I like that Personio's UI for applying and approving leave is clean, quick, and mobile-friendly. It's great that I can instantly see my remaining leave balance, upcoming holidays, and teammates' absences, and I no longer have to deal with spreadsheets or scattered files. I especially love their mobile app, which is simple and powerful, offering one-tap leave requests, a quick approval flow, and push notifications. Applying for leave is so easy with the Personio App, taking just a few seconds without needing to remember login credentials or stay at my laptop—I can do it from anywhere. I think Personio could improve their customization options. Their customization is limited, especially in workflows, forms, and reporting. I'd suggest adding conditional logic between fields as currently, there's no buildable logic between fields, which causes data inconsistencies, especially in multinational contexts where rules vary. I like the team calendar a lot; it helps me check other colleagues' attendance. The time off and attendance feature is also great because it helps me track my time and plan future holidays. From a developer's perspective, I find the documentation unclear, and there was a random rate limit ratio that wasn't documented on some endpoints. It was suddenly removed without any communication. Also, I disliked having to hit four endpoints to retrieve employee start contract information. It would be simpler if the most important data were returned under persons. I like that Personio helps to see who has a working day today and who is on vacation or sick leave, which is convenient for planning meetings. I appreciate the ability to process all requests for vacation and remote work through the system and always be aware of how many vacation days I have left. Employee vacation requests come directly, and I can immediately see if vacation dates overlap. The organizational structure helps me understand who works in which department. The procedure for creating a user group in Team Calendar is not entirely convenient. When I click '+', check a person from the list, the number of group members does not change. There is also no button to create a new 'Saved view'; I found this functionality by accident. If there were such a button, it would be easier to learn about this functionality. It would also be convenient to integrate with Slack so that the corresponding status is set in Slack if a person is on vacation or sick leave, based on data from Personio. I like that Personio's UI is very simple to use, which makes logging my working hours easy and quick. I enjoy tracking my time there because of this simplicity. The option to select multiple days from the calendar and add the same entries into that really saves me time. Overall, it makes the time it takes to log my time very short. Contact with support is troublesome. Previously we had a dedicated contact point who took care of us whenever we encountered bugs/issues with the site. Currently this changed to a global contact help center - the response time is not satisfactory. There is also an aspect of bugs, for a couple of months now we successfully submitted plenty of bugs - way more than what we could have imagined comparing it to previous quarters. This unfortunately disrupts our internal processes like recruitment, hiring. We spend a lot of time trying to contact support and implement workarounds because we cannot waste time the when the bugs is resolved - candidates cannot wait, our onboarding progress cannot either.
