  ### 1. All-in-One Monitoring Platform: Uptime, Synthetic & API Checks, Alerts, Reports, and RUM

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What I like most about Uptime.com is that it brings together basic uptime monitoring, advanced synthetic and API monitoring, alerting, reporting, status pages, and real user monitoring in one platform, rather than making me rely on multiple separate tools.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

If I were evaluating Uptime.com critically, the main drawbacks I’d highlight are these.

Advanced features can be complicated to set up. Basic uptime checks are easy enough, but many users report a real learning curve with transaction monitoring, alert escalation rules, and other higher-level capabilities. Some reviewers also say the newer interface versions feel less intuitive than earlier ones.

False alerts still happen. Several users mention occasional false positives or an excessive number of notifications, which can lead to alert fatigue—especially for teams that depend heavily on SMS or after-hours paging.

Pricing can get expensive as your monitoring needs expand. Reviews often point out that costs rise as you add more checks, SMS notifications, workflow monitoring, or premium features, and this tends to be felt most by startups and smaller teams.

Some functionality seems locked behind higher-tier plans. Users have complained about limits around monitoring frequency and SMS credits, along with add-on charges for things like status pages, which can make lower-tier plans feel restrictive.

Finally, traditional uptime monitoring has built-in blind spots. That isn’t unique to Uptime.com, but it’s a limitation of the category: a service can report “up” based on HTTP 200 responses while real users are dealing with broken logins, failed checkouts, JavaScript issues, or major performance degradation. That’s why many teams pair uptime monitoring with synthetic transaction testing and real-user monitoring.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com addresses the challenge of limited visibility into the availability and performance of critical websites, applications, APIs, and infrastructure. Without continuous monitoring, outages or service degradations can slip by unnoticed until users report them, which increases downtime and negatively affects the customer experience. With proactive monitoring and real-time alerts, Uptime.com helps our team spot and resolve issues early, before they spread or escalate. For us, this translates into less downtime, faster incident response, better support for meeting SLA commitments, and greater stakeholder confidence in the reliability of our services.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more about your experience with advanced configuration, alerting, pricing, and monitoring features so we can better understand where we can improve. We appreciate your feedback around setup complexity, false alerts, scalability, and the areas where you would like to see more flexibility.

We have a few questions and ask you please reach out to our support team at support@uptime.com to allow us to continue to look into this for you. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your feedback in more detail and better understand how we can support your monitoring needs.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I find Uptime.com very reliable and easy to use. It does exactly what they say it will do, and the GUI is simple and easy to understand on first use. I also appreciate the feature that lets me configure a user login to ensure that sites aren't just up and running but can also receive and process login requests.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I honestly cannot think of anything that I dislike about Uptime. It does everything that I need it to do in order to assist me with my daily responsibilities.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com alerts me if a public site or service is down, and I can check historical logs for performance. It provides reliable and easy-to-use monitoring, including testing login functionality of sites.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

  ### 3. Streamlined Monitoring with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that Uptime.com is web-based and designed in a very user-friendly way. The dashboards make it easy to see how reliable the services have been over time, and it's very simple to set up a basic network check for our public servers and services. It only takes a few minutes to set up a new network check, and the dashboard shows immediately if I have any issues with my services. The initial setup was extremely easy, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The method to set up a user login check on Uptime.com could definitely be better. The tool isn't user-friendly; it takes much more time to set up and configure, and it doesn't seem to work reliably. Plus, there are just too many steps involved, and the options are confusing, not well labeled, or documented.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com automates checks on our public servers and services, saving us from manually monitoring them tirelessly. It makes us proactive with issue alerts. We set up network checks in minutes, and the user-friendly dashboard immediately shows if there are issues.

  ### 4. Highly Customizable with Robust Monitoring Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I really like the flexibility of Uptime.com, especially how it allows control over the look and feel of the status page. I appreciate the diversity of the types of checks we can add. Uptime.com consistently adds new features, which is impressive. The monitoring checks, status pages, and alerts are all features I value highly. I also find the flexibility of the status page beneficial, and there have been no types of checks we wanted that Uptime.com hasn't been able to accommodate. Additionally, the product provides a way for our customers to subscribe to updates, which I find useful.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

We ran into a few issues where we wanted more control over the incident management features. There are a few elements of the UI for configuring checks that were not intuitive, but we were able to figure those features out.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WE use Uptime.com for publishing public and internal status pages. It helps us communicate status and performance against SLAs to customers and monitor various APIs, including third-party systems. The range of checks supported and status page customization were winners for us.

  ### 5. Simple, Reliable Monitoring with Clear Visibility and Timely Alerts

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The simplicity and reliability. Uptime.com is easy to set up and gives us clear visibility over the availability of our services, with timely alerts when something goes wrong. The dashboard is intuitive, and it makes it easy to monitor multiple services without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There isn’t much to dislike overall. If anything, some of the more advanced configuration options could be more intuitive, and the alerting could offer greater flexibility to reduce unnecessary notifications. More customisation in reporting and dashboards would also be useful.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us proactively monitor the availability and performance of our services and quickly identify when something goes wrong. The real-time alerts mean we can respond to issues before they have a significant impact on customers, reducing downtime and improving overall service reliability. It also gives us a centralised view of performance, making monitoring much easier to manage.

  ### 6. Effortless Monitoring with Uptime.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** zach l. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal incentive as thanks for completing this review.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor our publicly accessible servers and network services, and it dynamically checks them, alerting us when services are unavailable or underperforming, saving me from doing it manually or assigning it to my team. The best part is it's a web app that's easy to access via a browser or mobile device, and it's well designed and easy to use. The product is very user-friendly, making setting up network checks simple and offering good reporting. The dashboard is the feature I use most, showing the current state of all my monitored servers and services. I'm very happy with how it functions and its cost.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There's a way to test user logins for a website, and while that feature is useful, it's very difficult and time-consuming to set up and test. The user login testing is really the only area of Uptime.com that I don't like, and mainly, it just needs to be easier to set up a test.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com dynamically checks servers/services and alerts me if they're down or underperforming, so I don't have to monitor them manually or assign team members. It's user-friendly, easy to set up, and has a great dashboard and reporting, accessible via web and mobile apps.

  ### 7. Reliable Website Monitoring and Instant Alerting Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gürcan A. | BROADCAST IT SPECIALIST, Broadcast Media, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The alerting speed and monitoring accuracy continue to be extremely reliable over time. The dashboard remains clean and easy to navigate, and the detailed downtime reports consistently help us catch and resolve server issues before our users even notice.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Regional pricing or more affordable entry-level packages for international teams would still be a great addition. More options for customizing notification frequency would also enhance the experience.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our system needs to be operational 24/7. While we were looking for a tool that would instantly notify us of any problems that may occur 24/7, we started trying uptime, and it meets our wishes.

  ### 8. Easy to setup, nice dashboards and good integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

This reviewer's identity has been verified by our review moderation team. They have asked not to show their

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime is straightforward to set up and get running, and their documentation is thorough. There’s also a wide range of monitor types you can add. We recently migrated from an alternative partner that sunset their product, and within an hour we were fully up and running with a dashboard we could share internally.

We also liked that you can add SMS messaging as a monitor action, which we use for on-call staff. On top of that, it’s helpful that you can monitor cloud services such as Azure UK South Compute and Fabric.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

We wish you could add an action for all monitors, rather than having to configure each one individually. We have an integration with Fresh to raise tickets, and we’d like to be able to set this as a blanket action for any alert that’s raised.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re able to monitor critical infrastructure using a solution that sits outside our hosting platform. That way, we can still see what’s happening even if our cloud provider is experiencing issues or reporting a different status.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We appreciate your feedback regarding alert configuration and understand how valuable it would be to apply actions, such as your Fresh integration, across multiple monitors instead of configuring each one individually.

We wanted to let you know that Uptime.com does offer a Bulk Update tool, which allows you to apply changes to multiple monitors at once, helping simplify configuration and management. You can learn more about this feature here: https://support.uptime.com/hc/en-us/articles/22692136914844-How-to-Edit-Checks-in-Bulk

If the Bulk Update tool doesn't fully address your use case, we'd love to learn more about your workflow and how we can improve the experience.

Please reach out to our support team at support@uptime.com so we can discuss your feedback in more detail and better understand how we can support your monitoring needs.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Easy to sign up and configure. It has advanced options like custom HTTP headers and authentication. The dashboard gives a quick overview of how our websites are doing in terms of uptime and load speeds. Can set up multiple contacts per check and create escalations if you have a queue of support personnel. Reasonable pricing for the features offered. It is also super helpful to be able to test your conditions for a check before creating it.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

So far, uptime.com has provided everything we need.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous monitoring service did not handle quotation marks in the custom headers. This was a requirement for monitoring Shopify because in May 2026 they began sending 429 and 503 errors to traffic they identified as "bots". Uptime.com handles it perfectly, so we are no longer receiving false downtime alerts.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I really like the scenario engine of Uptime.com. It allows me to implement complex scenarios in detailed customer journeys. I also appreciate the fact that it guarantees me a neutral measurement through numerous points of presence and notifies me in case of an incident. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I sometimes encounter bugs with the scenario engine when I prepare a probe, such as random crashes and the inability to add a button. This forces me to redo the probe with the code tool. However, these issues are minor.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com provides me with a neutral measurement through numerous points of presence and alerts me to incidents. The scenario engine allows me to implement complex scenarios in detailed customer journeys.

  ### 11. Reliable Real-Time Monitoring with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Munikiran R. | Network Operations Center Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor website availability and ensure all services are running without downtime. The real-time alerting system and detailed monitoring insights are the most valuable features, helping in quick issue identification and fast response. Real-time alerts notify me instantly about any outages, allowing for quick response, while detailed monitoring insights help in analyzing root causes and preventing recurring issues. The initial setup was fairly straightforward and easy to get through. The interface is intuitive, which made configuring monitors and alerts quick. Most basic setups could be completed without much effort, and the documentation was helpful when needed.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Alert noise reduction and more granular configuration options would be beneficial. Additionally improving reporting flexibility would add more value. For reporting, more flexibility in building custom reports would be valuable. This could include the ability to create tailored dashboards, apply advanced filters, schedule automated reports, and export data in multiple formats. For alert noise reduction, I'd like to see better deduplication and correlation of alerts so that related issues are grouped into a single incident instead of generating multiple notifications. Handling of flapping alerts could also be improved by introducing intelligent suppression or cooldown periods.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor website availability, detect issues quickly, and ensure services run without downtime. It solves the problem of delayed incident detection with real-time alerts and detailed monitoring, reducing downtime and ensuring a faster response to outages.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more about your experience with alerting and reporting features and try to resolve this for you.

Let’s brainstorm some ideas and possibly set up a meeting to discuss this further. I think it would be great to gather everyone’s insights and come up with a solid plan to improve the interface.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Receiving all issues on real time was a game changer to our website, helped our team to move fast and fix all issues quicker. I think it's worth 100%, I would recommend every time.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I’d like to see more focus on UX, making things easier for the end user to understand what journey they need to follow. It would also help to integrate more AI to support the devs, so we can rely less on support and be freer to improve the software ourselves.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any time our live player or any feature is down we receive a message. Also for small integrations, so we can jump directly on the core of the problem, and not just scratch the surface of it.

I find the tool for testing user logins not easy to use. It takes me some time to get the user login test built and functional. I feel it could be more user-friendly, like the rest of the site. It's too difficult for me to work with.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor server availability and performance, eliminating the need for IT staff to manually check them. It's easy to use and offers helpful alerts and dashboards.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

A few years later, uptime.com still works very reliably, the free tier has still lots of options and the basic functionality hasn't changed. Good to see that.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I have nothing to add to my review from two years ago, when I wrote: The pricing model is not really competitive from my point of view. A lot of options could also be achieved by a dedicated solution in the private cloud we're using.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We definitely need to know when and if our website is down. It did not happen so far, but during the nightly tests we ran, uptime.com reliably alerted us so that we could have taken action in a real event.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com for our large company monitoring 99 URLs. It does a good job at notifying us quickly if any pages go down. I find it reliable because it notifies us within just a couple of minutes, and so far, we haven't had any problems with it. The initial setup was relatively easy, even though I needed to communicate with tech support a few times to understand the terminology and how to select the servers for monitoring etc..

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

None

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor 99 URLs across 40 communities. It quickly notifies us if any pages are down, which is crucial. It's reliable, with alerts within minutes, and we've had no issues so far.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com offer unlimited reporting available on all plans. It was easy to set up quickly. I also appreciate the historical uptime reports for performance analysis over time, which help me keep track of system efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I find Uptime.com lacking a unified dashboard for monitoring multiple services. This makes it a bit cumbersome to manage various aspects in one place. Also, I'd like to see expanded support for custom scripts for common-based checks, which would enhance the customization and flexibility of the checks.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps my performance analysis by providing historical uptime reports and offers a unified dashboard for monitoring multiple services.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We were after a simple external pinger service. There are many out there, but they're all very cheaply done. They do the job but suffer api issues and other problems that expose their lack of support and professionalism. Uptime.com strikes a perfect balance of being cost effective but also being a well run tech company. They have everything you'd expect from an enterprise supplier, and don't charge the earth for a simple service, like Datadog, Pingdom, etc.
Their account management, support, and enhancement processes have been solid.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some features are missing to really complete the picture, but we've not been a customer for long and some have already been addressed.
I'm very confident that we'll see the others delivered also.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main reason for purchasing uptime.com is as a simple external pinging service. The reason we migrated off a previous provider was because of unreliable APIs and support when their service was causing issues.
Uptime.com has none of these problems, is a better enterprise level partner, and their customer service is top notch.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about Uptime.com — we truly appreciate it!

We're glad to hear that your experience has been positive overall and that some of the features you were looking for have already been addressed.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

We recently implemented uptime.com to monitor the health and availability of our production website, and overall the platform has been solid and straightforward to use.

The setup process was relatively easy. What stood out most, though, was the flexibility to configure monitoring that goes well beyond basic uptime checks. We were able to set up multi-region monitoring (US East, West, and UK), SSL/TLS certificate validation, content validation using regex matching, HTTP status code enforcement, retry and sensitivity thresholds to reduce false positives, and escalation notifications for our internal team.

We especially appreciated being able to tune monitoring behavior so we didn’t get unnecessary alerts, while still catching real outages quickly. Features like retries, multi-location sensitivity, and response-time SLAs helped us build a more dependable monitoring setup than a simple ping check.

We also run behind Cloudflare, and uptime.com worked well in that environment once we properly configured probe allowlists and headers. It provides enough control to feel production-ready without becoming overly complex.

The interface is clean and well organized, particularly after you understand how the different monitoring sections fit together—Validation & Security, Execution & SLA, and Escalations. The testing tools were also useful during setup, since we could immediately confirm whether our monitoring rules were behaving as expected.

Overall, uptime.com provides a strong balance between simplicity and advanced monitoring capabilities. It feels well-suited for teams that want more than a basic uptime monitor but don’t necessarily want the complexity of a full enterprise observability platform.

From a cost perspective, we’ve also been happy with the ROI at the pricing tier we selected. The feature set, flexibility, and monitoring reliability have justified the investment for our team without feeling overly expensive or enterprise-heavy.

We’re confident in the setup now and feel much better about detecting downtime, SSL issues, and site health problems proactively.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There are a few areas that could be improved. Some UI labels—especially those related to string validation—could be clearer for newer users. A few of the more advanced settings also need additional documentation or context than what’s currently provided. Finally, the escalation behavior may not be immediately intuitive, particularly for smaller teams.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps us proactively monitor the health and availability of our website, so we can spot issues before they significantly affect customers or internal teams. Before implementing it, we had limited visibility into outages, SSL problems, or performance degradation unless someone happened to notice something manually.

With the platform, we’ve been able to build a more reliable monitoring setup using multi-location checks, SSL validation, content verification, response-time tracking, and escalation notifications. As a result, we feel more confident that we can detect real issues quickly while keeping false positives to a minimum.

It has also streamlined internal communication, since alerts are automatically routed to the right team members rather than depending on manual checks or customer reports. Overall, it provides better operational visibility and more peace of mind around website uptime and reliability.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more about your experience with the user interface, documentation, and escalation settings so we can better understand where we can improve. We appreciate your feedback regarding clearer UI labels, additional guidance for advanced features, and making escalation workflows easier to understand for all users.

We have a few questions and ask you please reach out to our support team at support@uptime.com to allow us to continue to look into this for you. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your feedback in more detail and better understand how we can improve your experience.

  ### 21. Fast Setup, Deep Customization—Reliable Monitoring with Strong Slack & Atlassian Integrations

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It is very straightforward and easy to configure. You can start meaningful availability monitoring and alerting in 2 minutes, and then spend 3 more minutes configuring alerts and statuspage, and you have a fully working basic SLA monitoring solution. What i enjoy more though, is how deep into technical details and integrations you can go into, how customizable it is, once you've configured your basic checks.
I've consistently experienced situations where Uptime would detect customer facing availability issues faster and more reliable than our own internal systems, and with Slack and Atlassian stack integration all tickets were raised automatically, on-call engineers were notified in seconds. in my role as SDM lead, i found great value in reporting side as well, producing structured SLA reports.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

nothing. if i did dislike something - i'd use any number of competitors who provide similar service. but so far, having tried several major ones, i'm staying on Uptime due to its value, and effect on our customer satisfaction

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer satisfaction is no doubt a #1 problem that we solved. Specifically we got quite a bit of negative feedback regarding the fact the customers were discovering and reporting issues earlier than we could detect and raise an incident. With uptime our detection speed improved around 10x, it was down to couple of seconds for the customer facing issues, meaning that we could act upon this faster, and number of incidents that customers reported earlier than we did fell by 87% within couple of months

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The monitoring has been highly reliable and fast to notify us of issues. This has enabled us to reduce our downtime drastically as we are now able to act rapidly.
The interface is really friendly and monitors a simple to set up, even for more complex sites that sit behind authentication.
This has become a critical part of our quality assurance processes and it has proven to be easy to integrate into our workflows.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Occasional false positives can be a little frustrating but they do not happen often.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining high uptimes and keeping critical services running for our clients.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor the availability and performance of my external services and servers. I really appreciate its proactive alerts when a server or service goes down or when the performance is not optimal. The user interface is clean and easy to use, which makes setup and ongoing management simple and straightforward. I can clearly see all of my monitored services, their settings, status, and historical data. Making changes to any of the monitored services is also very user-friendly. Additionally, setting up Uptime.com was very easy, and overall, it's a very impressive tool.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There is a feature that allows you to test a User login for web pages. However, that tool can be hard to understand and use. I am never fully confident that I am doing it right or that the User login tests are reliable.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com monitors our services and servers, alerting us to downtime and performance issues. The clean, user-friendly interface makes monitoring, setup, and ongoing management easy. I can easily access service status, settings, and historical data.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that Uptime.com is pretty straightforward to get everything working. The basic HTTP checks are the main ones we use, and it's beneficial for checking our website uptime. I also appreciate having a Terraform provider, which allows us to define everything in Terraform. This integration helps us monitor from all of our other infrastructure to identify if anything is not working.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

We had, a free plan from a different organization, I found that maybe it got stuck in some kinda weird state. We had a lot of bugs where things weren't working. And there were errors being thrown, but they weren't showing up in the website UI, you had to look at the developer tools to see the errors being thrown. Also, the free plan, I think, didn't allow text messages to New Zealand. It was only the US and UK. Again, it didn't actually show that this was a limit, it just didn't send text messages and it took me a while to figure this out.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to check website uptime with basic HTTP checks. It straightforwardly integrates with Terraform and monitors infrastructure, alerting us if anything fails.

The reports are clear and useful to see how the services have performed historically. The initial setup was very easy and took just over one hour to set everything up.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like Uptime.com for its speed of the alerts and the reliability of the service, as it hardly ever goes down. It gives us early warnings when things fail, allowing us to be notified ahead of customers and stakeholders, enabling us to address issues quickly. The initial setup was simple enough.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

I suppose it would be nice to have more checks in a perfect world, but honestly, the service does what we need it to do. Uptime.com is limited in the sophistication of some checks; if we had more freedom to build more robust checks we may have stuck with Uptime.com alone.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com checks our service operations, providing early failure warnings and project testing. The alerts' speed and service reliability mean we resolve issues quickly, often before users and stakeholders notice.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Easy to use and set up the monitoring of our assets, price is good and allows us to offer customers a better experience with the status pages. Product has been reliable with no false positives and allows us to also get notified with a slack integration.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

During the few years we have been using it I haven't found anything that has caused us any issues, we haven't needed to raise any support queries during this time either.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Super simple to setup and easy to manage

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

It would be great to be able to have more customisation with branding in incident reporting, outage notifications etc that makes it feel more like something coming from out company than as generic 3rd party.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of incident notification to our customers is key. We operate a 24/7 business and to be able to notify our customers on the fly of service degradation is a massive win for us.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

It is easy to use, friendly UX, you don't need development skills to start using it. Next to that also the versatility, we use it for monitoring but also for 'warning' our customers about upcoming maintenance and disturbances

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There is only one thing I dislike, but that is quite an important one. If you store keys in a a secret field and you create an API call with that key you can actually see the secret key in the glogging.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to be in control and know that our APIs are not working before customers call us. With Uptime we are able to do this. We get alerts directly posted in Teams (which we have on our mobile) so we can respond quickly to issues.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

We would like to learn a bit more about the concern you raised regarding secret fields and the visibility of sensitive keys within logging. We understand how important security and data protection are, and we’d like the opportunity to investigate this further.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

The price is very low, which is a big plus. Deploying scenarios with the script recorder is also very easy, and monitoring scripts is efficient. I also appreciate that there are many options to share dashboards with my workmates. On top of that, the free push app messages for warnings are really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some protocols (such as Unix commands) can’t be executed easily. Also, there is no dedicated message or clear notification when an operation is performed in production (for example, an IP change).

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A quick warning in case my system experiences a complete blackout (for example, when the server can’t even send an SOS message before shutting down). It also gives me a clear, end-to-end view of my internet infrastructure and allows a third party to monitor my SLA, with data I can share directly with my client.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I find Uptime.com incredibly easy to sign up and set up, which is great for getting started quickly. I really like the iPhone app as it's good and easy to use. Their customer support is responsive, which is always a plus when issues come up. I appreciate that it's a cost-effective solution, which fits well with my small business needs. Uptime.com provides a scalable solution that makes it easy to add or modify new checks and even pause them on demand. I also like their business model, which allows for a flexible subscription either monthly or as a longer-term solution. Setting it up was super easy, even at a customer site, as I was able to set up a website check immediately.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Some of the messaging and controls could be a bit clearer. I had trouble pausing some of the checks through the browser, which was much easier through the iPhone app. I think it would be useful to have a "Pause" button available from the error email message.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com for monitoring website uptime and remote network checks. It helps detect issues on critical pages and confirms internet connectivity, making it reliable for my small business.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

I use Uptime.com and appreciate its reliability, simplicity, and consistency. The integration with PagerDuty works really well and connects seamlessly with our ticketing system. It's easy for our engineers to configure, allowing us to monitor systems and services of all different types without having to custom program specific extensions. **What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

You could add greater integration with Autotask, and possibly with tools like ESET, Kaseya, Sentinel from Microsoft, Azure, and so on.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Uptime.com to monitor our customers' web servers and systems. Its integration with PagerDuty and our ticketing system is seamless. It's reliable, easy for our engineers to configure, and lets us monitor various systems without custom programming.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I find Uptime.com very easy to use, and I really appreciate the clean and simple design of the site, which makes it easy to navigate and manage network checks. The platform saves time for our IT department by automatically checking the availability and performance of servers and circuits, notifying us of any issues. I also like that I can choose the regions of the world to perform checks from, allowing me to focus on areas where we have customers. The initial setup was straightforward and very easy.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The feature that lets me test user logins uses a tool that you record login steps. It's a little harder to use and the ability to test the logins does not always seem to be accurate.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com saves us time by automatically monitoring our servers and circuits, notifying us of any issues. It reduces the workload for our IT department by eliminating the need for constant manual checks.

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

What I like best about Uptime.com is its reliability and flexibility in monitoring critical services. It provides clear visibility into uptime, response times, and incident history, which is especially useful for managing distributed systems and microservices. The alerting is responsive and configurable, allowing quick reaction to issues.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Deeper integrations and advanced customization options could be improved to better support complex infrastructure setups. Pricing can also become a concern as usage scales.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com helps solve the problem of visibility into service availability and performance across distributed systems. It provides proactive monitoring and alerting, so issues like downtime, slow response times, or failed endpoints can be detected quickly instead of relying on users to report them. This improves incident response time and overall system reliability. It also gives historical data and reporting, which helps identify patterns, optimize performance, and validate uptime SLAs. Api calls is good to have it as well.

**AI Translated:** This review has been translated from Italian using AI.

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

I like that Uptime.com is economically accessible and particularly extensive in terms of available infrastructure (servers). It is essential that checks are done from different countries as well as the same one, and the check can be set with a fairly low time interval that ensures quick detection of anomalies. Recently, we have also set up checks towards internal server-to-server APIs that we were previously unable to monitor. Furthermore, the initial installation of Uptime.com was very simple.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

The RUM part could be more 'powerful'. Check performance at the URL level, general filters for device/country, the ability to view beacons, and temporal comparisons could be improved.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uptime.com is the first to detect outages and includes a call system to verify issues. It monitors near-real time in various countries, with short intervals to detect anomalies. We have set up checks on internal APIs that we previously couldn't monitor.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about Uptime.com — we really appreciate it!

We appreciate your suggestions for improving our Real User Monitoring (RUM) features. Feedback like yours helps us better understand where we can enhance the product, particularly around URL-level performance insights, filtering options, beacon visibility, and temporal comparisons.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

Nothing major to report it does what it promises. If anything, the interface could feel a bit more modern, but it doesn't get in the way of getting things done

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting about problems on the side quickly

It provides long-term visibility and data on the availability of our websites, which allows me to easily report those metrics to internal customers. It's reliable and offers a simple method for knowing when we have an availability issue. Plus, it integrates well without needing a significant investment in time and cost.

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Uptime.com?**

Uptime.com gives us peace of mind because we know we’ll be notified about issues as they happen. It’s helped us stay focused on the work at hand instead of constantly checking systems or relying on customer feedback to learn about an outage. The dashboard is straightforward to use, and I especially like the app because it lets me keep an eye on things even when I’m out of the office. Setup was simple and painless, and I haven’t had to go back and redo anything. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the service and plan to keep using Uptime.com for the foreseeable future.

**What do you dislike about Uptime.com?**

There isn’t much I dislike overall. That said, being limited to 5-minute check intervals on the starter tier feels unnecessary. I’d much rather see a different limitation to balance the plan, or have shorter intervals offered as an optional add-on I could pay for. As it stands, it comes across as a deliberate push toward the higher tier, which includes far more features than many people would actually need.

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 30+ locations that require constant monitoring to ensure the stability of the service we provide. Uptime.com gives us the clarity we need to spot disruptions as they happen. Before using Uptime.com, we were essentially flying blind and relying on customers to tell us when something was wrong. That approach, made us come across as unprofessional and unreliable, because reports would come in and we’d have no idea there was an issue until then. Now that we’re using Uptime.com, we’re often able to address problems before customers even notice. And if they do call to report an outage, we’re usually already working on it, which helps us get things back up and running faster than we could before.

**Official Response from Chinedu U:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Uptime.com — we really do appreciate it!

**What problems is Uptime.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**
