## Bored on Slack Reviews
  ### 1. Super fun and great for team bonding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pranita A. | Social Media Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

The randomness is the best part about BORED. The entire team comes together to engage on BORED and it's also refreshing for everyone who needs a quick mental break from work!

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

The lack of customisation is something that can be worked upon. Also, you end up repeating the same games after a point and the surprise element is lost in the process.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's unique approach to enhance team bonding has helped to promote creativity and enhance team work internally. It has helped to reduce the boredom team mates experience at work and people do get creative while playing different games.

  ### 2. I used it as reference for building a gaming experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

You can set it to send notifications to a team whenever you want

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

It's not easy to turn off notifications. Sometimes slack continues to send notifications, annoying for the team.
Doesn't work well if other team members are in remote time zones

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Playing games with the team
Something fun to do
Fun trivia quiz distraction
Healthy competition within the team
Allows you to know your team members deeper, what they care about etc

  ### 3. Something fun to keep your Slack channels entertained

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

The app is quite simple actually - every day it sends a funny and interesting question to the channel you assign it to, and people can chime in with replies. Our company uses it to keep interactions up in our #random channel. It is a good icebreaker for new and existing folks because the questions illicit responses that lead to more questions and funny stories.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

It does get stale at one point as people start to ignore it as the days get busy. But occasionally, I find people respond to the questions, and it's fun when that happens!

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing major apart from the fact that it starts new conversations and sometimes keeps the conversations going as well. You also get to learn funny things about your colleagues and is a great way to bond with the folks - especially if you're in a remote setting.

  ### 4. It a fun way of bonding online

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shristi S. | Human Resource Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

Bored does have a full set of features that, to me, means 'complete'. There is an initial learning curve, but once you are in and get a hang of it, Bored offers everything that you possibly expect from an engagement app so to speak.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

The options are plenty when it comes to the games. If Bored adds an ability to customise more and adds more games, that would be an added advantage, overall I don't think this qualifies as a dislike but rather a suggestion.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bored is an easy engagement tool. The convenience of having everything at the same place engagement-wise is a blessing for a medium-sized corporation. It benefits us in solving our engagement issues

  ### 5. Slack..bored..NEVER!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle G. | warranty/trouble shooting customer service agent, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

The most helpful on bored on slack is keep employees engaged by making virtual games that make thier job more enticing and give everyone something to look forward to while at work!

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Some employees take advantage of this incentive, and instead of working, they play games which should only be done in their free time. I would like to see improvements like allowing s to block this feature when the employees should be working and not playing.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees feel like they have nothing to look forward to and Bored on Slack gives our employees that boost and hope that they can win something at work and making the job not so boring.

  ### 6. Bored is fun and lightens up the work day!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

I really appreciate the simplicity of Bored. The ability to have simple and mostly mindless games to play throughout the day is really great! I also love that it's inside Slack for convenience

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

I've found that Slack seems to limit the true potential of Bored. The games are fun, but it seems like there could be a lot more to them without the coding limits of slack. If we could have games that are more hands-on, that would be awesome!

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that it provides a much needed break in the day. When tensions are getting high or the stress is really reaching a breaking point, Bored provides a great break!

  ### 7. Bored on Slack is Fun!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

Whether working remotely or from the office, 'Bored on Slack' reminds us to take a break and get off the work we are working on. It is more than a simple quiz or game. Love beating office mates in every game.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Can't recall anything worthy of dislike. But as a suggestion, more games like Pictionary or bingo might be fun. These might not be possible due to limitation on Slack but I am pretty sure, there can be more games like the ones already present.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps fight boredom, gives a break and works wonders in team building. Personally, it is more fun when we are playing games at the office where people intentionally shout out the wrong answer and deceive others.

  ### 8. Bored On Slack Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kartik s. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

  ### 9. Bored is fun!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Funding Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

I like the fun games that Bored provides. They can certainly be a welcome distraction from an intense and stressful work day. The automation and simplicity make the perfect tool

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

I find the function of the games to be somewhat confusing at times. The games provided can be a bit hard to follow, especially within a channel and it can make it difficult to actually have a good time playing the game.

**Recommendations to others considering Bored on Slack:**

The best and probably the only option for games on slack. It's fun, but give yourself a couple of practice rounds to figure out the mechanics. You probably have to be focused on the games to play them.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bored on Slack is helping provide temporary distraction and stress relief throughout the work day. It increases my mood, my feeling of accomplishment, my ability to stay focused, and my connectedness with my team.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Sometimes the message takes few seconds to appear upon sending, that is very rare but yeah thats the only thimg I dislike. Rest the tool is perfect

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the WFH culture slaxk is very good mode of communication and solves the problem of information sharing without any security breach. Apart from that it connects people from different cities working in the team together at one place/group.

  ### 14. Great fun for remote teams but a bit slow and sluggish

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura F. | Chief Funnel Architect and CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Bored on Slack?**

Great quizzes and chat options to get to know co-workers remotely and challenge each other. Love the feature that you can choose the topic and send challenges after.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Slows down the system quite a lot. Also some of the questions are repeated which takes away from the fun. Other than that, easy to install and implement, apart from the delays.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting remote teams. We have teams working from home due to the pandemic, also remote workers in different countries, even continents. Great to have a get-together with a theme.

Lots of options to create a few daily reversions from rote work.

**What do you dislike about Bored on Slack?**

Trivia options have a lot of repeats. After 2-3 weeks there are lots of familiar questions.

**Recommendations to others considering Bored on Slack:**

It's simple and easy to use. The options are limited and somewhat repetitive but it's still lots of fun.

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving employees a few daily breaks to stretch their mental muscles. Trivia. Icebreakers and other short contests help break up the day. Conversations on Slack follow that make Bored games more anticipated the next day.

  ### 16. Fun game to play on Slack!

Great tool to play games with the entire team! Only to be used for activities, not for procrastination!

**What problems is Bored on Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems- None
Benefits- team gets together to play and share a few moments we all work remotely!
