This is an incredibly powerful and highly configurable piece of middleware. It offers all the connectors that a typical company might require and integrates directly with Salesforce. The platform is regularly updated and, in my opinion, is supported by the best user training resources I have ever encountered. I would rate it even higher for users with the technical skills to take full advantage of its capabilities, but my score reflects the average experience for most users. It is extremely difficult to set up for those without a technical background. To truly get the most value from it, you really need an implementation partner, and if you can afford that, you'll have an incredible piece of software. However, if you don't have that option and rely on in-house resources like Trailhead, you'll face a steep learning curve that may discourage many users. What I appreciate most about the Anypoint Platform is its API-led connectivity approach. Unlike traditional integration tools, it promotes the creation of reusable components—such as System, Process, and Experience APIs—instead of relying on brittle point-to-point connections. This methodology has dramatically sped up our project delivery. For example, after developing a System API to connect with SAP, we have been able to reuse it across numerous projects. My main concern is with the licensing and overall cost of ownership. While the platform is priced at a premium—which makes sense considering its features—the vCore-based pricing structure can make scaling both difficult and costly, particularly for non-production environments or smaller projects. It frequently seems as though we are paying for more features than our mid-sized projects actually need, which makes the total investment feel quite substantial. The platform handles application designing, deployment, integration, and managing app connections with data in hybrid environments and it is the best I have used.

I like the drag and drop capabilities and coding options that makes customization easy.

With the tool, finding, sharing and reusing connectors and API is easy and this speeds up app building/designing process.

With the platform, security is ensures and it is easy to deploy apps both on cloud or on company data center.

What I like about Mulesoft is that it is a Unified Integration Platform with API Design, Integration and Management all in one place reducing the need of using various softwares. 1. Creating mock api in mulesoft to integrate with FE so that FE is not dependent on BE , and once BE logic is ready we can replace mock API with actual api in FE without breaking anything.

2.RAML creation , as having a design of api along with api endpoint, structure, api response gives developer and non IT person an idea about the actual api , it also helps in identifying any missing features ,or keys which was crucial for FE to populate data.

3. Automatic API Documentation which is very user interactive and helps a lot while working with multiple team and we have to share data amongst them.

4. Right from Raml creation to creating mock api is easy to implement

5. On an average while developing a new feature mule is used frequently to refer RAML docs and mocking data

6. It is very easy to integrate with git, jenkins for automated deployment plans along with drag and drop connectors to configure it in UI.
