They offer no support to make the corrections for the errors they create. They want to charge us for us to make corrections. So now as a small company we will pay for the differences in benefits that they failed to do correctly and we will make the changes to the previous 10 payrolls so that the end of year reports are correct. We will have to do a monthly reconciliation of all benefit costs for each individual...we could not do this if we had more than 10 employees but this is a workload we did not plan for. **What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are not solving any of our issues...but they published a document to show us how to correct the errors ourselves. There is no guarantee that future benefits will be done correctly, so we will continue to audit. ### 2. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, which saves our team time and reduces administrative back-and-forth. I especially appreciate how automated workflows keep processes moving efficiently while still giving us the visibility and control we need. It makes managing HR feel organized, scalable, and far less manual. **What do you dislike about Rippling?** Our implementation experience with Rippling was extremely disappointing. The teams operated in silos and often seemed more focused on securing five-star reviews than ensuring we were genuinely comfortable and confident using the platform. Instead of providing hands-on, practical support, we were directed to hours of videos and tutorials. Too frequently, issues were escalated by “submitting an engineering ticket,” which made it feel as though no one on the implementation team had the expertise or authority to actually resolve problems in real time. One particularly frustrating example was when a team “took a correction payroll off our plate,” only to create significant additional issues for us. The effort required to secure any meaningful make-good was exhausting, and Rippling did very little to proactively rectify the problems or rebuild trust. **What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?** Rippling's automation and workflows are still in process of being built, but they will remove the admin of onboarding, off boarding, employee experience surveys, expensing, and more. The live chat with agents / AI bot is resourceful. **What do you dislike about Rippling?** Everything feels "a la carte" when purchasing the tools. You have to purchase one thing after another. I also believe the workflows should be unlimited for all plans as that is a HUGE selling point for Rippling. Lastly, I think there needs to be more specialists for using the tools to their fullest potential. Sometimes I have ideas of what I need done and ask for help from the "specialists" but they can't figure out how to do what I need, even though they say it CAN be done. The workflows help streamline onboarding and other tasks, and the recruiting tool makes applicant tracking easy. Before using Rippling, it would take me about five hours to complete running a payroll cycle, but with Rippling, it only takes about five minutes. It has made our staff and managers extremely happy because it's very end user-friendly and intuitive. Even if they don't know how to do something, they can quickly figure it out. Rippling also has a lot of integrations in place, like with Canva, our retirement system, and Gmail, which really makes things smooth. **What do you dislike about Rippling?** I think one of the biggest problems with Rippling is that it's really designed for a typical office building with a static work week. We're a small grocery store and our scheduling is very fluid, changing every week, and we're also unionized. It struggles with customization for our unique schedule and union contract needs. The person leading our implementation didn’t seem to know much about the product, didn't have answers to basic questions, and was not eager to find solutions. It has all of the HR function that you need. Payroll, benefits administration, time tracking, time off, recruitment, applicant tracking, onboarding/offboarding, auto generating ROEs, etc. If you take advantage of the customer support, it is great with any issues that you have. However, it can be a pain to get to a live agent, as it starts off with AI. **What do you dislike about Rippling?** First, when demoed, they do the demo with all the bells and whistles. They do tell you that each App has an additional cost, but they do not tell you that you only get only one custom workflow and one formula data field with the standard package. I would like to know all of the additional costs before deciding on a product. Finding out about the "extra costs" during the implementation was not ideal. Further, there are still a few engineering issues that need to be addressed. The team has been actively working on resolving them, and I believe that once these problems are fixed, Rippling could become a leading HRIS. Finally, I found the implementation process to be challenging, except for Benefits and Recruitment. The two gentlemen (Ben for the Benefits App and Chris for the Recruitment App) were GREAT. **What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest challenge we faced, which Rippling has helped address, was applicant tracking and onboarding — particularly as our organization has experienced significant growth, requiring extensive recruitment and multiple hires at once. ### 15. This leads me to submit about two tickets per week due to roadblocks. Now they automatically enter a 1-hour lunch break if you even go over your shift by 1 minute. There are many days where I work 8 hours straight with no break whatsoever, so when it automatically pops in a 1-hour break if I go 1 or 2 minutes over, I have to then go in and manually delete the break. If I want to clock out for 30 minutes instead of an hour on any given day either for lunch or an appointment I no longer have the ability to do that without entering it manually after the fact. There is no way to choose "break" or "meal break" any longer. We just have to manually clock out then clock back in with no way to designate it as a meal break. Also I'm getting a lot of errors saying I have overlapping time entries even when I don't. If I refresh that goes away. **What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps the employees keep track of any available PTO, request it from one centric location, view their paystubs whenever needed, view/edit their W2s, and log in for their shifts daily. ### 30. Schedules should be included in your time and attendance package.
