As a full-stack developer, for my project I bought a domain, connected it to Cloudflare, and built a dynamic site. We currently have around 3k active users, and Cloudflare has managed security and performance seamlessly, so I don’t have to worry about security as much. I get always-on DDoS protection and a solid WAF with managed rules for OWASP threats, and it’s all free. If you’re a solo founder, I’d say go with it without overthinking. What I like about it is that it has the ability to handle security policies, guard against malicious traffic and improve application performance using cloud infrastructure. I believe that the product is worth its money due to the fact that Cloudflare offers an all-in-one solution that incorporates security features, performance and traffic management into one package.
