## SAP Concur Reviews
 ### 1. Powerful Expense & Travel Management with Strong Controls and SAP Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kuldip B. | IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is a strong expense and travel management solution, particularly for medium to large organizations. It helps automate expense reporting, streamline approvals, improve compliance, and integrate with financial systems such as SAP. While it offers powerful features and robust controls, some users find the interface less intuitive and the implementation process complex. Overall, it is a good choice for organizations looking to improve efficiency and visibility in their travel and expense management processes.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the main drawbacks of SAP Concur is that its user interface can feel outdated and difficult to navigate. Users often report that submitting expenses requires too many steps, making the process time-consuming. The system can also be expensive to implement and maintain, particularly for smaller organizations. Additionally, some users experience slow performance and find that configuring workflows and reports requires significant administrative effort.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur is solving the challenges of manual expense reporting, travel booking, and reimbursement processing. By automating these tasks, it reduces administrative workload, improves compliance with company policies, and provides better visibility into employee spending. This benefits the organization through faster approvals, more accurate expense tracking, reduced errors, and increased efficiency, allowing employees and finance teams to focus on higher-value activities.

 ### 2. Powerful, but Click-Heavy: SAP Concur Needs a More Intuitive Experience

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth M. | Contractor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is one of those tools people tend to appreciate most when it’s doing its job quietly in the background—especially in companies where travel and expenses can get messy fast.

What I’d say stands out most about it:

Its biggest strength is how it centralises everything—expenses, receipts, travel bookings, and approvals—in one system. Instead of chasing receipts or dealing with spreadsheets, everything flows through a single approval pipeline, which reduces admin friction for both employees and finance teams.

People also tend to like the mobile receipt capture. You can snap a photo of a receipt on the go and it’s already in the system, which makes expense reports far less painful than the old “collect everything at month-end” approach.

On the company side, finance teams usually value the compliance controls and policy enforcement. It helps flag out-of-policy spending automatically, which reduces manual checking.

The main criticism you’ll hear, just to keep it balanced, is that it can feel a bit clunky or complex at first—especially if an organisation hasn’t configured it well or users aren’t trained properly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

With SAP Concur, the criticisms usually don’t come from the idea of the system, but from how it feels to use in practice.

The most common complaint is that it can feel unintuitive and a bit “click-heavy.” Simple things like submitting an expense report can involve more steps than users expect, especially compared to newer, more streamlined apps. If a company hasn’t configured it well, that complexity becomes even more noticeable.

Another downside is performance and interface design. Some users find it dated or cluttered, particularly when switching between travel booking, expense claims, and approvals. It’s powerful, but not always elegant.

There’s also the issue of strict policy enforcement. While finance teams like this, employees sometimes feel it’s rigid—small mistakes (wrong category, missing field, slightly non-compliant receipt) can trigger rework or rejection, which adds frustration.

Integration and setup can be another pain point on the admin side. It works well once fully implemented, but getting it aligned with payroll, accounting systems, and company policies can take time and expertise.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With SAP Concur, the problems it’s mainly designed to solve are around expense chaos, lack of visibility, and slow manual processes in companies that handle a lot of travel and spending.

One big problem it solves is disconnected expense tracking. Without a system like this, employees submit receipts in spreadsheets or emails, and finance teams have to reconcile everything manually. Concur brings it all into one workflow so expenses, receipts, and approvals are tied together.

Another is policy enforcement and compliance. Companies often struggle with inconsistent spending rules being followed. Concur automatically flags or blocks out-of-policy claims, which reduces errors and prevents overspending before it happens rather than catching it later.

It also solves slow reimbursement cycles. When expenses are submitted digitally and routed automatically for approval, employees typically get reimbursed faster compared to manual systems that sit in inboxes or get delayed.

For businesses, the benefit is mostly better financial control and visibility—they can see spending trends in real time, control budgets more tightly, and reduce fraud or accidental misuse.

For employees, the benefit is more practical: less paperwork, easier receipt capture (just upload from a phone), and a clearer process for getting money back without chasing managers or finance teams.

So overall, the value is less about “doing something new” and more about removing friction and manual work from a process that used to be messy and slow.

 ### 3. SAP Concur Makes Reimbursements and Mileage Tracking Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin N. | Administrative Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I love using Sap Concur because of how easy it was to use, and get trained on. The possibilities are endless, and it is super efficient. It has all of the tools that you need.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I don’t dislike anything about concur. It has everything I need. I use this service for reimbursement. I drive a lot for work and so I get my mileage reimbursed, and it is the easiest thing ever. I also use my personal credit card for a lot of purchases and it is easy 1,2,3 step.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help me do reimbursements. I drive, and use my own credit card for purchases, and they help the reimbursement process go very smoothly. And it helps that you can also allow others to act as you so that your admin can take care of your expenses as well.

 ### 4. Streamlines Expense Management with Handy Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aman G. | Senior Customer Support Representative, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is how it centralizes and automates the entire expense and travel management process, making it much easier to track and control spending. The UI is clean and structured, which helps users quickly submit expenses, upload receipts, and monitor approvals without confusion. Integrations with corporate credit cards, ERP systems, and accounting tools reduce manual data entry and errors, significantly improving efficiency. Performance is reliable, even during peak periods, and reports generate quickly. From a pricing and ROI perspective, it delivers strong value by saving time and improving compliance. Onboarding is supported with clear documentation, and the built‑in intelligence helps flag policy issues and duplicate expenses, making expense management more accurate and transparent.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the main dislikes about SAP Concur is that the user experience can feel a bit complex, especially for new users. Some workflows require multiple steps, which can make simple expense submissions feel time‑consuming. The UI, while functional, is not always intuitive and could benefit from more simplification and consistency. Occasional performance slowdowns and sync delays with integrations can be frustrating during peak usage. Additionally, customization options are limited in some areas, and support responses can sometimes take longer than expected for non‑critical issues.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the challenge of managing expenses, travel bookings, and reimbursements in a manual and fragmented way. It centralizes expense reporting, receipt capture, approvals, and compliance into a single platform, which reduces errors and administrative effort. The automation and integrations with corporate cards and finance systems speed up reimbursements and improve visibility into spending. This benefits me by saving time, ensuring policy compliance, and providing better control and transparency over expenses for both employees and finance teams.

 ### 5. Fast, Easy Receipt Submissions with a Time-Saving Mobile App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle L. | Enterprise Account Manager Nordics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The mobile app makes it really easy — you just take a photo of your receipt or upload a file, and it scans and reads it automatically. After that it's basically just a couple of clicks to submit. Saves a lot of time compared to doing it manually.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The receipt scanning can be a bit slow at times — it would be a better experience if it processed a bit faster. A small improvement, but it would make an already smooth workflow even quicker.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It streamlines the whole expense reporting process, making it quick and straightforward to submit claims. The biggest benefit for me is the fast turnaround — once submitted, reimbursements come through quickly, which is great compared to more manual processes.

 ### 6. Simple UI Makes Expense Claims and Approval Notifications Effortless

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian L. | ICT Senior Executive, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The UI is straightforward to use, and creating an expense claim is really easy. I simply create a report and then add my expenses. The receipt-scanning feature is also very convenient. Last year they updated the portal, and it now looks much cleaner and definitely loads faster.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

If you need to claim mileage, the mileage calculator could use some improvement. Right now, you have to type the full address or place name to pinpoint a location. It would be much easier if the map were interactive, so you could select the location directly on the map instead of having to enter everything manually.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user, I didn’t have many options for app integrations at first. Over time, though, they’ve rolled out more apps that can connect with Concur, and that has gradually made things easier. The integration I end up using most often is Grab.

 ### 7. Effortless Receipt Management, Needs Better Editing Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shurouq O. | Managing Optometrist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that it's easy to upload things from my phone because most of my receipts come directly there, which makes the whole process really convenient for me. I appreciate being able to access SAP Concur on different devices, which gives me the flexibility I need when managing my expenses. The feature of uploading my receipts so that I can get reimbursed and send them to my assigned boss is something I find particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I'm pretty sure I had a situation where I submitted a report and then had to track it and resubmit it. It wouldn't let me just edit the person it's going to, but instead, it made me redo the entire thing.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to get reimbursed. It's easy to upload receipts from my phone, which helps me process expenses efficiently.

 ### 8. Streamlined Expense Tracking with Room for Mobile Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dev S. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the smooth booking system and expense reporting in SAP Concur. It takes care of end-to-end automation, where from booking to reimbursement, the process is very smooth. Booking travel is seamless as my travel bookings automatically link to expenses. The receipts are automatically scanned, attached, and processed for approval, leading to faster reimbursements. This saves me a lot of time, eliminating the need to track or follow up multiple times without any stress.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I find the mobile app not so great compared to the web app. It has limited features available like detailed report editing, advanced policy review, and complex expense allocations. I often need to switch back to the web portal to complete certain tasks.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for digital expense entry with receipt scanning, autofilling expense reports to avoid paperwork, and linking travel booking to expenses for faster reimbursements. It saves me time, removing the need to track or follow up, and reducing stress.

 ### 9. Effortless Claim Management with Smooth Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandan T. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I find SAP Concur to be a one-stop solution for uploading multiple documents, and I like the feature that auto-detects the dates, invoice numbers, etc. It makes the process so much smoother because once you upload docs or invoices, the required fields get extracted by the system, so you don't have to fill them in manually. Everything works smoothly for me, including the multilevel approval process with inbuilt options. I like that if there are issues with the document, I can refer back to the employee, which aids in a smooth approval process. Also, the initial setup was all smooth.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the key challenges with SAP Concur is the limited flexibility in expense categories and user input options. It often lacks sufficient customization for real-world expense scenarios, leading to manual workarounds. The user interface can also feel complex, with multiple steps required for simple submissions. Additionally, receipt scanning accuracy is inconsistent, and the overall experience could be improved with better automation, smarter suggestions, and more intuitive navigation. Performance lags and limited visibility into approval workflows further impact user efficiency.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for submitting and reimbursing claims, benefiting from its multilevel approval process and options. It auto-detects dates and invoice numbers, saving me from manually filling fields, and is a one-stop solution for uploading documents.

 ### 10. Effortless Expense Tracking with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Potnuru S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I have used SAP Concur for submitting expenses and bills such as internet bills, mobile usage bills, and team outing expenses. What I like about SAP Concur is that it's a good application for both users and the organization to track and trace expenses or reimbursements in an easy way. Approvers get a view of all submissions and their purposes. It's also nice that we can add bill images so the finance team can review and make a decision on the bills to get reimbursed or not. Another advantage is being able to track the status, see whom it's pending with, and get step-by-step status updates until the claim gets paid. I also appreciate that we can see the history of all our earlier claims. The wide range of features, SAP support, and customization based on organization needs were reasons for moving to SAP Concur. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Instead of creating a report and adding the expenses, if SAP Concur can provide a way to directly raise claims, that will be more convenient for users.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps track expense claims more easily, showing step-by-step status and history. It supports submitting expenses efficiently with features like bill image uploads, enhancing transparency for finance review.

 ### 11. Concur is a "one stop shop" for all business expense reimbursements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia V. | Quality Compliance Manager, Pharmaceuticals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2019

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Concur is used by many companies for expense reimbursements for travel, educational seminars and certification fees. It’s a fairly easy system to use. Expense receipts are uploaded and can track status of approval for each expense.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The expenses need to post correctly in order to submit for reimbursement. When there are issues with expenses posting incorrectly by the vendor or if a partial refund is expected, those issues need to be resolved before an expense report can be submitted for approval and that can create a delay in expense reimbursement and potentially generate late fees.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expense reimbursements and tracking expenses. It is beneficial to have one system where all expenses and receipts can be tracked. It is helpful that multiple expenses can be added into one single expense report for faster and more efficient processing and approval.

 ### 12. Seamless Navigation with Rock-Solid Uptime

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anmol M. | Cloud Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It is so seamless to navigate through it plus the best feature is its availability and uptime. I never saw it down.

Secondly, any change in the status of raised claim/ticket is communicated using email which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I think with the rise of AI World, i think many repetitive details can be auto fetched.

Secondly there should be an option to schedule your upcoming reimbursements like how we use clone feature in JIRA

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur makes life significantly easier for frequent corporate travellers. With its robust set of features from automated expense tracking and real-time claim status updates to seamless booking integration, it brings everything into one place. It also ensures that any disputes or shortfalls are promptly communicated, making the entire reimbursement and tracking process far more transparent and efficient.

 ### 13. Streamlines Expense Management with Minor UI Setbacks

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nidhi P.

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like the ability to manage expenses, receipts, and approvals in one system with SAP Concur. It provides good visibility into the status of expense reports, reduces paperwork, and helps streamline the reimbursement process. The automation and document storage features make the process much more efficient and organized. It reduces the amount of manual tracking required, and having everything in one place makes it easier to review expense reports and locate information when needed. The automated approval process helps move requests through the workflow more efficiently and improves accuracy while saving time.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is effective for managing expenses, the interface can sometimes feel less intuitive than other modern applications. Certain tasks require multiple clicks, and new users may face a learning curve when navigating the system. The interface can be a bit overwhelming for new users because there are many menus and steps involved in common tasks. Simplifying navigation and providing more guidance instructions would make the system easier to learn and use.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage employee expenses efficiently, reducing manual work. It centralizes approvals, improves visibility, streamlines reimbursements, and automates processes, saving time and improving accuracy with proper documentation and consistent record-keeping.

 ### 14. Effortless Expense Management with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KAREN JOY S. | Accounting Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I’ve been using SAP Concur for our company’s expense and travel management, and overall it has been a very positive experience. The system is user-friendly, organized, and makes submitting expenses much easier compared to manual processing. One of the features I appreciate most is how convenient it is to upload receipts and track reimbursement status in real time. The approval workflow is smooth and helps speed up processing while maintaining proper documentation and transparency. SAP Concur has helped improve efficiency within our team by reducing paperwork and minimizing errors in expense reporting. The platform is accessible and easy to navigate, even for first-time users. I also like how SAP Concur integrates well with accounting systems, payroll, banking platforms, and email applications, which helps streamline expense reporting, approvals, and reimbursements. The integration with other tools like Microsoft Excel and SAP ERP reduces manual work and improves accuracy. The initial setup was very friendly and easy.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Nothing.Excellent

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find SAP Concur makes expense and travel management user-friendly and efficient. It simplifies submitting expenses, uploading receipts, and tracking reimbursements in real time, cutting down paperwork and errors. Its integration with other tools streamlines reporting and improves accuracy.

 ### 15. An enterprise grade All-in-One Expense and Travel Management with a couple considerations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig A. | GM & CTO APAC, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It offers extensive capabilities for managing business expenses overall. I like that I can handle both personal and team expenses in the same app, and that business travel can also be booked and managed there, including flights and accommodation. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, but it still feels a bit bare-bones. The bigger drawback is the lack of meaningful automation, which creates manual overhead that could likely be reduced with a few basic workflow additions.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The lack of basic automation is frustrating and creates significant administrative overhead, which feels like an odd gap given the breadth of integrations available. The mobile app is well laid out, but it doesn’t seem to integrate meaningfully with the web UI beyond capturing receipts on the phone.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Concur as our source of truth for global expense management, and its support for multiple currencies is hugely beneficial for us. It also integrates with our back-office applications, which helps keep everything connected and consistent.

 ### 16. Meets All Our Reimbursement Needs with Easy Setup and Great AI Validation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avnish G. | Senior Manager, Corporate IT, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur meets all our requirements for recording, paying, and reporting employee reimbursements. It offers a solid workflow and is easy to set up. It integrates well with most ERPs, and performance-wise it is also okay. We have started exploring the new built-in AI functions, especially the validation for completeness, and this feature is great.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The tax setup in SAP Concur is very limited, and it doesn’t connect with an external tax engine. At times, the configuration can be confusing, and tracking issues backward to identify the cause of a failed transaction is difficult.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use SAP Concur to reimburse employees’ expenses, and it meets our requirements very well. We haven’t needed any customization because we’re using the standard out-of-the-box features. That, in itself, is proof to me that it’s a great tool.

 ### 17. SAP Concur Streamlines decision making and helps in strategies building with Speed and Accuracy.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniket K. | Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur is very helpful because it makes managing expenses and travel much simpler and more organized. Instead of keeping physical receipts or manually filling out reports, everything can be handled digitally in one place. I can upload receipts right away, track expenses in real time, and submit reports quickly without confusion.

The biggest advantage is the time it saves. It cuts down on manual work for both employees and finance teams, and reimbursements tend to be faster because the approval process is more streamlined. Another major benefit is accuracy—since the system can automatically capture data from receipts and apply company policies, there are fewer errors and fewer policy violations.

It also offers better visibility. Managers and companies can track spending more easily, spot patterns, and keep costs under control. Overall, SAP Concur improves efficiency, reduces paperwork, and makes the entire expense process smoother and more transparent.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the least helpful aspects of SAP Concur is that it can feel overly complex and not very user-friendly, especially for new users. The interface isn’t always intuitive, so even basic tasks—like submitting an expense or fixing a report—can take longer than expected.

Another drawback is that the system can be slow at times, particularly when uploading receipts or moving between sections. That lag can be frustrating when you’re trying to complete a report quickly.

I’ve also run into occasional accuracy issues with receipt scanning and auto-filled data, which means entries still need to be reviewed and corrected manually. On top of that, strict policy controls can feel rigid, making it harder to submit exceptions even when they’re valid.

Overall, while SAP Concur is a powerful tool, it often requires a learning curve and a fair amount of patience to use efficiently.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a data analyst, I find that SAP Concur helps solve several practical business problems related to expense and travel management. One of the biggest issues it addresses is limited visibility into employee spending. Previously, tracking expenses across teams was scattered and often delayed; with SAP Concur, the data is centralized and available in near real time. This makes it easier to spot spending patterns and rein in unnecessary costs.

It also reduces manual errors and inconsistent data. Because expense entries are automated and guided by policy rules, the information becomes more dependable for analysis and reporting. As a result, the insights used for decision-making are higher quality and more consistent.

Compliance is another area where it helps. The system supports adherence to company policies, which can reduce fraud and policy violations. From a strategy perspective, having clean, structured, and actionable data also enables better budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.

 ### 18. SAP Concur Makes Expense Tracking Easy with Mobile Receipt Scanning and Card Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devansh Kedia . | SEO Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Having a strong mobile app and ExpenseIt receipt scanning capability makes SAP Concur particularly effective. With the ability to take pictures of receipts while on the move, managing expenses across several projects can save time significantly. I enjoy using the easy integration with my business credit card; this allows for transactions to be added automatically to the system, streamlining the process of entering data and matching receipts to the line items in my receipt journal every month.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Using the old desktop interface is very inconvenient when you are trying to break down expenses for multiple days, such as hotel stays. You would need to spend a few hours getting to know the specific drop down menus and acronyms for cost centers before you would be able to understand what each represents. In addition, sometimes the scanned receipt will not pick up the tax or total correctly, and this will turn into a compliance flag that will take additional time to resolve before submitting your expense report.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur centralizes all project expense tracking and the management of employee business travel. Traditional manual processes are replaced by automated expense reports. In addition to speeding up my reimbursements, SAP Concur makes certain my submissions comply with all company rules and gives me more time for business reporting instead of performing administrative functions.

 ### 19. Effortless Expense Management and Reimbursements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DINESH S. | IT Helpdesk Analyst with Sprinklr India Private Limited, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Managing expenses and submitting reimbursement claims has become a smooth and convenient experience thanks to the platform’s intuitive and user‑friendly interface. All the essential features are easy to locate, making the overall process faster and more efficient for users who need to track, submit, and monitor their expense reports. The layout is clean, and each step is clearly guided, which reduces errors and ensures that submissions are accurate.
In addition to the well‑designed interface, the customer support provided by SAP is highly responsive and reliable. Whenever assistance is needed—whether it’s related to navigating the platform, fixing an issue, or understanding a particular function—the support team is quick to provide helpful guidance. Their proactive approach significantly improves user confidence and minimizes downtime. Overall, the combination of an intuitive system and strong customer support makes managing reimbursements much easier and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is a powerful tool for managing expenses and reimbursements, there are a few areas where the experience can be improved. At times, the system can feel slightly slow, especially when loading receipts or switching between different sections of the platform. Some workflows require navigating through multiple screens, which can make simple tasks feel more time‑consuming than expected. The mobile app, while useful, occasionally struggles with accurately scanning receipts or syncing updates immediately. Additionally, certain error messages are not very descriptive, making it difficult to understand what went wrong or how to fix it without contacting support. Although the interface is overall user‑friendly, new users may initially find it a bit overwhelming due to the number of features and menu options available. With some refinements, particularly around speed and user guidance, the experience could be even smoother.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps streamline and simplify the entire expense management and reimbursement process. Instead of handling expenses manually or tracking receipts through spreadsheets, the platform centralizes everything in one place, making the workflow far more efficient. It allows quick uploading of receipts, automatic matching of expenses, and smooth submission of reimbursement claims. This significantly reduces the time spent on administrative tasks and minimizes errors that often occur with manual entry. The automated approval flow also ensures faster review and processing, which leads to quicker reimbursements. Additionally, Concur improves visibility and transparency by providing a clear record of all submitted and approved expenses. This not only helps in keeping finances organized but also ensures compliance with company policies. Overall, SAP Concur saves time, reduces effort, and makes the reimbursement process easier and more reliable.

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The thing that I love about this system is that all the travel/expense issues are in a single place. Submission of the expense claims and the tracking the approval along with managing all travel requests. It has a good visibility of expenses to the project manager, thereby avoiding frequent follow-up with teams and finance.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface is a little dated and non-intuitive when you first use it. It takes a while to figure out the way to work and get around different sections. Another issue is that some processes take a few steps which really slows things down, particularly if you have deadlines to meet.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes away the headaches of tracking expenses and communicating it manually all over the place. Everything is in one central location which will benefit time management and increases accuracy. It also helps in keeping better control of the projects budgets and approvals.

 ### 21. Gets the job done, but the UX could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sakshi S. | UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like most about SAP Concur is that it brings expense reporting and travel management into one place. Once you get used to it, submitting expenses, attaching receipts, and tracking approvals becomes pretty straightforward. The mobile app is helpful for capturing receipts on the go, which makes it easier to stay on top of things instead of doing everything at the end of the month. It also adds structure to what can otherwise be a messy, manual process.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The interface feels dated and not very intuitive, especially for first-time users. Some workflows take more steps than they should, and it’s not always obvious where to find certain actions or information. There are also occasional glitches or sync delays, which can be frustrating when you’re trying to submit something quickly. Overall, it gets the job done, but the experience could definitely be more streamlined.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the problem of managing expenses and reimbursements in a structured, trackable way. Instead of dealing with spreadsheets, emails, and manual approvals, everything is centralized and follows a clear workflow. For me, the main benefit is visibility. ### 22. Reliable and Efficient Expense Management Tool for Growing Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Archit J. | Cloud Security Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Having used SAP Concur for expense management over the years, I’d say its biggest advantage is how seamlessly it automates the entire expense reporting process. The mobile app makes it very easy to capture receipts on the go and submit claims without delays. Its integration with corporate credit cards also helps a lot, since transactions are imported automatically and that saves a significant amount of manual data entry.

On the approval side, the workflows feel smooth and transparent—managers can review and approve or reject claims within minutes. Finally, the built-in audit trail and policy compliance checks have noticeably reduced errors and helped ensure our finance team stays in control.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concur is a robust tool overall, the user interface can feel dated and not very intuitive, particularly for first-time users. The onboarding and implementation process is fairly complex and often requires dedicated IT support to get everything set up properly. At times, the OCR receipt-scanning feature misreads amounts or vendor names, which then forces manual corrections. Customer support response times can also be slow when the issue isn’t critical. On top of that, the licensing cost is on the higher side, which may not be the best fit for smaller organizations looking for a more budget-friendly option.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before SAP Concur, managing employee expenses was mostly a manual, paper-based process that took a lot of time and was prone to errors as well as policy violations. SAP Concur has completely changed that by digitizing and automating the full expense lifecycle, from submission to approval and reimbursement. As a result, it has significantly reduced the time our finance team spends on reconciliation and auditing, and it has made the process more consistent overall. Having real-time visibility into company spending has also helped us make better budgeting decisions. Overall, SAP Concur has improved accountability, enabled faster reimbursements for employees, and strengthened financial control across the organization.

**Reviewed by:** Alden R. | Client Finance Controller & CSR Council member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

It delivers clear visibility into spending, boosts efficiency for both employees and finance teams, and stands out as a mature, enterprise-grade solution that's continually improving with AI enhancements. It effectively streamlines and automates travel and expense management, saving users significant time while reducing errors and ensuring strong policy compliance. Features like mobile receipt capture, auto-preloading of card expenses with smart categorization, seamless integrations with other systems. **What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Persistent complaints highlight frequent glitches, poor performance, complex configurations requiring heavy admin support, and unreliable features (e.g., receipt processing errors or tricky navigation), which lead to low employee adoption, workflow disruptions, and ongoing frustration even in 2026.

What I dislike most about SAP Concur remains its outdated, clunky, and often frustrating user interface—frequently described as slow, laggy, buggy, and unintuitive, with long load times, inconsistent mobile/web experiences, and a steep learning curve that makes everyday tasks like expense submission or receipt uploads feel unnecessarily tedious and time-consuming.

By automating receipt capture, smart categorization, policy enforcement, approvals, and integrations—while leveraging AI like Joule for conversational help, predictive insights, and fraud detection—it streamlines everything from trip planning to reimbursement, providing real-time visibility, better cost control, stronger compliance, and reduced manual work.

 ### 30. Digitized Expense Management with Some Navigational Challenges

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MANI CHANDRA T. | Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

I appreciate that SAP Concur helps me with expense management by eliminating the need for messy tracking since everything is stored digitally. I find the auto expense creation feature especially helpful, as transactions automatically show up when using a company card, so there's no need to enter details manually. The built-in policy checks are also valuable; they instantly flag issues, like when an expense exceeds the allowed amount, which streamlines the process. Additionally, easy approvals make managing expenses more efficient.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

A cleaner, more user-friendly design would make a big difference. The better layout and simpler navigation would be appreciated. Also, the setup took time and planning, and while integrations are valuable, they slow things down initially.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur eliminates messy tracking by storing everything digitally and auto-generates expenses when using a company card. Built-in policy checks instantly flag issues, and it offers easy approvals, which simplifies expense management.

 ### 31. Efficient Expense Management with Room for UI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur daily to manage and submit my corporate expenses, mileage logs, and travel receipts. It helps streamline the entire approval workflow between employees and the finance department, keeping all digital invoices organized in one centralized platform. What I like most is the mobile receipt capture feature. Being able to just snap a photo of an invoice on my phone and have the system automatically scan the data saves a huge amount of manual tracking time. The automated corporate card integration works incredibly well. It pulls transactions directly into the system, and the automated policy-checking feature instantly flags any non-compliant expenses, which eliminates guesswork and prevents approval delays. Additionally, SAP Concur integrates with Microsoft Teams for instant notifications regarding expense approval statuses. It also works in the background with Workday to automatically sync employee profiles and cost centers, ensuring that data flows seamlessly between HR and finance.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The user interface feels a bit dated and clunky compared to modern apps, which can make navigation difficult. Sometimes the OCR misreads details on crumpled or faded receipts, requiring manual corrections. I would specifically like to see a more intuitive, modernized dashboard that reduces the number of clicks needed to create and submit an expense report. Implementing a drag and drop interface for uploading multiple receipts at once, along with cleaner, less cluttered menu navigation, would significantly improve the daily user experience.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage expenses and receipts, streamlining approval workflows. Its mobile receipt capture and corporate card integration save time with automatic policy checks.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We fully automated our expense reporting and invoice processing. What used to be a tasks that took hours, now only takes minutes. It's also allowed the finance team to work on more value added projects because the expense reporting and invoice processing is so automated.

 ### 34. Expense Reporting with Helpful AI

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I don't dislike much about it. It's part of the SAP software suite, which itself can be a bit of a downside depending on which products you're using. Overall, though, it could be better at importing receipts and parsing the receipt for the relevant information to fill out the expense report for you.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving my need to create expense reports for travel, events, and other corporate-related uses and getting that to finance folks so they can sort those out with minimal input from me.

 ### 35. Streamlines Invoice Management, But Integration Challenges Persist

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** B S. | Salesforce Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like Concur mainly because it makes it much easier to manage the finances tied to field-level service work. We sell hospital machinery—such as MRI and CT scanners—to large clients around the world, but selling isn’t the only part of the job. Once the product is sold, it still has to be installed at the client’s location, which means we need to send a technician on-site for the installation and then for ongoing maintenance as well.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Based on feedback from our key users, there are a few things we don’t like about SAP Concur. Overall, the interface feels outdated and clunky. Even submitting a straightforward expense—such as a technician’s hotel bill—requires too many steps and ends up feeling more complicated than it should.

The system also generates error messages that aren’t very clear, and it’s difficult to tell from the message alone what needs to be corrected. The explanations behind these errors should be more direct, more specific, and easier to understand. If SAP Concur addressed these issues, it would be better received and more appreciated by our users.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned above, SAP Concur helps solve a major challenge when it comes to managing finances for field-level service work. Technicians can submit their bills, and we can review the details, validate them, and then approve or reject each submission as needed.

When we arrive at a client location, it’s important to submit an invoice that clearly shows exactly what we’re charging for. For instance, if a technician is sent to a client site to repair an MRI scan machine, we need to bill for the technician’s labor, travel, and any parts required to complete the service. Without SAP Concur, I’m not sure how we would consistently manage, track, and document these expenses in a clear and organized way.

 ### 36. Effortless Expense Reporting with Handy OCR and Fast Approvals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan J. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur stands out because it removes a lot of the manual effort involved in filing expenses. I like how easy it is to capture receipts, especially with the mobile upload and automatic data extraction. The workflow is straightforward, so I can submit and track claims without getting lost in multiple screens. Another thing I appreciate is the clear visibility into policy guidelines—it reduces confusion and helps avoid mistakes. Overall, the platform saves time, keeps everything organized, and makes the expense process smooth for both employees and approvers.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Although the tool is useful, the interface could be more intuitive. Some actions require navigating through several menus when they should be available in fewer steps. The mobile app works well but occasionally feels slow during receipt scanning or uploading. A few features also depend heavily on internal configuration, so the experience is not always consistent. While these are not major blockers, improving the overall user flow would make the system even better.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps eliminate the typical back‑and‑forth involved in traditional expense filing. Instead of maintaining spreadsheets or collecting physical bills, the platform centralizes everything in one place. It also ensures claims follow company policies automatically, which reduces errors and cuts down approval time. For me, the biggest benefit is faster processing and better visibility— I can see exactly where my claim stands and how much reimbursement I’m expecting. It makes the entire process more transparent and efficient.

 ### 37. All-in-One Expense Management, But the UI and Navigation Need Streamlining

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilva M. | UX designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What I like best about SAP Concur is how it centralizes expense management, travel booking, and approvals in one system. It makes it easier to track expenses, submit receipts, and manage reimbursements without needing multiple tools. The mobile app is also helpful because you can quickly photograph receipts and upload them right away, which saves time and reduces the risk of losing them. Additionally, the automated approval workflows and policy checks help ensure expenses follow company rules, making the process smoother for both employees and finance teams.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

One of the main downsides of SAP Concur is that the interface can feel outdated and not very intuitive, especially for new users. Some tasks, like submitting expenses or navigating between different sections, can require too many steps. The system can also be slow at times, and error messages are not always very clear, which makes troubleshooting difficult. Additionally, customizing reports or finding specific information can take longer than expected, as the navigation and filtering options are not always straightforward.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps solve the problem of managing business travel and expenses in a structured and compliant way. Instead of tracking receipts, reimbursements, and approvals manually or across different tools, everything is handled in one system.

For me, the biggest benefit is saving time and keeping expenses organized. I can easily submit expenses, attach receipts, and track the approval status without needing to email finance or keep paper receipts. It also helps ensure that expenses follow company policies, since the system automatically checks rules and routes reports to the correct approvers. This makes the reimbursement process clearer and more transparent for both employees and the finance team.

 ### 38. SAP Concur Makes Expense Reporting Fast, Simple, and Compliant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The best thing about SAP Concur is how much time it saves for both users and administrators. The platform makes expense reporting incredibly simple: employees can snap a photo of a receipt, and Concur automatically reads it, categorizes it, and matches it to the correct transaction. As an administrator, I appreciate how seamless the workflow is—policy enforcement, approvals, and audit rules all run in the background, which reduces errors and keeps everything compliant without extra manual work.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

While SAP Concurs is a strong and reliable platform, the main challenge is that some areas of the interface can feel a bit dated or unintuitive for new users. Employees occasionally need extra guidance the first few times they submit expenses or when they’re trying to navigate the mobile app. Other than that , it works fine an does exactly what we need it to do.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From an admin perspective, the biggest benefit is the visibility and control it provides. Policy enforcement, audit rules, and reporting tools make it easier to stay compliant and identify issues early. It has reduced manual work, improved accuracy, and saved a significant amount of time for both users and the finance team. Overall, it has made our expense management process much more efficient and reliable.

 ### 39. Big Time-Saver for Travel Booking and Receipt Uploads

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim G. | Advisory Solution Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I use SAP Concur every week. I travel a lot for my job, and the Concur mobile application is how I book all my flights and hotels, as well as track my mileage to customer meetings. The ability to take a picture of a receipt and upload it for expenses is the biggest time-saver for me.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

I really wish Concur would scan my hotel receipts and automatically break down the itemized section for me. I always have to go in and itemize my hotel stay myself, including the room charge and taxes. I don’t understand why Concur doesn’t do this automatically.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Concur manages all my travel and expense needs in one place, which is a huge benefit and a real time-saver for me. The faster I can submit an expense, the better my life is. It also makes my life easier that I can take pictures of the receipts and have them instantly uploaded so I can add them to an expense.

One drawback of SAP Concur is that the interface can sometimes feel complex and not very user-friendly for new users. Expense submission and approvals may take multiple steps, which can slow down the process. Also, occasional syncing or mobile app issues can make receipt uploads or updates slightly inconvenient.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the benefit is that I can easily submit expenses, upload receipts, and track reimbursement status in one system, saving time and making the process more transparent. It also ensures faster approvals and better visibility of company spending.

 ### 41. SAP Concur Streamlines Travel and Expense Management with Fast, Automated Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akhil S. | Senior Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

What stands out most about SAP Concur is how it simplifies travel and expense management in one place. It automates expense reporting, captures receipts easily (often via mobile), and integrates with corporate travel bookings—making reimbursements faster, reducing manual work, and giving better visibility into company spending.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur user interface can feel complex and outdated, especially for new users. Submitting expenses sometimes requires multiple steps, and occasional syncing or receipt-scanning issues can slow down the process. The mobile app can also feel less responsive compared to newer expense tools.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur is solving the complex and time-consuming process of managing business travel expenses and reimbursements. It automates expense reporting, receipt capture, and approval workflows, which reduces manual data entry and errors. This benefits me by saving time, ensuring faster reimbursements, and giving better visibility into expenses, making it easier to track spending and stay compliant with company policies.

 ### 42. Solid Integration, But Needs More Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I really like the integrated database of SAP Concur. The native integration with FICO is something I consider valuable, as it simplifies travel expense management processes and makes them more reliable. Additionally, the integration with the finance module is a highlight, as it prevents manual errors, parallel controls, and rework. I found the initial setup of SAP Concur quite simple, which was an advantage for starting to use the system quickly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The options, the lack of some resources regarding the rates and travel benefits by employee group, and the non-Fiori UX. There could be more customization options or specifics that can be added or integrated with demands coming from modules like MM, for example, regarding the management of travel supplier contracts without the need to involve third-party companies to handle this administration.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur to manage employee travel expenses. It offers an integrated database, a streamlined and reliable process, avoids manual errors, parallel controls, and rework. The native integration with FICO is a great advantage.

 ### 43. Easy Expense Approvals and Travel Booking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sudarshan H. | Senior Member of Technical Staff, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It’s easy to submit expenses and get them approved. It’s also great for searching flights, hotels, and cabs when I’m traveling for business. Overall, travel management feels really straightforward with it, and it makes my business trips much less of a hassle. App center is also really nice space for exploring options.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The app’s AI features feel limited right now. It may be useful for creating an itinerary, but I’d like to see stronger AI capabilities overall, especially to make report approvals faster and smoother. I’d also appreciate more integrations in the App Center, since having additional options there would make the app more flexible.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me search for flights, hotels, and cabs when I’m traveling for business. The app center also makes it easy to explore different available options and integrations, so I can choose what works best for my needs.

 ### 44. Robust Travel and Expense Solution with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chirag S. | Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I love SAP Concur's travel module. It's really good because it has so many integrated partners allowing me to book flights, hotels, and other services directly. Additionally, the AI features are impressive; I can scan receipts using my phone, and it automatically categorizes items and associates costs in the expense entry. This is a very good feature. The integration of partners like airline and hotel services, along with the ability to compare prices directly within the platform, enhances the experience significantly.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

There are some features on the analytics side that could be improved, specifically the reporting side. Right now, there's a lack of dashboard feasibility, and if we want intelligent automation, that can be improved. The current Cognos reporting is fine, but on visualization and analytics purposes, there could be more. The budget side configuration also requires more flexibility, as it takes a lot of time to set up.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use SAP Concur for expense management, handling travel plans, and processing employee expenses systematically, reducing the manual process, and providing budget control and refund flexibility.

 ### 45. Easy Navigation, Simple Format, and Flexible Profiles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** olga m. | Administrative Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

Navigating is easy, format is simple and being able to work for under a different profile for others makes things work easy. It saves time when booking all travel aspects from flights, car rentals and lodging. It allows to organize preferences and frequent flyer information, emergency contact and all other important information if ever needed. Allows to view fare prices and make comparisons. Accurately allows to view expense reports.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It can get a bit confusing when trying to break down expenses if the initial dates can’t be changed. The navigation also feels overly complex when I’m trying to correct or edit travel requests to match the actual expense reports, which can be frustrating.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us comply accurately with our organization’s policies and procedures, which reduces errors in submissions. It also uses tools to capture the correct information and keep it free from mistakes.

 ### 46. SAP Concur Boosts Spending Control and Automation for Smarter Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vidhi S. | Accounting Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

The biggest upside of SAP Concur is control + automation of company spending, which leads to time savings, better compliance, and smarter financial decisions.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur has some drawbacks such as a complex and non‑intuitive interface, which can make it difficult for new users to learn and navigate. Many users also report slow performance, too many steps for simple tasks, and occasional technical issues like login or receipt upload problems.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur helps solve key business problems like manual and time‑consuming expense reporting, lack of visibility into company spending, and delays in approvals and reimbursements. It replaces paper-based or disconnected systems with automated workflows, improving accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. It also helps control costs by enforcing company policies and providing real-time insights into spending, allowing organizations to make better financial decisions and reduce operational inefficiencies.

 ### 47. Easy to Use with Best-in-Class Receipt Capture and Fast Approvals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela R. | Enterprise Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It’s very easy to use, and the in-app receipt capture is the best. It also connects to my corporate card, which makes expense submission simple. Approvals are very fast.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

It does have a lot of mandatory fields to fill out and it can become burdensome. I also dislike calculating the tax, I travel a lot so the state taxes and conversion of it is a pain.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses for employees who travel would be helpful, since paying upfront feels unnecessary. There should be more corporate cards available, but then I guess SAP Concur wouldn’t exist.

 ### 48. SAP Concur Brings Structure and Clarity to Expense Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali A. | IT Support Specialist, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

SAP Concur centralize and automates expense management and, in addition, has a solid and helpful mobile app. I can easily scan receipts on the go and submit any expense quickly, track and be able to track approvals right away. The platform integrates well with our finance system, which greatly reduces manual data entry.
I also appreciate the compliance and policy enforcement built into the system. It automatically flags out-of-policy expenses, helping maintain corporate standards and reducing back‑and‑forth with finance. Overall, Concur brings structure and clarity to processes that are usually chaotic.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

Despite its strengths, SAP Concur has a few drawbacks. Some parts of the interface feel dated and unintuitive, especially for first-time users. The mobile app is convenient, but it can occasionally be slow or glitchy particularly when uploading receipts or syncing data. Customization options often require admin involvement, which makes simple changes feel more complex than they should be. And if your organization has many expense rules, the system can feel overly strict, which can lead to delays in submissions.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur solves the challenge of managing expense reporting and approvals in one unified platform. Instead of dealing with scattered receipts, spreadsheets, and manual approvals, everything is streamlined through automated workflows. I have saved a lot of time using this app and it has helped me to not only sort out my receipt but also gives me fully visibility regarding overall expenses.
Ultimately, SAP Concur reduces administrative stress and ensures expenses are processed accurately and efficiently, allowing me to focus more on higher-value work rather than tedious paperwork.

 ### 49. SAP Concur: Streamlined Expense and Travel Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben B. | Director, Supply Chain Digital Capabilities, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

I like that SAP Concur allows me to book my hotel, car, and flights together, all tied to my company information and credit card. The expense reporting feature is helpful as it pulls in all my T&E credit card expenses and allows me to categorize them for submission, and it pays the credit card on time. The new user interface is a big improvement for the travel side, making it more modern and similar to other travel sites. The mobile app is pretty good; it allows me to take pictures of receipts and attach them to an expense report, which is a key need for me. It also lets me approve expense reports while traveling. Overall, booking travel is much easier with the new UI.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

The mobile app should make taking pictures of receipts easier. One click would be preferable. Currently, when I take a picture of a receipt, it automatically creates an expense transaction in Concur, resulting in a duplicate entry when the actual expense comes in from the credit card interface. I would prefer an easy way to attach the receipt to the receipt picture repository instead.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SAP Concur lets me book travel with my company info and credit card efficiently. It streamlines expense reporting by pulling T&E expenses for quick categorization and timely credit card payments. The mobile app simplifies receipt handling and expense approvals.

 ### 50. Easy Expense Submissions with Smooth, One-Time Bank Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya D. | Software Engineer II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about SAP Concur?**

It’s easy to submit any expense request, and I don’t have to worry about the approval process. The bank account integration is also a one-time setup, so there’s no need to redo it or deal with extra rework later.

**What do you dislike about SAP Concur?**

During my first-time setup and initial navigation on the website, I wasn’t sure which values I should enter to get the right approvals. For example, I’m unclear about which expense category to use for lunch, and which one to select for a phone bill reimbursement. I also don’t know whether that phone bill reimbursement is covered under my company’s reimbursement policy.

**What problems is SAP Concur solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Concur helps solve the challenge of employee reimbursements in a huge organization. It does a good job up to a point, but it isn’t always easy to use, especially because large organizations often have multiple types of expense reports to manage.
