Best place for your ELNs! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026 **What do you like best about CDD Vault?** It's a very good application for writing Electronic Lab Notebooks and keeping records of chemical reactions. The interface is easy to use. I especially like the "link" feature which helps keep a record of all previous experiments. One can attach pictures and important files too. I frequently used this software for keeping all my records. **What do you dislike about CDD Vault?** The internal structure editor needs improvement. The features feel scattered, and drawing structures can get confusing at times. Even when I paste from other chemical editors, it doesn’t bring everything over correctly. Some elements, such as chemical bonds, aren’t pasted completely. **What problems is CDD Vault solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s been helpful for record-keeping and data management, especially for chemical synthesis. It also makes it easier to search for registered chemicals in the inventory and link them directly to my ELN page. ### 2. The intuitive interface makes it easy to upload, organize, and retrieve data, while the built-in analysis and visualization tools allow for quick insights into structure–activity relationships. I also appreciate the flexible collaboration features, which make sharing data with internal teams and external partners seamless, yet controlled. Overall, it significantly improves efficiency and scientific decision-making. **What do you dislike about CDD Vault?** "While CDD Vault is very user-friendly overall, I find that bulk data uploads can require extra formatting, and some of the reporting/visualization options feel a little limited compared to dedicated analysis tools. For very large datasets, performance can occasionally slow down. Still, these are relatively minor compared to the value it brings in centralizing and securing research data." **What problems is CDD Vault solving and how is that benefiting you?** "CDD Vault solves the problem of scattered research data by providing a secure, centralized platform that integrates chemistry and biology information. It eliminates the inefficiency of managing multiple spreadsheets and tools, and makes collaboration with colleagues and external partners seamless.
