**What do you like best about Stripe Connect?**

Stripe is one the most useful payment collection tools by far. We connect it to our booking platform so that once a clients clicks on our delivery link, it brings them to the stripe payment option, where they can input their card information or however way they choose to pay. It has made it super easy for us to review and collect payments from our clients simply.

**What do you dislike about Stripe Connect?**

I don't have any much dislikes about it other than the credit card processing fee that we have to endure per order. It does cut into our revenue so we try to build around that.

**What problems is Stripe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us streamline our payment system and all of our clients use it to pay for our products and services. It is super convenient and easy to manage. It also integrates directly to our booking software for ease of use. It also sends me weekly payments once it clears so that has been easy as i do not need to push for any payments.

**What do you like best about Stripe Connect?**

I think the best part of Stripe Connect is the transparency in how payments are tracked, along with how easy it is to use and set up.

**What do you dislike about Stripe Connect?**

The least helpful part has been dealing with customer service. Sometimes it involves sending a ticket, and other times the setup isn’t very easy for someone who isn’t familiar with the platform. In my case, I accidentally created a business account that I didn’t need, which added to the confusion.

**What problems is Stripe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Stripe Connect solves is enabling payments to be sent securely through a third party, starting with the company, then through Stripe Connect, and finally to my bank. This is especially helpful for me when I’m doing freelance or contract work and need reliable payment processing.

What I like best about Stripe Connect is that it makes complex payment scenarios, such as splitting and routing payments to multiple parties, very easy. It is reliable, scalable, and easy to integrate, with automation for onboarding, payouts, invoicing, and compliance that saves time. The seamless global payments functionality also makes it easy for me to manage revenue.

**What do you dislike about Stripe Connect?**

The one drawback of Stripe Connect is the pricing, which is quite complex, and the fees associated with transactions and features may be difficult to forecast, especially when dealing with multiple vendors or geographies. Some users also report that the customer support is slow or unhelpful and that there are sometimes delays or confusion with payments or account flags. The advanced features may also have a learning curve.

Stripe Connect helps me solve the problem of payment management for multiple users, sellers, or marketplaces by providing a single solution for onboarding, routing, split payments, and compliance. This helps me by simplifying development, payout, and revenue management, and providing a secure and flexible solution for global payments without having to build the payment infrastructure myself.

**What do you like best about Stripe Connect?**

It helped us move from another vendor who did not have such comprehensive support for different tax jurisdictions. It also offers us full API access to the app, so we can build our SaaS product and not be limited by any other interface.
Stripe Support is world-class, with instant replies. Their AI chat assistant is also on-point with useful data.

**What do you dislike about Stripe Connect?**

Potentially only pricing, which can be a factor when negotiating larger contracts with our clients.

**What problems is Stripe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now we can embed a payment processor directly into our app, and the users have the native feel when dealing with payments.
We can also use its MCP to handle the data in bulk or do a deep dive on those.

**What do you like best about Stripe Connect?**

I appreciate that Stripe Connect removes friction without limiting growth. It offers reliability and supports growth, while providing subscription and billing flexibility. The automation features save real time, and the built-in security and compliance features give me peace of mind. I also find the revenue visibility to be clear, and it seamlessly connects with our other corporate tools and platforms. I like its scalability as well. The seamless payments and check-out process, subscription automation, automated invoicing, and real-time revenue reporting are very helpful. The API and interaction ecosystem along with a global payments infrastructure add to its value.

**What do you dislike about Stripe Connect?**

The fees can add up, particularly for international and cross-border transactions, and ACH and bank transfer options. The billing system is complex and requires configuration. The reporting isn't CFO-ready out of the box. The subscription management UI can feel technical, and dealing with disputes and fraud is often manual. Navigating international compliance can also be nuanced.

I use Stripe Connect to manage payments between our platform and third-party service providers. It's really useful for handling marketplace transactions where funds need to be split, routed, and settled securely. Stripe Connect simplifies complex payment flows, making it easier to set up a marketplace where money moves between multiple parties without becoming chaotic. The onboarding process for vendors is smooth, payouts are automated, and compliance checks are built-in, so I don't have to reinvent the wheel. The guided flow for collecting bank details, tax information, and identity documents from vendors is a huge help, and Stripe Connect automates KYC and anti-money laundering checks, which allows me to focus on the marketplace instead of managing payments and paperwork. The setup was also pretty easy.

The pricing structure sometimes feels a bit complicated, and when trying to forecast costs across multiple vendors and transactions, it's not always clear why some account is flagged or delayed.

Stripe Connect offers a clear, purpose-built framework for handling marketplace and platform payment flows. The architecture supports connected accounts with different integration depths, from fully branded custom accounts to lighter, hosted standards.

I value its native models for routing funds, including direct charges, destination charges, and separate charges with transfers. These patterns align with common marketplace scenarios and reduce the need for custom payment logic.

Onboarding flows are mature and handle KYC, identity verification, and sanctions checks without having to manage these processes in-house. The hosted experience is streamlined and automatically adjusts to local compliance requirements.

The payout features are flexible, with options for scheduled payouts, instant payouts to bank accounts, delayed disbursement windows, and multi-currency support. Global payment method coverage is broad, with support for cards, wallets, bank debits, and locally preferred methods in multiple regions.

Operationally, the dashboard and reporting tools are practical for managing balances, reconciling transactions, and configuring payout timing per connected account. The documentation is detailed, with marketplace-specific examples and guidance for each payment flow type.

**What problems is Stripe Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting Stripe Connect, handling multi-party payments required a mix of bank transfers, PayPal mass payouts, and manual accounting interventions. These fragmented processes were error-prone and difficult to track. Integrating Connect consolidated all payment capture and payout distribution into a single API-driven system with a central ledger. This standardised transaction state tracking, clarified the distinction between pending and available funds, and made refunds or adjustments seamless without extra manual work.

Global expansion also became far less complex. Previously, launching in a new country often required setting up local merchant accounts, contracting with regional acquirers, and mapping different currencies into internal systems. With Connect’s support for local payment methods and currency-specific payouts, these became predictable configuration steps rather than lengthy operational projects. The payment infrastructure footprint could scale with business growth without requiring region-specific processor builds.

Cash flow operations improved significantly. Earlier, payout schedules depended on manual bank runs and ad hoc timing, which led to uncertainty and misaligned expectations. Connect’s configurable payout schedules, instant payouts, and delayed disbursement options shifted payout timing control from manual processes to a set of platform-defined rules.
