"Effortless File Sharing and Collaboration with Seamless Desktop Integration"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

Dropbox is our go-to for cloud storage and document sharing because it is truly effortless. The product enables us to collaborate on documents internally and share files externally. When we share externally, people can still access files through dropbox.com without needing an account or an app. I also appreciate the desktop version Dropbox because it integrates seamlessly into my drives that are already stored on my device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

The only issue I've ever encountered with Dropbox is related to storage settings. It can be challenge to determine which folders or files are stored locally and taking up too much space on your drive. However, once located, it's easy to switch to online only and free up space. "Seamless File Sharing with Expiring Links"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

I use Dropbox to share and save files, which solves the problem of not having to attach files to emails and worrying about email attachment limits. I can easily update and store documents, making it simple to access and share them with a link. I like that it's compatible with macOS, effectively integrating with my file management system. I find the ability to expire links, letting me choose when to expire folder links, very valuable since it allows me to give limited access. I enjoy that I can access Dropbox from anywhere as long as I have an account, and its usability is pretty seamless. It's also really easy to pick up, especially if many others are already using it. "Best Cloud Storage Available"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

Dropbox allows me to save hard drive space and take my documents on the go, so I can access all my files from any computer or phone. It also automatically backs up photos from my phone and lets me scan and upload documents in one shot. I also love that documents shared with me via Dropbox can be saved directly to my account. On top of that, Dropbox makes it easy to share files and folders safely and securely with others, and to withdraw access at any time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

Dropbox doesn’t have any negative points that I can think of. I was one of the original users of Dropbox back in the late 2000s, so I’ve been using it for almost 15 years without any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No Cloud Storage Can Compete"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

I've been using Dropbox for many years. One of the things that I like the best about Dropbox is it evolves. It's not simply a place to store your files and be able to access those files on any device. It's also a password manager. It also backs up your photos. It has a PDF viewer. There's so many different applications incorporated into it. There's truly no other app that I'm aware of that offers the same services as Dropbox and the price is not bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

I can't really say that there's anything that I dislike about Dropbox. If there is anything that I could think about it would be that it's a rather large software offering many different things. Sometimes it can be a little daunting because there's a lot to the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Cloud Storage for Easy File Sharing and Collaboration"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

Dropbox is very easy to use and makes file storage and sharing simple. The interface is clean and intuitive, so uploading, organizing, and accessing files from any device is quick. I especially like the seamless synchronization across devices and the ability to share files or folders with teammates using secure links. It also integrates well with other tools, making collaboration smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

One downside is that the free storage is limited compared to some other cloud storage platforms. Sometimes large file uploads can take longer depending on internet speed, and the pricing for higher storage plans may feel slightly expensive for individual users. More storage in the free tier would make the service even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless File Sync and Simple Sharing Across Devices"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

What I like most about Dropbox is how easy it is to keep my files in one place. I don't need to think too much. I just drop the file inside the folder, and it syncs on its own. It works the same on my laptop and phone, so I can open my stuff anywhere without worrying about where I saved it. I also like that sharing files with someone is very simple. I can just send a link instead of attaching big files over email. It feels smoother and doesn't get in the way of my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

One thing I don't like is that the free space gets full pretty fast. I have to keep deleting old files to make room. Sometimes the sync takes a moment, especially when my internet is slow, so changes don't show instantly on my other device. The app is easy, but the settings can feel a bit hidden at times. It works fine once you understand it, but the first few times I wasn't sure where certain options were. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable File Sharing and Syncing, but Pricing Needs More Flexible Mid-Tier Plans"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

We’ve been using Dropbox for file storage and team collaboration, and it’s been extremely reliable. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to share files with both internal team members and external partners, without any complications.

Syncing is smooth across all devices, and I rarely run into versioning issues. It’s especially helpful when multiple people are working on the same document at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

The pricing can feel a bit high, especially for a small team or an individual user. Once you start needing more storage, the jump between plans is pretty noticeable. It would be great to have more flexible mid-tier options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless simplicity in cloud storage"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

The best part about Dropbox, I think, is that it has smart sync. You can just select a folder, and it automatically syncs your files and stores them in the cloud. After that, I can access it from anywhere. The Dropbox dashboard is also very good. It has some AI features inside, which I find quite nice. Another feature that is a big advantage for me is the file rewind system, which allows me to bring back an old version. Additionally, Dropbox has the facility to provide frame-by-frame feedback in video projects, which I find very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

More AI features should be added inside Dropbox. It is also quite expensive, meaning it is much more expensive compared to Google Drive and OneDrive. Google Drive provides up to 15 GB of space for free, but Dropbox only gives 2 GB of space in the free version. I also feel there is some privacy issue compared to others, because it does not have any zero-knowledge encryption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Reliable Sync and Stress-Free Collaboration Across Devices"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

What I like most about Dropbox is its simplicity and reliability. Files automatically sync across devices, and without extra effort, the latest version is always available. The interface is also quite clean and easy-to-use, even for non-technical users.

Dropbox is especially useful for file sharing and collaboration. Large files are easily shared using links, and the version history feature is quite helpful when you need to recover an older version of a file. The sync speed remains overall consistent and dependable, which adds to the trust factor.

Another big plus is its cross-platform support. Whether I’m using a laptop, mobile, or a web browser, access remains smooth and everything stays in sync. Overall, Dropbox genuinely makes file management and collaboration easy and stress-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

One thing I dislike about Dropbox is its pricing. As storage needs grow, plans can become expensive compared to some other cloud storage options. For individual users or small teams, this can feel a bit restrictive.

Another area is storage space on lower-tier plans, which fills up quickly. If you regularly share large files, space management can be a bit challenging.

Occasionally, sync issues can occur, especially when working with very large folders or unstable internet connections. While it doesn’t happen often, when it does, troubleshooting can take some time.

That said, these are relatively minor drawbacks, and overall Dropbox still provides a very reliable and user-friendly experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless File Sharing and Integration"
What do you like best about Dropbox?

I like the request file sharing feature where people can simply upload content using a link. I also like that Dropbox connects to other platforms and gets added into my Mac Finder. I can request content from those with no Dropbox account, allowing me to accumulate content. It's great that it integrates with basic marketing platforms but more importantly, it integrates with a third-party reporting platform that provides a shareable link of Salesforce reports. The setup for my account was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dropbox?

When it comes to the business account, I still get confused why some folders are under my name and some folders are living outside. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
