**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist and also manage a small homeopathy clinic. What I like most about Connecteam is that it keeps both patient-related work and team coordination in one place. I can clearly see which tasks are open and which are completed, so nothing gets missed. I use it to track diet planning work, review pending cases, and manage follow-ups. At the same time, I can assign work to staff members and see who is handling what. This makes managing a small team much less stressful during busy clinic hours.

I also like that scheduling, time tracking, and communication are available inside the same system. It helps me manage staff timing, check availability, and keep updates in one place instead of calling or messaging everyone separately.
It was easy to start using and did not require complicated setup. I use it regularly, and it fits well into my daily clinic workflow without making things complicated.

Overall, it helps me stay organized and manage both patient work and team work more smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

When I open a task to update it, it takes a moment longer to load before I can type anything. One thing I have noticed is that sometimes notifications come in groups instead of one by one. If multiple tasks are updated close to each other, the alerts show together, and it is easy to miss a small detail unless I open the app and check properly.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my daily clinic work, there are many small things happening together like patient follow-ups, diet plan work, and staff coordination. It is easy for small tasks to get delayed when the day gets busy. Sometimes I had to check different places just to see what was pending.
With Connecteam, I can see all tasks in one place and know what still needs attention. I can also see which staff member is handling which work. This reduces confusion and saves time during busy hours. It has made daily work more clear and manageable for me. I don’t have to depend only on memory or scattered messages anymore.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I have been using connectteam from last three years and this is the platform that always help us in managing our overall staffs and other employees that work on fields in different part of the country and in remote areas. This is the platform that help us in assigning tasks and also checking the attendance of our team members by giving them real time instructions.

We have been one of the oldest user of this platform and when we had a small number of team members that time using this platform was quite expensive for us but gradually when dorto grew bigger and the number of a staff also increased then it became a great tool for us to manage each and every thing related to our work culture and streamline daily operations of our business.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecteam also make sure that daily operations of our company is being executed properly. As dortoservices is a completely service based startup, so we need tools like these to manage our day to day workforce challenges in the organization and manage all the tasks and assignments and ti-do list on time.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam is user friendly and very easy to learn.  It was nice to have the walk-through when you start using it but it's almost unncessary, it's that easy!

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I wish there was a little more of an audit trail for the meetings but I'm not sure that the would be helpful for everyone.  We just like to know who booked or moved or cancelled meetings.  If they are cancelled then we don't see them anymore.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have meetings or calls that needed to get done and staff was responsible getting them done, with little oversight.  These meetings and calls are now scheduled for them and can be tracked in real time. Everyone loves it, As management, we like to see who, how many, etc.  Staff likes the structure and knowing what is ahead.  Plus when they are scheduled, there is a better chance of the person on the other end of the phone actually answering.

Connecteam is really easy to use and makes managing a team much less stressful. I like that scheduling, time tracking, and communication are all in one place, so nothing slips through the cracks. It feels like it’s designed for real people doing the work, not just for managers. Overall, it saves time and helps keep everyone on the same page.

While Connecteam is very useful, it can feel a bit limited if you need advanced reporting or complex integrations. Some features take time to set up properly, especially the first time. Connecteam is a like a workforce tool that helps us in managing all of our staffs attendance and time of their incoming and outgoing. This software helps us in assigning them day to day work and regulate everyday challenges for our business. The software interface is little Complex but after proper training it became more easy and efficient.

All the work that we assign on connecteam are stored on their server and the main challenge that I face while working on this software is that most of our team members work on the remote areas of our country and when they are not connected to a strong internet connection then all the information about through this software does not reach out to them properly on time. So, this is something that always bothers us.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I use Connecteam to schedule my team for my event planning business, and it makes it much easier for me to see who can work. It's seamless for my team to know when they are scheduled. I love the ability to keep shifts open for my team to bid on. With my event planning business, I can put the events in, indicate how many assistants I need, and it allows my team to look at the date and location of the event and bid on it if they're interested in working. The initial setup of Connecteam was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

There have been a couple of things that I couldn't easily find (and still haven't), but it doesn't outweigh the positives. Some team members aren't qualified to bid on some shifts, but I can't figure out how to filter that.

I find Connecteam makes scheduling a breeze, replacing my spreadsheet, and shows who can work. It makes it seamless for my team to know their shifts.

Connecteam is the software that manages all of our staff who are working on the fields. This app works like a attendance sheet in which our company where staff punch in there login time and punch out there logout time. This feature help us in calculating every month the total number of hours that they work in our company. It is a great tool for managing employees in a company.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

Whenever I track location of our employees that have logged in their profile through this application. I have noticed that it shows incorrect gps data and location also we everyday face this issue and still now it has not been solved by the developers. It needs a very strong internet connection to show real time data of the employees

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall connect team has been one of the most engaging software for our business because it helps us in conducting meetings aligning day to day work and managing all the attendance of employees working in our company. This is the tool that also has to do list to write all the important notes that is being discussed during the meeting so it is a great workspace for business according to my experience.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I like how Connecteam streamlines my business. When I get a job, I simply post the shift, and my artists can claim it without me needing to text message everyone. I find it easy-to-understand and appreciate that both I and my artists can use it through the mobile app.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The mobile app is pretty glitchy and doesn't have all the same features as the web browser. For instance, I can't duplicate a shift on the mobile app, so setting up a shift is best to do on the web browser, which isn't necessarily convenient. There was a lot of learning curve and confusion around the icons and symbols used. It's very difficult to see if a shift was actually claimed or not, and if it was published. The initial setup was extremely challenging.

Connecteam streamlines scheduling by preventing the need to text message everyone. I can post shifts, and my contractors can select them, which triples my sales in one year. I can also see if an artist double booked themselves.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connectteam has been so easy to learn, especially since I am not generally IT savvy. It was quick to pick up and use, the app on my mobile device has been a great way to get quick notifications if I am not in my office. Its easy for the team to quickly clock in and out for the day and sends notification for approval when these shifts are recorded. It has an easy to follow process with icons that quickly explain which task you are needing to do. I love the reminders in the morning for our team "its time to clock-in" this eliminates missed shifts and missed clock-ins. I has been great and our team uses it for many things. We use it all day long to communicate between staff and the alerts pop up real time so we can respond timely with each other.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I am not aware of a desk top app. The desktop app would be beneficial to quickly access it every morning instead of logging in through a browser. Just a little quicker access. Otherwise it has been great.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows our team quickly see staffing needs if there are sick calls, it helps with shift scheduling and clock in and out times to see who is still in our office. Its a quick way to communicate when we are not in the same location. Its a great way to store information that needs to be shared across our team. I like that it is easily usable on the app and in the office on the desktop, the transition between the two options is helpful and makes it easier to quickly navigate.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

We needed to have a timeclock for multiple employees who work at multiple locations, and we are in California, so there was a compliance piece as well.  Connecteam  hit all the buttons for us, and then also had added bonuses of time off tracking, forms, surveys...tons of extra HR products that just set it above the software we were currently using. Customer support has been great and the onboarding was easy.  Our employees were used to the system same day.

Honestly at this point, I haven't found anything.

Our previous time tracker was not California compliant, so that was our main issue.  It was solved and then we had all the bonus assets

I find Connecteam incredibly useful for chatting and updating clients and making quick announcements whenever needed. The mobile-friendly aspect of the software is amazing for our staff working in the field. The feature of clock in and clock out, along with GPS tracking, is unique and valuable for ensuring our employees' attendance is real and for tracking the field team's specific work locations. The initial setup was quite smooth and simple, which I really appreciated.

The reports and analytics generated by Connecteam can be better because the detailed reports are not enough to understand the market needs, making the software less efficient for our business.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

The support and customer service provided when needed are excellent. Like with any new app, it takes some time to get used to, the scheduling feature is brilliant. Our staff really enjoy using the app and chats, and it helps keep everyone organized in one place, so we no longer have to rely on texts, WhatsApp, or emails scattered everywhere. We plan to use the voucher section to offer rewards and incentives to our staff in 2026. Since our business is new and busy, we still have a lot to learn, and I think it will take a few months to fully understand everything the system can do, as it offers so many features.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

Connecteam has been a game changer for our business. It has massively improved how we schedule our workers and completely streamlined our payroll process. The time clock feature alone has saved us a significant amount of money; we can now accurately track representatives’ exact hours and ensure shifts are worked in full. This solved a major issue we previously faced when staff were simply invoicing us for their time, which often led to early departures going unnoticed.

A large portion of our workforce is made up of students, and historically this role was quite informal, something they could pick up easily to earn a bit of extra cash. Since implementing Connecteam, however, the entire operation feels far more professional. The structure, visibility, and communication tools have helped our workers feel like they are part of a serious, well-run company rather than just a casual side job. This has had a really positive impact on engagement and accountability.

On top of the product itself, the Connecteam staff have been outstanding. Their support team, along with the AI assistant, made the transition incredibly smooth and stress-free. The onboarding process was clear, efficient, and well supported every step of the way. Overall, Connecteam has delivered real operational and financial benefits, and we couldn’t be happier with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

In terms of areas for improvement, we haven’t quite managed to get our reps fully engaged with the in-app group chats yet. They tend to be more responsive on WhatsApp, so we haven’t made as much use of the chat feature as we originally expected. It may simply be a change-management issue on our side rather than a limitation of the platform itself.

Another small improvement would be around payroll setup. It would be extremely helpful if workers could enter their bank details during the sign-up process and have these details automatically appear on the exported payroll PDF. Currently, adding bank details to payroll each month takes a bit of extra manual time.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Connecteam, we managed almost everything through Google Sheets. While this worked at a very basic level, it quickly became clunky, time-consuming, and difficult to scale. Scheduling, tracking hours, and managing payroll were all manual processes, which left a lot of room for errors and inconsistencies. Over time, this also led to trust issues, particularly when pay disputes arose between us and employees due to unclear or inaccurate records.

Connecteam has completely centralised and professionalised these processes. Scheduling is now clear and transparent, time tracking is accurate and verifiable, and payroll is based on real data rather than estimates or invoices. This has removed ambiguity, reduced disputes, and rebuilt trust on both sides. Employees can clearly see their shifts and logged hours, and we have full confidence that payroll is accurate and fair.

Overall, Connecteam has replaced a fragmented, trust-based system with a structured, data-driven one. The result has been better efficiency, improved accountability, fewer disputes, and a much stronger working relationship between management and staff.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

The absolute ease of use and customer response time. Easy to train the team, the app never fails so I do not experience any downtime. I love they introduced the free for under X amount of users, as any business can go up and down depending on demand. I love that Connecteam works with this and you don't have to go looking for something 'cheaper' to tie you over.
I also love that Connecteam takes on feedback to strenghten their business. I have seen many suggested ideas implemented in to the app, even if it is not quite ready for my own business, it's good to know they have multiple options.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I do not have a downside. I have used Connecteam for years and no plans to leave. If I was growing my business, I would chat with them first before finding alternative options. Fab team

Without Connecteam scheduling would be difficult, especially for the speed my cleaners need to work.

It's infrequent to find a business that considers small businesses the way Connecteam does. It's an amazing system that allows us access to, to run our small teams with features that are helpful to us. I find their system extremely easy to use and navigate, I love the abundance of features too. Support and help articles are also really great!

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

I do believe there are some limitations for notifications, more flexibility would be awesome. I would love to see more automation capabilities. Again, as a small business, with few hands doing many different roles, this would be super helpful. I would like to see the knowledge base / resources work similarly to the help articles so employees can search.

**What problems is Connecteam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency! Since this is a one stop shop, I dont have to use several different services. This makes it easy for me and my team.

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I have not used the the total platform for Connecteam to date.  Mostly I have used the scheduling part of the program and I have found it easy to use.  I can use it with payroll however my co-workers have issues of putting in their time sheets so that is still a work in progress.  Shortly I will be assigning tasks that need to be completed to each individual as well.  I do like the forms feature where I can put several things into the knowledge base and the employees can look at what has been uploaded as they need to.  To date customer support has been great.  I normally can't participate in their web meetings, however, they do send me the recordings of what they talked about which I review and find very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The downside for me is that it has a huge learning curve.  With someone who is time limited like myself learning each aspect of the program takes a lot of time.  The more I use it the more I remember.  I just wished I had more free time in my day to learn more of the program that can help me outside of the scheduling program which is my main focus

What I like most about Connecteam is that it consolidates many of the features I need to manage teams into one place: time tracking, scheduling, communication, and task tracking. It is easy to use for the employees, and at one glance, I can see who's working, what's been completed, and communicate changes.

Some features feel a bit basic compared to more specialized tools. This also takes a little time to explore all the options and to set things up the way you want. A few UI parts could be smoother.

The ability for our remote, deskless employees to connect and interact as a team, rather than feeling isolated in their partnerships.
We haven't introduced the bigger features (rostering & timesheets) yet, but they are highly anticipated!

Also, moving away from paper forms, meaning life is easier for our team, and also contributing less waste into the environment.

The reporting, there isn't much flexibility when it comes to reporting on things like time off. I've asked for product improvements to be submitted for development work which i'm hoping get actioned quickly to make life a little easier for us!

**What do you like best about Connecteam?**

I employ a small team of PA/Carers, and I use Connecteam to schedule their shifts, add tasks that they'll do whilst working those shifts.  I love that I can clearly see set out each week on my PC (or use the app if I want to take a quick look at it) who's working and what time they will be in.  I can add Quick Tasks as and when needed, and see who has completed these, or if they're overdue.  Everyone can log into the app to check their shifts, and also claim extra shifts as they're added, which means I can then be notified if it's been claimed.  It's got great functionality, and it's free for up to 10 users, which is perfect for managing my team without added expense.
I find it very easy to use, and when I add a new user I can choose whether or not to send them a link straight away.  I can set them up prior to showing them how to use the app, and then send the invite afterwards.  I've not had to call Customer Support, but I have used the help function, AI bot and also tutorial videos when I first set it up and found this to be extremely helpful.
I would (and have) recommended Connecteam to other users in my position, it's a great program, and one that makes my life a lot easier.

I haven't really found any yet, however I am aware that Connecteam has a lot more to offer than I'm actually using it for, and I'd like to explore that a bit more when I have time to do so, and see if there is anything else that will streamline my team further!

Connecteam serves as a shift rota, which is available to everyone working for me.  I am a disabled employer, employing people to provide me with complex care needs.  This just makes my life easier, as each month I add a new rota (usually from a saved template from the previous week, which is a great feature!) and then I amend the shifts if needed and publish it.  My staff then let me know if they can't do any of the shifts, and I can then open the shifts up for other people to cover them.

It's something that I haven't seen on the market before, and it really helps in creating a team culture, especially for our remote team. We can celebrate and reward team members through the platform, which is a big unlock for us. Our team enjoys this aspect a lot. Another thing I appreciate is how extremely easy it is to add a new employee onto the platform. It takes about five minutes to induct someone, which is super convenient for us.

What I find most valuable about Connecteam is the high level of customization available for its forms. Unlike platforms that restrict you to fixed templates, Connecteam allows you to create forms tailored precisely to your workflow. And if the built-in options don’t quite meet your needs, there’s often a workaround to achieve what you want. The platform is flexible enough to support complex logic, conditional fields, and multi-step submissions, which has been crucial for the types of data we need to gather.

We use it daily across multiple teams, and once the forms are set up, it’s easy for everyone to submit what they need without confusion. It integrates well with our broader systems - not instantly, but with a bit of effort, you can get it working smoothly. The API takes some getting used to, and it’s not plug-and-play, but once you understand how the platform handles form structures and submission formats, it proves to be a reliable tool for collecting data in the field.

The real advantage is being able to design forms that truly mirror your operational needs, rather than settling for generic checklists. For us, that’s been the most significant benefit.

What frustrates me most about Connecteam is the unpredictability of its backend. While the form builder itself is reliable, issues arise when you start handling the data - especially if you need to extract it consistently. The data structure can shift depending on how the form was submitted, and there’s no assurance that fields will remain consistent across different submissions. This inconsistency makes it challenging to create dependable downstream logic.

Another major drawback is the lack of transparency regarding how data is stored and presented. You might design a form with clear expectations, but when you retrieve the data, you often encounter missing fields, inconsistent formatting, or unexpected nesting. The documentation is lacking, so you’re left to reverse-engineer the JSON just to make sense of the structure.
Ultimately, Connecteam doesn’t cater well to technical users who require stability and a clear schema. It works fine for basic check-ins, but if you need to build something forensic or audit-ready, you’ll find yourself spending a lot of time creating workarounds and manually validating edge cases. It’s usable, but far from streamlined.

That said, their customer support has been genuinely helpful. Whenever we’ve hit a wall or needed clarity on how something behaves, they’ve been responsive and willing to dig into the issue with us. It doesn’t solve the structural limitations, but it does make them easier to navigate.

Connecteam has helped us address one of our biggest operational challenges: managing field reps in a way that is both organized and scalable. Before we adopted it, we lacked a dependable method for tracking time management, monitoring work performance, or even ensuring consistent submissions from our reps. Now, we have clear visibility into what is happening in the field, when it occurs, and how it matches our expectations.

The greatest advantage has been this newfound visibility. For the first time, we have a comprehensive overview of results from the field - not just unprocessed data, but structured, timestamped, and traceable submissions that provide real insight. The wide assortment of features is what made us decide to switch from another chat application called Breakroom. Over the last 2 years we've gone through multiple chat applications including Crew, Element Messenger, and Breakroom. We made the decision to move to Connecteam which has effectively eliminated 2 applications we were using in addition to a chat app.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

If you don't use the Time Clock feature creating Updates based on employees that are working any given day is tedious. Due to regulatory concerns we are not able to use the Time Clock or payroll integration. While I love the update feature, we're required to manually enter each employee's name. It would be much easier if we could create Updates directly from the Job Scheduling UI.

We had previously used a chat, vehicle inspection and scheduling application. By switching to Connecteam we were able to eliminate the vehicle inspection and scheduling application entirely. This has saved our company hundreds of dollars and improved overall experience for our employees.

For our team, Connecteam solved 95% of our implementation use cases that we were looking for. A community hub for our team members to understand how to do their jobs, communicate with each other, understand explicitly their job schedules, and the ability to recognize our team members in a memorable way.

My hope is that the different modules within Connecteam could "talk to" each other without the use of Zapier, which would save money. For example, if the Form module could "talk to" the Schedule module so that certain fields in forms would be prefilled based on the event in which the user is actively scheduled. Also, it would be great if there was a leaderboard component based on form activity.

The processes sometimes feel compromised because we are unable to mirror our existing operations completely, which to be honest not a big deal at all. Whenever i do need to figure out how to alter the flow of operations customers service is always very helpful.

Disjointed tools and manual processes – Before Connecteam, we used spreadsheets, chat groups (WhatsApp), paper checklists, and separate scheduling/time‑tracking systems. This led to errors, confusion, and high admin overhead.

Lack of centralized employee data & visibility – It was difficult for HQ to see what every branch was doing, track compliance, or quickly access documents, training status, or shift logs.

Inconsistent communication and updates – Especially across multiple branches and franchises, keeping everyone aligned, aware of policies, promotions or operational changes was challenging.

Complex scheduling and time‑tracking across mix of roles/locations – With staff working different roles (kitchen, FOH, admin), part‑time students, and multi‑location shifts, manually calculating hours, bonuses, shift types and pay rules was inefficient.

We have one spot to communicate now with our coworkers and connecteam is our first place to look instead of searching texts and emails and wechats, etc. we use updates to let the team know what is going on or if we have anything they need to know immediately. Employees now have immediate access to communicate with each other even as early as day one onboarding since we have the Employees tab that shows numbers, etc. We use events to show big things on the schedule that everyone needs to know and plan for as well as if anyone is taking a full day off work or longer so that our team can plan ahead for them being out of the office, as well as when our company is going to be out for holidays, etc. we have one employee right now that uses time clock for their personal preference but the rest of us use a different system right now, we might switch over soon. We just opened quick tasks this past week and i can't wait to start implementing it this week. FORMS is probably our most used category. Forms has helped us find ways to communicate product damage, tech support, employee incentives, equipment/supply requests, facility maintenance, incident reports, vehicle requests and so much more. We are just now starting to implement rewards this next week and i am excited for that, when our employee of the month gets awarded, it can now be done through there. :) celebrations is so nice because i can preplan what we are going to say for anniversaries, birthdays, etc. love it. Time off, is the best. So easy to use, i love tracking time off on here, it helped us upgrade from an excel sheet and honestly, time off is the whole reason i selected connecteam and i am so thankful i did because it has turned into a huge system that i don't think we could continue without.

I use Connecteam for a small team to create schedules, communicate, and store documentation. It helps massively with managing rotas and allows team members to liaise and swap shifts easily, while I can handle these changes with little effort because Connecteam does most of the work. I find Connecteam very user-friendly and intuitive. Whenever I have a question about features, it's usually answered within a few minutes through an AI chat.

**What do you dislike about Connecteam?**

The management of admin rights could be a little more streamlined. There are a few admins in my business and I am the sole owner, sometimes there are features that an admin automatically has access to even when they don’t necessarily need that access. The startup was quite overwhelming but that is only down to how much Connecteam can offer, but over time, the features have become clearer.
