As an HR professional who works with multiple HRIS platforms, I can confidently say that Rippling is by far my favorite! The system is incredibly intuitive, user-friendly, and thoughtfully designed, making even complex HR processes easy to manage.

I regularly use Rippling for payroll, benefits administration, reporting, and employee records management. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to update employee information, manage documents, and track changes throughout an employee's entire lifecycle with the company. My biggest frustration with Rippling is that so many features come at an additional cost. While I appreciate the flexibility of choosing the tools that best fit an organization's needs, the add-on pricing can quickly become expensive. This is especially true of the newer AI features, which I would love to take advantage of but find difficult to justify at their current price point. What I love most about Rippling is that it gives HR people the ability to build. I’m not someone who wants to accept ‘that’s just how we’ve always done it.’ If there’s a repetitive, manual HR process, I want to understand the problem, look at the data, and figure out how we can automate it. Rippling gives me the platform to actually do that. It turns HR from a function that is constantly chasing information into one that can build systems, automate work, and focus on higher-value decisions. The biggest challenge for me is that Rippling is so configurable that sometimes it can feel more complex than it needs to be. I love having the flexibility to build and customize. It gives us a central space to run all people operations, from the Payroll app for payroll administration, to the Leave Policies to offer benefits, to the custom courses we create using Learning Management. The AI automation workflows have performed well in maintaining compliance in a quick and reliable manner as well. Pricing is giving us value for our money and saving us time that would otherwise be spent running these functions manually. It's a little time-consuming to get through to a human customer support agent if the AI support doesn't resolve an issue or answer a question. As payroll and compliance can work on tight deadlines, there are times I've wished that there was a quicker process to reach a real person. Additionally, some of our less tech-savvy team members struggle to submit expenses for reimbursement in the current way, which is one by one or in bulk by typing into a Rippling bulk spreadsheet. This can be a little tricky as it can add to the workloads of already busy employees. I use Rippling as an employee, mostly to apply for leave, check my pay stubs and look at the holiday calendar. Applying for leave is really simple. It takes a few clicks, my balance is shown right there, and I get notified once it's approved, so I don't have to email anyone. Pay stubs are easy to find and download whenever I need them. Having the holiday list in the same place helps me plan time off without asking HR. The mobile app is handy for quick checks too.

It would be helpful to have more customization options so that only the required tiles are visible to the user. Right now, it shows everything at once.

So, I am from accounting side as well, so, when I download the reports in one currency for multiple geographical entities, these are converted in USD at the spot rate and the reports show FX fluctuations. As an employee, it is very important for me to have an easy access when it comes to my employee profile, salary, and other employment information I need, thus I'm very happy because this is what exactly Rippling provides me. I really like most of Rippling's features. I can easily view and control the information. I use Rippling to clock in and out of work, which helps the company measure worked time and hours, keeping a good rhythm to receive my pay. Getting in touch with a real person isn’t exactly difficult, but it’s slow. It can take days to get a response when you actually need a human. Also, I think the AI in the chat sometimes lies. One day I requested a ticket number because it was necessary to reach a person (and the person never reached out). There isn't enough flexibility or self-service functionality for administrators, and tasks that should be relatively simple can become unnecessarily complicated. Having to rely on support for changes that should be manageable on the administrative side can be frustrating. I've used better systems, but I've also used worse.
