There is nothing to dislike IBM Watson. You just need to understand the flow of IBM Watson. You may struggle at initial stage but once you got expertise you will become master.

As for me, there are not any downsides to IBM Watson Assistant and it is better if you can add more video tutorials in several languages so that users can quickly get it running.

The best was the amount ease by which the process is available. It is very easy to understand and IBM has done an exceptional job in making it a step by step process.
For example if you want to make a simple chatbot for IT service desk, you focus on 3 things; scope, design and integration. The tutorials are available and it is very easy to do. You just use the API and zip zap zoom, it is done.

What I think is missed here is the amount of technical jargon. Some developers like me want to go deep and the easy to do tutorial can become a hurdle there. Sometimes the whole process is masked under a simple query which becomes harder to understand.

As the example I gave above, if you create a IT help desk service chatbot, it can be of great help for all the users in the organisation.

**What do you like best about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

The best part about IBM Watson is that it's one of the most advanced chatbot builders of all time. It not only provides us with the facility to create a conversation flow in a tree structure. This also allows us to create better flows of conversation using the parent, child node and jump conditions. Watson Assistant is the best tool in the market with the best in class NLP engine powered by IBM Watson AI. It also facilitates us with Intents, Entities and Dialog which makes it very convenient for us to develop the chatbot. Also, the tryit editor is very handy when it comes to testing the bots. One of the most advanced features of IBM Watson Assistant is the in dialogue programming capability and context variables that helps to maintain the state of conversation and store the crucial user data throughout the conversation.

There's very little to dislike but there is a very less number of integrations available with IBM watson assistant. On the other hand the tools like Google Dialogflow has a lot more integrations and deployment options.

Use less intents in paid plans as there is a limitation of number of intents under a plan. Use Watson for premium applications and premium clients.

**What do you like best about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

I was very new to IBM Watson. I got started with the tutorials first of how can I make a dummy watson assistant. It was very easy to follow the tutorials and once I had gained some confidence, I started developing a Watson Assistant Chatbot for my web application. Getting started from building first intent, and then gradually adding multiple answers, with variation possibles such as to add link, images, simple text response and to have them returned in a random order. The drag drop functionality of intents was also quite useful. The inbuilt support to test the chatbot is really amazing. I don't need to be worried about integrating the bot on some application to every time check my new functions. I can just remain on the IBM platform and check it right there and then and if I don't like the flow I can quickly drag drop the intents to suit my needs. Lastly, the two more aspects I liked about the IBM chatbot I built was I could export the intents I wrote and could import those intents to some other chatbot assistant I am building and just edit those to suit those project needs. Other feature was the ease to integrate the chatbot as a script and include that in my web application and boom, the chatbot is integrated onto my application.

**What do you dislike about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

I have just used the Watson Assistant for building a chatbot. There are not much dislikes as I haven't had a chance to explore other features of Watson Assistant, but from what I have been able to use till now, it would have been really great if some sort of voice features could be integrated in the chatbot, so user don't need to type. Also, if ability to parse user input images, so as to see what is the issue user is trying to describe through images. Other than that, product is really amazing. Cheers!!

If you are a student and looking to build you first chatbot to provide an assistant on your web application, or if you don't want to build a basic chatbot from scratch, then I believe IBM Watson Assistant is the right tool for you. It is quite easy to use, it has some great tutorials and support to get you started with it along with that IBM provides support to students as well to try various IBM products. So for me, in my coming years, if I am looking to build a chatbot for my personal use, I would every time go for IBM Watson Assistant.

I am using IBM Watson Assistant in my college project. I am using chatbot to give me an edge over other student's projects. I really like that Watson Assistant is provided free and still has impressive functionality. It has been easy to program, though some prior programming experience has proven helpful. The online help is easy to use and I have been able to build a responsive assistant for our small library's website.

**What do you dislike about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

Understanding how to use variables within the assistant was challenging and final formatting is occasionally not consistent with what I think will happen when I use embedded HTML to format responses. Overall though I cannot complain and have ultimately figured out how to make it do what I want.

**Recommendations to others considering IBM watsonx Orchestrate:**

It will take time to setup initially. I spent several hours per week over 406 weeks creating all of the initial content, and we are not particularly complicated. Don't expect to roll out in a few days, spend quality time to get it right.

I am trying to provide a friendlier and hopefully easier way for our patrons to get simple questions answered on our website. I find they do not search often but everyone is getting used to some type of interactive chat as it becomes more widespread. Usage is low but it's only been a few weeks and I'm confident it will grow. As more people use it, I hope to identify common questions that may need more elaboration on the site, plus it may point us towards opportunities we can address.

**What do you like best about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

1) Watson Assistant is easy to understand without any programming needed. I was able to build a company chatbot using Watson after only a bit of training. Once you grasp the basic concepts of intents, entities, and the dialog nodes, then the development process is very streamlined and efficient. I love how the dialog nodes were very easy to put together, in chronological order. Setting up the dialog was the easiest part, where intents and entity setup requires some thought. Although, I really liked the suggested synonyms and process for intents/entities too. 2) The training process is also great, where you can try the bot yourself and set the correct intents. 3) integration with the web app was also easy to implement. 4) Once users started using the bot, you could view their questions and sort them by intents/entities. This allowed for better insight into what people are asking for increased improvement of the bot functions.

Overall, I had a great experience with Watson Assistant, would recommend!

**What do you dislike about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

I can only think of 1 downside which is that users must develop a good understanding of the different aspects like dialog skills having intents, entities, dialog with nodes, etc. It was a bit confusing at the beginning when there was a bombarding of information, at one point I wasn’t sure of the connection between my assistant and the respective skill I wanted it to have. This was easily remedied after I took one of Coursera’s courses on IBM Watson. There are probably many other videos online as an introduction, so this probably isn’t a huge problem. Perhaps a solution is a tour-style walk through (I’m not sure if it already exists- if so, I probably skipped it).

If you want a simple and elegant chatbot implementation, Watson Assistant is for you. No programming needed, easy deployment, and streamlined analytics all in 1 place.

I am using Watson Assistant to build 2 chatbots for my company’s 2 different web applications. So far, only one of them are live but they seem to be helpful. I am using it to answer different streaming related questions for streamers on the app. It has been useful to see the types of questions people are asking and to determine what their interests are. Through the bot, we have less questions about where streaming features can be accessed and how things work. Watson has also made Viewing and sorting the data streamlined.

Watson is versatile and surprisingly user friendly. The team that helped us get Watson implemented went way above and beyond. The fact that IBM Watson Assistant has come with such a structured methodology to build a chatbot is what I admire the most. The whole functionality of a chatbot is divided into intents, extents and dialogs which are easy to understand and implement. And not just the functions it provides us, but also the examples (in-built libraries) we get, even for a beginner, it is too easy to make his / her  own personalized chatbot. I would also like to appreciate the fact that the Beta version which has abundant features for a basic chatbot development is offered free for the IBM Cloud users.

I did not recognize any potential issue coming up while making a chatbot, but I may suggest to include a feature where we can save responses to particular questions in a Document, eg Word, PDF or spreadsheet. Apart from this concern, I had a great experience while working on this platform.

There is no need of coding knowledge. The platform is very easy to understand and a detailed explanations are available in watson documentation. The try it section makes it easy to train the intents and entities. The UI is fairly modern and easily understandable.

While using IBM watson on a 13.3" screen, I faced an irritating bug. When I was creating the dialogue flow, as you move the mouse to edit a text, the size of the window changes and many times I accidentally clicked on the cross button thus deleting that particular node. IBM watson is a great platform if you want to implement a chatbot in your project without having much experience. I love how easy it is to demonstrate this to my clients.   This conversational assistant can be employed either on the website or using the voice assistant feature on a company automated assistant.   The dialogue is both flexible and responsive.  It is super easy to set up and the client can natively establish dialogue right from their own web page so nothing already said is not created.  IYou can enter dialogue questions and natively adjust any responses and text that will be accepted.Its really easy to collaborate and communicate with clients that normally would enter repetitive questions in the phone or web queue.  This automates the process of customer questions and communications to the vendor I am selling it to.

**What do you dislike about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

I don't really have a downside other than certain banks that I am selling to just don't like the impersonal look of a chat bot. Visually it is a little bit blocky and it can be confusing to the user what happens when data is entered as a query and not responded to when asked.   The dialogue feature does not recognize any non sensical data.

It is a product I sell so the most obvious problem I am solving is my sales pipeline stays full because this is a very new product and a great amount of customer interest has generated a full month of demonstrations and proposal. This reduces repetition, increases response time and increases customer engagement.  This greatly improves customer experience and makes the likelihood of sharing positive responses with the customer's network much higher.

There is no emulator kind of  setup to view the request and response between client and server
