Not a dislike but more of a wish list:
- would like to have more standard reporting on activity within JazzHR related to open postings, closed postings, candidates, etc.
- would like weekly and quarterly summary reports of activity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use it every day all day, It's very functional, has a lot of options to customize emails and processes. It also posts jobs online and on LinkedIn. We also use it for different integrations, as well the implementation works amazing and its easy to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I use it to source from 2 different countries, it is challenging to filter the candidates by country. We have tried 2 different ways and a mixed filter is not an option. As well sometimes we struggle to get customer support for some actions that are not available or not visible, the support is very unresponsive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JazzHR is packed with helpful features and really does make recruiting a lot more intuitive. I appreciate that it is designed with several user groups in mind, it's easy to train my recruiters and hiring managers to utilize the software. The ability to customize communications and stages is also extremely helpful.
Overall it's an easy piece of software to use and it's got plenty of bells and whistles to make most hiring teams happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would say that if I had to pick out any one thing it would be the reporting features, overall reporting is a bit clunky, lackluster, and limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using JazzHR since 2012. It started as a Theresumator and we rebranded as JazzHR. Throughout the years, I have seen improvements to it's UI adn also its ability to manage, track and help recruiters like us to do our job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to be honest. Maybe if they added AI to help with writing outreach OR update the UI a bit to make it more modern it would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Bulk actions, intergration with sourcing platforms especially LinkedIn, email templates, collaboration function across teams, questionnaire function, interface/dashboardd Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- The new reporting function is not very user friendly. I always go back to the old function to get my data. I do see some great data insights from the new function but it will be great to explore more user friendliness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of use. We've used JazzHR for every open role. We track applicants, communicate in the system to all the applicants through JazzHR so all the steps are tracked in one place. So we know what's been communicated. Also being able to have notes for hiring managers, interviewers, really helps with following up or knowing whether to move forward or stop with a candidate. There really aren't any features I don't like about JazzHR. It's been very simple for all our team members to follow along. Even when we have candidates from recruiters, we plug them into the role and track progress through JazzHR. You can select who referred so it makes it easier to track who's with who. I love the workflows you can set up for easy replies, the ads that are placed you can check out if you need to update to get more applicants. We have create a questionnaire to send out to applicants to further qualify for the position. I am finding more and more features and great customer service support when needed. The intergration of the questionnaires and one click replies for ease of implementation and reduces the time to reply as I check for applicants a few times a day and it takes minutes instead of hours to reply. At first it took a bit of time to work through all the features and to find the features. My team used youtube videos to help with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JazzHR has helped us get our jobs out to different vendors and posted our jobs on our website. The site was also extremely easy to use and taught our managers how to utilize the program and navigate through different candidates. It also has helped us go through the candidate pool much quicker with the knock-out questions or the ability to ask specific questions to candidates needed for our search. JazzHR is great for a small to mid-sized business growing into the space they are in, it definitely helped us grow. The reporting is what we are struggling with at the moment because there is so much data in the program it is hard to pull the correct reporting numbers. But overall the reporting piece is what we are struggling with at the moment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I never really liked anything about JazzHR but my recruiting company made me use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They say they syndicate their ads to Indeed, which they do, but the ads often drop off the algorithm after a couple of days which leads to no one applying. If you A/B test posting an ad on Indeed directly and posting the same exact ad on JazzHr to syndicate to Indeed you will see that the direct posted indeed ad does statistically significantly better. Sometimes I'll get 70 applications on Indeed and 7 with the same ad on JazzHR in the same time frame.
They want 30 days notice to cancel your account and you have to contact them in the contact form it's not just a setting you can turn off.
Now let's talk about their cancellation policy. They have hidden the following cancellation policy in their terms and conditions: The Service Term identified in each Order Form will commence on the effective date of the Order Form. A termination request by either party will be given via certified mail or via e-mail to the customer Billing Contact or JazzHR’s customer success team. They want you to give them 30 days notice to cancel your account. My subscription renews on the 1st so I tried to cancel on the 1st but they had already charged me and refused to give me a refund. A 30-day cancellation policy is ridiculous for a SAAS company. I shouldn't have to use a contact form on the website to cancel my account it should be automatic under settings. Then customer service emails you back and tell you you need to reply to their email to confirm you want to cancel the account. Canceling with them took two days, one phone call, and two emails.
Their technology does not syndicate as well as they advertise it does which is the reason I'm closing my account. I am crazy disappointed with customer service at JazzHR and I'm also disappointed in the ad syndication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
