"A True Single Source of Truth with Flexible Customization and Real-Time Insights"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite’s biggest strength is that it serves as a true single source of truth across finance, operations, projects, and reporting. Having transactions, job costing, inventory, purchasing, and financials all tied together in one system dramatically improves visibility and accountability. The flexibility of saved searches, workflows, and custom fields allows us to adapt the system to our business without heavy custom development, and the real-time access to data supports better decision-making. From a scalability standpoint, NetSuite also gives confidence that the platform can grow with the business rather than needing to be replaced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is powerful, it can feel overly complex for everyday users, especially when simple tasks require deep configuration or workarounds. Some reporting and UI behaviors (such as recalculation delays, limited control over certain system fields, or inconsistent filter behavior between reports and saved searches) can be frustrating. There is also a noticeable learning curve, and changes that seem small on the surface often require admin involvement, scripts, or workflows. Finally, performance and transparency around background processes (like project profitability recalculations) could be improved to help users better trust and understand what they’re seeing. "Easy to Navigate with Flexible Invoice/Credit Memo Editing and Things to Improve"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like how it is wasy to navigate and the option it gives to edit the invoice/credit memo we create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The things that can be improved in using Netsuite are the options to give when editing. Example is when editing a posted payment, it doesn't give option anymore to check the Credits Tab. When editing a posted payment as well, the amount you input in the 'discount' column and 'applied' column will be different so if you click EDIT, (for example you want to edit the Memo or date in the upper part), you need to edit the whole thing if you input different amount in discount and apply. When posting as well a lot of invoices with Chargebacks, there's a time that it was loading for so long then the work we've done was refreshed so we need to do it again. "Flexible, powerful, and scalable ERP that grows with your business"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

It's really flexible and powerful. The SuiteScript and integrations features have really opened things up for us, as you can tailor them to fit your business rather than changing your processes to fit the system. Have been using NetSuite for years now, and it is reliable, scalable, and grows with you as your needs evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Honestly, there isn’t anything I genuinely dislike about NetSuite. Like any powerful platform, it can take a bit of time to fully unlock everything it offers, but once you’ve found your feet with it, that flexibility and depth quickly become one of its biggest strengths. "Seamless Workflow and Customization Excellence"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like that with NetSuite, the entire process from estimate to delivery is seamless, which is quite different from other products that don't offer this. There is a lot of customization available from workflows, forms, and scripts, making it suitable for the various requests from different roles in our company. This customization is crucial for us, especially when printing sales orders with specific information like measurements, since each cabinet we sell comes in different sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

We have run into some things we have put in for improvement such as the ability to create invoices from sales orders, which is what our customers would like to see. Our customers only see invoices paid, but a sales order can be processed with several invoices, so they would like to know which invoices are created from which sales orders. "Comprehensive Cloud ERP That Streamlines Finance and Grows With You"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is a robust and scalable ERP platform that is used frequently for daily finance and accounting operations such as invoicing, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance. Its wide range of features, real-time data visibility, and strong system controls help improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making across the organization. Once users become familiar with the interface, the system is easy to navigate and becomes a core operational tool.

The platform integrates well with other applications and offers flexibility during implementation to match business requirements. Customer support resources, documentation, and partner assistance are generally helpful in resolving issues and supporting system usage. Being cloud-based, NetSuite allows easy access and consistent usage across teams, making it reliable for regular and long-term business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

There are some areas where improvement is required. Due to the depth of features, new users may face a learning curve, which can affect ease of use during the initial phase. Implementation timelines may extend when advanced customizations or multiple integrations are involved, and simplifying setup and navigation would improve user adoption.

Customer support response times can sometimes vary based on issue priority and support plans, and faster resolution would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, system performance optimization and more intuitive configuration options would help ensure smoother daily usage and better utilization of features. "All-in-One Powerhouse, But UI Needs a Refresh"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

The best thing about NetSuite is definitely the "all-in-one" setup. Its seriously a game changer. Instead of having separate, janky software for accounting, inventory, CRM, and HR, it's all in one single database. This means the data is always correct and in real-time, so I can run a report on inventory and know the numbers are legit right now, not from last night's sync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I gotta be honest, the thing I hate the most is that the UI feels super old and cluttered. Its like it was designed in 2010 and they just kinda slapped some new features on top. There are so many menus, sub-tabs, and fields crammed onto one page, it gives me a headache. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Customization and Reliability for Every Business Need"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

NetSuite is extremely customizable and very consistent. We almost never have downtime, and there's very little it can't do. We have loads of integrations into and out of NetSuite and it continues to perform no matter what we throw at it. We've left several peripheral platforms in favor of leveraging the customization available in NetSuite to handle our diverse practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The only downside is that it's not pretty - aka not intuitive to use. There's always a period of struggle when someone new starts, and they usually can't find their way to what they need by accident. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective for Finance, A Challenge for Construction"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I love NetSuite's ease of use, which simplifies complex tasks and helps me navigate the platform easily. Its ability to configure according to my specific needs allows me to tailor the system to our unique business requirements efficiently. I also appreciate the capability to drill down from financial statements into individual accounts and transactions, providing a deeper insight into our financial and manufacturing operations. These features collectively enhance our productivity and decision-making processes. Additionally, the additional functionality and efficiencies offered by NetSuite are significant improvements over our previous system, GP, which is reaching its end of life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Accounting for construction requires some customization in addition to configuration. Customizations are required for PSR reporting and Percentage of Completion revenue recognition. That requires either a SuiteApp or customization. Basic setup was easy, but construction functions were a bigger challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Accounting with Customization Needs"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I really appreciate how visually intuitive and easy on the eyes NetSuite is, allowing me to navigate to the same destination through multiple pathways. I find the reporting functionality exceptional as it always provides the source of the data, which lends a sense of transparency and reliability to the information I work with. Moreover, I am particularly fond of how using NetSuite simplifies the principles of accounting, making them easier to understand. This aspect is incredibly beneficial, especially in terms of enhancing my grasp of accounting concepts through the software’s interface and capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think the implementation process could use some work. Initially, it's very difficult to get it to where it needs to be. It should be tailored per industry first, then enhancements can be added after the initial implementation. Also, the initial setup was not easy due to internal factors and a bad choice of consulting company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Easy GL/AR/AP—But ARM and Reporting Feel Clunky and Limited"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I find it easy to use, nice clean interface, and having GL, AR, AP all in one system makes processes more efficient. Support is generally pretty good. Lots of options for prebuilt integrations for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

ARM is really clunky, too many layers to (Arrangement, Element, Plan - why???) Reporting isn't the best either too many limitations on table joins for the out of the box searches and reports. Custom SQL reporting isn't really an option unless you purchase the warehouse. Even using SuiteAnalytics Connect it doesn't work with Tableau times out, tables not available, etc. Analytics reports are too limiting in the amount of data they can handle. Amendments on Subscriptions aren't as they were advertised and are also too limiting, no control over the amount of the adjustment which doesn't work unless you are also using NetSuite as your CRM/Quoting system which most companies don't. Often times NetSuite is the receiver of the data, so ideally it could be configured to receive amounts in these circumstances allowing a bypass of the NetSuite proration calculations.
