## Employee Navigator Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient HR Solution, Seamless Integrations with Some Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa B. | Controller, Chemicals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I appreciate that Employee Navigator keeps all of my employee files in one place, saving me from having to go through old paper files. It saves me time and reduces the need for double keying information, especially with the ability to integrate with other programs like our payroll company, ADP. This integration helps streamline processes and saves additional time by automatically updating certain data such as PTO and benefits packages.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Not all of the fields in Employee Navigator talk to ADP and vice versa. I feel like there should be a one for one conversation between the two programs, but it only ends up being a condensed version. I have to know what fields talk and which ones don’t, and others might run into issues when filling in my job. Employee Navigator's integration with QuickBooks feels cumbersome, and I’m concerned about the accuracy of my numbers. The setup might be difficult for someone who isn't tech-savvy.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator keeps all my employee files in one place, eliminating the need to dig out old paper files. It integrates with our payroll company, ADP, saving me time and preventing double keying of information.

  ### 2. Automated Carrier Updates That Save Time

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda E. | Senior Administrative Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The automated updates across all of my carriers save me a lot of time, especially compared with having to make the same changes separately on each individual website.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

The interface feels dated and isn't always intuitive — simple tasks like updating an employee's information or running a report can take more clicks than they should. The learning curve for initial setup is steep, and the reporting options are limited compared to what I'd expect from a benefits platform. Customer support response times can also be slow when you need help with something urgent. I'm also not a huge fan of the reports set up and options.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralizes our benefits administration so I'm not manually notifying each carrier every time there's an enrollment change, termination, or life event. For a small company without a dedicated HR department, it saves a ton of time during open enrollment and keeps our employee records and benefits elections in one place instead of scattered across spreadsheets and emails.

  ### 3. Efficient Benefits Management with Streamlined ADP Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

From enrollment through deduction management, Employee Navigator handles benefits efficiently. It’s also helpful for payroll admins when validating data. It’s cost-efficient as well. Integration with ADP was very streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

The reporting function feels somewhat outdated, and the user interface could definitely be improved. Overall, it comes across as a bit old-school.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Open enrollment has become much more efficient for us. While the reporting function isn’t always ideal, it still supports data validation for deduction processing. Integrations with ADP WFN were also well streamlined, which reduced our workload by up to 30%.

  ### 4. User-Friendly Retirement Plan Tool That Makes the Process Straightforward

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keli A. | Executive Administrator, Medical Practice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

It’s very user-friendly, and everything is clearly labeled. We’ve really enjoy using it for our retirement plan, and it makes the process feel straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

You have to click through several screens just to get to where you need to be to upload files. There are too many steps, and it makes the process feel more complicated than it should.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for our retirement plan. As the main admin, I handle updates to all documents and keep employee information current.

  ### 5. Streamlined, User-Friendly, and Supportive Benefit Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily C. | VP of HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Employee Navigator has been an excellent platform for managing our employee benefits. The system is user-friendly, making it simple for both employees and administrators to navigate. Enrollment and updates are straightforward, and the platform provides clear guidance at each step, which has greatly reduced the number of questions we receive from staff.

From an administrative standpoint, it has streamlined processes that used to be time-consuming, such as onboarding, managing benefits, and handling open enrollment. The reporting tools are also a strong feature, giving us easy access to accurate data when we need it.

Overall, Employee Navigator has been a reliable and efficient solution that makes benefits management far less stressful. Our employees appreciate how easy it is to use, and we appreciate the time it has saved our HR team.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

The reporting functionality could be more intuitive, as there is a learning curve when navigating the system and locating specific information.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator has helped streamline and simplify the way we manage employee benefits. It reduces the manual work involved in onboarding, open enrollment, and updating benefits, which saves our HR team valuable time and minimizes errors. The platform also makes the process easier for employees by providing a clear, self-service experience where they can review, compare, and enroll in benefits on their own. Having everything housed in one system has improved accuracy, enhanced communication, and created a more efficient workflow for both administrators and employees.

  ### 6. Excellent All-in-One Solution for Employee Data and Benefits

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gavin G. | Senior People Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

It is a great software that houses both employee data and benefits. It is something that many benefit companies use and can help with EDIs or implementation. It works with most companies, their customer support is great. The Use for employees is very easy and to the point.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I think sometimes EDI feeds can take awhile but that can happen with any software

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps bridge our gap with Benefit management and Open Enrollment, our HRIS was to complex and this assisted us in housing our Benefit Administration

  ### 7. Helpful HRIS Integration, But Manual Data Entry Still Needed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mellany W. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

That we can integrate it with our HRIS system makes it a lot easier to update benefits during open enrollment.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

That we still have to manually input demographic information even though the information was pulled directly from our HRIS system.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No populating the correct benefits deductions as some employee were being prompted to fill out more information even though Employee Navigator did not give any notice they would have to fill that information out.

  ### 8. Simplifies Benefits and Payroll Integration, But Has a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

we use employee navigator to manage our benefits to employees. We integrated with our payroll system which made things much easier

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Employee Navigator is difficult to use and has many components in many different places. It is not an easy program to just pick up and use.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It does our open enrollment and manages employee benefits through it

  ### 9. LOVE EN!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kristina d. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

We love employee navigator it is so streamlined to use and it is great that it integrates with our payroll system makes benefit management so much easier. customer service is wonderful as well. I use this system every day. Our benefit broker implemented everything for us but there were no errors in that process.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Really the only issue i have with the system isn't even an issue with EN but out payroll systems limitation on connectivity with EN. it's a minor issue and one extra step so i don't mind it too much. no implementation issues.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

benefit management

Employee have access to the platform to make personal changes too. I use the system weekly to finish onboard new hire -

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

would love for employee to be able to retrieve their medical card or direct link to the medical site instead of having to go a seperate site for carrier

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the integration with onboarding site -employee can find all their carrier info on this site and enroll all at once. Employee can make personal update and it will update with all the carriers

  ### 11. Good Features, But Integration Limitations and Extra Fees

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Enrollment tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jillian P. | HR Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

It is a great system and integrated seamlessly with our payroll system (Paylocity), which made benefits admin a breeze!

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

At the time, there was no integration with Paycom (not sure if that has changed) bur that limited our choice of HRIS/payroll system.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m not sure about this.

  ### 14. Seamless Carrier and Payroll Integration

  ### 15. Streamlined Enrollment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal B. | SVP/CHRO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

EN (Employee Navigator) has helped streamline our enrollment process. Not only that, our employees are comfortable enough with the system to go in when they have a life event and make the changes without HR having to do the work.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I wish I knew more about the set-up process. The positive is that my agent does all the set-up for us.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a paper free benefit enrollment

  ### 16. Fast Updates and Insightful Data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

It updates quickly and shows great information

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

It is external from our HRIS so it can be harder to get to for employees

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is an easy and fast way to access the information I need. It allows me to find what I'm looking for quickly and without hassle.

  ### 17. Easy benefit setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Employee Navigator makes benefits setup and enrollment straightforward for both employees and HR teams. One of the most helpful features is the reporting functionality—especially the ability to generate clear reports on pending items. This allows for timely follow-up with employees, brokers, or carriers to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

While the system is generally user-friendly, it can occasionally feel rigid when making last-minute changes to enrollments or correcting errors. The interface, although functional, could also benefit from more intuitive navigation and visual updates to enhance user experience.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator helps streamline the annual open enrollment process, manage life event changes, and ensure compliance with benefits administration. It also reduces the need for manual tracking by offering centralized visibility into employee benefit selections and pending tasks.

  ### 18. Excellent Service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gina D. | HR Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Easy for employees to use to update information and seamlessly coordinates with Paylocity

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Sometimes the sync is off and it takes a while to update.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee updates to address - connects to payroll service almost instantly - Sends a notice so HR can check on changes

  ### 19. Streamlined HR platform with easy navigation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia Dockery Hawkins A. | Customer Service Advocate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I like that with Employee Navigator, I'm able to keep track of important dates related to employees, such as birthdays and anniversary of employment dates. The "Tasks Dashboard" also keeps me on track and brings "to-do" items to the forefront.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I've only been using Employee Navigator a few months, but in that time, I've yet to run into anythint I dislike or any features that don't work well.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched from our previous benefits administrator to Employee Navigatior back in June. Although it adds an additional step in the fact that I now have to use a second site for benefits, we're saving thousands of dollars, which is the biggest benefit we could receive.

  ### 20. Horrible Experience!

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather P. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

This is not a comprehensive HRIS but it does it's job when in a pinch or not many options available when integrating or merging payroll systems.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Basic platform, not fancy and only somewhat user friendly. Customer Service was not helpful or supportive in any way. They lack the customer service mark by only replying with brief responses. We ended our contract with EN in 2024 because we switched to a more robust system to handle direct benefit carrier integrations to streamline our processes. EN did not take this well. Employee Navigator DID NOT do an exit walkthrough OR provide us with final reports (as most HRIS's do) OR instructions on what we needed to pull for future audits. Since we are an acquistion company and merge our acquisitions into our HRIS's, we have a lot of knowledge and experience in many platforms. What was shocking is the lack of options in supplying us a limited service for record keeping purposes. Instead we received a response, "That is unfortunately not something we'd be able to help with. All data will be purged from our records prior to the 1st of the month following the termination date and cannot be retrieved once it has been deleted." PURGED?!? Deleted! Don't they have a responsibility to keep employee records for a certain amount of time? Either they are being dificult or just don't care.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was a temporary 'bridge' from our carriers (not COBRA) to our payroll system

  ### 21. Employee Navigator Platform is user friendly, efficient & meets multiple Employer and Broker needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathy M. | Sr. Benefit & Compliance Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The system's ability to integrate with so many carriers and vendors is probably one of the features I like the best. This is a great time saving feature for an agent and their clients. The ease with which an Open Enrollment can be handled combined with the carrier integrations makes the renewal process extremely smooth and flawless. With the added responsibility that employers have with regards to ACA Reporting, the seamless process of generating 1094-1095s for the Employer makes for one more valuable service that an agent can assist with. When encountering any issues or questions with the Employee Navigator platform, the service and quick responsiveness of Management and all Employees to resolve any issues that are encountered is phenomenal. The Service Team is always kind, patient and answers all questions and resolves all problems with a smile. The detailed follow-up responses we receive on phone inquiries are invaluable when reviewing the issue/question that was presented.
Yes, i do love working with Employee Navigator! They strive to be the BEST at what they do.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Don't believe that any one HRIS system can be everything to everybody. There will always be a feature that could/can be added or improved upon. But when it comes to making improvements and responding to changes in technology and the insurance arena, this is definintely a number one priority for Employee Navigator. They continually strive to address brokers needs as it relates to their clients ongoing demands for new features, as well as carrier changes that are continually being made.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Marketing Team has made serious inroads in encouraging more carriers to participate in Data Exchange Feed Integration feature. The Data Exchange is so much easier to work with than an 834 file feed. Having your favorite carrier available on the Data Exchange makes enrollments and terminations effortless.

  ### 22. User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabrina L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

EN is very user friendly and easy to figure out. The support team and articles are great. Setting up plans and imports and whatnot is fairly straghtfoward and the system is mostly good about flagging conflicting information

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

The fact that the file sends terminations to the carrier more than once is an issue because it generates discrepancy reports unnecessarily. EN also gets confused if someone changes from an FSA eligible plan to an FSA ineligible plan as it does not auto term them from it when they select the other plan. As a result, we've had some issues that are caught after the fact. It would be nice if the system had a way to automatically pull the FSA coverage in these instances and put a notice up to the employee letting them know they are no longer going to be enrolled in the FSA plan. It would also need to auto open the HSA window, where applicable, as that plan will still show ineligible for enrollment in these situations because the FSA has not been removed.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall EN support team has been good about taking product improvement suggestions. I can't think off the top of my head what they have been, but we've had a few we've submitted

  ### 23. Sr. Client Services Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Cuts down on processing / admin time. Also there are no challenges trying to read handwriting on paper enrollments. Which can cause errors in maes, DOB's and SS#'s! Been adminstering group benefits for 20 years and this is a game changer has freed up a lot of my time! Found Employee Navigator after 2020 ! Many groups were working from home and it made Open Enrollment and New Hire Administration so much easier. That's how we came to use Employee Navigator, I needed a way to be able to help my groups administer benefits without being face to face.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Just trying to keep up with all the upgrades and changes. Not sure that is a dislike or just user error tryiing to keep up with it.

Time zone difference when I need help and EN is already closed and not available for verbal support. Really challenging with a group we have in Hawaii.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work with a lot of small groups where the office manager wears many hats to include HR this helps them so much stay on top of who needs to complete their benefit elections and so on.

  ### 24. Employee Navigator, A Great System and Easy to Use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** RANA K. | member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

It is easy to use for administrators and employees. The system provides quick links to their Help Center and the page layouts are easy to navigator to find what you need. The Support Team is outstanding with guidance and helps when you need to resolve a matter you can't seem to fix. All in all it is a system I recommend to clients who need a simple and easy to build platform. The build and implementation of Employee Navigator is quick and easy to complete. Integration is also easy, especially the Data Exchange with various partners. I am in EN every day, updating information quickly, setting up open enrollment and generating reports. EN is a great tool for brokers, administrators and employees.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

The fonts are too light and sometimes are hard to read. I would prefer a darker font.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator is able to offer small groups a system for self-service benefit enrollments, record keeping, and partner connections, to help reduce the workload for HR and brokers. As the broker, it allows me to pull reports without involving the HR. It provides broker analytics for all our groups on quick and easy Agency page. Buiding plans is also very quick and easy especially with partner/carriers who provide the ability to pull and quickly build plans. It takes less time building and faster to get groups up and running for enrollment on EN.

  ### 25. Employee Nav is an intuitive benefits and HR platform that can fit the needs of any sized client

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The ability to configure each group to meet the needs of the client.

The support team is always very help at finding solutions to problems.

The user interface is intuitive.

The ability to do data exchange integrations with carriers and payroll integraitons is the most valuable

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

There are some limitations to the plan designs that can create issues when trying to build certain plan types. Specifically supplemental medical. One carrier has issue age supplemental medical and we cannot truly build this out because of the limitations

The qualifying life events tab does not have enough specific options to fit what employees call in for.

The life events on the benefits tab are always defaulted to allow employees to enter in their own life events. This creates issues if an employee creates a life event without HR or our knowledge. Their should be a setting to default all life events to need to be HR approved.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have a platform for enrollment and have those enrollments automatically transfer over to the clients via integrations

  ### 26. Quick and Reliable Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Larry R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Besides being a great platform, the customer service is top notch. I can't stress this enough in an age where most companies shy away from having a real person answer the phone. Issues that I have had as a builder are quickly resolved over the phone or shortly after (typically less than an hour) our conversation. It helps build confidently knowing that I have reliable support when I delve into a new part or function of the system.

Because there are so many features, I often learn something new with every build. I don't think that I am close to using every available function on any of my cases. With so many options the system is very versitle and flexible, making each build a custom creation for each of my clients.

I fell in love with platform the very first time I used it as an enroller. I found the enrollment flow quite user friendly and immeadiately wanted to introduce the platform into my accounts. When I got the opportunity to be a dedicate builder for my agency, I jumped on it. I have had the opportunity to do some individual training in the Frederick, MD office and am looking forward to the convention in DC in June.

I am in the system daily and enjoying the creative side of building cases. While I am leaving a comment in the "dislike " section, know that I am quite satisfied with both the platform and the excellent support team and the experience is coming from someone who is still early in his building experience.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

While overall the integration and implementation of the system is user friendly, the process for many of the vendors can be a little stressful at first. Most of this is the process that the individual vendor uses to test and finalize integration. You can't predict vendor A's timeline by your experience vendor B. Some connect almost instantly while others seem to take months to finally integrate.

Obvously, vendors that you regullarly use prove to be a little more predictable. But, in the process of learning you wonder if there is something you missed or if what you are experiencing is normal.

For instance, the first time that integrated with Aflac Group, I asumed that I needed the plug showing the status of integration had to be green prior to enrolling anyone. I stressed about it, concerned that it was going to hold up open enrollment because it was yellow. I reached out to several people at Aflac Group and folks within my organization and could not get any difintive answer. Finally someone did answer and let me know that the integration wouldn't show green until after the open enrollment and the enrollment files connected. It would have been less stressful to know that up front.

To be fair, that information might be in an article or in the knowledge base. Those also have a lot of information to digest and can be quite overwhelming to someone new to building a company. Not that they don't prove to helpful.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Putting all of the various benefits and vendors in one spot for our accounts. This has been the primary goal of the Aflac Associates that I build cases for. I get most excited when I find that HE manager who is improvising with multiple Excel spreadsheets and just needs some help getting their information into one streamlined platform.

  ### 27. EeNav has been a very helpful tool in managing Enrollment for our block of business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mindi W. | Service Executive / Technical Programs Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

One of the best things about EeNav is the employee experience. I have used numberous online enrollment systems, and EeNav is by far the best experience for employees enrolling in coverage. The flow and ease of completing enrollment helps to work employees through the process and requires litte to no assistance from the broker. It is also very helpful post-enrollment to review benefit elections and access benefit summaries and other documentation.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

If possible, it would be nice to sub-group on medical plans. In Utah, most carriers will offer multiple network choices on the same plan. For example, the group offers a $250, $500 and $1000 deductible, but offers 2 newtworks on each plan. Employees are then looking at 6 plan choices. which can be confusing. It would be better if they only saw the 3 plans, and then selected the Network from there.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recent systems updates have been problematic. The launch of teams looked like it would be a good idea, but becuase we are a part of the Alera group, I lost the ability to fully manages users and company access within my own brokerage. I am now unable to add / terminate users, and I had to have someone else create teams within the brokerage. I would rather take care of all of this myself.

The migration to the new Group Life plan structure has also been problematic. We are running into issues with adding dependents to coverage on a Life Event. There are "supposed" workarounds, but honestly this should not be an issue, it's not that difficult of a process.

  ### 28. Employee Navigator = Versatile, flexible benefits administration system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendra W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The ease of setup, you can setup a client, build simple plans, load data and be ready for an open enrollment with in a few hours. The system can also handle complexities as well and allows for larger groups to be onboarded to the system. Reaching out to Support is easy, they typically have responses within 24-48 hours and are always super polite and professional. Lastly, all the data integrations have made our lives a lot easier! The ease in which you can connect your enrollment to a carrier without little to no effort on your part is a blessing. Looking forward to more carriers and payroll vendors being added in the future! My current team are daily users of Employee Navigator, most have at least 6 years experience on this platform and some have over 20 years experience in the ben admin industry.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Some things we struggle with on the system is COBRA not being included on all the carrier integrations, causing manual work and the onboarding module could be more robust.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating an easy & efficient method to connect our clients with carriers and payroll to bring value to our additional services that we offer our client base.

  ### 29. Happy Client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joy S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

There are so many positives about EN that choosing one is very difficult. I think the 834 file & Data Exchange and API may be my favorite because It saves me so much time from the manual process that I once had to preform. It is so easy to get the groups intergated with the carriers. Employee Navigator has thought of everything.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I really don't have anything that I dislike, but I will give my least favorite. When I need to speak with someone on errors on file feeds. Can't just pick up the phone and speak with them, you usually send an email and wait on the response back from them.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The are working very hard to get as many carriers integrated with them. With the feeds frees up my time so I can work harder with my clients than on manual labor.

  ### 30. Continuous Improvement | Excellent Customer Service | Does what it says it does out of the box!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Love Ann D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I use Navigator hundreds of times daily! Benefit Class and Plans make intellectual sense for every-day benefits professionals and make implementation for 87.5% of cases work like a breeze!! Customer Support is knowledgeable (kind, friendly and thorough!) and Features increase regularly.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Transparently I would love to see more reporting on plans, rates when there are a significant number of both. When there are smaller cases, validating them on the site itself is easy. When there are TONS of both, reports are vital for testing. Additionally, being able to import classes for large cases (Divisions, Departments, Offices) and Zip Codes for large California cases -- entering them manually sometimes the same ones multiple times is frustrating.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New Hire enrollment, Qualified Family Status Changes, Workflow Management, Open Enrollment, Carrier Exchange Integration, EDI (834) Data Exchanges. Easy to complex(ish) plan design setup and fabulous reporting tool

  ### 31. My Experience with EN

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emmanuel K. | Senior Business Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Simple to use, easy to navigate and find what I need and lastly the integrations are very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Not having a mobile app has made it challenging for my team. Especially since it's more desktop than mobile friendly.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All benefits management and integrations with other programs.

  ### 32. We Love Employee Navigator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick G. | '23-'24 Treasurer NAIFA-Florida (Past-President, NAIFA Tampa BAY), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The service is great! They are our subject matter experts, normally 1 call resolution and they really take the time to teach you how to use the application. We LOVE Employee Navigator and the people that answer the phones!!

The reason we love Employee Navigator is it reduces keypunch errors and billing problems. When the employee is entering their own demographic information and that is what is transmitted to the carrier it is likely to be right the first time.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I don't really have any constructive feedback. They allow you to put ideas for improvements and suggestions on a list they review which is great. Anything I've had typically gets addressed.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator streamlines the day to day administration of adds/terms/changes. It also allows feeds to the carriers we use so we don't have to do the administration for most adds/terms/changes.

  ### 33. Employee Navigator is the best investment we have ever made!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen T. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I love the enrollment tools that are available, and I love the ability to track history with Employee Navigator. I also enjoy being able to provide benefit statements as soon as employee has enrolled to show the "true value" of their benefits.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I wish the reporting could be comprehensive at an agency level. If you could take that to the next level, the reporting would be great!

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator is solving the mountains and mountains of copies that we had used in the past when conducting an enrollment meeting! It is also simplifying our ability to provide payroll deductions. It provides the ability to send mass emails to all employees with the push of a button! I can't say enough good things about Navigator.

  ### 34. The Chik Fil A of customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

the staff is always so friendly and always willing to help. They break down questions and provide step by step detail. If they are unsure they do not just say anything but will take the time to look into the question and provide a response that they have tested themself and know is 100% correct.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I have not came across any negative feedback that I have.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving a ticket I recently brought up regarding the benefits description ( on the employee's homepage) that display per department but was not showing all departments. They have reached out to keep me informed about this glitch and how I can track this issue to see whn it ha been updated.

  ### 35. EENav Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christy H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

EENav is very user friendly for all users (broker, HR, employee) and has outstanding support. Online enrollment along with Open Enrollment is a big bonus for employees and HR. Intergration with carriers is a time saver. I find that the "timeline" comes in very handy. Reports give me everything I need.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I really don't have any dislikes. Sometimes working through an 834 intergration might take more time than I expected, however that could be partly on me and no reflection on support.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having online employee benefits enrollment and oneline Open Enrollment for our groups is a time saver and less chance of enrollment errors.

  ### 36. Great experience for everyone!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The best part of Employee Navigator is that it is easy to use and easy to learn for Brokers, Employers and Employees! Employees can easily navigate around the portal and open enrollments are very intuitive.

Employee Navigator's customer service is amazing! There is barely any wait time and everyone is always so helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

If a client is already on EN, the amount of time it takes to rebuild by taking it over on a AOR could be eliminated. The PTO section could be more user friendly and the onboarding section could be more all-encompassing.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problems EN is solving for our agency and clients are manual entry and time savings. Being able to connect to various carriers eliminates manual entry from either the agent side or the client or both!
It is also a great value add we can offer our clients, especially our smaller clients who may not have an HRIS and now have this portal at their fingertips.

  ### 37. Vital tool for expansion and retention

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I love that each client's portal can be customized to the level it can. This helps tailor the experience per group and ease of access for each client's employee base. The Support Center is also very responsive and helpful in getting answers and supplying resources for you to refer back to.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I do not like that the address assignment is lacking, which seems like a basic function that should be there. I also dislike that there is not a central place to see all of the benefits that are offered and pricing so that when you are done building the products in the client's area, you have the ability to quickly look them over and check that everything looks good. Instead, you have to build a demo employee and run them through enrollment, then change anything that will adjust contributions and do it all over. It is a waste of time and, honestly, quite shocking that such a leading system doesn't have that ability.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product allows us to sell groups with a large distance between employees. It also allows us to ease pain points for compliance requirements such as 6055 reporting. Lastly, it has allowed us to streamline some of the HR administration for groups that are replacing or growing. Since most of our groups do not have a dedicated HR individual, it is a helpful tool for them to keep track of everything.

  ### 38. Agent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Ease of use for our clients, as well as me being the Broker. There are ample, customizable reports to choose from, the system is very user friendly, and the information center is helpful to guide you when you aren't quite sure how to handle something in EN.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

We receive lots of requests for a pdf generated election sheet to be emailed to employees and authorized users anytime an employee completes an enrollment, has to modify due to changes made with a life event, or a termination.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Housing all employees information in one place, and being able to setup file feeds/data exchange for the group to ease their workload.

  ### 39. Ease for HR and benefits enrollment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather Lowenstein U. | Operations Manager, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I like the ease of use, how it integrates with our payroll system

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

There is nothing I dislike about Employee Navigator.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

employee confusion and it helps free up more of my time

  ### 40. Employee Navigator is extremely valuable to employees, and priceless for brokers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The most helpful aspect of Employee Navigator has to be the intuitave enrollment flow for employees. On the back end, this system wouldn't be what it is without the robust reporting options that are available.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

While Employee Navigator is great, no system is perfect. For groups with extremely niche and specific policies, there can be limitations as to what can be built out as a full plan. However, most if not all of these situations can be handled with the universal policy build.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee Navigator takes what is normally a long process filled with forms and summaries and puts everything into one easy to use online location. For me Employee Navigator is a tool to allow brokers the ability to achieve growth that would otherwise be impossible.

  ### 41. EASE to EASE Navigator transition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** B S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Affordable and offers more HR tools for the groups.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

It is odd and inconvenient for the brokerage to have one "prime" user for the agency. The plan setups seem more difficult than in EASE. However, I feel like I am waiting until we begin working in it full time, but it appears to not be as user friendly as EASE.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am still waiting to work fully in Navigator from EASE. The point is to keep the groups in order and make OE simple.

  ### 42. EmployeeNavigator is the answer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

EN is easy to use, easy to build. It's very user-friendly, so employees and HR can quickly work their way thru the system. Data Integrations are simple and well-defined. 834 implementation is straightforward and documentation is clear. EN's customer support team is efficient and pro-active, which is very much appreciated, particularly when you're in a bind.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

There's not much I don't like! There are a few carriers that I'd like to see on the Data Exchange, but I realize those decisions are most often based on frequency of requests. I would like to be able to better control emails (automation, frequency of transmission, ability to customize recipients).

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enrolling employees in a timely manner, communicating benefits

  ### 43. I would have to say the Customer Service @ ENav is by far some of the BEST around!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I love how easy it is to build cases, so many of the features make it very simple and relatively quick to complete.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I really wish it could house all of the data on the 3rd party apps such as Colonial, such as who is covered & benefit amounts for reports.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think being able to give our clients a system that has all of their employee data, benefit information and elections in one place is tremendous.

  ### 44. Employee Navigator is both versatile and intuitive, so even beginners can use it effectively.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The automatic recalculation of benefits/costs so that you can compare and make changes in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I would like to have the ability to trigger/force certain recalculations, such as age-based benefits/rate changes, whenever I like instead of only being scheduled on the employee's birthday, or date of the event. I don't believe that a change to Rate Settings should AUTO-recalculate, per se, but I think we should have the ability to recalculate benefits and costs on an employee-by-employee basis, at least, using every possible variable currently in the system for that employee.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's the simplest and most intuitive BenAdmin system I've ever used, as both an employee and as an administrator.

  ### 45. Modern solution for agencies and clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I love the fact that you can use this platform to work with many different carriers with such ease. Their support team is amazing also.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I wish that employee navigator would have the capability to use carriers on smaller accounts also. There are some limitations with carriers when it comes to a small accounts

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to use several different platforms for each Carrier and/or separate enrollment forms is a big plus

  ### 46. EN is User Friendly for Employees, Employers & Brokers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaunee S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Employee Navigator is very easy to use from setting up an account to the employees electing their benefits. It really encompasses everything needed to administer your benefits package.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Self services when trying to fix issues, but the EN Support line makes this easy.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting rid of paper applications for our employer groups and employees is huge. Collecting Beneficiary information is great too as those are often ignored on paper applications.

  ### 47. Employee Navigator is SUPER user-friendly for all users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

I love the end-user navigation. SO easy for employees to make their benefit elections. Being an admin HR user is also very easy. The customer support for premier users is 2nd to none.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

I'm not sure I can think of any at the moment!

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is WAY better than Ease; it is an easy sell to our clients for ease of use for both HR users and employees.

  ### 48. We love Employee Navigator! This system has been a "game changer" for our agency!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen T. | Vice President, Employee Benefits, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

The ability to track eligibility and integrate with multiple carriers very easily! It reduces paperwork and adds value for our clients! Best agency investment we have ever made!

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

We cannot integrate multiple 401-k accounts! Would love to be able to integrate both. Also, the HRA information is limited! Would love to see expansion in both areas!

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more copies of multiple enrollment applications! Consolidates everything in one place!!!!

  ### 49. Technology, Compliance, Integrations & Customer Service - You CAN have it all with Navigator

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Employee Navigator gives the brokers AND the clients the keys for success. As we drive the site programming process and educate the clients on how best to utilize their platform, it isn't just a tool for us, but for them too. Employee Navigator's cutting edge approach to carrier integrations with discrepancy reporting, payroll integrations with some Single Sign On capabilities. ACA compliance reporting through Nelco and an Onboarding feature that eliminates manual processes to name a few, this allows effienciency to flow to the agency and the client. Who doesn't want to save time and money. Accuracy is ensured with the integrations and discrepancies identified before your client realizes there is an issue. Shine above the rest by taking your client's expectations to the next level.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

The EOI submission and approval process could be streamlined better. Currently it is a manual process except for 1 or 2 carriers. If the employees could complete the EOI document from a link to the carrier's site, that would eliminate the delay and confusion of how to fill out the form and who to give it to, whether it be the employer or the broker. Having a way for the EOI approvals to flow through from the carrier to EN as an attachment to the pending "Things to Do" record, might help those HR users to fill in the information correctly. Big Wish.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining the benefit enrollments of our clients - creating better reporting and tracking of completion during OE / Processing eligibilty by using wall notifications or carrier integrations - takes the burden off the client / Giving our clients resources to be more efficient and technology based - onboarding creates an electronic checklist with time/date stamps & creates an easy way to track benefits for their employees / Helping our clients with aca reporting - less stress for the client / Enabling us to program complicated contributions schedules or benefits for different groups - we are their solution when it comes to technology.

  ### 50. Best online Open Enrollment experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Employee Navigator?**

Employee Navigator is extremely user-friendly and can be customized based upon the client's needs. Customer service is unbeatable and no question is too small. Employee Navigator takes feedback and uses it to build and evolve for a better experience for HR and employees.

**What do you dislike about Employee Navigator?**

Implementing a demographic change, such a job class change, is cumbersome when it is a future date. It always creates a problem for the group when they want ID cards to be issued in a timely manner.

**What problems is Employee Navigator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an online enrollment system that allows Open Enrollment to be performed with ease. The reporting is extremely helpful.
