What do you like best about WebEngage?

The Ease of Integration is a lifesaver. It’s incredibly developer-friendly: I just added the SDK dependency, created a single helper class to wrap the initialization, and that's it. The service handles event flushing and data syncing flawlessly in the background. The Ease of Use of the dashboard is also great for debugging; I can verify if the events I'm triggering in code are actually reaching the server in real-time. The Number of Features - especially the journey designer - saves me from writing complex backend logic to manage user states. What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The Ease of Implementation gets a bit tricky when customizing advanced UI elements. While the basic integration is smooth, styling the in-app notifications to match my app’s theme took some guesswork and wasn't straightforward. Customer Support is decent, but sometimes they struggle to answer deep technical queries regarding the SDK internals quickly. I also feel the documentation could be better for edge cases. What do you like best about WebEngage?

I am a first time CRM user and WebEngage was the first tool that I have ever used. From the onboarding through Webengage Academy to the knowledge base, I have never felt lost with this software and how things work. All features just make sense! The potential is unlimited as we are actively adding new features while implementing BAU requirements as per our requirements. The Manager support is great as well with multiple offline meets schedule for planning alongwith that a great technical support is also provided where issues are usually resolved within 24 working hours. I have been using WebEngage daily for the past 2 months and I am able to apply all of my marketing knowledge using the tools available on here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

While I have much nice things to say about the platform, I can still say that the server speeds can be a bit better(our database is way too big as well). But, apart from that I have had no complaints from the portal or the support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

WebEngage makes it really easy to manage multi channel campaigns from a single platform. The segmentation and automation features are strong, and the ability to personalize messages based on user behavior helps improve engagement. At times, the dashboard can feel a bit slow when handling large datasets, and certain reports take longer to load. It would also help to have more flexibility in creating custom reports and better visibility into user journeys across channels. The ability to unify user data and engagement in one platform. Making segmentation, journey creation, and multi-channel communication (email, push, WhatsApp, on-site) straightforward, scalable and giving us the visibility for campaign execution.

What do you like best about WebEngage?

I like the segmentation part, especially the live segment feature & refresh list. New analytics event dashboard, which i use everyday. it was very easy to switch from the previous tool to the webengage. Implementation was very smooth.

WebEngage missing the segment creation feature while setting up a campaign, instead, i have first create a segment, wait till its finished and then set up the campaign.

They’ve added visual pre-built templates for product recommendations (e.g., “Top Items”, “Personalised Suggestions”, “Relevant Products”) so you don’t always have to start from scratch.

More flexibility in filtering & sorting recommendations via “Collections” — you can use nested conditions (AND/OR logic), combine user attributes, events, campaign inputs in real time.

Collapse Key for Push Notifications

If you have multiple push notifications that are related (e.g., different status updates of an order), the new collapse key ensures only the latest relevant message is shown, not clutter.

What do you like best about WebEngage?

The Customer Data Platform (CDP) is really helpful, it lets us bring data from different sources together and get a full view of our users.

Setting up and tracking transactional emails is simple, which saves time and reduces mistakes.

Marketing automation has gotten much better. We can now create complex workflows with multiple triggers and conditions without needing extra tools.

The platform also has improved analytics dashboards, giving more insights into user behavior and how campaigns are performing.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The dashboard can be a bit confusing for new users. Grouping similar features together would make it easier to find things.

Sometimes, reports take a little longer to load, especially when working with large datasets.

Some parts of the interface, like the campaign builder, aren’t very intuitive. Some options are hidden under multiple clicks, which can be frustrating.

What do you like best about WebEngage?

As someone new to Webengage, I have found it to be a highly capable and useful platform. What I appreciate most is its ability to unify multiple channels, allowing for personalized journeys—this feature is what I enjoy most about using LiveLaw. Because of this, I find myself using the platform quite frequently.

Although I am not from a technical background, I have an interest in technology, and I found the interface to be user-friendly. However, there are still some technical aspects that I struggle to grasp. During those times, the POC, Vineeth, has been very helpful and provided valuable support.

I would've loved to have sample case studies where can refer to for creating journeys and campaigns with webegage. there isn't much content out there to help me do this. What do you like best about WebEngage?

I have been using WebEngage from last six months for my organization. Its user friendly dashboard is all what i loved the most. Sending marketing communications to target audience is very easy, it offers various channels like Whatsapp, RCS, SMS, Email and WebPush Notifications. Moreover, it is very easy to create various types of Audience Segments. The most important thing is it has capability to reach unknown users via Onsite Notifications. And those users can further be used for remarketing purposes via Google and Meta Ads. I highly recommend WebEngage to Marketers who want to go with Automation.
