.

 ### 42. Replaced Google Analytics, Scales with Our Volume and provide new features that enable growth.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shay C. | Group Director of Data & Engine, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think what I like most about Amplitude Analytics is the great platform itself, but even more, it's the partnership we have with Amplitude. We have a good working relationship with a good customer success manager, and we're regularly invited to attend cab sessions where we can provide feedback into the future roadmap of the product. We generally feel responded to and heard when we raise potential new features or challenges with the current configuration and setup of the product. This is something that was lacking with Google.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One of the remaining challenges with Amplitude Analytics is still centered around web analytics. We've had to create new dashboards, and they're not as publisher-friendly as we would like. We needed to think slightly differently because Amplitude's background has historically always been product analytics. It's not necessarily a like-for-like comparison with other vendors that publishers may be using.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics scales with our volume and velocity, supports over 120 brands, provides real-time data views, and simplifies understanding our audience's actions beyond initial page views. We are now using the latest features around AI to help scale insights not previously possible, namely session analytics with customer insights being extracted via Agents feeding the products teams with rich audience behaviour data.

 ### 43. Effortlessly Understand User Journeys

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonal C. | Product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I find Amplitude Analytics easy to understand and easy to set up, which makes my work with it much smoother. I appreciate the AI analysis it offers for a deeper insight into my data. I also like the integrations available, which help me connect Amplitude Analytics effortlessly with other tools. Compared to Mixpanel, I find that Amplitude is much easier to follow, making it a preferred choice for my analysis needs. The initial setup was a breeze, completed within minutes.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think AI insights should be visible with every dashboard immediately, allowing me to look at data proactively.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics helps me understand how users interact with our product by tracking their journey and identifying friction points.

 ### 44. Facilitates Issue Resolution with Intuitive Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Conrad A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like being able to drill down into individual customers' timelines with Amplitude Analytics. This feature helps me identify customers involved in a specific issue by looking at their timeline, seeing what they did leading up to the issue, and tracing back how to reproduce it. It's a crucial first step to getting the issue resolved on our end. Additionally, the setup was very easy for me. Our IT team set up an account, and it was straightforward to dive into it, with a low learning curve. This simplicity is great for anyone looking to start using analytics.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One thing that I think could be improved is when we look at a funnel and download the list of users, it gives me their current information, like the app version currently, as opposed to the app version at the time of that event. Being able to get the data from their account at the time that funnel is from would be much more useful because then I can have it in a CSV file and use it with other tools.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand customer impact during issues for better triaging. It helps drill down into timelines to reproduce and resolve issues quickly by identifying patterns of what causes an issue.

 ### 45. Powerful Funnel Insights, But a Steep Learning Curve for New Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that I can create many different charts and compare them. I can also build a funnel to better understand where I need to improve or adjust my product. When I create a funnel, I can clearly see the drop-offs, which for me is a strong indicator of where I should focus and fine-tune things to reduce that drop-off.

Right now, I’m still exploring the new AI tool and the integrations that could be added. If it truly works effortlessly, that would mean we could potentially use Amplitude a lot more. So far, it looks very promising.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

As a new user, it can feel very overwhelming to get started. The menu is packed with options, which makes it harder to choose what to do first and leaves me unsure where to begin. I often end up copying older charts and then changing the events, but I wouldn’t expect that to be the easiest or most straightforward way to create new charts.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me understand where to focus on the product I’m working on. It gives me a clear indication of what I need to investigate further and more thoroughly so I can optimize my product and make it even better. Without the data I can get through Amplitude, I’d be fumbling in the dark and likely spending more time on parts of the product that already work well.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Funnel drop-off analysis is one of those things Amplitude really shines at, glad it's helping you focus on the right parts of your product. The "where do I even start" feeling when you're new is real, and the packed menu makes it worse. Amplitude Academy (academy.amplitude.com) has guided paths for new users that can help replace the copy-an-old-chart workaround with something more intentional.

 ### 46. Ease and Flexibility in Creating Insights with Amplitude

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murilo B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like the ease of creating and manipulating data in Amplitude Analytics. It has a very simple way of selecting and filtering data, as well as choosing the type of visualization or chart I need. This gives me the freedom to make my own creations without relying on a development team, which gives me a lot of autonomy. It's also easy to ask a developer to add something new, or even for me to go into our code and do it myself, everything is very easy. Working with data, making decisions, and analyzing results quickly is essential for us, and Amplitude allows us to do all of this quickly. Additionally, the platform is robust, easy to use, and the plans are quite interesting, especially for companies that are starting out and don't have a large budget.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think it's a bit confusing at times how segments and some special properties work in Amplitude Analytics. There are some details that don't work exactly the way we expected. Moreover, the platform handles domain events very well (like a message being sent, a login being made, or a payment being executed), but not as well or as simply with state change events (like an account update, plan change, etc.).

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to understand our users, their activities on the platform, and the main features they use, analyzing events for quick and safe decisions. It gives me the freedom to create visualizations without relying on other teams, facilitating agile development.

 ### 47. Intuitive for A/B Testing, Seamless Daily Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** My L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how easy Amplitude Analytics is to use with its drag-and-drop interface and simple rules. The new AI agents are really nice because they monitor my dashboard, saving me a lot of time and providing great insights that can be sent to Slack. This helps a lot with tracking performance. The setup was pretty easy and intuitive, taking me just two days to learn and personalize it with ease. I appreciate that I only need to check daily summaries to stay informed and know what's going on.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

I think one of the things that could be improved is the capacity for grouping certain values when you choose a certain thing. For example, when I create a chart and filter by properties, I'd like to create groups of properties so I don't have to choose them every single time.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics for AB testing, which helps me decide which channels or page changes benefit our business. The AI agents save me time by summarizing performance daily and providing insights integrated into Slack.

 ### 48. Granular Insights Enhance Strategy, but Costly Add-ons

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tonye I. | Growth Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like how Amplitude Analytics allows us to see very granular data of our users. It helps us know what our users are doing and the actions they are taking on the app. This insight helps us provide our service the best way possible for those users. The granular data also allows us to segment properly and create custom codes for different user cohorts, which improves our decision-making. It helps us see where our users are coming from, enabling us to direct more of our budget and marketing traffic effectively. The capability to see data in the most granular form is exciting because it allows our strategy to be pinpointed in a way that helps our entire service to be effective to the end user.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Expensive add-ons. For example, guide and surveys. I think it's very expensive to add to our current setup, so that's why we've not used it. So if it can be less expensive so that we're able to, like, put it into our workflow. Another aspect of Amplitude that I would like to work better is how the AI creates cohorts when you ask it. For example, when you create a segment or funnel using AI, it rarely gets it correctly without making any errors or over-generalizing the events or data or just not capturing it correctly.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Amplitude Analytics to access granular user data, helping me understand user actions and improve service delivery. It aids in proper segmentation, cohort creation, and refines our marketing strategy by providing detailed insights that enhance decision-making.

 ### 49. Simplifies Data Analysis but Lacks User-Friendly Guidance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

I like that Amplitude Analytics makes it easier to look at data in one place and helps me make sense of it. The data looks clear and not cluttered, which is a big plus for me. I appreciate the ability to filter and segment the data as needed because it lets me see the factors that are most important for me and answer more specific and nuanced questions. It helps me dig into things a bit further, which is great.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

Understanding what some of the filter and segments mean, though I understand these are often set by my company. I think it would be helpful to have more info and tool tips, or some resources for me to better understand how I can use Amplitude self-serve as someone who isn't super technical or data savvy.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics makes it easier to look at data in one place and make sense of it. The data is clear, not cluttered, and I can filter and segment as needed to see important factors and answer specific questions.

**Official Response from Amanda Brush:**

> Hi Jessie,
Clear, uncluttered data with the ability to filter down to what actually matters is a great foundation. Better in-product guidance and tooltips for less technical users is a fair gap, especially for someone trying to self-serve. If you haven't checked out Amplitude Academy (academy.amplitude.com), it has resources built for non-technical users, and Ask Amplitude lets you ask questions in plain language without needing to know which filters to reach for. The fact that you're already filtering and segmenting to answer specific questions means you're further along than you might think.

 ### 50. Powerful, Scalable Analytics with Intuitive Dashboards and Strong Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?**

What I like best about Amplitude Analytics is its powerful event-based tracking and user behavior analysis capabilities. The platform offers an excellent UI/UX with intuitive dashboards, easy navigation, and customizable reports that make complex analytics more accessible. Its integrations with tools like data warehouses, CRMs, and marketing platforms help centralize insights across teams.

Amplitude also performs very well with large datasets, providing fast and reliable reporting even at scale. From a pricing and ROI perspective, it delivers strong value by helping teams improve user engagement, retention, and conversion rates through data-driven decisions.

Another standout aspect is the onboarding and support experience, with helpful documentation, training resources, and responsive customer support. I also appreciate the AI and intelligence features that provide automated insights, behavioral predictions, and recommendations, helping teams identify trends and opportunities more efficiently. Overall, it’s a highly scalable and flexible analytics solution for both web and mobile products.

**What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?**

One of the main drawbacks of Amplitude Analytics is the learning curve associated with setting up and managing advanced event tracking. While the UI/UX is modern and feature-rich, new users can initially find the platform overwhelming, especially when working with complex funnels, cohorts, or custom event taxonomies.
Some integrations require additional configuration or technical support, and maintaining clean, consistent data governance across teams can take ongoing effort.
Lastly, onboarding and implementation often require significant collaboration between product, analytics, and engineering teams, which can slow down adoption if resources are limited.

**What problems is Amplitude Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplitude Analytics is helping solve challenges around understanding user behavior, tracking customer journeys, and turning raw event data into actionable insights. Since I work with data from Segment Analytics, Amplitude makes it much easier to organize, analyze, and visualize that data through funnels, retention reports, cohort analysis, and behavioral insights.

Overall, Amplitude helps transform event data from Segment into clear business intelligence that improves product optimization, customer experience, and growth strategies.
