**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam is a one stop shop for everything rostering and resources that I need to take care of the employees in my business. Covers rostering, leave management, timeclocks, task checklists, training and SOPs.

It has now become our staffs daily go to, supporting them in their role.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The pricing structure is a little frustrating wiht key (and I would consider0 basic features spread across the three modules meaning you really need to subscribe to all three. That being said i do feel our organisations still receives significant value from our subscription.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The way we use connecteam allows me to consolidate what was previously multiple separated systems into a single location and login for my staff to access. It has become our central source of truth.

Set up was quite easy, support team is great, user instructions/videos/help is really clear.   Solves lots of our problems (time cards, location/visibility, payroll, documentation).  Glad we made the change!

Our team is global, so managing overnight shifts across time zones introduces some confusion.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam lets me see  where my remote, disparate team members are and when they clock in.  The timecard allows us to more easily and accurately pay our team for the hours they work.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

What we like best about Connecteam is how seamlessly it keeps our entire team connected and organized. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for everyone to stay updated on daily operations, access important manuals through the knowledge base, and communicate efficiently whether they’re in the office or in the field. It has truly streamlined our workflows and made our operations more cohesive and professional.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

There’s very little we dislike about Connecteam. If anything, there’s the occasional small learning curve when rolling out new features to the team, but the platform’s intuitive design and excellent customer support make it easy to overcome. Overall, the benefits far outweigh any minor challenges.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam has solved several major challenges for us, especially around communication, organization, and information access. Before using it, keeping everyone informed and ensuring important documents like equipment manuals were accessible was time-consuming and inconsistent. Now, with Connecteam, everything is centralized  daily updates, scheduling, equipment manuals, and company resources are all at our team’s fingertips. It has improved our efficiency, reduced miscommunication, and saved us countless hours, allowing us to focus more on serving our customers and growing our business.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like that is it easily accessible from the app for the emoployee.  They can make changes when they forget to log in or out.  As the bookkeeeper doing payroll, I can easily approve or disapprove changes.  I also have one employee who does not use the app.  I have him text me his starting and ending time and I input them in Connecteam.  It is easy and fast to do so.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The only thing I don't like about Connecteam is that we didn't start using is sooner.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is saving me from counting and double counting how many hours each employee works each day.  Connecteam figures in out for me and adds up the hours so I just input the totals.

We used to screen shot our technician's schedules every day. This is much easier as it allows them to see their schedule in advance.

At this moment, I have no concerns about Connecteam.

It solves the problem of schedule changes being confusing. Our schedule changes daily. We are in the business of HVAC service, so some customers are priority over others. We have to move things around all the time and this app gives up the ability to do so.

I find Connecteam extremely easy to use, which makes it simple to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently. Adding a new user to the platform is straightforward, which saves time and mitigates potential onboarding hassles. I think the UI is very clear and very concise. It makes it really easy to navigate through the app and do the stuff you want to do.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I think it's a bit text message heavy. Usually I don't really work with text messages and I think they are kind of obsolete. You should be able to do it with email only.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

People were coming late into the office and it was hard to document it properly. Connecteam solves this by documenting everything really thoroughly and it is easy to create a file.

it allows for rotas to be made in a organised and efficient way

Have to use the online software on a computer to copy and paste the rotas if they are the same most weeks.

The HR side, the tracking for PTO and Sick time is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The Jobs feature is something we definitely need and use, but it is very hard to use sometimes. I do not fully understand it still.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer manually track PTO and Sick leave. We use to use excel sheets for our timecards, this creates a secure way of tracking time accurately.

The timesheet is easy to use. The approval process is easy and email notification is great, so i know when go into export into QBO

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

if we can have an option to deduct lunch hours on certain employees if they work more than 8 hour day. Currently deducting the lunches and breaks in qbo, but would like to do it connect team so it is visible to the employee as well. 
I would like to have more training on other modules - forms and training but havent found the time yet.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam has helped us bridge the gap in our time expenditure logging. We can now easily create detailed and accurate summaries of project engagement. Setting up was easy and well-documented. The whole team loves being able to switch their shifts with just a few taps in the app, making daily use a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

We'd love to see better integration with calendar services like Google, which would enable us to track and coordinate our time-off more effectively.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been struggling with logging time spent working on certain projects and tasks. We have used Excel sheets, which could get messy at times with people not filling them on time and then forgetting how much time they spent working on a task. Connecteam allows them to seamlessly switch between their designated operations, and the rest is already taken care of. As a manager, it allows me to monitor team capacity and have a detailed view of how the time on the clock is being spent, all in one place.

This app is so easy to use for both me and my employees!  No more complicated spreadsheets or google forms. I love how easy it is to personalize for my business - it makes it feel like a custom app.  This app saves me and my employees time every day.

I like Connecteam because it’s easy for everyone to learn to use. It’s easy for small businesses, it’s easy to edit times & schedules, it makes payroll easy, it’s reliable & it helps keep employee information accurate & up to date. It’s also nice that it’s accessible from laptop & phone.

I can’t think of much because I enjoy it all so far. I guess one thing is not being able to clear the milestone posts on your front page. They take up lots of room. But that’s picky of me lol

Payroll & peoples timesheets. Keeping employees held accountable & showing accurate time punches.

The Scheduling, time management, ease of use and customer support.

the only downsides I think so far are only little things like being able to block out full days on the schedule or having more holidays in the updates feature.

It modernized our time clock system and scheduling system. It allows us to have all of our forms and packets up for new and existing employees. The PTO system is also really helpful with not manually changing how much time off people have.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

As someone who's new to the workforce, I've found Connecteam to be very user and easy to navigate . The platform has made it simple and straightforward to request time off, which has been a big help in getting comfortable with the processes. Another feature I like is having the office directory on there; it's not a big thing but I just like how I can look at one app to manage these.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Honestly, since this is my first experience using such platform, I don't really have anything to compare it to. However, based on my usage, there hasn't been anything I dislike yet.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think normally, requesting time off can involve multiple steps with unclear procedures, which delays the process. With this being kind of a one-stop shop, it has definitely made communication better and virtually released the distress of requesting.

Without a doubt, Connecteam is a complete suite for managing a small business team.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I think the one issue is the UI design for changing setting in the arch section. It is not consistent and requires a lot of digging and clicking. They try to use an elegant manu er where it could be more robust and quicker to manage settings. Some of the features in setting could have longer descriptions and be more robust. For example the feature to input absence policies could have a link to a document that is in the database section in which the company policies could be uploaded. Selecting features for these policies is functional for the code of the software but having that addition would be beneficial for the user.

Keeping all employees time clocks, documentation and providing a centralized communication center

Ease of use.  Multiple functions - scheduling, messaging, chat, etc.  Use it on a daily basis.

Have to remember to hit shift & enter to go to the next line in chat.

It is a great communication tool.  We have over 100 employees and multiple departments.  Connecteam provides the communication we need within our organization.

I love the clean interface and how easy it is to use. We have under 20 employees and love that they can clock in and out from their own devices and it is geo-fenced. We are new to the software as of January 2025.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

It's not necessarily a dislike, just a wishlist. I wish that it wasn't as much click through to get to the timesheets to approve. It would be nice to have a way to "favorite" certain pages to have easier access. Setup was a little frustrating  adding the different clock in options that didn't all save the first time and are now out of the preferred order for staff as they clock in. It's managable and seemed to be more of a glitch than anything to actually do with the software. So, minor complaint.

Super easy to use platform. Reminds me of typical social media sites.

Nothing so far! It's been much better than our previous platform.

Communication between employees is so much more simple. We don't have to rely on people checking text messages. We can also update schedules very simply and staff can release shifts easily.

Connect Team offers great features and is very user-friendly. I also find the pricing to be reasonable.

Connect Team lacks a feature to automatically clock users out at the end of their shifts, so I have to manually clock people out myself.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I really like how easy Connecteam is to understand. I appreciate the graphics and really enjoy the simplistic and beautiful way it looks. It's very user-friendly and quick to implement and learn. We really like the software.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would really like more AI integration in Connecteam, such as suggesting scheduling shifts based on trends. I also wish there was more flexibility around reporting.

I use Connecteam to save time managing staff scheduling, keeping communications centralized. It helps us track staff availability, hours, and control timesheets.

We use Connecteam to manage employee hours, scheduling, and communication, and I find all of these features easy to use. Implementation was simple, and the customer support has been amazing. We use it every day!

So far, my only complaint is the pay-per-seat model that applies after 30 users.

Previously, we managed driver hours and PTO using spreadsheets and paper, but with Connecteams, we have automated all of our employee paperwork.

Easy to add users, takes some getting used to, generally easy to use. Shareable schedules. We use it everyday for our small business, and the free plan as good enough for up to ten people.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Unable to color code users separately for a specific job, it looks like the only color coding available is by job. This means a shared schedule for a particular job creates confusion as it looks like everything is one colour, even though they have five users working with them. It would be good to visually see who is going and when rather than having to look for it.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like all of our communications and forms going to one place.  Scheduling is easy and we have it so it's very flexible for our business needs.  So far, we've mostly had positive feedback from employees.  It's been easy to set up and customize for our company and employees have been able to pick up on how to use and are getting better with using it everyday since they need to be in the app to clock in and out anyway.  Customer support has been helpful and the AI chat feature actually interprets what we are asking to give relatable answers.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I would like to be able to get notifications where you can adjust the sound  and length of sound, especially for items like the help desk.  We all wear many hats and if we are in front of several computer screens and have our phone beside us, somehow we can still miss a help desk chat coming in.  I don't need my phone volume up for everything, but would like to be able to increase it for notifications from Connecteam.  Also, if lines on the job schedule between employees, it would help the eyes see that grid separating the employees.

Communication between those in the field vs. the office.  Time card/Time Sheet submissions.

We like that employees can submit their timesheets at any point because of our employees being part-time and not always here when it's time to submit them.

For what we use it for the only downside is that one notification doesn't work properly so I have to close and re-open the app.

We were tracking employees' time on paper and they weren't always turning it in on time which was making the turnaround time for payroll difficult and stressful at times. The problem for us was that our part-time employees weren't always on-site when it was time to turn them in. 

It has also helped us to get the time tracking info to our payroll company more easily because we recently switched from an on-site bookkeeper to remote.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I love the ease of use of Connecteam & the integrations it offers (QBO Payroll import, Gusto, etc). We started testing it for a time tracking software, but our first client who used it ended up adding several other features. That said client also uses it for onboarding, time off tracking, and internal company updates. The last feature is especially useful since the client has multiple locations.

I wish the export to QBO Payroll correctly split out the overtime versus the regular pay.

Our client using Connecteam needed a time tracking software but also needed a way to communicate company updates across locations. This was the perfect platform for both of those things since all employees were set up on the mobile app.

I love that this is an all-in-one app. I like the fact that I can open one app for literally everything from clocking in and being able to easily edit my time to communicating with my whole team effortlessly.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

The timeclock is very intuitive and allows users to easily track their hours worked for a given day or a pay period.  Users are easily able to request changes to a clock in or clock out time if they miss punching in or out.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The time off system can be tricky to manage if you aren't careful.  If a user requests a range of days as time off the software will include weekends as paid days off by default which needs to be manually corrected afterwards.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our employees to see their hours worked in real time instead of having to go to someone in HR to pull it up for them, essentially saving two people time.  It also makes our processes more paperless, as we don't need to print out timecards for employees to review at the end of each pay period.

I searched high and low for an app that would help my employees clock their time on a daily basis. I so appreciate their new added feature of recording Days Off too. It was exactly what I was looking for and more. It’s user friendly, fun to use, and helps our small non profit be accountable with our time and keep accurate records. All our staff have differing work hours and this has solved so many headaches. The free version had the things we needed included.

I love having everything for our business in one place. It's streamlined so many of our processes and also made our onboarding procedure seamless meaning all new team members receive the same orientation. I found it really easy to setup and the customer service from the beginning was incredibly supportive.

The only downsides are some of the internal processes which I can see are being voted on in the 'Feature Request' section which give me hope that some of these things will be updated in future.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Using Connecteam has made a big difference for both our crew and our management team.

Employees really like being able to quickly and easily view their own clock-ins and clock-outs right from the app. It gives them confidence that their time is being tracked accurately, and that nothing is slipping through the cracks. It’s eliminated the guesswork and built trust.

From a management perspective, handling missed punches is straightforward and quick. We can easily make corrections when needed without slowing down the day. Plus, pulling time reports is simple and saves us a ton of time during payroll. Connecteam has helped us streamline time tracking across the board.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

If we had one complaint, it’s that the default date format isn’t what most of our American users are used to. It can be confusing at first, but it’s a minor issue compared to how well the rest of the platform works.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before switching, we were spending hours every pay period chasing down missed punches, manually pulling reports, and double-checking time entries for accuracy. It was frustrating and inefficient.

Since implementing Connecteam, those problems are gone. Employees can easily view their clock-ins and clock-outs, which gives them confidence that all their time is being captured correctly. On the management side, handling missed punches is quick and intuitive, and reporting is streamlined and reliable.
