"EntraID: Seamless M365 Integration, Powerful Automation, and Phenomenal Support"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

We've found that EntraID (which replaced Azure AD) is super integrated and easy to implement. It's built into our M365 subscriptions and the customer support is phenomenal. For most of our daily products we rely on it under the hood. It has a ton of features that allow us to manage license assignments and automate group allocations and permissions and roles across various products. For myself, as a dev as well as a user, I use it daily without it being in my way and it's really easy to integrate and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

Unfortunately, one of the most advertised and demoed features, such as automatic access reviews or advanced risk-based sign-in protection, depends on the most expensive Premium P2 license. That isn’t made very obvious, and the licensing matrix around EntraID is not always easy to understand or work with. On top of that, there have been a lot of deprecations that frustrate long-time Azure AD users, especially around older tools like MSOnline PowerShell. This can be particularly annoying for SysAdmins in environments that were using Azure AD well before EntraID replaced it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong, Scalable Identity Platform with Seamless Integration and Robust Security"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

Microsoft Entra ID provides a strong and scalable identity platform with seamless integration across Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party applications. Features like Conditional Access, MFA, and Single Sign-On significantly improve security while enhancing user experience. Centralized identity management, granular access controls, and strong compliance capabilities make it well-suited for enterprise and hybrid environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

Advanced security features are heavily license-dependent, which increases cost for enterprises. Troubleshooting Conditional Access and authentication issues can be complex due to limited error transparency. The portal experience can feel fragmented at times, and changes or updates are not always clearly communicated, which can impact administration and learning curves Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Identity Management with Robust Security Features"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

What I like best about Microsoft Entra ID is how seamlessly it manages identity and access across the organisation. Its strong security features like conditional access, MFA, and risk-based controls make it easy to implement a solid Zero Trust approach. It integrates smoothly with Microsoft 365 and third-party apps, simplifies user lifecycle management, and offers helpful self-service options that reduce IT workload. The clear visibility through logs and reporting also makes monitoring and troubleshooting much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

What I dislike about Microsoft Entra ID is that some features are complex to configure, and important settings are spread across multiple admin portals. Licensing can also be confusing, with key security features locked behind higher-tier plans. Troubleshooting conditional access issues can sometimes feel slow and complicated. "Intuitive Interface, Cloud-Ready Ease"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

I really like Microsoft Entra ID's user-friendly interface. It makes managing user profiles and license assignments straightforward. The self-service password reset (SSPR) feature is great too, as it reduces the time for resetting passwords without needing to reach out to the helpdesk or local IT team. It's also fantastic that users can manage their account passwords with multi-factor authentication without the involvement of a technical support engineer. The initial setup was easier for my organization, and the availability of a cloud server made the switch from on-premises Active Directory seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Azure Active Directory Review"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

Azure is very cost-effective because of its pay-as-you-go model. I only pay for what I use, which helps manage budgets and avoid unnecessary spending. It lets me run both customer and internal apps in the cloud, saving on hardware and maintenance costs. Scaling is easy—I can increase or decrease resources with just a click. Security is strong with features like multi-factor authentication and app passwords, so data stays safe. Plus, Azure offers high availability with a 99.95% SLA, which means services are reliable and always up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

Using Azure IaaS requires ongoing patching and diligent server monitoring, which is different from SaaS solutions where much of this maintenance is managed for you. It also demands a certain level of expertise, as all the various components must operate smoothly together. One frequent error is over-provisioning resources—what functions well on local servers may not be suitable for the cloud, potentially resulting in avoidable expenses. Without sufficient knowledge, businesses risk spending thousands more than necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy integration with other tools, ease of use"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

I have used Microsoft Entra ID to create app registrations, which I’m currently using to set up email integration between Microsoft and other applications I’m working on. For example, I use Fluent SMTP to connect my website with my Microsoft 365 email. Entra ID helps with the authentication side by providing an authentication token, Application ID and client secret. Overall, it’s been easy to set up.

I also use it regularly with other apps, such as RTIR, to connect to mail so I can read and write emails from within those applications without having to log into my email directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

MFA takes a lot of time, and sometimes the password requirements don’t make much sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration with Microsoft Ecosystem"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

I like Microsoft Entra ID's seamless integration with our Microsoft cloud platform, which is a great fit for our new project as we were moving towards a Microsoft environment. I appreciate its scalability and all the built-in tools like MFA and passwordless logins that are great too. We use MFA on a daily basis, and it is a good addition to our authentication process. The initial setup was easy as it flawlessly integrated with Entra and all tools are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

I think it should provide good support to non-Microsoft environments as well. We used Okta with Java and IntelliJ framework and never found any difficulty, but we struggle with Entra as most help available with Microsoft only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Secure SSO with Strong MFA and Seamless Microsoft Integration"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

What I like best about Microsoft Entra ID is how easy and secure it makes access to Microsoft 365 and other applications. Single sign-on works smoothly, so users don’t need to remember multiple passwords. The security features like multi-factor authentication and conditional access add strong protection without making the login process complicated. It also integrates very well with other Microsoft tools, which makes identity management simple and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

What I dislike about Microsoft Entra ID is that some advanced settings and security features can be confusing at first, especially for new users. The admin interface has many options, which can feel overwhelming without proper guidance. Also, troubleshooting access or sign-in issues sometimes takes time because of the multiple policies involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Entra ID: Comprehensive All-In-One Solution"
What do you like best about Microsoft Entra ID?

I find Microsoft Entra ID to be an all-in-one solution, and the capabilities are limitless. It helps us achieve our zero trust access goals. Microsoft is constantly innovating and bringing out new features in Entra ID, and the support from Microsoft for any issues is first class. It's extremely valuable as it comes in a singular package, so we don't need to reinvest in any other tool and train resources in that, resulting in time and money savings. The initial setup was not too difficult, and we got appropriate support from Microsoft. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Entra ID?

The UI sometimes changes, so some features move to other sections. It's a minor issue, but it can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
