Sometimes the support response time can be slow for specific issues, especially when it requires escalation. Also, some of the fees and exchange rates could be a bit more competitive, especially for international transfers.

I like that Deel Payroll has a very nice UX and is pretty easy to use. The AI integrations are a great addition as they save me a lot of time by automating tasks like manually pasting information for contractors.

The support team usually takes quite some time to get back to me with responses. And, also, I think that the price is slightly elevated.

The simple UI, we can clearly check our contracts and payroll information, plus as soon as the amount is payed it gets into your account.

Sometimes it's difficult to remember where all the stuff is, specially in the mobile version, the web is pretty simple, but the mobile has lots of tabs and the screen is tiny, that makes it even harder to pin point where some specific stuff is.

I live in Brazil and work for a US company, without Deel receiving the paycheck would be nearly impossible, the simplicity of just creating an account and signing the contract is out of this world.

There are some issues though, the support has shifts and when you can't with them the agents are changing, so the new agent need to learn about all that happening to be able to continue with help which is exhaustive. Also their mobile app is filled with tons of bugs, which sometimes really annoying.

I believe this platform is a must-use for every developer working internationally. It allows you to have secure contracts with companies from outside your home country, all from the comfort of your own home. Even more importantly, it offers multiple withdrawal methods to help you manage your finances with ease.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I think the app has some kind of bugs when I want to use it as MFA, it freezes and I have to send multiple times the request authorizations, consider that I have an Android (Xiaomi Redmi 13).

**What problems is Deel Payroll solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies payments between developers and contractors. Contractors can pay in their preferred currency, while developers receive in their local currenciy or choose how they wan to manage their funds.

It offers multiple options to transfer the money from Deel to other platforms or a personal bank account, and it also offers different perks and offers, but I haven't used any of those.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

Depending on the method, some transfers incur high fees, so a lot of money is lost in the process. Also, the Deel card is not accepted on many online platforms and cannot be used in ATMs, which is kind of problematic and makes it not that useful.

I receive my payment through this platform and redirect it to other platforms depending on my needs.

What I like most about Deel is its incredible ease of use. The interface makes checking payments exceptionally simple, and the added feature of getting a debit card that integrates directly with Apple Pay makes it a significantly more convenient and agreeable platform. As a first-time user, I'm genuinely impressed and very happy with the experience.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

While I'm generally happy with Deel, there are a few issues that have been bothersome. Specifically, the mobile app notifications are problematic. I frequently see a persistent count of pending, unread notifications, and marking them as read doesn't consistently make the indicator disappear.

Furthermore, I believe the fee for a physical card is too high, especially considering the extended delivery time required to receive it.

It can sometimes be bothersome to receive payments on a platform other than PayPal. In this case, finding a platform where my payroll from an international company can be paid is a great advantage

My experience with Deel has been excellent. The platform is extremely intuitive—everything is clear and well organized, so I’ve never even needed to contact customer support. The contract signing and onboarding process was super quick and straightforward, just a matter of following the steps. Managing my information and documents has been just as easy. **What do you like best about Deel Payroll?**

Setting up my Deel account was fast and fairly painless. The contract templates are easy to fill out, tax/identity verification steps were clear. The dashboard guided me through what was needed. I appreciated not having to dig through confusing documentation or chase down too many unclear requirements.

The interface is clean, logical, easy to navigate. I could easily check upcoming payments, view contract status, know what is expected of me, and track completed payments vs. what was pending. Everything is organized so I didn’t feel like I was guessing.

Deel gives flexibility in how I receive funds. I could choose my local bank, or use other means where available. The ability to pick currency or withdraw using different payout methods helps reduce friction.

In general, payments arrive when expected. There were occasional delays, but far more often they were timely. Compared to some past experiences with manual wire transfers or dealing with bureaucracy between countries, Deel’s process is much more streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

Sometimes withdrawals took longer than expected. A bank transfer (especially international/SWIFT or banks with slower systems) might take a few days. It’s okay if you plan ahead; less convenient if you needed money quickly.

Some of the cost comes in how conversions are handled, or extra fees for certain withdrawal methods. Not dramatically excessive, but something to be aware of. If you’re receiving in one currency and converting to another, you lose a bit in the margin.

Also, mobile app-experience (if used) could be more polished.

I was able to get paid and paid on time. The app is both available on the web and on mobile phones which is helpful. Getting connected with Wise payments was also very easy. They have a wide selection of options for getting paid.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

It takes a really long time to load from the mobile app and the application is constantly receiving updates in the Web app so it always needs to be reloaded.

Verifying my identity in the application was a difficult process because it would scan my identity card and assume my first name and last name rather than using what I have inputted. It would always get my first name and last name wrong because Asian names have the first name last and the last name first which is the opposite of western names. This would have prevented me from getting paid because the name that Deel stores in their system was completely different from my bank account. Thankfully, the customer service was good and helped me resolve this after a week. After getting set up there were no more issues.

Deel makes it really easy to get paid from a US company while being outside of the US.

What I like most about Deel is how smooth and reliable it is for getting paid internationally. I’ve been using it for about five years now, and it’s honestly made my freelance life so much easier. The payments are always on time, the interface is super clean, and I love that I can choose how to withdraw my money (bank transfer, Wise, Payoneer, Coinbase, etc.). Deel also handles all the tax forms and contracts, which saves a ton of time and stress. It’s basically plug-and-play — you just sign your contract and get paid.

The only downside I’d mention is the conversion rates and fees. They’re not terrible, but you do lose a little bit when converting currencies or withdrawing funds depending on the method. Also, the verification process and compliance checks can be a bit strict or slow at times, especially when you’re setting up your account for the first time. But once everything’s verified, it runs smoothly.

Deel basically solved all the headaches I used to have with getting paid by international clients. I really liked, from the contractor side, that it stays connected to my accounts and keeps me updated about my payments. Since my company isn't that communicative about that, Deel does the work. I haven't seen the application as a business owner, but at least for me, it keeps it simple. 

Connecting the application to my accounts was easy, so I didn't need to do a robust integration to achieve it. Since it stays connected, I don't need to do anything else. I don't even need to get into the deel portal again to do anything when receiving payments. Also, it offers viability to get my money ahead in case of trouble (obviously with a fee), but that's a relief to have that plan B available.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I would love to have a training center on taxes. As I'm from another country, it would be beneficial for me to visit a place where I can learn more about taxes in other countries to ensure compliance.

It's hard to find any major flaws since the core service works perfectly. If I had to pick something, I’d say I’d like to see even more local withdrawal options with lower fees in the future. Also, the initial verification took a bit of time, but I understand it's for security reasons.

Deel makes getting paid internationally very simple. I don’t have to worry about complex contracts or bank delays anymore. All the money arrives exactly as expected, so I can just focus on my work while the platform handles all the paperwork and invoices.

The UI is so simple and neat. It makes navigation very easy without much confusions. There is also an option to setup your favorite widgets on the home page dashboard. That is also helpful.

**What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?**

I at times find it difficult to download all the documentation that is generated on Deel, example invoices are on one tab, FIRC certificates are on another, my contract on another. It would be great to have one section which hosts all downloadable documents in one place.

The company that I work for does not have a physical office address in the company that I work for. Making direct payments to me or even hiring resource from my country was not a possibility. But DEEL resolved this issue for my firm and myself. It gives immense hiring flexibility.

What I like most about Deel is how safe and professional everything feels. The payment security gives me real peace of mind, and it’s great to deal with serious corporate clients from around the world.
Everything on Deel is clear and well-organized — contracts, invoices, communication — it all just works smoothly.
Overall, it’s been a really good experience. Deel makes remote work feel stable, fair, and human, not just another platform.

What I dislike about Deel is that sometimes the fees can feel a bit high, especially for smaller projects or short-term contracts. Also, there are moments when payment processing or verification takes a little longer than expected.
But honestly, these are minor things compared to the overall experience — the security, organization, and support make up for it. It’s clear that Deel keeps improving, and that’s something I really appreciate.
