It is more open than other orchestrators and integrates very well within the IBM ecosystem.

Although it's quite expensive, they continue to release it every month.

There are multiple new things added like task automation using Ai which is very good. Then seamless integration with other tools like SAP, Salesforce, etc. Its easy to use as a no code low code platform.

I liked the AI solutions to business problems, the way they integrated the LLM models to effectively reduce errors and can do repetitive tasks. 
Most important thing is it's low to no code interface, which I liked. It makes it easy to automate.

Flexibility towards Users point of view or perspective, like misunderstanding the user's input etc.,

- The construction of conversational flows is much faster in the new version
- It has become much simpler to validate different types of user responses, with retry options and regex
- New tools for assistant version management help a lot
- The use of subactions greatly aids in the creation of reusable actions

**What do you dislike about IBM watsonx Orchestrate?**

- Many error messages that are not clear
- Frequent errors and bugs with the development of actions in parallel (more than one developer working on different actions at the same time)
- Tool limitations that are not clear and visible to the developer

**What problems is IBM watsonx Orchestrate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are not yet using the v2 action in production, but we have noticed an increase in the speed of building the conversational/transactional flows that we are migrating (from the old v1 dialog version to the new v2 action). The ability to reuse actions using the subactions function has significantly streamlined many complex flows. The new feature of user input validation has removed much of the complexity we had in replicating this behavior in the dialog version.

IBM Watsonx Orchestrate is a platform for building AI assistants and agents that automate tasks and enhance the user experience.

It is very helpful in the HR Automation process for automating candidate shortlisting, Finance department for invoice follow - ups and sales team for CRM updates and meeting scheduling purposes.

Basically this is very helpful and saves time.

I personally feel this is not mature as other competitors in the market.

What I like the most is the number of things we can do; it seems quite simple, but I still haven't seen it in practice.

That still needs a technical team to do something simple.

I appreciate the wide range of customization options provided by IBM watsonx Assistant. Once you get over the first lesson, its powerful features make it an excellent automation tool. AI can be powerful, and it’s a key component of managing customer interactions and internal processes. The ability to interface with different platforms is also a key advantage, allowing for flexibility in implementation across tools.

The steep and challenging learning curve can be a bit frustrating in the early stages. Although the platform has many features, some technical skills are required to use it effectively. For some platforms, the integration process can be tedious, requiring additional workflows for smooth operation. Additionally, although customer support, while helpful, can be slow and extensive, especially for new users.

IBM watsonx Assistant helps solve the problem of managing a high volume of customer inquiries by automating responses to FAQs and support requests. This reduces the need for repeated manual operations and improves efficiency. The watsonx Assistant is a versatile tool that combines the benefits of the former watson Assistant with the latest integration and artificial intelligence capabilities. It is easy to implement and use, as the web-based creation platform is educational and the documentation for API connection and integrations is quite clear. It also has a dedicated and experienced support team that provides an extensive catalog of applicability for virtual assistants. Here, we work with the watson assistant every day, progressing in the curation of the tool and its increasingly efficient implementation.

So far, we have not identified any negative points in the watsonx assistant.
