I can update information one time in Paycor and all of the other systems get the information they need to set up and maintain accounts for the most part. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Paycor reporting is not user friendly. I would love to be able to easily select what pieces of information I want in a custom report rather than trying to find a template that has some of it and try to add the information I need. About half the time when I clock in or out on my phone instead of my computer, it does not record the punch. Sometimes when I clock out for lunch and then come back half an hour later to clock back in, it is still processing my earlier punch. It's complicated to check the time card and then report a missed punch. It should be possible to report a missed punch from the time card page. Sometimes when I try to clock in from my phone, it says my username and password are not valid. More than once, it has told me I do not have an account with Paycor when I tried to sign in on my desk computer. In the past, vacation/APTO/sick time has randomly disappeared. It is very easy to make a mistake when requesting time off, and it can be hard to fix the mistake if you make one, especially if you are working from your phone, not a desktop. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I guess Paycor lets our managers do scheduling and keep track of work hours. I also like that I have the ability to access my information from anywhere with the appropriate credentials. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** This may not be a huge deal, but I do wish that the PTO balance showed the exact amount. For example, it will show 17.21 instead of 17.2137. I like that I receive my direct deposit checks 2 days early; however, I really dislike that I can' t see the pay details until Friday (our actual payday). I previously mentioned that I do like the simplicity of the home screen but I feel like there is a lot of unnecessary info displayed there. I'm aware that there are customization options available to me but to be honest, I haven't really messed around with that much. I also wish it provided your total number of hours for the day as you move along. I'd like to see the exact number of minutes/hours I've been here even before clocking out for a break of the end of the day. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was recently able to easily access my info and submit time off for bereavement after the passing of a loved one while not at work. Being able to update tax documents, submit pto requests, and effortlessly refer back to my pay information is very helpful for someone like me. I am constantly on the go with a brain that is firing quickly. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Paycor?** I think in general, just the value you get for the dollar with Paycor is a good economical solution that provides a fairly robust offering. We value some of their app and tracking features because there's some ease of use there. Additionally, their general payroll and HR modules provide some benefit. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** It's challenging. It was really challenging. I think we got okay support, but it was actually a very challenging setup to really figure out how to use. I think in general, they're just not a super robust solution and they're not very innovative. And that really comes into play with some of their support when there's issue management and just takes a very long time. It feels like a lower end product kinda you get what you pay for. And that's, to start me, I think past that, we would just hope to see a more rich feature set evolving with where they're it seems like they've stagnated some. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paycor helps us with payroll, learning management, HR needs, benefits, forms, and approvals. I also appreciate that it keeps everything together in one place, paystubs, tax information, etc. I have never had an issue with paycor performance, it just simply works. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** I do not know about onboarding or price as I am not involved in setting up or purchasing it for use at our company. The only limitation, I think, would be maybe some memory issues on the back end. It's an incredible learning experience. All payroll software are somewhat similar, but none are as dynamic as Paycor. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** The memory or caching issues makes Paycor sluggish, and when I have to manage over 50 employees, that's alot of loading time. **Recommendations to others considering Paycor:** To improve performance, consider optimizing memory usage and enhancing caching mechanisms. Being able to punch in as soon as I login to Paycor is extremely helpful when rushing into work. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** I dislike the process of submitting PTO. With any new update, there are always going to be bugs to work out, but those bugs always seem to happen at the worst times. Not completely their fault of course, but somehow the timing is not always ideal. Also, the tax team and EDI team are hidden away and can never reach out and email or speak to the customers. I realize tax notice resolution can take a very long time, usually because of the tax agency and not Paycor's tax team. Compensation Management feature (even though old one sunsetted and we were forced to have to pay for the feature in order to continue use of it) makes bonuses and commissions alot easier to input into payroll and have managers approve the monthly commission/bonuses to be paid. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** The constant changing of features and then sunsetting them with a forceful hand for you to have to purchase yet another feature in order to use the upgraded version of the feature. Also, do not care for how after they were bought by Paychex that now everything that is improved comes at a cost or an added feature fee per employee regardless if it used by all and regardless if it affects the business's current processes. The mobile app feature is one of our biggest complaints, if they could get the kinks worked out on that feature as a major priority, many would love this HRIS system a lot more. Technology is the way of the world now, so improving the app due to how convenient it is to use to clock in and look at your paystub etc. would boost the productivity behind it, and that is the employee themself. One thing I absolutely and my managers as well is the performance management feature, it absolutely terrible. Performance management/reviews is not a one size fits all for all organizations across the world so they need to do better about allowing more customization to it. Not a fan of the recruitment platform because it is very finnicky at times, but it gets the job done. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quicker processing of payroll(s) and allowing us more time to be able to work on more strategic issues. I will say when I did the pilot program for Wise; it was awesome to be a part of and honestly should be part of Paycor HR Admin package for the HRIS without added cost, but as soon as the pilot program was completed, the only way you could use WISE is if you paid for it, again nickle and dime you, which is exactly why we left Paychex years ago, but now we do not have much choice since Paycor was bough by them. ### 15. Any information I need is generally easily accessible. Being able to clock in/out via smartphone is also very handy. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** My chief complaint is the lack of flexibility. We have a small team (about a dozen employees) and it generally takes more time and effort--for both me and our team members--to go through all of Paycor's required steps for PTO or missed punches or what have you than the old way of them sending the information to me and I take care of it. Paycor is also built on the assumption that all employees have access to either a computer or smart phone to clock in/out. This is not the case as we have several part-time employees who do not work in the office and do not have smart phones. I can enter their time manually, but the process is very cumbersome, because it is of course not designed to work that way. There is, however, no other practical way to get time information in the system for those employees. Entering other, non-time items (e.g. mileage reimbursement, per diem, etc.) is equally cumbersome. A few other points: - Employees also cannot individually opt in or out of receiving a physical pay stub in the mail. - The system frequently flags punches as being out of bounds when the employee was standing in the office when they put that punch in. - Additionally, the punch button in the mobile app is very easy to not trigger, and, since the app still changes screens when you miss, it is also very easy to not realize that the punch was not entered, creating a mess that gets to be sorted out at a later date. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It centralizes payroll functions and employee information. ### 20. I like the idea of setting goals, but it's not easy to track, and most people have problems during review time on what order to do everything and also where to find the review. Also time cards created more work on everyone including management. We used to be able to fix our own missed punches in ADP, know we cant fix our own time card and have to get management involved and this is a headache for some that miss alot of punches. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are no major problems with Paycor, it just created more work for everyone for time cards when we switch from ADP. ### 48. With additional tools we have added on, we're able to train and develop our workforce, understand hopw our workforce engages with survey tools and much more easily complete performance management. We find that Paycor's mobile app and online platforms are easy to use even for our non-computer based workforce. ### 49. That is very annoying. Being able to see available PTO quickly is good also. I am not aware of integrations, performance, pricing or support available. AI everywhere is awful. **What do you dislike about Paycor?** Entering PTO requests are not as easy as they should be. Requiring 8 hours to be manually entered by scrolling through a list of numbers is tedious. in general, 8 hours is a work day. It should not be required to scroll through that list for every entry. **What problems is Paycor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's really not solving much that I can see other than being able to access certain information easily. The one newer feature that is good is the ability to create my own landing page with the items I use. It used to contain all kinds of things that were useless to me. ### 50.
