"Exceptionally Powerful Middleware with Outstanding Training Resources"
What do you like best about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

This is an incredibly powerful and highly configurable piece of middleware. It offers all the connectors that a typical company might require and integrates directly with Salesforce. The platform is regularly updated and, in my opinion, is supported by the best user training resources I have ever encountered. I would rate it even higher for users with the technical skills to take full advantage of its capabilities, but my score reflects the average experience for most users. Their new entry level SKU priocing means it's now more affordable than ever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

It is extremely difficult to set up for those without a technical background. To truly get the most value from it, you really need an implementation partner, and if you can afford that, you'll have an incredible piece of software. However, if you don't have that option and rely on in-house resources like Trailhead, you'll face a steep learning curve that may discourage many users. While it is now more affordable than ever, that doesn't mean it's cheap—it still represents a significant investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful API-Led Integration, But High Costs for Scaling"
What do you like best about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

What I appreciate most about the Anypoint Platform is its API-led connectivity approach. Unlike traditional integration tools, it promotes the creation of reusable components—such as System, Process, and Experience APIs—instead of relying on brittle point-to-point connections. This methodology has dramatically sped up our project delivery. For example, after developing a System API to connect with SAP, we have been able to reuse it across numerous projects. This has greatly reduced our development time and enhanced our organization's agility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

My main concern is with the licensing and overall cost of ownership. While the platform is priced at a premium—which makes sense considering its features—the vCore-based pricing structure can make scaling both difficult and costly, particularly for non-production environments or smaller projects. It frequently seems as though we are paying for more features than our mid-sized projects actually need, which makes the total investment feel quite substantial. "A Powerful Tool for API-led Connectivity and Integration"
What do you like best about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

What I like best: The platform's extensive features, particularly its comprehensive API management and integration tools, are highly valuable for connecting diverse systems and data sources. The ability to build and manage APIs effectively, along with features like runtime fabric for deployment, is a significant advantage.

What is most helpful: MuleSoft's strength lies in its ability to facilitate complex integrations, allowing organizations to connect disparate systems and data across various environments. The platform's built-in security features and governance capabilities are also crucial for managing APIs and integrations effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

What I dislike:

Ease of Use:

While powerful, the platform's extensive functionality can make it challenging to learn and use, especially for less experienced users. The interface, while comprehensive, can be overwhelming at first.

Ease of Implementation:

Setting up and configuring complex integrations can require significant effort and specialized knowledge.

Customer Support:

While the platform has good documentation, the complexity can make it difficult to resolve specific issues through customer support alone, requiring specialized expertise.

Frequency of Use:

The platform is typically used for strategic, long-term integration projects, rather than day-to-day tasks.

Number of Features:

While the large number of features is a strength, it can also be a drawback due to the steep learning curve.

Ease of Integration:

While powerful, integrating new systems or data sources can be complex and time-consuming, even with the platform's connectors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mulesoft for creating and managing APIs"
What do you like best about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

1. Creating mock api in mulesoft to integrate with FE so that FE is not dependent on BE , and once BE logic is ready we can replace mock API with actual api in FE without breaking anything.

2.RAML creation , as having a design of api along with api endpoint, structure, api response gives developer and non IT person an idea about the actual api , it also helps in identifying any missing features ,or keys which was crucial for FE to populate data.

3. Automatic API Documentation which is very user interactive and helps a lot while working with multiple team and we have to share data amongst them.

4. Right from Raml creation to creating mock api is easy to implement

5. On an average while developing a new feature mule is used frequently to refer RAML docs and mocking data

6. It is very easy to integrate with git, jenkins for automated deployment plans along with drag and drop connectors to configure it in UI.

7.It has dedicated customer support for enterprise customers which helps in troubleshooting anything within TAT Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

Licensing fee is little bit expensive which makes it ideal choice for large enterprise where budget is not a concern Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform also excels in monitoring and analytics, giving clear visibility into API performance and usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MuleSoft Anypoint Platform?

Still more developer's focus. come with a steep learning curve, especially for teams new to integration platforms or DataWeave. Not true iPaaS like Boomi

Additionally, performance tuning and debugging can be challenging in complex flows, and documentation, while extensive, sometimes lacks depth for advanced use cases.

Not easy for Migration and past experience for migration is pain Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
