"Effortless UI Design with Seamless Excel Online and Power Automate Integration"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

Power Apps helps me integrate with Excel Online and Power Automate to handle backend-like functionality without much effort. For example, I can use Excel as a database, and then use Power Automate to run backend automation and other workflows very easily.

It’s also great for replicating Google Forms into an app-like UI. It helps with Excel integration too—for instance, a button click can take you directly to a Power Apps page.

And in power apps i like the most is its very easy to design a page or creation of UI is so simple its cost less amount of time its like designing and developing a Ui at same time with less effort Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

At times, it has loading issues. Also, whenever we update something in an automated flow, we then need to update and refresh it in the Power Apps connection, and republish the app again. Sometimes, because of the loading problem, changes don’t get saved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Power Apps: Easy to use Easy-to-Use Low-Code App"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

Very useful in creating functional and simple apps, which is very easy to integrate and work with various Microsoft tools such as excel and power automate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

Power Apps works well for simple, straightforward apps, but when it comes to more difficult and complex ones, it can be hard to navigate. For example, if I’m trying to create a replica of Microsoft Forms or Google Forms, there should be an option to choose that I’m building a form (or something similar) to make the process clearer.

Another important limitation is that it’s highly dependent on the Microsoft ecosystem, and integration with external tools is very limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awesome Tool for Quick App Creation"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

Very easy to learn. I built about a dozen apps within a week. It has a lot of features and integrates easily with Power Automate flows, Outlook, and other MS365 tools. To me, it feels like Figma with a bit of logic added in. It’s helped me automate many repetitive tasks. Concurrency is also straightforward to implement, and performance is pretty fast when it’s integrated with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

When it’s integrated with Excel, it becomes slower compared to other tools. Also, maintaining a set of variables can get confusing as the screens scale up. Changing the flow requires constant refreshing on the app side for the updates to reflect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rapid Low-Code App Building with Seamless Microsoft 365 Integration"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

What I like most about Microsoft Power Apps is how quickly you can build custom applications without needing deep development experience. The low-code approach makes it easy to turn ideas into working apps, especially for internal use cases like tracking requests, managing data, or simplifying approval processes.

One of the biggest advantages is the integration with other Microsoft services like SharePoint, Excel, and Teams. This makes it very convenient to connect data sources and create apps that fit naturally into existing workflows. For example, we’ve built simple apps to manage internal requests and track progress, which replaced manual processes and improved visibility across the team.

The drag-and-drop interface is quite intuitive, and once you get familiar with it, you can create fairly powerful solutions in a short amount of time. It’s also helpful that updates can be made quickly without needing a full redevelopment cycle. Overall, it has helped us reduce reliance on spreadsheets, centralize information, and respond faster to business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

One of the main downsides of Microsoft Power Apps is that while it’s easy to get started, things can become quite complex as you try to build more advanced applications. Managing logic, especially with formulas and data handling, can feel a bit unintuitive and sometimes requires trial and error.

Performance can also be an issue, particularly with larger datasets or more complex apps. Loading times and responsiveness are not always consistent, which can impact the user experience.

Another challenge is the pricing structure, especially when you need premium connectors or more advanced features. It can become expensive depending on how widely you want to use it across a team or organization.

Lastly, customizing the UI beyond a certain point can be limiting compared to fully custom-built apps. While it’s great for rapid development, there are cases where you might feel constrained if you need very specific design or functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Low-Code App Development with Microsoft Power Apps"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

What I like best about Microsoft Power Apps is how easy it is to build functional apps without deep programming knowledge. The drag-and-drop interface and ready-made templates make development much faster, and it integrates really well with other Microsoft tools like Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. It’s especially useful for quickly turning ideas into working solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

What I don’t like about Microsoft Power Apps is that it becomes limiting as applications grow more complex. Performance can degrade, and debugging is not always straightforward. Additionally, the licensing and pricing structure can be confusing and difficult to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy No-Code App Building with Drag-and-Drop and Microsoft Integrations"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

I can easily create apps without needing to learn complex coding languages anymore. I can build apps just by dragging and dropping components. It also provides support for integrating with other Microsoft tools like Excel, Teams, etc. The interface is very easy to learn, so it’s simple to get started. Managing data is also easy. And now using AI I can create components by giving commands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

The formulas are complicated, and I get confused many times while implementing them. Managing large data is also complex. Sometimes the performance is slow as well, and while creating it, it lags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Drag-and-Drop App Building with Seamless Microsoft Integrations"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

I can use it to build apps easily without putting in much effort. I just have to drag and drop, and it creates the components quickly. It also provides seamless integration with other Microsoft apps like Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint. In our company, we’ve created multiple apps using Power Apps—for example, we used a timecard app to track working hours, and we also built a leave management system to manage leaves and location changes. Also it is very easy to learn and implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

Sometimes managing the logic gets complex when the data set is large. For example, we store our employee data in an app we created using Power Apps, which is integrated with a Microsoft Excel sheet, and managing the data in that sheet becomes complicated over time. It would also be better if Power Apps could provide more theme options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Power Apps: Your Fast Track to Custom Apps"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

I like that Microsoft Power Apps lets me build custom apps modify forms or views quickly without having to be a coding expert. It’s straightforward to connect to data sources like SharePoint, Dataverse etc; automate tasks, and create apps that solve real problems without a lot of delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

I dislike that saving and publishing in Power Apps can be confusing. Even for very small changes, I have to hit the publish button again and again, and there’s often a delay before the updates show up, which can be frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great low-code platform for internal apps, but takes time to master"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

What I like most about Microsoft Power Apps is how it helps eliminate repetitive manual work. In our case, we used to manually download executed documents from Adobe Sign based on tracking information in an Excel sheet. It was time-consuming and prone to errors if someone missed a row or filtered incorrectly.

With Power Apps, we were able to create a more structured internal process around that tracking. It integrates well with Excel and other Microsoft tools, which made implementation easier for us.

It’s especially helpful for internal operational tools where you don’t need a full enterprise-grade application but still want something more controlled and scalable than spreadsheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

The biggest challenge is the learning curve. It’s marketed as low-code, but to build anything meaningful, you still need to understand formulas, logic, and how data connections work. It’s not completely plug-and-play.

Licensing can also be confusing depending on connectors and features. Some advanced integrations require premium plans, which adds cost.

Performance can slow down when working with larger Excel files or more complex data sources. Also, troubleshooting errors isn’t always intuitive — sometimes it takes trial and error to figure out what’s wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Power Apps Centralized Build Tracking Across Hundreds of AWS Accounts"
What do you like best about Microsoft Power Apps?

We use Microsoft Power Apps to capture and manage build information across nearly 490 AWS accounts, giving us a single, structured interface for data collection, validation, and updates. It replaces scattered spreadsheets and manual tracking with a centralized, governed workflow that improves accuracy, accelerates audits, and gives our cloud team real‑time visibility into every account’s configuration and lifecycle.

Accont owners need to know the VPC CIDR ranges, who created the account etc information, so this serves as one stop shop for all such information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Apps?

We have custom API's built to fetch information from AWS but the performance is dropping considering our large dataset.

May be I feel like, Azure would be its preferred platform for seamless integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
