"Make the Switch!"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

What I like best about Human Interest is how easy and user-friendly the entire platform is. Everything is straightforward. From managing contributions to accessing account information, which makes the experience really simple for both employees and administrators.

I also really appreciate that Human Interest partners with a third party to help facilitate rollovers. It takes the stress and confusion out of the process and ensures everything is handled smoothly and correctly. That level of support makes a big difference and is one of the reasons I think the service stands out.

I’m a current customer of Human Interest, and I'm writing this review in exchange for a $25 gift card incentive, which creates a material conflict of interest as it creates a financial incentive to write a favorable review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

I don’t really have any significant dislikes about Human Interest. My experience has been positive overall and the platform is easy to use, the support is helpful, and the rollover process is streamlined with the third-party partner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Service That Supports My Financial Goals"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

I’m a current customer of Human Interest, and I'm writing this review in exchange for a $25 gift card incentive, which creates a material conflict of interest as it creates a financial incentive to write a favorable review.

Human Interested provides a very simple onboarding processes that enables us to quickly select, set and forget our 401k investments. The tools to adjust contribution to do it by % or $ is easy to use and switch up as needed, and they offer a wide variety of investment options based on my risk tolerance. They translate scenarios to actual financial tolerance investment profiles so you don't need to be super financial savy to move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

I’m a current customer of Human Interest, and I'm writing this review in exchange for a $25 gift card incentive, which creates a material conflict of interest as it creates a financial incentive to write a favorable review.

In my experience, Human Interest is a fairly straightforward platform. However, I feel it lacks options for personalization and the ability to select individual stocks. I also find that the portfolio does not offer complete transparency regarding which stocks, bonds, ETFs, and other assets our investments are allocated to. Because of this, I have to place a certain level of trust in the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Support and Seamless 401k Integration for Franchise Owners"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

As a new franchise owner in the home care industry, improving employee satisfaction and retention was one of my top priorities. After gathering feedback from both applicants and current employees, a clear trend emerged: they were looking for more employee-sponsored benefits, particularly 401(k) options.

I reached out to several providers and ultimately chose Human Interest for a few key reasons. From my very first conversation, their customer support was exceptional and has remained consistent throughout the process. The entire implementation was smooth—Human Interest seamlessly integrated with my payroll company and bookkeeper, which made everything more efficient. The platform itself is user-friendly, not only for me as the plan administrator but also for our employees.

Additionally, the flexibility and features offered are exactly what we needed, and the pricing is unbeatable. I’m confident this will have a positive impact on both employee retention and overall satisfaction, and I’m glad I chose Human Interest to help us build a strong benefits offering. "Effortless Setup and User-Friendly Experience"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

I love how Human Interest provides an easy way for employees to opt into the retirement plan, making the administrative tasks much easier for our small team that has limited bandwidth. I appreciate its simplicity and how user-friendly it is, ensuring that even those new to the platform can manage it effortlessly. I find it incredibly reassuring that I can easily connect with someone when needed, reflecting the responsive nature of Human Interest's support team. The initial setup was very easy, and although it took some time due to necessary approvals, the Human Interest team was very patient and consistently available to answer any questions immediately. This level of support and ease of use makes Human Interest a standout choice. Additionally, being our first retirement plan platform, its effective functionality without us needing to contact support demonstrates its robustness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Retirement Plan Setup and Seamless Onboarding"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

I like how easy it was to set up retirement plans for my employees. Onboarding forms are easily automated and all you need to do is click a button to send to new employees when they start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

In my personal investments, I like being able to specifically choose stocks. I don't like that it pre-selects specific investments, you just choose investment types and allocation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless 401k Management with an Intuitive Interface"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

I like how simple and easy the user interface is. I also like being able to quickly see my balance and growth in my 401k account. It’s nice to be able to easily adjust my contribution amount and see how much my employer contributes. I’m a current customer of Human Interest, and I'm writing this review in exchange for a $25 gift card incentive, which creates a material conflict of interest as it creates a financial incentive to write a favorable review. What do you dislike about Human Interest?

It would be nice if there were a mobile app to view and manage things from my phone more easily. Additionally, (this could be the plan I’m on) but it would be nice to have visibility and the ability to manage what my investments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless 401(k) Management with Intuitive Platform and Transparent Fees"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

Human Interest has made managing our company retirement plan straightforward and efficient. As an employer, I regularly use the platform to oversee our 401(k) for the team, and I find it very intuitive and easy to navigate. The automated payroll integrations save a considerable amount of time with each pay cycle, and both employees and administrators remain well-informed through clear dashboards and timely reminders. I also value the transparent fee structure and the dedicated support provided during onboarding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

Setting up the platform for our company took more time than we anticipated, and a few of the onboarding steps could have been explained more clearly. Additionally, I feel that the reporting features would benefit from greater customization, particularly for employers interested in analyzing contribution trends or exporting more detailed plan data. That said, after the initial setup was complete, the platform has been easy and smooth to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best way to get a 401(k) program up and running in an efficient way. Outstanding Platform"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

As a small start up, having the ability to offer a 401(k) plan to attract employees is vital. There were not many options in this space that made it so seamless and easy to not only set up, but manage the plan. Their UX/UI was carefully crafted and makes adding this benefit for employees not a drain on time and resources of management. They are very hands on when needed, providing updates and tasks required. The platform is simple to use and easy for employees to sign up, modify, and even rollover if they leave and decide to make a change. The support and team are top notch and have always followed up on anything that needed a deeper dive for an employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

I'm sitting here, trying to think of the downsides of using Human Interest or something I dislike. There is nothing I can think of other than maybe a branding name change. I do have to explain that Human Interest is the 401(k) plan, as most people are used to seeing Fidelity, Vanguard etc. The name comes across to some as a social cause or way to do charitable donations. "Easy Integration but Unexpected Costs"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

I find Human Interest to be simple to use, which is a significant advantage as it allows us to get all of our team members eligible for the 401(k) plan efficiently. The integration with Gusto is seamless, making the entire process hassle-free and straightforward. This ease of use is one of the standout features for me and my team. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, which was a relief and allowed us to transition smoothly without any complications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

I don't like that when I signed up for Human Interest, I was told it would be a zero-cost service forever, but now there is a cost involved. This change in pricing is disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless 401(k) Management with Seamless Integration and Transparent Pricing"
What do you like best about Human Interest?

Human Interest provides a user-friendly platform that is easy for both administrators and employees to navigate. Setting up plans, enrolling participants, and tracking contributions are all straightforward processes, and the dashboard is designed to keep information clear and well-organized. A major benefit is the automated administration—integrations with payroll systems such as Rippling, Gusto, and ADP greatly reduce manual tasks, as contributions, deductions, and compliance filings are synced automatically. The pricing structure is transparent, and the fees are lower than those of many traditional 401(k) providers, making it a cost-effective choice for small and mid-sized businesses. Employees have access to intuitive tools that let them manage their contributions, monitor investment performance, and access educational resources directly from the platform. Human Interest also stands out for its compliance support, taking care of responsibilities like 5500 filings and nondiscrimination testing, which would otherwise burden HR or Finance teams, thus saving time and reducing risk. Finally, the onboarding process is smooth and well-supported, with clear guidance throughout implementation to ensure everything is set up seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Human Interest?

One aspect where Human Interest could enhance its service is in customer support and post-implementation communication. Although response times from support are occasionally prompt, there are instances of delays, especially after the onboarding process when clients move from having a dedicated representative to general support. The platform is intentionally designed for ease of use, which works well for simple plans, but it may seem limiting for organizations with more complex requirements, such as custom eligibility rules, unique vesting schedules, or the need to manage multiple entities. Following implementation, the ongoing communication and relationship management can feel insufficient, leaving some users wishing for more consistent support as their company’s needs change.
