**What do you like best about Insightly CRM?**

Insightly has helped our company with being more organized. We can run the reports that we truly need and track down every single project, lead or opportunity. It's very user-friendly and the best part is it's fully customizable to truly fit our company's wants and needs. Our company has many different branches so being able to have the accounting team see what matters to them as well as the payroll team not only saves time but boosts productivity. Having the opportunity and lead pipelines have helped our sales team track down every new client with ease. Insightly has truly been a powerful tool for our company and we are excited to keep moving forward with them.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

There are not many dislikes everyone on the Insightly team is fully responsive and helpful. whenever we have an issue Insightly support team is quick and provides the information my team needs.

**What problems is Insightly CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem we use to have was tracking down projects and being able to see our recurring clients. We also have a Tax Team here at Duran Business Group so being able to separate our tax, accounting, digital media and payroll clients have been amazing. As well as having the pipelines so we can fully track down the status of projects.

I am using this tool mainly for email feature and bulk editing. The best thing is that you can send email by just one click and history gets saved. Also the bulk editing while using of a big data is very much effective.

The ability to track projects and preset tasks, and then have access from all my devices be it phone, Ipad or desktop.

The costs for a one user license has gone up a lot from when I started using it for free!

Keeping all of my business information in one place and having access when I am on the road not just in the office is invaluable when you are a one-man band which then allows me to solve problems without needing to return to the office.

Email activity doesn't capture bounce backs. Must be manually updates as a non working email.

Sending out emails to specific niches is easy. But sending it out directly through Insightly filters it as spam in inboxes.

Insightly is amazingly helpful when linking different types of data entries to each other. It lets you see the whole picture for a particular project.

I dislike the cosmetic customizing options, they are quite limited. Everything is orange, which is fine, but a dark mode would be nice.

In a snapshot it shows me the contact, which business they work for and which projects they or the business is currently working on, lots of info - very helpful.

**What do you like best about Insightly CRM?**

I love the customization of Insightly. Out of the box, it works... yet you can create custom views, filters, fields, and reports. The task management feature is impressive for a team, with categories, custom views, and assigning tasks. Multiple project pipelines ensure various types of projects are well managed. Activity sets (or workflows) keep everything moving forward. I am a CRM expert who helps clients implement CRM systems, and Insightly is my "go-to" CRM for non-industry-specific systems. It is versatile and utilized in many industries. A beginner can use Insightly, yet the software offers features that even a data nerd appreciates.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

My least favorite part of Insightly is the number of clicks it takes to get to specific screens. The layout is not as intuitive as other CRM systems I have used, but the features make up for that. The learning curve is a little bit steeper due to the non-intuitiveness, but once you get used to it, you will never look back.

**Recommendations to others considering Insightly CRM:**

Try it out. Hire someone to help you set it up if you are tech challenged. Once it is set up and you know how to use it, anyone can do it!

**What problems is Insightly CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I track all of my leads, clients, projects, and tasks in Insightly. I do not have to worry about anything or anyone slipping through the cracks. I can analyze and run reports for any field in the system, which gives me a full view of how business is going and where I should spend my marketing dollars. My whole team uses Insightly daily, which eliminates a lot of texts, phone calls, and emails - leading to increased productivity!

Inability to do mass texting campaigns. Would like to be able to have made for you templates for emails and texts that can be used for each tag/group that is created. Being able to send staggered text/email messages to my database. SMART plans would be nice where you can put particular contacts/groups onto a smart plan that automatically texts/emails them as opposed to having to do it manually

Insightly has helped us automate many time-consuming CRM tasks and simplify and streamline managing leads and converting them to customers. Insightly integrates well with many systems and, as such, could easily be incorporated into our existing infrastructure.

Getting emails associated with contacts works well but with leads I have to often do it manually once they are in the Insightly inbox.

This CRM is easy to learn, easy to use, and extremely capable as a CRM, especially for our B2G-oriented business. Our small sales team has been able to customize our opportunity pipeline over time to fit our specific sales flow needs, and the mobile app lets everyone keep an eye on our targets even on busy days.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

The only downside we've faced is in the user interface, where there are some modules we simply don't use, e.g. the task tracker (we use another) but can't hide from view.

**Recommendations to others considering Insightly CRM:**

Give yourself a full afternoon to begin learning Insightly and use their very detailed user guide.

**What problems is Insightly CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that we can be attentive to prospects is key with B2G sales. These professionals are busy and overworked and their attention is divided, so consistent follow-up and remaining aware of their organizational needs (i.e. addressing their questions specific to their workflow as well as helping them get sign-off from other departments) is a critical part in helping close deals.

The customization that you can implement is very nice and makes things easy to find with all the unique fields you can put in.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

I strongly dislike the 1-hour cache. It's been brought to my attention that dashboards and reports can't be on the same speed level of updating, it has to be one or the other which is ridiculous. My company mainly uses reports and with them being cached for 1 hour this really makes things difficult to coordinate because we can't see the updates from the report, we have to go into each individual project.

Very flexible and customizable.  You can add lots of custom fields on objects and set up automations.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

Lots of irregularity and warts. E-mail integration works for Google Business but not other accounts; have to forward E_mails manually to Insightly to get them to appear, and they intentionally block auto-forwarded E-mails for some reason. Can link people and projects, but can't link people and custom objects.

Also, the UI is just plain slow.

Being able to create pipelines accessible to all users.  Finding all the relevant documents in one place.   Being able to convert opportunities to projects is a bonus

The organization and the contact should be not separate, when entering details of clients you have to enter the organisation  details separately which I feel is a waste of time.

The pipeline helps in showing which stage of the project is at and one can attach pictures and documents for the projects.  So one can find everything they need about the project in one place

Filters, layout, easy to use, it helps me to keep track of my daily tasks and company tasks. It is great to see and track the performance, analytics, opportunities, etc.

I can't really think of anything. It took me a little long to learn how to use it properly, how to make adjustments, create filters. One thing is that I can't see my coworkers' tasks unless the filter is created.

I like how I can have opportunities (for my potential clients/listings) and then convert them to projects (for the listing/sale).  Ability to use tags so I can easily identify who has purchased/sold a home with me in a given year.  I set reminders to check on my projects (listings/sales) already in progress, with clients.  I like how I could use my own data fields to better correspond with my real estate business.  Great CRM!

I haven't found a dislike yet.  Anything I couldn't find, I was able to eventually find and utilize.

We can manage all our sales cycles from opportunity through to project/service delivery very well with Insight.ly. The integration with GSuite is good, and the overall user friendliness is better than many comparable tools

There is an annoying BCC  that I cannot get rid of, and once you enable this feature, I appear to be stuck with all my GMails automatically filling the BCC in. The technical team at Insightly have been very good at trying to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, it appears to be stuck. This can be an issue as I do not want every email going on view in Insightly and have to remember to remove this from BCC before sending emails.

**What do you like best about Insightly CRM?**

The most valuable component of Insightly is the tagging feature and the ease at which I can capture email from Gmail. The integration with Google products is seamless and has continually improved over the years as Gmail upgraded. I'm in the entertainment industry and having the ability to connect the dots for a talent manager allows me to track every facet of my client's career. The other feature I like a lot is the recent activities stream. Not much is talked about this feature, but most CRMs do not have this display. To me, it is far more important to see what is happening moment to moment with everyone and everything surrounding my company as compared to sales charts or pipeline graphs. I love the comment component a lot too. I use recent activities in the same way companies use "Slack" or "Microsoft Teams". I wish Insightly put more effort into expanding this feature because like Slack it optimizes communication within a company.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

I don't like the inability to adjust the order of activities within an activity set. It would also be nice if the link feature for the Gmail sidebar was more user-friendly. The older version of the sidebar was very convenient to add links to an email. This version is cumbersome, though I get that it is more versatile. When linking emails I just like it to be quick and simple. What I do now is just quick save and then go into Insightly to link. But this is a whole extra step that takes me out of email mode. Not that big of a deal, but certainly would be nice to adjust so it was quicker. The other thing is the mobile App is not great. In reality, it is practically unusable. It has certainly improved over the years, but it's nowhere nearly as useful as the online version of the software. Why doesn't the Home screen offer a "recent activities" view option? Also, the sorting of contacts feature simply doesn't work at all.  As currently constructed it is nothing more than a dressed-up phone book. This is by far the weakest offering by Insightly.

The CRM allows me to track my clients and their projects with optimum efficiency. For a minute I started using Asana for tracking projects until I realized Inisghtly was far superior and it allowed me to stay with one program.

Insightly Dashboards & Reports are used in my team's daily workflow. They are reference points to check the status of key accounts (projects). The reports can be sent by email which allows my team to stay on track with key metrics.

The search feature in Insightly could be improved. It can be difficult to find an account (project) if you haven't already searched the project before. We've given this feedback to our Account Manager and are hoping it will be updated soon.

Insightly allows my team to successfully meet their key performance indicators. We're easily able to keep track of customer experiences and communication through the activity section of the project.

When I was searching for a CRM I tried about 5 or 10 platforms. All of them looked heavy or lacked some essential features. When I opened Insightly I knew it was what I looked for. Contacts cards in Insightly show you all details you need in one window.

I did not noticed bit problems with Insightly. The only think I wanted them to add - some new languages to their interface. Not all of our employees speak English.

Insightly is currently used for our project as contact management system with the plans to use it in full force - like a CRM. So far this is the software that unites all our clients data.

The graphical user interface, the dashboards and report are really useful. So is the filter list views and the relation between objects. The GUI is customisable, which is truly useful as well :-)

There is one major drawback of the system, and that is the fact that in any kind of logic (including queries for dashboard cards, filtered lists, and reports), there doesn't seem to be any way of making a query by selecting across multiple tables in the database. This is in fact a huge drawback.

Easy input, especially during the pandemic when we've all been remote. The tags allow you to easily link people to one another and getting to group individuals by their corporation is fantastic. This definitely has helped while assisting 6 superiors who can look at Inisghtly for an easier reference while in different timezones. You can even link their social profiles which pops up their photo - it's so helpful, always. We won't use anything else at our company.

I have no complaints! Seriously, this is better than having someone's email pop up from recurring contact! Trust me, Insightly is it!!!

The problem is a lack of communication. With Insightly, you can insert everyone's contact information and be so detailed that no one has any questions afterward. This is the future of digital databases.

I can enter all my leads. Create opportunities and have 90 days, 60 days, 30 days pipeline. Also, my boss can keep a tab on my progress and this becomes like a regular reporting.

Creating an onboarding sequence that matches my requirements was possible with Insightly where it hasn't been with other systems. Automated work flows and activity sets make things very streamlined, especially with issues like GDPR obligations.

**What do you dislike about Insightly CRM?**

The one thing that I would love to see in Insightly is the ability to open and edit spreadsheets of some kind directly in the app. And while the mobile app that's available is also excellent, it doesn't quite match the web app which means that habits that I've formed using the web app have to be slightly altered on the mobile app.

Customer details management, project management, keeping different project sets with different companies separate, GDPR review reminders, onboarding and offboarding of clients, efficient sales follow through on leads and opportunities.
