In my opinion, Unanet is very well organized and straightforward to use. I found it easy to understand and pick up quickly. Having previously used Deltek Costpoint, I can say that Unanet is a much better ERP overall. It offers a range of strong features and I haven't encountered any bugs or errors that would interfere with completing accounting tasks. The customer support team is knowledgeable and genuinely seems to enjoy assisting users, rather than appearing frustrated or bothered. What I like best about Unanet GovCon is that it brings project accounting, time and expense, indirect rates, financials, and project performance together in one system. The project-based structure makes it easier to connect labor and costs to projects and contracts, while the reporting capabilities provide better visibility for FP&A and management. I also value the GovCon-specific compliance features and the ability to work with real-time data rather than relying heavily on spreadsheets and manual reconciliations. What I dislike about Unanet GovCon is that some processes can feel complex and require multiple steps, particularly when working with financial data, reporting, and configuration. The reporting and customization capabilities can also have a learning curve, and certain tasks may still require manual work or additional Excel-based analysis. GovCon is extremely user friendly compared to previous comparable systems we have used before. Many features can be figured out with some intuition, and updates take place in real time rather than waiting on an export or import function to occur. I like that we are connected with API for payroll - ADP. I like the Credit card import API - AMEX. I like all the reporting capabilities. I especially love that Unanet has suggestions and is always implementing new things and improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like how some features are so different from similar features. An example of this is that AR invoices can be unposted but not AP invoices. I would love more dashboard reports.

I wish they would integrate more things without it costing so much for us cause Unanet gets a lot qtrly from us and everyone already.

Not many issues overall. We’ve been long-time users, and my peers and I are rarely critical of any of the functions. Occasionally, rounding can cause conflicts with other applications we use, but it’s easy to work around and has never been a show-stopper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
