Before using Chmeetings, my church was relying on Excel and Google Sheets. Chmeetings made it easy to keep all of our information in one place. It’s also simple to update member profiles and track attendance using the reports feature. I also like that, for bulk updates, I can just import the information after filling out the provided template. In addition, I can get birthday and anniversary reminders for members, and I can easily communicate using the text tool. There are also many new and exciting features being added now, such as the forms. I really appreciate this because it allows members to submit updates directly in a place where I can easily track them, and if there’s data that needs to be added to their profile, I can update it without having to enter everything manually, and I can also use this to have member register fornevents instead of having to use 3rd party tools. I think one of its standout features is its customizability; it allows us to tailor member profiles, ministry groups, and event workflows to perfectly fit the structure of our church. The communication tools are fantastic, enabling us to send emails, SMS messages, and push notifications directly from the system, keeping our congregation informed and connected without using multiple platforms. The check-in and attendance features are personal favorites, making it easy to track engagement accurately. The initial setup was very easy for us, and even when transitioning from a manual process, their Customer Service Team made the process smooth and stress-free. The integration with ChatGPT has been valuable for deeper data analysis and insights, and using PayPal for contributions simplifies processes for our members and guests. I like that members can update their details at their comfort, and the ability to check in as a family or individually. Being able to check in by scanning a QR code from their app is really handy. I also appreciate the notifications for events happening via the app, which help in time management and allow me to go through them comfortably at home without needing paper. I like how ChMeetings has really helped us a lot with reporting and consolidating information for our church administration. It's made things easier by updating everything for everyone when a change is made. The follow-up notifications are immediate, so I can track who hasn’t been followed up. The platform helps a lot, especially with the accounting functions, which are almost like a full accounting system. It's going to save us a lot of costs. The ability to have profiles for people is great for keeping track of everyone. Setting up ChMeetings was quite easy and user-friendly, and the support team is quick to help with any issues. I appreciate ChMeetings for its regular developments that constantly improve user experience and their openness to feedback. The custom app, despite its extra cost, makes communication with our church much more accessible. I particularly like that users can send notifications through the app, sparing us the cost of an SMS provider, as notifications go straight to users' phones just like an SMS would. Setting up ChMeetings was really easy, and I benefited from the opportunity to revise and simplify our membership list during the process. The tutorials are great, and using the product was not a steep learning curve for me. I also appreciate the capacity to link information submitted through registration forms to a person's profile, which simplifies our communication. The Service planner section could probably have more features to make Sunday planning a little smoother and faster. The other thing is there is no way of creating a personal signature so emails that go out don't have the potential professional look (unless you copy and paste a signature from another program). For this reason, we are still using our regular email platform for most communications - however, because all our updated contacts are on ChMeetings we often have to go into the app to make sure we have the best email for the recipient. I use ChMeetings to manage our church's membership database, improve safe handling of member information, and simplify attendance tracking. It links registration forms to profiles, aiding communication and service, while the custom app enhances event announcements. It's also great for rostering volunteers as it sends a notification straight to their phone with the option to accept or decline a volunteer opportunity.
