## About Visualping
Visualping monitors any webpage and alerts you when it is updated. The alert is sent via email or text message but also via any team notification service like MS Teams, Slack and also API or by entering a row in a spreadsheet. Visualping AI recognizes when a change is important or trivial and flags this in the email. This allows you to filter and focus only on the most relevant changes. Our AI also summarizes what changed since the last time it checked the page so you can save time. Our email notifications include a screenshot of the page with a highlighted area showing the change. Our dashboard provides more analysis tools. Visualping is used to automate monitoring of competitor websites, gain insight into market trends, product launches, pricing strategies, regulatory changes and thousands of other use cases.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I love that the tool makes it super easy to spy on competitors, both visually and text-only.

Since my initial review I've also started using it to monitor my own sites and it's been truly amazing.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Configuration takes some time, and onboarding new users to use is also a bit time-consuming.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone in a very competitive niche, it's crucial for me to know what my competitors are doing. With Visualping I can target specific keywords my competitors are using and Visualping will alert me if it notices their usage on my competitors' websites. Additionally, it helps me better analyze trends my competitors are following from one dashboard. I used to use the time machine to check for changes, which was extremely time-consuming.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

The best thing is the powerful difference detection, it can spot changes in text or appearance of the targeted website.  You don't have to get into any coding to identify what specific thing to monitor, it can just watch the whole page for text changes, or if you're doing visual monitoring, you can drag a box to select an area of interest. 
 The AI-generated summary of changes that they recently added to the email notifications is also very handy so you can instantly get a sense of whether there was a meaningful change or just a small tweak to the site that can be disregarded.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The interface to set up monitoring jobs is just a little bit unclear sometimes what each function does, and it can be slow when it initially scans/loads a page.  Also it is not smart enough to disregard a visual change when it is caused simply by the site adding a banner at the top that pushes the other content down.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very useful service because I can monitor my local city website for lessons and programs that get released, and I can sign up for them before they get sold out.  Also can monitor updates to companies I'm following, for example strikes and labour disputes , to get instant updates.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

Free plan with various options to monitor changes to a web page at a graphic, text or other content level, being able to choose review frequency. Ideal for monitoring different product price pages, job postings or other news or even to detect errors when a page does not load correctly. You will receive email notification when changes are detected. Additionally, you have payment plans with more options/functionalities.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I dislike that you have to login every few weeks to avoid deactivating the monitoring alerts that you have active.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I used to have to manually remember to visit websites to get the latest updates. For example, new swimming lesson times for my kids or the latest on the Canada Post strikes that could affect my business. But Visualping does this automatically for me. Also, I like the scheduling feature.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I wish Visualping had some sort of wiki where I could look up questions and answers from other users about how to get the most out of the system. There is limited documentation. Their customer support is only via email.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need an automated tool that monitors websites and lets me know when they change. Otherwise, I'd have to do this manually and set alerts for myself. I used to do it that way and it was a pain. Visualping is much easier and saves me time.

Visualping is a very useful tool which I can set up once and it will automatically notify me of website changes which is great for price tracking. The new AI summary is very helpful and accurate.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

Visualping provides reliable, timely notifications for monitoring website changes with an intuitive user interface serving a variety of ways to capture and track. The experience of using this service was smooth and seamless with no appreciable learning curve and no deficiencies in execution. As soon as a change was detected, a notification from Visualping was in my inbox. I highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

In my experience, Visualping works exactly as expected. In order to increase confidence, the service could send an email periodically to confirm that no changes have been detected on the website, as only positive, but not negative, confirmation is provided, although some users might find this annoying so it should be optional. I can only assume that all changes are detected having not seen an instance where a change was not detected or detected and not consequently reported.

I appreciate how easy it is to set up a monitor that checks frequently and only alerts me when there are changes. This feature has saved me a lot of time since I no longer have to manually check for updates. As a result, I've saved significantly on both holidays and airfares

I occasionally receive false alerts when a website fails to load. While this isn't an issue with Visualping itself, it would be beneficial to have a more effective way to filter these alerts.

Many companies simply post their jobs on their own websites, with no submission to job websites.

So the only real way to monitor for these opportunities is with a website monitor.

Visualping gets the jobs done - with enough settings to limit false positives.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

It takes a while to get the settings right for each particular website - seems there are lots of ways websites can change.

But Visualping seems to be the best in terms of features that allow you to start filtering out those false positives.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

Visualping has allowed us to maintain a small team size while still monitoring thousands of pages that can be updated at any time. Adding new pages for monitoring is easy, and we receive updates that are relevant to our services every day. There is minimal setup time and effort required, and we've made excellent use of their system.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Due to the nature of our industry, false positives are common, though that is inextricable from the fact that if a single character on a page changes we need to review and ensure it isn't relevant to our services.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring data for governmental entities and numerous jurisdictions is daunting when you consider there are over 3,000 counties in the US - but Visualping allows us to monitor these changes and update our services when necessary with a much smaller team than otherwise would be possible.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I just tried their AI Summarizer feature and it's an amazing time saver so I am updating this review. 

"Sumarizer" gives a short 2-3 lines summary of the change that occurred which makes it very easy and fast to understand what changed. My customer support representative told me I could upgrade to "Analzyzer" so that the AI can tell me whether the change is important or not. I haven't tried yet as there is an upcharge and a $500 one time set up fee.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

They should have a more generous free plan. 5 pages a day is not enough if you are on budget.

Tracking my competitors online. I track pricing, promotion and job vacancies pages. The email alerts include a summary of the change in 2-3 lines.

Visualping is especially useful for monitoring sites that are expected to change such as jobs that will be posted or anything that might be updated over time. Lots of use cases and great functionality in the free tier. Kudos to the team who built this great product.

No major points here. A minor point would be finer control of alerts in text based change detection.

I can easily track changes to websites for changes which helps me stay on top of things and see them first. I love that I can add websites and track changes made. It keeps me from falling behind the trends.

Nothing! I mean, it would always be great if more things were free, but of course businesses have to make money!

I don't end up behind my competition on announcing news because I can see when press websites are updated faster then they can.

Visualping offers a very easy way to monitor changes for crucial webpages. It saves me time and ensures that I don't miss important updates.

Recent changes have improved the UI, but more work is needed. Sometimes jobs remain active when I thought they had been disabled.

Its flexibility and it is very easy to use and they added a new ai that would summarize changes in a page

Nothing, honestly it does everything it is supposed to do and more.

Instead of having to keep track of job listings on multiple websites, you can just add them to visual ping and it will track them for you and notify you of any change and it will even use ai to summarize the changes for you.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I like that it's pretty simple and intuitive to create a new monitoring job to keep up with page changes, there is no previous experience required to work with it properly.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Using the free tier there is no way to sincronize the timing in which the jobs are ran, so they are running in different times throughout the day.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been tracking changes in availability for a hotel in specific dates, so I know when I'll be able to book it. In parallel, I've been tracking changes in pricing for another hotel, to see if there is an opportunity to change my current reservation to another one.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I have been using this tool in my company ever since it started to become more and more important and now It is an essential monitoring tool for us. I really appreciate that the changes are visual so any person of my organisation can easily check that everything is working alright or not. The notifications also work really well and the technician take your issues seriously and fast which is also appreciated.

The main issue might be the price but I also admit that these tools can be a bit pricey.

We can get new publications whenever there is a change and apply those updates.

No more needing to constantly check in on something to see if it's been updated. Save time and effort and let their service monitor pages for you. It's easy to implement a daily scan, and I find that I frequently use it for these annoying tasks. There are lots of features, but I don't find myself needing to use most of them for my purposes.

Checks are limited on the free tier, but if you're using them in a commercial setting, they're fairly affordable.

I really like the fact that I get notified whenever a website changes by email, so I don't have to look at it myself every day in case of a product change or a price change, etc.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The fact that it's so limited on the free version, particularly as they grandfathered the changes and limited me even further although I'd already registered and used the site long beforehand.

It provides me with an email (once a week) if the website changes, so I don't have to have it as an open tab and check it every time I remember to do so.

False positives = irrelevant website updates. Curating your configuration can, however, eliminate false positives over time. Pricing by update frequency can be annoying.

Visualping allows you to create scrapers to detect changes on public web pages. It runs them for you in a SaaS model with up to 5 pages for free, and emails you to review the changes it detects. It supports both text and image changes.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The email notifications do not deep link to the change shown in the email, but to the most recent scraping run. If you fall behind in reviewing them, you can struggle to match which run visible in the product is the one you're trying to find referenced in the email.

The scraper has trouble distinguishing between floating components (ads, accept cookie banners, etc.) and the page content which can lead to some false alerts.

Visualping allows me to track changes to web pages I am interested in. I have used it on stores to notify me when a product is back in stock or a product selection changes, on event pages to notify me as new speakers/attendees are announced, and on staff pages to notify me of new employees.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

Overall extremely easy product to use with easy setup process. We've been using the product for competitive intelligence reporting for a variety of products from a competing company and it's worked well to give us updates on certain products. Feature set is pretty solid and provides reasonable flexibility. We've basically integrated it into our competitive research process using email notifications. We're currently getting weekly notifications from the product, but will probably back down to a lower frequency as we're finding the tool does pick up on more site changes than expected. We haven't had a reason to contact customer support thus far, which I think is a pretty good testament to the ease of use for the product.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The behavior of the tool when dealing with interactive site elements does leave some to be desired. We were trying to interact with an accordion on a competitor site and wanted to look for change in a specific element inside that accordion, but the tool didn't have the flexibility to do that so we used a workaround. It still functions fine for our uses, but in the long run we may build a custom scraping bot for that specific competitor.

The UI is by far my favorite thing. I have tried multiple different websites that claim to do the same thing and they just aren't the same.

The only thing I don't like is how much is behind the paywall, but compared to other sites they give you the most features for free.

You can "set it and forget it". Sometimes it has false alerts but I believe that is because of the website I am monitoring not being up 24/7.

I wish I could get more than one daily update on the free plan.

Visualping is easy to use and has many ways of implementing CI and website tracking and integrating reporting into your current into your current workflows. Customer support is responsive and it's something I'm continually finding more frequent uses for. I've been able to sunset dozens of manual scripts through the use of their tools.

Setup of a new service always takes time, but with Visualping it will be a few easy minutes of configuration.

Visualping offers a comprehensive suite of competitive intelligence, website change monitoring, and website screenshot tools that deliver easy insights straight to your inbox. Complex websites are rendered and monitored with ease, allowing straightforward tracking of changes across competitor intelligence sources, retail sites for competitive pricing analysis, and even social media and YouTube pages. **What do you like best about Visualping?**

I've been able to cut out the manual work when it comes to checking competitor pricing. Especially during this Black Friday period when competitor checks are done multiple times a day, Visualping allows me to has visibility on multiple competitors while saving time.

Its also very easy to use and set up, so my teammates have been able to use and view all the tracking that Visualping has done.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Advanced scheduling could be more specific. Currently it seems like it only allows you to schedule once per day at the same time. It would be nice to be able to schedule for multiple specific times of the day.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, competitive intelligence was done first thing every morning manually by checking all our competitor websites to see if there were any price changes. However, with Visualping, this manual check only happens when Visualping has informed me of a change from a specific competitor. Additionally as mentioned before, Black Friday is an extrememly competitive time period with lots of price movements. Visualping allows us to be notified of the competitor changes while also giving us the time back to allow us to respond quickly and effectively.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I use visualping to track certain websites and when they are updated. For example, in one case I was following the lectures that were posted on the website of a certain professor. I set a daily check on the webpage to check if new content is posted. Visual ping made it very easy by allowing options to check by either visual difference i.e. checking if a part of a page has changed visually or even by html/text. Additionally, I can set a frequency of when the changes are detected, which is very nice. Since, in some cases the changes may not be daily and I dont need to spend requests on visual ping for the same.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Visualping has been very useful so far. One of the downsides is that every month in the free tier you get a limited number of requests - which is expected in the free tier. But it can be limiting if I want to tracking too many things.

It helps me keep tabs on different web pages and additionally keep tabs on different players.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

What I liked most about Visualping was the possibility of customizing monitoring according to my needs. For example, I used the website to check if a product I wanted to buy was available in an online store. I selected only the part of the page that showed the product's stock and set it to receive an email alert as soon as there was a change. It was very practical and efficient.<br><br>Another positive point of Visualping is the intuitive and user-friendly interface. The site is easy to navigate and has a pleasant design. The instructions are clear and the buttons are clearly visible. Additionally, the site offers a video tutorial that explains step by step how to use the service. I found it very useful and didactic.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Not everything is perfect in Visualping. One aspect that I think could be improved is the price. The site has a free plan that allows you to monitor up to two pages per day, but if you want more features or more frequency, you need to pay a monthly or annual subscription. I think the price is a little high for such a simple service and there are other cheaper or free options on the internet.<br><br>Another aspect that I didn't really like was the lack of support in Portuguese. The site is only available in English and Spanish, which may make it difficult for some users to understand. I wish there was a Portuguese version of the site or at least an automatic translation option. This would make the service more accessible and inclusive.<br><br>In conclusion, I think Visualping is a useful and easy-to-use site for monitoring changes to web pages, but it has some negative points that can be improved. I recommend the site to anyone who needs a simple and fast service, but is willing to pay for it and doesn't mind the language barrier.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I was looking for a tool that would allow me to receive updates when local institutional websites update their news section. They don't usually have rss feed or stuff like that so, after a quick search, i stumbled across Visualping. Having used it for several months, I can confidently endorse its effectiveness and ease of use: the ability to specify the frequency of monitoring checks, the definition of specific areas of the website to be monitored, the ability to define custom notification templates and the integration with email and other communication platforms are the key features that i loved and the reason why i keep using it. 

Overall, Visualping has proven to be a reliable and efficient website monitoring solution, effectively detecting and alerting almost in real time any change of the monitored website. Also, Its visual monitoring approach make it really user friendly and easy to use.

Visualping is the single most significant tool I use for keeping up to date for my self-run camera assistant business. Countless times, it has notified me at the perfect time about important changes to sites I monitor. It gives me a leg up over all my peers and competitors. I'm always the first to sign up for new events, as soon as they're posted. Monitoring industry websites and blogs is a breeze. I'm the biggest fan of Visualping and will be a loyal subscriber forever!

I only wish I had found it sooner. A+ all the way!

For the free version, I have to periodically login to the site to confirm I am still using it. Which given that I am a free user, is justified in ensuring that their system is not clogged up with queries that are not being utilised.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am monitoring activity by different government departments to ensure that I don't miss any regulatory changes. This was particularly pertinent during COVID-19 when the Rwandan government adjusted the restrictions on travel to ensure our team was able to make well-informed decisions. More recently, it allows us to keep track of what government departments we are working with are publishing as news on their sites to ensure we do not miss any big events and to help ensure we can keep track of their priorities.
