What do you like best?

Ease of use, Intuitive UI, Speed of calculation, Efficiency, Scalability, Powerful processing, Mobile App. Incentives Plan set up and maintianence is very transparent and requires less effort on the go. The way inbuilt objects are designed makes the tool very efficient.

Admins with varied tech savviness , get grip of the product as the objects are laid out in a very structured manner, anyone can follow along and perform required activities. The Support is very proactive they reply at the earliest based on the Support level Purcahsed (I strongly recommend Premium Plus support as the turnaround time is very quick)

The ease of use and inbuilt features makes reduces the configuration turnaround time. The run time and inbuilt/integrated ETL layer Xactly Connect makes it one of the best ICM product ever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Ability to interact with the Third-party application, Xactly incent has connector for a few applications which is used in the Enterprise, but the interacting ability is limited sometime and one has to reply on integration via middleware. However, SFTP is a solution but it makes the process tedious as it involves validation steps.

Reporting Ability:- Xactly Incent inbuilt report and dashboards are more than enough for a standard commissions reporting , but the customization of such reports can be improved , also more reporting options can be added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If looking for a product which can be up and running very quickly Xactly Incent is the Go-To ICM Product. As the organization scales, plan configuration can be modified to meet the requirements, also if the data volume increases the processing time doesn't get affected at all, the processing is very fast and smooth. What do you like best?

With comp structure in our company, we like Xactly Incent a lot. The best part is easy to maintain and 100% accuracy along with flexibility guaranteed. Once the needs are properly identified, this is the tool you want to use.

This Xactly Incent tool for compensation is really great and nothing to dislike about it. There are always proper ways can be found to meet the expectations. That is why we have big heads for. What do you like best?

It has a nice interface and is easy to access. I think it is a good starting point but really lacks a lot of features that a Sales organization needs to have transparency with how a seller is paid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The dashboard does not update in real time and makes it difficult to understand where I stand in terms of quota attainment. It also shows a lot of info that isn't relevant and lacks info that would be. The dashboard is unstable and may be missing data that was previously there (i.e. October billings show on some days but not others). I never really know how much I am going to be paid as I cannot clearly tie my sales billings to my paycheck without 15+ clicks into different reports. It also does not let you export data easily. Ultimately, I am forced to use a spreadsheet to manage my business to ensure I am paid properly. There have been multiple instances were Payroll had to adjust my pay because Xactly reporting caused me to be paid incorrectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Incent streamlines the monthly compensation process. It does the heavy lifting for you and all you need to do is verify it is calculating correctly. It allows you to create new plans and test them to pay your Sales department however you would like. It also provides analytics so that you can evaluate your sales compensation metrics. These metrics can be helpful for both Sales and Finance when working on evaluating comp plans. Our company uses this data monthly to make sure we have effective comp plans. What do you dislike?

I think that Incent could be more user friendly. In order to set up a plan or make a change there are many items that need to be changed. If one of those items is not correct the whole plan wouldn't work. I wish you wouldn't have to be so technically inclined in order to run the tool. Also, In order to get assistance you have to contact their Support team which is slow to reply. The Support team also has zero knowledge of your Incent setup so their solutions aren't quick or helpful many times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

This product is good for streamlining your monthly sales compensation process. However, it has a high learning curve and the classes to learn how to use this product are very intrusive of your time. Most classes last 4 hours on back to back days, hard to carve out time for that. I have yet to see a recorded webinar that I could watch on my own time. This would be a nice addition. Giving our Sales team access to their sales numbers with a daily update. They can see the detail behind those sales and what they will get paid. This provides visibility for the Sales team that they enjoy. Reports can also be created to give the Sales team quick detail behind their numbers. It gives the Sales executives an avenue to look at analytics that Incent has provided. We use these reports every month to make sure the comp plans are creating the results we would expect. What do you like best?

We have been using Xactly Incent going on 6 years. I can always come up with a way to pay an employee, even when they have complex comp plans. I can't imagine not using a software to calculate commissions. We try to keep the process streamlined and the field can always see where they stand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are a lot of tabs/screens to complete an employee setup. Analytics can be temperamental in its reporting. It takes some getting used to know what works with what and a lot of practice at setting up reports to get what you want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Xactly Incent helps us pay over 400 employees accurately each month. We pay out in over a dozen currencies around the world. Employees can log in from anywhere (even from their phones) and see what their commissions are. We can get reports on quotas, attainment, hire dates and many, many other objects. What do you like best?

For our organization, the support we've received from our Implementation Consultant has been incredible. When an obstacle arises, our consultant is always available to work through the challenge and find a solution. We are advocated for and our needs are always prioritized. I can't speak highly enough of the personal support we've been given, it's played a major role in the success of implementing Xactly Incent across our Sales Division. As an administrator, ease of use is another factor of Incent that makes my job easier compared to using competitor's applications. What do you dislike?

There are some areas on the ranking/reporting that I wish were a bit more customizable, as there seem to be some limitations on what information can be brought into the view. We are giving our Sales Team a living, breathing view of accurate sales performance. Reps/Managers are able to forecast their commission payment based on accurate sales data, and this allows for transparency across the board. What do you like best?

1) Incent goes a long way in terms of of the scope of customization it give you in terms of plan designs.

2) Members of our sales team have absolute transparency and insight into how much they've earned for the amount of admissions they secure every month. I head the Marketing and Sales team for a Medical College. So my team having this kind of transparency into their incentives / commissions adds to the morale and team spirit! It keeps them motivated - to say the least.

3) You have different measurement criteria that you can implement and calculate upon.

4) You can get a detailed breakdown of your past compensations.

5) Incent sports a user friendly interface with pretty straightforward designs and navigations. Oh, and I guess it is safe to say that the interface isn't too cluttered - however, this is just how I like things to be.

6) Whatever your industry, segment or span of operation, I can bet that you will find that Incent was tailor made for you.

7) Their customer support is exemplary! Quick and helpful responses.

8) Exporting data into a CSV report has never been easier.

9) Accuracy of calculations. It helps you import monthly sales data and then calculates payments seamlessly.

10) You can easily integrate Incent with SalesForce.

11) Manual errors are almost non existent.

12) This may be my last, but also my most important pro to using Incent. I found that after incorporating Incent, my team has never had a problem with attaining the targets that were set for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) If you are an administrator, you're going to have a hard time getting used to the functioning and getting trained. Really glad I'm not him!

The main reason we chose Xactly as our Sales Compensation Management solution was because of the versatility of the product. Between the user friendly UI to have in-house configuration of plans, Xactly Connect to seemlessly move data between our CRM and Xactly as well as the end user results using Analytics Dashboards, in system communication and out-of-the-box report detail Xactly Incent was truly the best solution for us. Recalculating prior periods is a breeze with PPA in Xactly where we would have to previously keep copious amounts of spreadsheets to have an audit of previous state vs. current state Xactly solves that for us. We were not always connected to our CRM, so the added capabilities of Xactly Connect make data transformation a much smoother process. What do you like best?

To order to understand composition better, I like a flat Layout / UI and the ability to mouse over the maps. With the aid of the data aggregation, reporting is simplified. What do you like best?

The statements show an easy to understand/customizable view of orders, credits, and commissions. It reduces the amount of effort sales reps need to put in to understanding their payments. The automation that was implemented to connect to SFDC saves us a lot of time and frustration in having to validate and upload order details. What do you dislike?

There are some areas where the tool's UI and design are not consistent. In one area, it looks one way, but in another area, it looks different, requiring you to pay attention to what you are doing so that you don't make a mistake or get confused. Some functionality requires work arounds to work the way we want it to. Luckily, it can handle what we need, but it takes more work to get the work around built. Learn as much as you can through webinars and Xactly training. There is a lot to the software that you need to experience to know its full capabilities. Network with other administrators as well and learn best practices. It will make setting up and using the software a lot less frustrating.

My team would not have been able to do the amount of work that we do without a tool that automated a large part of the processes. Xactly gave us a platform that allowed our audits and day to day processes to go a lot more smoothly. There was less searching for various documents, and more up front answers which allowed us to spend less time working with auditors and more time processing commissions. Visualizations are helpful to show performance percent to goal. Creating and exporting the reports are easy to do. Formatting when exporting the report remains intact. It is easy to use the Xactly reports in Excel and have the headers available to use in a pivot table. It is a good performance management tool when extracted to Excel to demonstrate the top performers and their percent to goal. There is also a feature to pull reports at certain times. What do you dislike?

Xactly only works well if you have standard plans that every sales representative is on. It is not compatible for unqiue plans or obscure hierarchies. If there are some commission plans that require unique tracking, Xactly won't be able to capture that data and the calculations for commissions would have to be performed outside of the system. The reports can't be extracted for multiple periods or consolidated periods, the user has to individually run each period and combine manually in Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I believe Xactly Incent is one of the top softwares for commission tracking, but I would advise looking at other softwares if you have unqiue plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
