"Streamlined Compensation Planning with Room for Growth"
What do you like best about Pave?

I use Pave for handling compensation and benefits in my organization, reflecting stock options, CTC, and other bonuses. I like how it brings clarity and structure to compensation planning. A specific feature I appreciate is the compensation cycle workflow, which centralizes and standardizes the entire compensation process, replacing spreadsheets and manual intervention. Connecting everything like roles, levels, and compensation plans is pretty intuitive, making it straightforward, though it requires some preparation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

Some advanced configurations and reports have a learning curve, like setting up compensation bands, leveling frameworks, and budget rules for different teams. These can take some time to learn. Improvements could be adding tooltips or guided setup flows. Also, we use Thrive and Workday, but I assume they are not in sync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional User Experience and Intuitive Design"
What do you like best about Pave?

Pave has an excellent user experience. The interface is modern, fast, and intuitive, which makes it easy to navigate and use day-to-day. The platform feels clean and well-designed, and it’s simple to review compensation data and equity information without needing any training. Great support and customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

The platform is strong overall, but the depth of available market data varies by region and role. For a global organization, the coverage does not always go far enough, which sometimes requires us to use outside benchmarks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Compensation Insights with Ease"
What do you like best about Pave?

I really appreciate Pave for its user-friendly interface and how it makes complex tasks more affordable for HRs. It's perfect for managing compensation and efficiently communicating employees' pay and total rewards. The thing that really works well is Pave uses machine learning and good modeling to refine job matches and provide good market insights, not just presenting static data. I also find it pretty easy to set up with clear instructions provided in the documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

One of the drawbacks is that Pave's benchmark data isn't always as comprehensive as I'd like. It could be a bit more accurate. They often lack showing current benchmarks in areas like growth marketing and devops, and it would be helpful to add more clearly defined separate IC versus leadership roles. "User-Friendly with Accurate Data, but Needs a Larger Database"
What do you like best about Pave?

I like that Pave has an easy-to-use interface and up-to-date data. It makes it simple to filter results by location and by company size or type, and the initial setup was very straightforward as well. It’s especially useful for identifying ranges across multiple countries. We have an employee base split across Canada and the US, and Pave makes it easy to delineate ranges based on country and location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

Pave’s database isn’t as robust as other tools like Radford. They need to grow their customer base so they can offer larger sample sizes. They do not have the same level of granularity as Radford or Culpepper databases. Which is especially important to smaller companies in unique market segments. "Effortless Compensation Management with Insightful Features"
What do you like best about Pave?

I really like the comparison feature in Pave. It shows the minimum, maximum, and average salary of employees at my position and location, which helps me see if I'm underpaid, overpaid, or fairly paid. That's the best feature for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

I don't think it could be improved, but there is one thing I would say. Pave actually calculates everything on the basis of last funding round valuation. But it should also give a user the ability to write value as per what they think the company's actual valuation is. There should be an option where a user can manually change the valuation per stock of a company, and accordingly, their CTC gets adjusted. This way, they can see what the total compensation is based on the right valuation, right stock value. Everything else is, I think, good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful Compensation Insights Over Time with a Clean, Easy-to-Use UI"
What do you like best about Pave?

It is a good breakdown of compensation information and very helpful for viewing that data over time. It provides a nice UI to work with and find insights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

It is not always the most accurate with additional benefit information which may be up to the employer, but I think integrations linking things back to work documents would be a great help here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Interface, Accurate Data—Looking Forward to More Country Coverage"
What do you like best about Pave?

Excellent interface and extremely easy to use. Data is constantly updated and we have full confidence in the accuracy of the data we are given. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

Not much to dislike. I think continuing to add more countries. There are still some countries we operate in that they do not have data for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickly becoming a must-have tool"
What do you like best about Pave?

I have implemented Pave's Total Rewards portal and Team view at two companies, and in the past year have started leveraging the market data (including equity benchmarking) and bands tool more and have found them so useful. I also think the compensation planning tool might now have the features I need such that it's time for another team so I can consider implementing that as well - I think our leaders would really appreciate Pave's UI for that.

The implementation and integration process was very organized and painless, with wonderful technical support along the way (first time was Natan, second was Garrett and they are both amazing~). And they keep making it easier and easier for me to make platform changes on our own. The security capabiltiies in particular have been wonderful - I am unable to share pay ranges with leaders in workday how I desire, but Pave makes it easy to set up the security I need. I, myself, use Pave multiple times a week - anytime I want to look up a range or an employee's full total rewards package, vs. Workday, as Pave is so much more user friendly.

I also use Pave for benchmarking any new roles - it's not my sole data source, but a key one. And now that there is offer data from Greenhouse and equity practice benchmarking, it's even more valuable. I see Pave as the future primary market data source of most compensation professionals.

My favorite thing about Pave is the responsiveness to feedback. They prioritize listening to subject matter experts and making changes to their platform to be more valuable to the users. They iterate quickly and thoughtfully, and are constantly improving their capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pave?

There are some features like custom peer grous that I'd like to see, and improved customization on viewing pay bands, but generally I've been very pleased, especially as they continue to improve upon their product regularly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
