## Trivia Reviews
  ### 1. Great experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Our company started using Trivia not too long ago and so far, I think it’s a hit. Oftentimes after the games are done, a lot of employees are asking for another game to play. I know a lot of employees have been able to connect on random topics that come up in either the water cooler questions or in the games.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

There’s been a lot of times when playing the Emoji game that the emoji combination is just so easy. Another thing, maybe the admins can see this but when a game is done, it only shows the top three on the podium. I would like for there to be a drop down to see where everyone who played was placed.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I said in the thing that I like about this tool is that helps a lot to connect all Employees in these games.

Of coruse, this benefits us since we get to share more moments and to know each other

  ### 2. Employee engagement: Trivia

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia has been a great app to connect our teams together. We automate weekly water coolers that allow our entire organization to get to know each other more with the great questions that it spits out. We also automate weekly games in a game channel for our employees to take a quick break. I LOVE the custom quizzes that we are allowed to make (available on the Pro plan).

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

We were sold on the idea of the Celebrations that Trivia offered. It was not what we were expecting as an admin cannot take control of it. However, they are working on making it better with customizations that would work for us, so I’m excited for that to get released.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee engagement and team building via getting to know team mates who we normally wouldn't interact with. Events are concise and don't take up much time, allowing meaningful connections that don't hinder productivity or inturrupt.

  ### 3. "Set it and Forget it!"

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriella A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Overall, I’m glad I decided to go with Trivia. It’s easy enough that I can set it and forget it because of the automation. The Trivia support is also very helpful. My IT manager and I can talk to them through Slack and we usually get a fast response time (there’s a time difference but that’s fine with us). We haven’t tried all Virtual Coffee yet, but that’s in our end of the year plans to use.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Dislike - It lacks customization I had wanted, like in the celebrations and water cooler questions. I would also like to see the ability to automate certain games, not just “surprise me”. We also had an issue that only quizzes were being selected when the “surprise me” was selected, but like I mentioned above, I reached out to Trivia support and they were able to fix it.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working on their "celebrations" part of the app. What they have told us they are fixing and adding are extactly what we want to see and use. I'll be excited when it's complete and we can customize the celebrations.

  ### 4. Great fun!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tammie F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia has really changed the way we can have fun with people we don’t usually work with. Our company is 100% remote, so we can’t have that face-to-face banter. The water cooler questions that are asked every Friday are a great remote replacement for that banter. I also like the Know Your Team quiz because you get to learn more about others.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

We have a designated channel for the Trivia games and the notifications can get to be too much. If I’m having a busy day and I don’t have time to participate, I usually have to mute the channel because it can be distracting.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our teams can connect in ways that they might not have been able to without trivia.

  ### 5. Great tool to bring remote employees together for some fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I enjoy the ease of use, and how it brings employees together with little demand on their time. There is something for everyone. It has started some fun conversations in our slack channel, brought together people from departments that don't usually interact with one another, and brought out a wholesome, competitive streak among employees. The games are short, so perfect for small breathers without inturrupting the workday. It is also highly adaptable, letting us create our own games that have meaning to our company. It is easy to use with little learning curve. All around recommended!

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I think as the app matures it will have more functionality, but it would be nice if it included a little more customization when announcing things like work anniversaries.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets employees engage with eachother more in our fully remote environment, paticularly those who work in different departments that would not typically interact with eachother. It has encouraged more conversations between those who share common interests, and even brought out competitive streaks in each other (in a positive way)!

  ### 6. Easy & Fun Employee Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin N. | People Operations Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

We have Trivia games scheduled to launch at different times throughout the day on MWF. We created a specific "Arcade" slack channel that notifies everyone that a game is starting. Anyone who is available and wants to join can hop in and play! It's fun to give employees across the company the opportunity to compete against each other. The games vary every time which keeps things interesting. I love that the games are automated so HR can set and forget and keeps the engagement up.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

There are a lot of games that Trivia bot provides, and some are definitely better than others. Occasionally there will be an incorrect answer that is marked as correct in the game and this annoys some people.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted something fun to offer our employees that was low cost and didn't require a lot of effort from the HR team and this fits the needs. It's wonderful to have the games automated so that HR doesn't have to remember to launch them to keep the employees engaged.

  ### 7. Invaluable team builder

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan M. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

The games are great, and feel very native to slack. The variety of games is also fantastic. As a result the team has fully embraced Trivia.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Trivia's customer communication is very poor. They change pricing structures with very little notice. It is not a service to be relied upon.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went remote in the pandemic, and it was hard to keep morale up. Trivia solves that with ease, and gives people a chance to connect and let their hair down, if only for 15-30 minutes.

  ### 8. Such a great way to unify your team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia is so much fun! Being a remote organization, we miss the casual coffee breaks, talking about what's new with one another - or just popping over to a colleagues office to chat quickly. With Trivia, we can play games, try to outscore each other, learn new facts about one another and have so much fun doing it! It’s way better than me trying to rack my brain to find new games, ice breakers or creating PowerPoint presentations for engagement. Trivia is even automated - so you can pre-schedule the fun, sit back, and watch everyone engage with each other!

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

None that I can think of. We are enjoying every aspect of it!

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trivia is solving our problem of not knowing eachother outside of our fundraising and spreadsheets. Learning facts about eachother and uncovering those personalities outside of the day to day has been invalueable.

  ### 9. An interesting way to enjoy mini-breaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shristi S. | Human Resource Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia helped me build a community of trivia lovers, who look forward to our trivia time every day. The questions are fun, there are a ton of options to choose from and it is simple.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

The persistent notifications and threads can be a bit annoying at times, especially as we have to scroll all the way to see it. The answers can be compressed into a single text rather an a single thread each time.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trivia helps the teams be engaged and initiates a conversation, it also brings together an active community. Especially with the scheduled timings and topic, and the integration with Slack.

  ### 10. Take breaks without actually taking breaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reuben G. | Talent Advocate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia has been a great catalyst at work increasing our engagement rates skyward by over 60%. The best part is that we don't actually have to take breaks to stay engaged; Trivia has a lot of fun games and water coolers to help you feel at ease while working.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

It would be great if additional team games get added.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a struggle to get people together as an engagement advocate and that's exactly what Trivia solves for. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection, an eager audience will already be waiting.

  ### 11. Diversity, Engagement, Wellness (DEW)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Md. Mizanur R. | Faculty, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I tried Trivia (until free version got locked) and found it as a platform to bring diversity in teaching and learning. Its a good way to engage students in classes (online-offline) and keep them free from classwork pressure for a while.

Quiz and games (anyway, got locked before using in large platform).

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Free/ Basic version should be included for the user from developing countries.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Preparing students for kind race and pace when they will be in the job market.

  ### 12. Happy Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tori A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Our team loves Trivia on Slack! We have the system set to automatically pop up a little game or a water cooler question at 11am 3 days a week. It's less than 5 minutes but gives the team a chance to take a little stress break and get to know their coworkers. We've gotten great feedback from the team.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Nothing, the system has been easy to use and I haven't had any complaints.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A stress break for our employees.

  ### 13. Absolutely love Trivia!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandler F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I love that trivia gives our company the ability to team bond and learn more about one another! Highly recommend 👌

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I would like to see more options for categories in the trivia section! Overall it's a great start!

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing my team to connect via work from home! It's hard in today's world going from in office work to work from home! We are able to still collaborate using trivia!

  ### 14. Great app to socialize with your team and have some fun banter!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eva A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I like that it has a bunch of options to choose from - such as trivia, pictionary, hangman, virtual coffee, celebrations etc.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Maybe add more scheduling options like every 15 minutes. Right now the schedule options have 30 min gaps.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated sending games and prompts, calculates scores etc.

  ### 15. Fun experience, too many alerts

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Philanthropy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

It was fun to play and had interesting questions. My team and I would play occasionally, which was a nice team bonding experience.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

The questions were a bit easy to answer and it sent alerts far too often to my Teams account. I wish I could initate a game instead of having it pop up all the time.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes meetings get boring or there is downtime in the day so playing trivia is a nice way to engage with the team.

  ### 16. Fun

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

1. That I can automate the game release and let trivia to randomly pick a game for me.
2. I appreciate that trivia games were designed to be work friendly.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

It will automatically choose a person to release a game as if the person was doing it. I had to learn how to deactivate this function after several coworkers inform that they were not setting up the games.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use trivia once a week just to add some fun. Sometimes no one will play the game, because every is busy. Not sure that trivia is helping to fix a problem at the moment. It is mostly used to add extra fun once a week.

  ### 17. Great for team building

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

No dislikes at the moment. Everything has been working well.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team disengagement

  ### 19. Easy asynchronous virtual team engagement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia has been the easiest solution to asynchronous virtual team engagement. Our Virtual Water Cooler is always buzzing, better than any icebreaker game!

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

There is customization lacking in the Watercooler game - we've had some repeats and some questions we knew wouldn't work well with our team.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trivia is a more natural way to engage team members on chat.

  ### 20. Fun and Interactive for the Team!

  ### 21. Great tool for employee bonding with lots of opportunity for improvements.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess L. | Chief of Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Our team loves trivia and Trivia makes it easy to play games with one another on a scheduled day/time. There are a decent number of categories, so you can find questions that fit most people's interests. The team has been quick to help us resolve any technical issues we've had along the way.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Some of the questions in Trivia are poorly written (confusing, poor grammar, clearly written years ago and no longer accurate, etc.) and they could definitely add more categories.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is important to keep employees connected in a remote workplace, and Trivia helps us do that. Participating is optional, but those of us who opt-in are able to play games with one another and get paired for 1:1 convos.

  ### 22. Great set of quizzes!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

It is easy to get started. Also when initiating a quiz it is quick to select and begin the quiz

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

The integration with Teams seems a little clunky and not very neat.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is healthy to take breaks and let the mind wander. Improved productivity. Interaction with the team helps with internal understanding and camaraderie.

  ### 23. Great team engagement!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

We love the opportunity to connect with our team and take a break from our day-to-day tasks together.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Wish we could start another game without having to create a new link to share, but it could be that we just don't understand how to within the platform.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connection. Eliminating silos within our teams.

  ### 24. Great & fun engagement for Slack teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kasey L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Love the app! Easy to configure, and it adds a great deal of fun & friendly banter to our small team of 13 people. We have scheduled Trivia quizzes on Thursdays, and people just start random ones whenever they want. When they released Hangman, our team fell in love - we played almost every day. I also love that they released games that are optimized for remote teams where people can play at their own time and still compete - that's very smart.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I can't customize some things - for example, I'd like to customize the timing of when the birthday announcements come, or schedule the "know your team" quiz at the time of my liking.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

team engagement, team participation, adding fun moments to the team, remote team

  ### 25. Great way to check in daily with your team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

My team loves the games, and gets super competitive when we play Charades, thats their favorite.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I wish you could control more features like the quizzes some of the topics are too general, also would love categories broken down for other games like Charades or emoji rebus.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it a nice way to reward the team when its slow and also keep them engaged in work, since they work from home, sometimes stuff around them distracts them if it's slow.

  ### 26. This has made our general HR interaction activities and fun

**Reviewed by:** Debangsu B. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

It brings people together and helps cultivate a sense of belonging with the team. It also gives people a chance to take a small mental break admist a busy and long day!

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

There is nothing that we dislike. We could get more games in and maybe also help us design a few games ourselves. Not a dislike though

It helps us bring into the team a sense of belonging and camaraderie. This is essential, especially when the emplyoyees are working remotely.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

They could offer more promotions inside or in the subscription

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The opportunity to create personal quizzes

  ### 29. A great engagement tool for remote companies!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Savannah C. | Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Our team moved to 100% remote work during COVID and Trivia helped enhance engagement within the company! Most games are very intuitive and can also be automated. I love that several games can have a winner - so our team can send a prize to the weekly / monthly winner.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I wish there were more topics for Instant Quizzes - our team would love to be able to choose from more options. Also, we would love to see Gotcha automated in the future.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping to increase engagement within a remote culture. Trivia is excellent for individuals with different personality types - extroverted and introverted. It has also helped us with cross-department communication and getting to know others outside your department.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

We enjoyed all of trivia. Nothing negative to say.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was allowing for people to connect virtually with one another and have some fun throughout the workday.

  ### 32. great way to connect!

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

On a slower day it is a great way to keep morale up and inspire a little healthy competition between colleagues

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I wish there were more categories to choose from.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

connection between peers after new management joined

  ### 33. Great, Fun App

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Being able to have an open ended trivia quiz is great! Love that the grading is done for you (as opposed to manual).

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Took a while to figure out how to do an open-ended/non-scheduled event

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting our primarily virtual workforce

  ### 34. Great for Team Building

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone W. | Office and Purchasing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I like how Trivia can be played on Slack, games can be automated and quiz categories can be adjusted. It's very easy to play and can is a conversation starter for the team.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

The quizzes are too short it would be great if there was an option to choose more questions for longer quizzes. Some of the quiz questions are a bit odd!

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trivia has been a great way to get to know team members and their interests - during the pandemic we have been working remotely. It's a good way to make you feel part of a team.

  ### 35. A great break from talking about work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica W. | Technical Documentation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

We used Trivia to entertain the crowd while everybody was waiting for our monthly All-Hands. We played 2 games in about 30 minutes before the "real meeting" started, and everybody had a great time. We awarded the winners with Bonusly points, another initiative for engagement that we have adopted.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

I can't really say there's anything we didn't like about Trivia. Maybe that the trying period is so short and now we'd have to pay for the service to continue enjoying the Slack plugin.

**Recommendations to others considering Trivia:**

Read the descriptions of each different kind of game before you start it :)

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Found something interesting to do with our co-workers that actually drove engagement and conversation with the team.

  ### 36. Building Engagement with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Director of Admissions and Enrollment

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia takes the work out of creating community! It's easy to use and very intuative.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

There are a lot of things to learn and understand so it just takes time to learn about it. The pricing structure has been a challenge because if we're trying to increase engagement/involvement charing by the person is a bit counter intuitative.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increasing engagement. The Trivia app has made it much easier to connect with our community. Also, it has made it much less manual for those of us leading team building and engagement.

  ### 37. A breath of fresh air during breaks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonia S. | Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I love the fact that we can just play a game to wind down through the day while still being engaged with my coworkers.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

There are a few limitations to the app, luckily we can always send some feedback about said limitations to the staff who is eager to listen.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brought our HR department and the IT department closer together. Before we were all interacting in our inner circles, but thanks to Trivia, and Virtual Coffee especially, we got to all understand eachother a litte better.

  ### 38. Love the Trivia!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It creates team building, competition and commendatory.

Engagement. My team loves the competition and that it is quick and easy to participate in.

  ### 39. Meaningful Engagement on Auto-Pilot mode.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amitha K. | Human Resource Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

It is user-friendly, facilitates cross-functional engagements, and helps break silos. The best part is, as HR, I am able to immediately measure the success of this product and see that employees are engaging, having fun, and getting to know their colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Nothing as of now. Can't wait to see what new features Springworks build next.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross-team collaboration and breaking silos is the biggest highlight. It is relevant and loved by the global team. Some of my teams have created a ritual of playing a quick game of trivia before they start their meeting. They are having fun at work on the go

  ### 40. Fun and engaging

Trivia is easy to set up and use. The wide variety of games available makes sure one never gets bored.
Absolutely love the new game modes which are great conversation starters.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Nothing as of now. The question bank seems to be updated frequently / is huge, we've never had the same questions twice.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trivia is great to know and get talking to people from other teams. One of the greatest benefits of Trivia is finding like-minded people; A cricket quiz was great to get all cricket fans together!

  ### 41. great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becca A. | System Operations Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

i needed support to help me and even though it was 10pm their time, they got my problem solved and got me up and running. thank you team!

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

the constant automated pings. I don't want ANY automated games. I only want 1 custom game/week but that doesn't seem like an option.

**Reviewed by:** Hari H. | Technical Program Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

I like how easy is it to use and initiate team-building activities right inside slack. This is our go-to tool in remote team-building activities. We also run this on autopilot every day and see a lot of engagement

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

None so far. Things work the way its supposed to be

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brings our team together during remote sessions. Perfect solution for quick fun-filled team bonding sessions

  ### 44. Virtual Fun

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Ease of installation and variety of questions.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

You cannot see if your selection was accepted and questions rotate too quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Trivia:**

Be sure to understand pricing terms before signing up.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hoping to get more engagement. So far, pretty slow uptake

  ### 45. Making WFH fun

**Reviewed by:** Deepan C. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Have to go outside slack for Pictionary.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeps employees connected while working from home.

  ### 46. Game Changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chanelle R. | S, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Since the start of Covid, my team has been working from home and it's been crucial to find creative ways to stay connected. Trivia has been a wonderful tool to do just that. It's truly been a game changer. My team is able to interact through various games that are offered, the platform is user friendly and the customer service is great! I couldn't be happier to have come across such an important social tool during these times. I highly recommend adding this app to your Slack Channels!

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Every now and then there are a few glitches. Sometimes scheduled games won't start or the game will randomly end. However, it doesn't happen often and the customer service team is easy to get in touch with a fix the problem!

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Social connections and interactions are now happening more often across all of our teams. It's been nice to casually connect with people that you usually wouldn't get a change to interact with.

  ### 47. Fun to play, great for building team chemistry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan V. | Development Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Different types of games, easy to use. Overall leaderbords trigger engagement throughout the company.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Pricing is a bit steep for a trivia app, but it looks like more and more features are added regularly.

**Recommendations to others considering Trivia:**

They have a full featured 30-day trial, give it a go but prepare for your users to be big fans and expect to continue the fun

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With everyone working from home, the spontaneous short breaks that happen in an office environment were mostly non existing. This app counters that.

  ### 48. A Great App for Virtual Team Building and Boosting Your Workplace Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Chief of People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Trivia is great for bringing a wide cross section of the company together for short, sharp virtual team building sessions on a regular basis.

We have Trivia Tuesday every week with 3 quizzes per day and a great feature is that the quizzes are on a schedule and run themselves automatically.

We have a wide range of people who participate in the quizzes and it's great to see different levels of employees from across the organisation interacting with each other in a fun way when they wouldn't normally get the chance.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Occasionally the questions don't make sense, or the answers are incorrect. This can actually create some fun discussion between team mates.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trivia enables us to:
Connect with and engage employees who might be feeling isolated.
Get people from different parts of the organisation interacting with each other.
Add fun to our working day that enhances
Promote positive mindsets and strengthen our workplace culture.
Build our reputation as a great place to work.

  ### 49. Surprisingly good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katy A. | Head of Digital Delivery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

Fast paced quizzes gets a wide range of people engaged - and they stay and talk to each other afterwards in Slack. I also love the custom gifs when a person wins, and it puts their face in the gif. The scheduler is easy to use and helpful. I installed it on a whim, but I can see it's got a lot of potential particularly in lockdown while it's hard to make connections.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

Other games are less good than quiz, eg. unpopular opinions is just a quick 'oh' moment, wordsearch it would be good if you could identify where you saw the word. Some of the quiz categories are oddly specific and I wouldn't use them. I also found it difficult to understand whether there was a basic mode until my free trial expired - sometimes it seemed to say there was, but also we had a free trial... for a basic mode?

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team interaction, boosting morale. People really enjoy the quiz and are interacting with each other more in Slack.

  ### 50. Fun but BEWARE of limitations

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica H. | QA Forum Moderator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Trivia?**

The trivia quizzes are fun. I like that you can compete with co-workers and see who can complete the quizzes the fastest.

**What do you dislike about Trivia?**

You CANNOT turn off notifications! There is no way to mute the app and no way to opt-out. Once you start using the app, you are doomed to receive notifications every time a new quiz is out and every time a co-worker finishes the quiz. The notifications are incredibly annoying when you are just trying to work. If I had known this ahead of time, I never would have started using the app.

**What problems is Trivia solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This was supposed to be a fun way to interact with co-workers on Slack.
