"Great for Monitoring Competitor Site Updates – Reliable, Easy, and Well-Supported"
What do you like best about Visualping?

We use Visualping to track changes on competitor websites so we can stay ahead of the events and campaigns they’re running. It’s been incredibly reliable, with accurate alerts and a clean, easy-to-use UI. The email and Slack notifications work well, and we’re now planning to build automations in Coda thanks to the strong integration options.

Support has been responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions, and the pricing feels very reasonable for the capabilities offered. After assessing other tools in the space, Visualping was the only one that met all our needs – the most comprehensive functionality by far. Highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

There isn’t much to dislike. It does what it promises and performs well. The only thing to note is that it takes a bit of tweaking and a small learning curve to tailor alerts perfectly to your use case—but that’s expected with a tool this flexible. Overall, it’s a solid platform and well worth the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

"Efficient Website Monitoring with Strong UI"
What do you like best about Visualping?

I like how accurate Visualping is. I've used a couple of other visual change alert tools, and none of them worked as well as Visualping. I appreciate that I can do mobile views, and there are advanced settings which allow me to be a little bit more focused. For example, I can focus on a particular area of a webpage and not the whole webpage, thus reducing false positives. The user interface was really simple and to the point. It was quick and easy to set up by just putting in your URL, targeting the areas you want to monitor, setting up the frequency of monitoring, and configuring your notification settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I did notice that there was a bug when you set up a new job and you go to select mobile view. Sometimes you have to play around with the drag to focus area quite a bit in order for it to actually stay on the area that you wanna focus on. But with a couple of minutes of moving things around, you can make it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback!

We're thrilled to hear that Visualping's accuracy and focused monitoring features are helping you effectively maintain your clients' websites.

We also wanted to share that we're actively working to improve the mobile setup experience

Thanks again for choosing Visualping!

"Effortless Setup, Keeps Me Ahead of Competition"
What do you like best about Visualping?

I love how incredibly easy it is to set up Visualping. The user-friendliness stands out where I just need to input the URL of my competition's marketing page, and it's almost completely set up for me. I really appreciate receiving notifications from day one, which keeps me immediately informed about changes. The initial setup process was very straightforward, thanks to the incredibly well-thought-out guided tour that helped me get started quickly and effectively. Adding the URL proved to be an easy access point, and this ease translated into getting to the value early in my use of the product. Overall, the entire experience has been smooth, aligning perfectly with my needs by allowing me to stay aligned with industry changes without falling behind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

"Simple and Reliable Tool for Monitoring Website Changes"
What do you like best about Visualping?

Visualping is straightforward to use and doesn't demand any technical expertise. I appreciate how quickly I can set up alerts for changes on any webpage. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I always receive notifications promptly whenever a change occurs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

Sometimes, there may be false notifications if a page layout changes slightly, even when the main content remains the same. However, you can adjust the areas where the tool checks multiple times until those false notifications no longer appear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Hi Saaed,

Thanks for the review. We're glad the setup and alerts are working well!

On false notifications: try adding a prompt for the Visualping AI and tell it what exactly you're looking for on that page, and you can also turn on the filter to 'only' receive alerts on these important changes.

Great use cases on government portals, product availability, and price tracking!

Thanks again,

"Effective Competitor Monitoring with Easy Setup"
What do you like best about Visualping?

I love that Visualping allows me to reduce noise by setting specific criteria for alerts. This feature ensures that I am notified only about the most significant changes, such as leadership transitions, new product launches, or pricing strategies from competitors that could impact my market share. This targeted alert system is crucial for staying informed without being overwhelmed by unnecessary notifications. Additionally, the initial setup of Visualping was incredibly straightforward, and I find its user interface to be very intuitive, making the software easy to use. This ease of use, combined with the ability to customize alerts, makes Visualping an invaluable tool for monitoring my competitors effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

"Streamlines Web Monitoring with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Visualping?

I find Visualping incredibly valuable for automating website change monitoring, which saves me the hassle of manual checks every day. The service helps me stay informed about important changes, like terms and conditions or updates on program pages, which would otherwise be a tedious task. I appreciate how easy and quick the setup was, as I could do it all online without complications. Visualping consistently provides reliable service, which is why I chose it over other options, even though I considered several. The automatic alerts and the auto red line feature are especially useful for my day-to-day tasks, enabling me to quickly identify and address changes without delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I am frustrated by the frequent false alarms that Visualping triggers. These are often caused by insignificant changes, such as cookie banners or other non-substantive banners on websites, which are not meaningful updates to the terms and conditions I'm monitoring. This results in unnecessary alerts that disrupt my workflow and can be quite annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the thoughtful review and for choosing Visualping for policy and program-page monitoring. We’re glad the quick setup, reliable alerts, and red-line diffs are helping you stay on top of changes.

If you haven't already, please try our AI features to filter for important alerts only. This will help filter out false alerts and reduce disruptions to your workflow.

Don't hesitate to reach out to support if you have some particularly difficult URLs.

Thanks again!

"AI Monitoring Enhances, But Challenges Persist"
What do you like best about Visualping?

I appreciate how easy Visualping is to set up, especially since it allowed us to upload links in bulk and apply monitoring without needing to set each link individually. This simplicity was crucial for our nontechnical team and made the tool stand out against other vendors. I love the AI capabilities within Visualping, specifically for monitoring websites and providing summaries of changes, which is incredibly useful for our needs to stay aligned with regulatory requirements. The feature is particularly valuable as it helps clarify complex updates from various regulatory pages like FDA, WHO, and Codex. Overall, Visualping's ability to monitor real-time changes smoothly demonstrates its efficient performance and contributes to its consideration for future use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I find that Visualping sometimes flags too many changes, making it difficult to differentiate important updates from noise. The monitoring page often has issues with loading due to blocking bot activity or failures, which complicates the tracking process. The product struggles with websites that fail to load, and I believe I should not be charged if the website shows a loading sign." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback! If you're seeing failures, please do not hesitate to reach out to support; we'd be glad to do whatever we can to help navigate any tricky jobs.

If you're getting too many changes, try using the filter to only receive 'Important Alerts' based on your AI prompts or important definition.

Thank you for using Visualping!

"Visualping Makes Monitoring Effortless"
What do you like best about Visualping?

hat really stands out is how simple it is to adjust the monitoring frequency to fit my needs. Whether I want to check a page every few hours for time-sensitive updates or scale it back to once a week for less urgent changes, the flexibility is right at my fingertips. The interface makes tweaking these settings quick and intuitive, so I can set it and forget it—confident that I’ll be notified exactly when I want to be. Visualping takes the hassle out of manual checking and makes staying on top of changes effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

One thing I’ve noticed is that it sometimes flags changes that aren’t actually relevant—like minor layout shifts, formatting tweaks, or ads refreshing on the page. These alerts can feel a bit noisy when what I really want is to be notified about meaningful content updates. It’s not a dealbreaker, since the service is still incredibly useful, but it does mean I sometimes have to filter through alerts that don’t matter. A little more precision in what counts as a “change” would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Hello!

Thanks for the thoughtful review. Glad the flexible scheduling fits your workflow.

For noisy alerts, please try our new AI features.

You can tell Visualping which alerts are 'important' and turn on the filter that will only send you Important Alerts, keeping the noise out of your inbox.

Please let us know if you need help finding those features! You can also learn more at visualping.io/ai

"Great tool for monitoring websites to simplify maintenance and QA"
What do you like best about Visualping?

As a web development manager overseeing more than 100 websites, Visualping has become an essential part of our maintenance workflow. We use it every time we update plugins on our Wordpress websites. It simplifies front-end monitoring which helps us quickly detect and address issues across our microsites, saving time and reducing the risk of errors. Setup is simple, and the email alerts have been quite helpful to stay on top of problems.

Visualping is a must-have tool for us, the bulk import feature was a huge time-saver when setting up the initial 500 jobs to monitor our websites.

The interface is quite intuitive and easy to understand and navigate.

It integrated great into our existing tools and systems, especially with our WordPress websites. The ability to use a static IP was also super helpful, since it let us exclude Visualping traffic from GA4 and keep our analytics unaffected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

We've identified some limitations when running tests in bulk (especially after plugin updates) as it can place a big load on our server. Since we host all our microsites on a single server, running multiple jobs simultaneously can max out resources and cause downtime. The current workaround involves manually batching jobs using labels, which requires extra effort. While the support team has been responsive and even helped us add delays between conflicting jobs, I’d love to see a built in feature that allows for automatic intervals or delays between batches. This would make monitoring much more simple.

We've also noticed that we get notified for insignificant changes, even though the majority of jobs are set up to send an alert if 10% of the webpages has changes, in some cases, it looks like the screenshots it compares are from different devices, for example the last check may use a screenshot from a slightly smaller screen that the next one which then triggers an alert even though nothing changed on the site.

It would also be helpful if it could detect errors on iframe or video integrations, as those are not loaded on the screenshots and cannot be compared, so we're not able to monitor issues with videos or iframes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the thoughtful review and for trusting Visualping across your WordPress fleet. Glad bulk import, static IP, and email alerts are helping your team ship plugin updates with confidence.

For insignificant changes, or false positives, try adding a prompt to the Visualping AI in your job settings that tells it what qualifies as an 'important' alert on each page, and consider trying the 'only important' filter for alerts. Learn more about this at visualping.io/ai.

If you have any questions, of course, don't hestiate to keep in touch with our Support team!

"Good Beta AI product, but needs revision on false positives"
What do you like best about Visualping?

The ease of use is very nice. I don't have to be an IT professional to know how to use it. Implementation was easy and I was even able to import a lot of what I wanted to track with a spreadsheet. I'm using it every day so it does provide me with some value to find leads. I think the customer support is ok, but I think their hands are tied on false positives. I am on the business plan which is all I can afford and they do offer more machine learning at a higher tier but that is out of my reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visualping?

I was almost at the point of cancelling before they added their new Beta AI tool because I was getting so many false positives. Worked with support to drill down the problem but the new Beta AI tool ended up clearing up about 60% of the false positives. While I'm still getting a fair amount of bad notifications for something I didn't want to be notified about, I'd say I'm only wasting about 20% of my time when I use the product. It's certainly better than nothing. I'm always tagging my false positives with "Irrelivant Information" or "Error" so VisualPing should be able to see my hundreds of reports and refine the product, but I do spend a lot of time going through every notification and reporting back to VisualPing. I hope they are spending equal time trying to make the Beta product better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Eric Do Couto of Visualping

Thanks for the feedback and the review. I can assure you that we're constantly testing and iterating on the new AI features, specifically to make Visualping the best possible lead intelligence and website alert platform available. Please keep sharing those reports; we see them, and they help us refine the system.

Thanks again,

The Visualping Team
